Rachelle watched at he walked towards her. I wonder what he's gonna say.... But they did have the right to know, though she didn't really didn't do anything. "It must be very important.... She stared a the sky and waited for an answer. the sky seemed very blue. The clouds were fluffy, like cotton candy almost. It was a nice scene, and on top of that the deck was clean, she felt like she didn't have to do anything.

Sasha grins at them both, and anyone else on crew who's interested. "It's said there are fifteen special runes out there that control everything you can possibly imagine. We found the Law Rune. Its user is able to teleport where ever he/she wishes and can change the user's gravity. Which is why I want no one touching it. We're going to find as many as we can. If it's needed in battle it will be used, but no one can steal it if no one knows we have it." She laughs now, leaning against the rail.

Rachelle grinned. "I see, and what would you do if you had all of them?" She lost interest in it right away. This is what greed does to people, you want everything that you can control and will everything in your power to get it... The dark side of being a pirate... I know she won't share it with anyone, and kill anyone that will try to take it... It was her intuition. She stood up straight and her smile faded. But it did seem interesting to know what she would do.

"Interesting..." the look of longing filled Jame's face. A rune that powerful could end all his troubles. If the opportunity arose he would be hard pressed to not act on it. But for the time being he would be a good boy. Or as good as he knew how to be. He continued to lean against the rail with his arms crossed, just thinking.

Rachelle looked at James. As I presumed, even James wants it... What is it that drives people to greed? The desire to want things? To be strong? I won't fall for this, I don't want it, no, I don't need it... She motioned her head to the sky, Thats right, I don't need it... She kept repeating that in her head. "i don't need it." She finally said.

Sasha turns to Rachel, replying to her question. "Finding the treasure is half the fun. Hell it's most of the fun. But with seeking gold or jewels those can be spent. In seeking these we could ensure we're never taken by the Navy, without having to lose half of our crew in a fight. Not that we won't still put up one hell of a battle." Laughing, her eyes narrow at James now. "Don't even think about it. If you go near it I'll eat you're soul and toss the remains over board." She says it loud enough for all to hear, though she's looking at James. "None of e want to cross a Succubus. Especially one who doesn't feed for months at a time. Now, back to work; all of ye."

Rachelle looked around. To her, she had nothing she ever wanted or nothing to lose. She was trained to do whatever the leader said. Never once having the chance to be the leader. THat didn't bug he, what bugged her that people put all their effort into find something to grant their wishes, when they should put their own wishes into action by themselves. Wouldn't it make it more worthwhile? As she sat on a barrel while thinking, the barrel started to move, crew men were cleaning, someone told her to get to work, she then began to mop the floor.

James stared back as she spoke, his eyes unwavering. Her threats didn't shake him, He knew real fear. Being left to die and hunted by a foe you don't know who could appear anywhere, who knew more about you than you could ever hope. That made him afraid. But now wasn't the time to start fights or burn bridges. The serious look in his eyes melted away as the captain shouted for everyone to return to their post. James slipped next to Sasha getting close, but making no contact. "Captain, you know I'd only touch those runes so we could get some alone time." He spoke in a hushed tone. "Now I believe we still don't have a first mate on the ship."

The crew all goes back to work, knowing full well Sasha doesn't bluff. Eying James, she nods now. "I told you I would make a decision after we finished our hunt. I haven't come to one yet. But come have a drink in my cabin and we can discuss it. Or rather, you can talk me into choosing you." Turning, she strides into her cabin and pulls out scotch.

James sighed "Some other time the...Wait what?" The young pirate was caught off guard by the captain's statement. He cleared his throat composing himself somewhat as he followed her into her cabin."Of course, I can talk anyone into anything." James stopped short of entering the cabin. 'Wait is this a trap? The thought filled his head for a moment but was quickly smothered by his confidence. There was no trap he couldn't get out of. He smiled but something felt different. He slowly moved a hand to his teeth, his canines to be specific. "What in the world..." He had to finish up with the captain and read that book he's bought. He stepped into the cabin closing the door behind him.

Rachelle finished mopping the floors and looked around to see if everything was done. Work was finished and there was nothing else to be down. She walked into her cabin and lay on her hammock. Well, now that my goal to find my parents has been abolished, there really isn't any reason to be on the ship, is there? She wonder about going back to Japan, Going home would be the best thing, right? But I failed, I never found them. All I know is that they are dead off the face of the earth. Maybe the next time we stop somewhere, I can escape and find my own way home. Or I can stay here and when we there, I don't have to stay. She chuckled, then laughed at how much she hated herself for thinking so much in one day.

James cleared his throat once again, looking around the room trying to get his bearings, of all days for him interview for promotion it had to be this one. Was he ever this off his game? " Well uh, lets see... why would I be a good first mate.. Not the strongest start, but in all fairness his mind was elsewhere. James' eyes caught the his captain's 'assets' causing him to reset. his body lost the tension his eyebrows lowered slightly and he exhaled smoothly. The first mate-to-be lowered his head and smirked showing his sharp canines not intentionally of course, hell they just showed up moments ago. " My apologies captain, I lost my train of thought. As I was saying I'd make a great first mate, I'm willing to do as the Captain asks and take on any job, any at all." James winked and leaned against the wall. "But in all fairness maybe you should explain the position in better detail, maybe ask me some questions, test my fighting ability. Anything to prove that I'm your man."

Pouring him two fingers of scotch Sasha listens to his ramblings. When he finally stops she smirks. "Distractions tend to happen around me. Looking's just fine but touch and you die." Taking a shot, she looks over at him again. "I could... Or I could do things how I want to. The job is you overseeing the crew under me, being in charge if I'm off ship, taking over if I'm killed." Pausing now she laughs at the being killed part.

James clapped his his hands together at her last statement. "Exactly! No wait not that I'd like to see you dead Captain, just that you description of the job is defiantly what I'm suited for." He picked up the glass and nodded in thanks. "Captain you know I'm a gentleman, I would never cross a line. Unless I was invited to in which case it would be dishonorable not to oblige, don't you think so, love? Err... ma'am." James took the drink and gulped it down before placing the glass firmly on the table. Old habits die hard and James' borderline misogynistic tendencies were some of the oldest habits on his lengthy list.
