General Discussion Thread

My semester officially ended yesterday, so I can put my time into whatever the hell I want for a while. And since whatever the hell I want involves a lot of computeering, contributing to this as-of-now-nameless RP will be easy.

But I think we need to organize who is working on what, and lay it out so everyone can see.
Too many cooks spoils the broth, right? It should be clear which tasks are being handled by only 1-2 people, like "void refinements" or adding a new entity/organization.

I do want to contribute, but like I've said before; I don't feel there's much for me to help with since I'm mostly new with this kind of thing. I've tried making comments and helping with stuff but whenever I do its been flat out ignored or what I commented on was deleted from the document, which is a bit discouraging.

Anyway, I can be pointed in a direction and roll with it, but at the moment I'm just working on the one location. I can go back and proof read the things that are 'set' if that will be any help.

No recent comments have been deleted, they have been mostly marked as resolved as most issues have been answered or the item in question edited or removed by the original party. Without resolving comments we end up with endless stings of comments that are constantly shifting and overlapping or pushing newer comments down. All comments can still be found in their entirety under the 'discussions' tab at the top of the document.

If you feel a specific topic has been incorrectly resolved, they can be reopened by clicking on the 'reopen' tab above the comment in the discussions menu and they will pop back up.

Jay: It's been nothing new, what's been said recently has been resolved, for me, at least. And I hadn't meant that the comments themselves had been removed, but the topic of said comment had been completely changed or removed without any discussion.

We're in season 2. I love this show. I like that the characters are realistically intelligent. Especially Commander Adama (sp?).

I'm sorry. I hope getting shot at counts as a legitimate excuse for shirking my commitment here. sweatdrop

In any case, I've dropped a bit of clear-eye on life and now have time to at least finish my section (and maybe help elsewhere?), if it's still appropriate for me to do so.

I work for a Private Investigator, and we get most of our cases from the police department itself. It was bound to happen eventually, I guess, though I don't exactly intend to let it happen again. At least not until I actually decide to pursue a career in criminal justice. I'm just a secretary (of sorts) right now, so it was my own choice to go out on the streets with him.

Great! I'll get started right away, and then see where else I can help.

I still haven't received the request yet but I'm keeping an eye open for it. What email did you use, or prefer to use?
