Once she shut the door to her car and her car roared to life, David started walking to the back of the building. When he was away from the road, he took off and ran to the address he had given her, which took her to a large stone crypt in the middle of Johnson Park, in the southern side of town. He pushed open the door, and noisily closed it behind him. He leaned on it and took out his phone, sending a text to Roger to alert him when she was close and when she had arrived.
Then he crossed the giant open room to the door on the opposite side and navigated himself around narrow hallways and doors and down some stairs to a large stone door with an intricate metal lock on it. ‘David, my darling.’ He heard her voice whisper in his head and he smiled, good she was up. He pushed open the door and stepped inside the elaborate and posh room with a coffin on a raised pedestal a few hundred feet in front of him. “Good morning, my queen.” He said as he entered, also in kind of a question as to where she was.
The coffins lid opened and she sat up without looking like she moved at all. Temarah’s body rose out of the coffin and she landed on the floor on her feet. Queens do not crawl out of their coffins. She opened her black eyes and smiled at him. “What are you up to, David?” She said her voice soft and sensual, almost a whisper.
“I have a guest coming, but now is not the time you requested.” He said as he crossed to lounge in a chair. “It’s something small, she shouldn’t be here long, a few hours, still plenty of time to get you out to feed.” He lay back to the side of the chair and stretched his left leg over the arm; he stretched his back and arms and rested them behind his head.
“I will not slip out like some rat running from a broom in my own house.” She hissed at him from behind the changing wall. She emerged in a tight black dress with a red corset and long red sleeves. David loved everything she wore, so cliché but still very beautiful. “Besides, my kitchen is already stocked.” She said as she waved her arm to her second closet. The doors opened on its own and inside were a man and a woman, gagged and bounded to chains that connected to the wall behind them. Their muffled screams hit David’s ears and he rose from his chair and went to stand in front of them.
“When did you go shopping?” He smiled at the couple.
Temarah came up to stand behind him, and she slid her hands under his arms and across his chest. “I could never have asked for such a loyal servant such as you, my darling.” She said. “But I do have some other, unimportant errand boys. They bring me what I need.” She kissed his neck. “Hurry up. You do not have much time.”
David stepped up to the couple and took their chins in each hand. He considered each of them and decided on the man. He was stronger and it would be a more satisfying kill. He undid the ropes but did not undo the gag. The man took the opportunity to attempt to run away, once his feet were free he got up and made a run for the door. There was a flash of black and all of a sudden David stood in front of him, eyes completely black and teeth all turned to fangs. David hissed a warning at the man and the man just stood there stupefied. David took a step closer and the man, now accepting of his fate, whispered through sobs and tears "Please, don't you have any compassion?"
"The world has shown no compassion to me." David replied, and he grabbed the man by his shoulders and sunk his teeth into the mans neck. Hearing a scream, he opened his eyes and looked up to see Temarah advancing on the woman....
He dropped the man when he was done, and proceeded to drag him out of the room. "Do not worry about that, love. You must go, she is here." And sure enough his phone vibrated in his pocket. He straightened up and crossed over to his queen.
"Soon my love." She said resting her palm on his cheek, their skin warm from the feedings. He nodded his head into it, and raised his own hands and held her hand on his for a moment longer. "It is not yet time. But soon. Do what you have to, I will tell the others to go out the back."
David obeyed, and let go of her hand. He turned and left the room to meet Kate outside the crypt.

xxXxxXxxDerek sighed, stopping his pacing as he made his way towards the front door. He needs to find Anubis and Nathan, Anubis had a good sense of smell and Nathan... Well he doesn't even know what to think of Nathan. Good with words? Something like that. The warm sun caused goosebumps on his arms, it was nice to feel against ones skin. A few people said hello to him once he left the gates of his place, of course he said hello back. Others looked at him a bit weird... 'I do not look that bad do I?' He thought to himself as he continued to walk, running his hand through his hair. It wasn't up like one of those cow licks, or a lions mane.
Derek was in a simple shirt, pants, and shoes. Nothing should be wrong with him... Soon enough he found someone he was looking for, since he didn't find Nathan or Anubis. "Have you seen Anubis at all?" He asked the woman. She nodded, saying she saw Anubis this morning then disappeared. Probably to calm down in the forest, the woman told him to go sit in the chair over there to wait for her to come back. "Thank you," he just waited by the chair, keeping his nose in check. Making sure she won't make her way by him or Nathan.

David turned the corner and opened the door to the crypt, the wind pushing into the room felt cooler than normal on his warm skin. That's one thing he liked about Atlanta, the days were warm and the nights were cool; humid, but still cool. Seasons were the seasons they were supposed to be. Not like he saw much sun or enjoyed the warmth on his skin much, but he could tell how the earth felt after a long day of sunshine. Like it was growing, always changing. Not like him and his kind though, always constant and still, even statues changed with time.
He stepped out and saw Kate in her car. He waved at her to come out and follow him into the building. He proceeded to gather the random things that they needed. David really had no plan for what was coming, but he had just eaten, so he had all night. "Place the box on that windowsill, darling. We have some things to prepare." He said.
