Anubis looked to Derek curiously. He wanted them to find someone? A girl?
"Pack Leader, no disrespect but... Two things." Anubis spoke in the same hushed tone. She still felt uncomfortable under the stares, but the fact Derek seemed to see it as ok, she didn't feel so strange.
"How are we to find her? I need a scent to go off of, a trail. How am I to find her? And..." Anubis took a breath. "Why?" Anubis knew she shouldn't ask, but she fel she needed to. Derek had peaked her curiosity, and she was determined to know more.

Nathan had learned one thing in his time of being with the pack. You obeyed all rules and orders regardless of what was given. He nodded his head at the pack leader's request. He hadn't met Kate before but obviously something was a miss here as he was requesting her company. Derek had plently of woman that could handle his physical needs he didn't need someone from outside the pack to do that for him.

Nathan agreed with Anubis though, they needed to at least know where her home was so that they could stalk her out and wait for her. Something was needed to go off of.

Kate was definitely the anchor. She hesitated as she would pull him out of the spell. There was only one way to really do it and it was to shock the person. Kate didn't really want to touch him but she had to. She would run her hands up his stomach along the inside of his shirt to arouse him. Sexual touches were one of the ways to snap out of a spell, it was a strong enough connection to distract from what was going on inside their mind, and we all know what guys think with.

She hated having to even touch him and the touch of him made her skin crawl, and her saber started seething with the anger that flowed through her. Hopefully he would come out of the necromancy spell. Kate would back up as soon as he would get out of the spell. So the vampire had been beheaded from behind, with no idea as to who it was. For whatever reason the person that had killed both of these two really didn't want to be identified. Great, another deadend. Kate was beyond pissed at this point. Something was out there stalking a family member and hopefully there was no connection to her. And now she was appointed head person between the order and the pack because she had filled Craig's role of that person since she was being given his office along with his apartment.

She audibly sighed. "So he was beheaded." Some help that way. "So you were no help." She knew it wasn't his fault but she needed to blame someone, and be angry at something.

When Kate slid her hands into his shirt, David’s arms wrapped around her body, embracing her for a long moment. He sunk his face into her collarbone and inhaled deeply, inhaled her. She was warm, soft, and fit so easily into his arms. How could she not like being here with him just like this? Then when she broke it and stepped back David's arms dropped to his sides. He could die for her and and it wouldn't even phase her.

As Kate spoke David straightened himself, fixing his shirt and running his fingers through his hair. “I’m sorry; I can’t control what he did or didn’t see. You know that.” David said as he stepped closer to her and then passed her on the way to the door. He opened it and stepped outside, leaving the door open as an invitation for her to follow him.

The air was a perfect blend of cool and dry. If he didn’t already have plans, the vampire would be stalking the streets, not necessarily hunting, but just to be out among the people. It was easy for one of his kind to get detached from the society they were living in, so easy to seclude oneself, away from the mortals who go about their daily lives worrying about what might happen tomorrow. When death is just around the corner, you don’t learn to love the little things. When you have all the time in the world, it’s the little things that make the time not so lonely. David sighed and lit a cigarette.

“There is a small clue in that memory. That girl was close to dying when he was feeding, but she could still be alive.” He said as he took a drag.

xxXxxXxxDerek blinked for a moment before answering Anubis. He didn't have to explain himself them, but then again he should just do it so they minds won't run wild. Sighing a bit, "I don't know where she lives or anything, but I do have scents. I want to have a meeting with her, nothing more nothing less," he said to the two of them. Little shady explanation but still it explained things on why. Can't they just listen and hunt this woman down?

"I think she sat on my couch last night," he mumbled as he requested for them to follow him to his place. Plus he doesn't like Kate, she is very unbearable to live with... It seems.

Kate was upset that this was all that they found out, but she would need to locate that girl, whoever she was. Meaning she'd be revisiting the crime scene where her family member and the vampire was murdered. She would have to go find her and that was her priority now, even though she should probably go home and eat.

Her stomach growled at the thought of food. She would have to stop somewhere and get something. She headed out of the morgue and exited after David. "Well, I'm off to go locate this girl." She said with a flick of her two forefingers.

David was proud of himself being cool with Kate leaving. ‘She’ll be back later.’ He thought. ‘It’s inevitable.’ Still he found a small bit of himself sad and disappointed that she wanted to leave so soon, and the vampire racked his brain for something. Anything that would make her stay. If only for a moment longer…

“Wait…” He hesitated “…How do you expect to find her? You don’t even know who she is or what she looks like.” He called after her as she almost reached her truck. David had a thought of her looking back at him with tears in her eyes run back to him so he could hold her and whisper to her that everything was going to be fine; somebody else would figure it out. He sucked in his lips and ran his tongue over them as he thought of this. It wouldn’t happen of course. She was probably so tired of him and this place; she would more than likely give him the finger and drive off without looking back.

Kate wasn't sure if she should tell him where she was planning on going, but she figured that do the same.

"I plan on going back to the crime scene." She would have to find a portable m-scanner. That would mean another trip to the order first to grab that and rent it out. The order had a lockdown on all of their equipment and m-scanners were not cheap. Kate had a sour look on her face and definitely wanted to leave. She also wanted a full eight hours of sleep where her phone wasn't ringing or something wasn't needing her attention or trying to kill her. She highly doubted that she would ever get such a thing, but she would keep hoping.

Kate would hop into her truck and start to leave because she wanted to get somewhere in this investigation before someone pulled her funding from her. She was already low on cash she couldn't afford to pay out of pocket for more stuff.

"Ok, Pack Leader." Anubis said, nodding a little. She entered the home quietly, nearing the couch. She could already smell it, the city life. She hated that place, but she knew it was where she needed to go. Anubis would have to hunt down this Kate, and bring her back. But she didn't smell like one of them, so why would he honestly want to meet with her?

David watched as Kate walked away from him, and he just couldn’t stand it anymore. When Kate slammed the door to her truck David ran over to her window faster than she could see. Despite it being almost midnight, the window was rolled down as a result of the Atlanta humidity, and he rushed his hands into the cab of her truck and grabbed her steering wheel with all his might. He had watched her leave once in the past 24 hours, and he wasn’t about to let her leave him again without telling her how he felt. Without knowing how she felt about him.

“Kate…” He whispered. “You don’t really want to leave. You want to sleep and you want to eat and have some heading of where to go and what to do once you get there.” He narrowed his eyes. “I can do all this for you, and more. Just please tell me you feel about me the same way I feel about you. Every moment I’m with you it’s like… like my skin is going to burst. I want you, Kate. And I think you want me too.” He let go of the steering wheel, but just crossed his arms over the window pane of the door. If he had to, he was prepared to rip the door open and stop the vehicle if she tried to get away without the decency of an answer.

Kate would look at David with complete vewilderment. There was a couple problems with him throwing himself at her. A. She hated clingy guys. B. She never got too cloe to anyone because when her father finally found her to kill her he wouldn't take just her with him it would start as anyone that was close to her. She really didn't care if he died or not
Then her mind wandered to how long he could satisfy her for if she did sleep with him. Kkate would avoid showing her physical desire even though she was sure he could smell it.

Kate laughed and looked at him. "I would never be obe of those prized sluts you'd varry on your arm until you get bored." Her response would show her upfront distrust and hatred of the bloodsuckers.

As Kate sat in her truck and spat out some bullshit excuse, David wanted to slap her. She was so ignorant and vain. She was just like him.

“You are not a slut, Kate.” David said immediately, not missing a beat, not letting her think before he would make her hear what he had to say. “I would not have let you into my home if you were. I would not have just done you a favor for no payment if you were. I would not have cared what you were doing next if you were.” She really had no clue how to love a person. God help the person who she decided to try to love.

“Know what? ******** you, Kate. I’m standing here ready for you to run over me with your ancient a** truck, asking for an honest and simple answer about your feelings and you can’t even give me that!” The vampire let go of her door and revealed finger marks impressed in the metal. He took a step back.
“You’re just a silly girl, aren’t you Kate? Go then, go play ‘crime scene investigation’ and bury yourself a hole in the dirt to hide in. Don’t worry about what’s happening around you, or who your true friends and enemies are. You wouldn’t believe them anyways, because you’re too naïve to see the truth. You’re too human to realize what’s really worth pursuing in your short life.” He turned and started to walk back towards the crypt.

Nathan would take iff to the leaders private quarters to get her scent. This.shouldn't prove too difficult to track one female out of the keep to wherever she went in atlanta. He was curious though as to why she was of such importance to derek.

"As you command sir." He said with the upmost respect. He would lok at anubis as he arrived in the chambers. He wouldn't have to shove his nose in the girls scent to be able to identify it, but he could definitely smell magic on her scent. She was a magic user he just wouldnt know to what extent.

xxXxxXxxDerek smiled a bit to himself, how he loved to be in command now. The rules changed very little, just a little more laid back in some and more strict in others. The other man before him was getting old, really old really fast. Getting rid of him wasn't an accomplishment, it was more to be a... Even he doesn't know. Sighing again he walked back with the two, knowing it shouldn't be very hard for them to find her. Two people doing the job, no matter what has happened the night, or day, earlier helps track down one small, obnoxious girl. "I am going to give you two a warning though, Kate she is a little bit... Obnoxious," he said sitting down in a chair.

David, a pain in an a** don't you think? Rodger was bored, most of the time. Well he did kinda disappear when the sun went down. Being younger then David, there, he need some food quicker then him. 'Bleh hit me on the back of the head again....' His mind growled a bit as he tried listening on the conversation that him and the girl, Kate, were having. It was a very interesting one at that, "Never thought of it that way David," he spat a bit to himself as he continued to listen.

Rodger didn't really notice that David was coming back to the crypt. Something about this didn't add up in his mind, grumbling something to himself he leaned against the wall by the opening.
