Kate didn't want to say too much at the moment. She wanted the information she was after and then to be rid of this horrible crypt and the appearance of death that hovered within it. She frowned as she would light the candles.

She was being smart. "There's not any chance that your a** would hurry up?" She wasn't amused and knew this would take some time and she wanted him to make it as fast as possible. She unfolded her arms only long enough to light 6 candles around the room with a box of matches that she kept on her person.

David returned to the middle of the room when she took the candle from his hand, noticing that she did not touch his skin like she had before. He felt a moment of shame; she did not want him like he wanted her. He stood in the middle of his circle and lines that he drew with chalk, opened his book and pretend to study it while he really watched Kate circle the room and light her candles; he really didn’t need the book as he knew the incantation by heart.

When she was finished he turned the page. “You need to stand in front of me, just outside the circle. You’re my anchor. I would tell any other person that they need to give me an hour, but since I’m not piloting anything, and you’re a magic user, I’ll trust your judgment as to when I need to pull out.” David said his voice very normal and not over-explanatory. “Have you eaten? I need you to be completely calm and cool.”

It wasn't the going to be the first or the last time that Kate stared at a dead vampire, well more dead, head for hours. She was used to stuff like this. Granted every once in a while the smell overwhelmed her and caused her gag reflex to act up. She would hopefully be okay this time around as she didn't want to joke in front of David, her composure was important to her.

Saber would still be perched on her back. She folded her arms across her chest after she was done lighting the rest of the candles. She would stand where he needed her to and nodded. She hadn't really eaten but it wasn't enough to bother her. Her stomach was used to the lack of food. She'd get some later, that is if she had any appetite at all.

Anubis got tired of waiting for Nathan to start walking so she pulled him along with her, wanting to get to the lunch that she was now craving. She looked back at Nathan.

"Coming?" Anubis asked, squeezing Nathans hand slightly. She did want to enjoy being near him, but since he'd brought it up, she was hungry. Shed eat, then they could enjoy each other.

Nathan would get dragged along with Anubis into the dining hall where they would be eating lunch. He would let her enter first with a gentle push of the doors into the keep. He smiled and would only pay attention to her, the other girls didn't matter.

There was a whole bunch of hushed murmurs as he entered with her. Nathan probably should've warned her but he was hoping she could hold her own. He wanted someone who was strong enough that he wouldn't have to step in all the time, although he naturally protective nature would mean he would anyways. It was a crazy concept.

Anubis flushed, gripping onto Nathan silently. So. Many. People. Watching, staring. It ws as if she'd suddenly grown a second tail. What was so wrong with being happy?

Anubis felt the eyes glaring, the girls who wanted the Panther. Her skin rippled and shivered, creating goosebumps. She could hear the murmured, everything they said. Maybe after Nathan, she'd leave the pack.

'Yea... When this is all over, I'll go...' Anubis thought sadly, taking steps towards the food.

As the petite woman crossed the room and stood in her spot, David couldn’t keep his eyes off her. If she truly didn’t want him like he wanted her, she certainly didn’t act like it. He had plenty of experience with women that would try to play coy or flirt far too much to get his attention. He hated both. David much preferred the girl in the corner peeking her eyes up from her book every once in a while to smile and shake her head at the stupid girls. He had plenty of one night stands and nights where they were both just going through the motions, although in his case it would end with his partner’s death. That wasn’t who he wanted in his bed. That wasn’t what he yearned for now. He wanted a partner, a companion to share all of eternity with. He wanted what was standing in front of him. He wanted Kate.

David’s eyes dropped to his book. “Okay, I think we’re ready.” He said, and he crossed the room to retrieve his comrade’s head out of the box, turn around to place it in the center of his chalk circle, and then return to his position just inside the circle, opposite Kate. He sat on the ground cross legged and straightened his back.

“Estolada sinome.” David chanted. “Estolada sinome tula sinome. Teluma dela.” He chanted three times. Then after the third time his body started shaking and convulsing and he bent over in pain. He kept chanting. “Estolada sinome. Estolada sinome tula sinome. Teluma dela.” The six flames from the candles burst into six tall pillars of fire surrounding the room. David shouted in agony. The candles burned brightly for about 10 seconds, and then went out.

Then David sat up again. “I’m in, Kate.” He said, “I can see his point of view like I’m piloting him, but I can’t move him, but I think I got it.”

Kate would wait for the instruction as he entered the head of the dead vampire. She was just curious to see what it was that he saw. David would be in pain for the first moments she was sure. She usually was in so much pain that tears welled in her eyes when she entered the mind of someone that died. The memories would hopefully be in there and not gotten scrambled by whoever had piloted it before the creature died.

She wanted to know who was in control and what exactly happened. Some answers might not full reveal themselves. Kate got herself staring at David's chiseled abs as he stood there motionless probably searching for the memories of the creature. "Good, please find those memories." The word please created a sour taste in her mouth that made her want to throw up. There she was civil for a change. If he threw it in her face she'd kill him.

David stood there, a little hot from the candles and the relief from the pain, but he stood strong; the sweat cooling his upper body. He wanted to take off his shirt, but didn't want to be crude like that in front of Kate, and plus he was currently in a spell and stuff. Doing this with almost every new vampire in the city, he was used to the pain by now. ‘Once all the yelling is done, it’s fairly quite enjoyable.’ He had told somebody.

David began to recite the memories of the last night of his comrade; his eyes closed so he could see everything.

“All right, he’s walking down Johnson Street, and he’s hungry so he’ll be looking for food. There are plenty of people around; I don’t know what he’s looking for.” New vampires usually went for elders or kids, they were easier to fool, and catch. People in their late teens to early 20’s were always preferred though. It was almost like an orchard; too young and the taste felt like it was missing something, too old and it was sour, you had to get it when it was just right.

“He’s walking into a bar.” David updated, sounding rather bored with just watching other people go about their normal lives, even if it was a vampire and he could feel more than a human doing this spell.

“He’s ordering a drink….” He wanted to end all of it now, there was nothing here. The vampire would pretend to drink and start hitting on some girl, then take her out to the back and kill her. “This is going to be a while, Kate, so could you do me a favor and take my shirt off for me? I'm really uncomfortable and it's getting harder to concentrate.”

Kate was watching the necromancy spell. She wasn't really interested in how the spell worked because she knew how even though she would never tell anyone. If he found out her life could be at stake. The magic that coursed through her veins was quite powerful even though no one knew where her source of magic originated from.

Kate snarled at him when he asked her to take off his shirt. "Take it off yourself a*****e." She said with a pissed off tone. She wouldn't help him to strip in front of her, her hormones were already going crazy enough as it was. She would wait patiently. Kate would take a seat on the cold floor of the crypt and wait, not so patiently.

David smiled inside himself when his suggestion was rejected, even though outside his face was stone normal. He just let the sweat go through his shirt, then, since he couldn’t move. He liked how obvious it was that she needed a man, David could smell her… frustration. If he kept at it, she might just cave. She could also kill him too, but that was a risk he was willing to take. Besides, it wasn’t really hurting his concentration…

“He’s found a girl now and he’s taking her around the bar to the back alley.” New vampires didn’t have any class anymore. “Give it a minute and we’ll see the kill. Oh, he didn’t expect that the girl would have been so strong, and she’s started to push him away. I can feel the frustration and annoyance he felt.”

“She’s out right rejecting him now, so he should kill her quickly.” ‘Should’ was the key word there. “He’s baring his fangs to her… she screamed. He’s attacked and feeding off her quickly. Wait, there’s a voice at the beginning of the alley. He’s dropped the girl and looking towards the voice… a figure is coming towards him. Oh, it’s the human from the morgue. He’s receded his fangs now… they’re quarreling about the girl… What the-.” David twitched his body.

“Something’s hit him! He’s on the ground! The humans screaming… he’s trying to get back up. He’s up but he can’t see anything. I can hear a weird sound….” Then it was gone.

David moaned as the spell wore off and his mind started to die with it. Come on, Kate. He thought. Now would be when he needed her to do her part in the deal.

Anubis pulled the panther along quietly, trying not to hear the whispers. And yet, somehow she knew they were going to get to her. She could already feel the anger bubbling and boiling inside her, preparing to make her burst out in anger.

"This is why I was so scared..." Anubis whispered, shivering slightly again. The death glares seemed to have an actual affect on her, creating a cold draft. She felt her hand unconciously tighten on Nathan's as she flushed brighter and the stares intensified. She slowed her pace till she was walking just behind Nathan, trying to keep the fury in check. What was so wrong with her being happy? If Nathan made her happy then it shouldn't matter to anyone else, they should be happy for her. And yet, somehow Anubis knew they'd all hated her in the first place.

"You two! Pack Leader is looking for you." Someone shouted, finally breaking the silence. Anubis looked to Nathan, worry crossing her face. Funny how Nathan managed to pull the emotions to the surface of her.

"What do you think Pack Leader wants?" Anubis asked quietly, skimming around for the Alpha male.

xxXxxXxxDerek continued to wait, twiddling his thumbs as he did. The alpha was a bit surprised something was going between the two of them. Shouldn't really matter to him, but Anubis could of done better then Nathan, way better then him. Sighing as he continued to wait, how long has it been since he send someone to hunt them down. How funny this must be! Something that they should be doing right now, only for to Kate... Sighing once more he saw them in a distance. Standing up he started walking towards them, "Good afternoon to the both of you!" He said to the both of them, sounding a little cheerful even though he was not. "I want you two to do something for me, but lets walk and talk," he added then started walking towards a more quiet area for them to talk.

Anubis gave a yelp as she heard the Pack Leader speak. She was always jumpy around the Pack leader, since he was a newer leader. Yet, she was still thankful for him to be there. The moment he spoke, everyone else went back to their usual routine. No more starig.

"W-what is it, Pack Leader?" Anubis asked quietly, keeping her voice down. She knew he could hear her, so she knew speaking too loud wouldn't be suh a wonderful idea. She kept her eyes down, just in case she was introuble. The smell of food still taunted her though.

xxXxxXxxDerek continued to walk rather slowly with the two of them. Noticing that people stopped staring at the two of them, even though Nathan is at the bottom of the pack and Anubis is higher. It's better to find anyone as a mate then none at all. He was a little disappointed she didn't pick another hunter or a fighter of the pack. Seems a little off... To him...

Enough about the both of them having something secret go on for so long then it finally coming out, course everyone is going to react. Derek was just ignoring it. "I need you and Nathan to go hunt down someone for me..." He started telling her. "Her name is Kate and I want to have a meeting with her," he explained, "When you find her, bring her to the house. I don't care what time of day it is, as long as you don't wake anyone else up," he whispered.
