Monster High - The School Grounds

He laughed nervously, "I never coulda thought I'd be wearing this while asking a ghoul to the dance," he rubbed the back of his neck as he gestured to his dress .

"I mean, I know we barely know each other, but what better way than to go to the dance together, ya know?"he cleared his throat again, "That is..if you wanna go."  

[Jewels Underne]

"Yourdressispretty..." She flushed even deeper and stared at the floor. "I... I would... love to" She squeaked, smiling broadly. "t.. thankyou." She whispered, it was a relief to know she wouldn't be going to tombcoming alone.

He chuckled, "No need to thank me!"He patted her on the back with a grin stretching from cheek to cheek, "I'd be my honor. Wanna talk about the deets at lunch time? Hopefully Sally won't mind."  

[Jewels Underne]

"I uh.. s... sure... " Oh goodness, where WAS Sally? She'd wandered off and Jewels had been so distracted. "hey.. " She remembered something and thrust several badges into Felix's hands "Can you hand these out?" She looked a little guilty. "I... I mean I can't compete with magic but maybe.. "

He looked down at the fliers,
KNOW WHO RULES? THEN VOTE JEWELS.

Pretty solid campaign slogan.

He looked up at her and smiled, "Yeah, no problem. I'll try and post these in the locker room so some of the other athletes can see it."

She clapped her hands together enthusiastically.

"Oh thankyouthankyou, you're an absolute GEM you are!" She gave Felix a quick hug and hurried off to continue her campaigning till the bell rang for class.

He blew his bangs out of his face and flipped the rest of his hair behind his shoulders, "Well...this'll be fun."

And with that, he turned around and went to the boos locker room.  

[Tori Underbridge]

"Success!" Tori cheered as she fist pumped the air with a small leap. She couldn't hear what was said but she was an ace at reading body language.

Kia and Marcie looked at her questioningly and Tori replied happily,

"It's like bees and honey when a plan comes together!"

The campaigning couple still looked a bit bewildered and Tori wasn't to good explaining things all that well. Naturally they would in due time.

"I'll see you at lunch! Have fun you too!" Waving good-bye she quickly ran faster to catch up with Jewels.

She didn't want to give away her plan to Jewels so she kept what she saw to herself, now it was time to campaign their undead hearts out!

"Jeweles! Hey! Glad I ran into you! I Just got this vinage idea! Darkness rules! Vote Jewels!! Neon lights! Then we cut the power to the school and everyone will see the sign to vote for you!!"

"...Then we cut the power to the school and everyone will see the sign to
vote for you!!"

Sally appeared beside them then with a jar of glitter "I can help with the power." she said. She sprinkled glitter over the two of them with her tendrils "And maybe a little glitter too." she tilted her head.

Jewels hesitated. "y.. you don't think we'll get in trouble?" Wait, if other monsters could use magic, why was this any less of a cheat? Sometimes you needed to pull a stunt. A sly grin spread across her face.

"I... Iloveyoughouls!" she dragged both of them into a hug, giggling a little as Sally's glitter got on her boyish clothes.

The bell ringed... For lunch!

My lunch period, Dashner had definately gotten his name out to the Monster High student body. Posters in every hallway, he even put some in the restrooms on the stalls. Merabell helped him by placing some posters in the ghoul's. Before going to lunch, he took the time to look over his posters.

Wings and all, vote Dashner king of the Tombcoming ball!

All his posters had different tag lines and pictures. He grinned.

Jewels was also busy, plastering the school with posters so bejeweled in sparkles they were almost blinding. She'd gone a little mad with the glitter gel pens and stick on plastic gem stones.

It was hard work though, and she found herself wishing she had a magical friend who could just instantly paper the school in slogans for her. Sadly she'd have to rely on mundane methods, the good old fashioned way and that meant little time for actual lunch.

Tori Underbridge

Sally helped Jewels hang the posters through out the school, sprinkling glitter anywhere she could. She found she could do it much quicker if she posted them through the fourth dimension, since it seemed time flowed a bit different. Once she finished one main hallway, she stood looking down and nodded. She moved against the wall when the other students began walking through for lunch.

Tilting her head, she went off to see how Tori was doing.  

[Draconia St George]

By lunchtime, it seemed that every square inch of the school was covered in an advertisement for one or more of the Tombcoming candidates. Draconia felt more than a little elf-conscious about her picture being plastered in so many locations, but it was very neat to see all of the different, clever slogans the candidates were coming up with.

"Oh my..." Draconia carefully peeled up a "A Vote For Dash Will Make A Splash!" poster from her normal seat and carefully placed it on the tabletop. It didn't seem right to sit on one of her friends. "Well, Glen, I must hand it to you. You've certainly opened the floodgates!"

Draconia informed her eager little friend as he plopped down for lunch next to her.

"I even saw the mirrors in the bathroom advertising Rory and Marceline! Now it really seems like a competition!" Draconia wondered who she was going to vote for...Chase, of course would get her King vote, but it seemed un-classy to vote for herself for Queen. She idly regarded the walls, now plastered in glittery slogans and big smiling pictures. "Hmm....."  

[HH Bloodgood]

"ATTENTION, STUDENT BODIES!"

The intercom suddenly came alive with an announcement, startling some students and silencing others.

"This is the Headless Headmistress speaking. As you all know, tomorrow night is our big Tombcoming game against Granite City."

Boos rang out throughout the Creepateria.

"Tomorrow afternoon, instead of our last feariod class, the entire school will gather in the Grimnasium for a Pep Rally!"

The boos melted into cheers and chants of "MON-STER HIGH!"

"At the Pep Rally, we will introduce your Monster High Nightmares football team, currently ranked #2 in the league! We will also be enjoying a rally performance by...er....our new, temporary replacement secondary Fear Squad, being led by Miss Frankie Stein."

Frankie gave everyone a slightly pensive wave as she sat at a table with Slo-Mo Mortevitch, Venus McFlytrap and Spectra Vondergeist. At another table, Cleo DeNile slapped a hand to her forehead.

"We will also allow the candidiates for Tombcoming Scream King and Scream Queen to each give one final statement asking for your votes! After the Pep Rally, the polls will open online and you will be able to start casting your votes. Who will be Queen and King? You will decide!"

More cheers rose up from the student bodies.

"We will now return you to your regularly scheduled lunch programme."

With that, the Headmistress signed off, leaving the students to react to her announcement.
