I believe steve is waiting on things to be written out so he can give his two cents on things since he doesn't want to read this thread.

I, myself, have nothing to contribute that would affect anything except y characters story. Not yet anyway, she'll be connected to things, but none of the societies are my creations and I don't want to step on any toes other than giving suggestions or asking questions and since none of them are close to being finished, I don't have a lot to contribute.

Edit: Not that I need to actually be able to get my mitts on the doc. I'd be happy to be assigned a specific section to fill up. Doesn't matter exactly what.

This would, of course, be done within the next three days tops. Just because I know that if I don't produce any material before long, no one can be sure if it'll ever even happen.



Edit2: As in, Dante, you could assign me a section and I'll give you what I come up with so that you can put it in the google doc.

Would you feel comfortable doing some more specific location descriptions (i.e take short blurb and make it more tangible detail wise?) for us? thats something we need to get to eventually, but the GM's have been working on setting up the major organizations/fiddling with mechanics behind the scenes.

A few to pick from from the 'black list' aka stuff that isn't in current edit mode. Pick and choose whatever comes to you and well add it in for later adjustment/finalizing for use when the RP goes live.

1) The O’Carol Library: HUGE filled with massive amounts of book. This building was named after the scholar Professor O’Carol after his tributes to modern medicine, however he randomly disappeared into the unknown shortly after his public announcement.

2) Hawk’s Ridge: An on looking cliff with the over the ocean. Also known for make-out central and also sightings of Cultist practices.

3) The Bouchard Hotel: Favored place in town for foreigners to stay, very old and rustic and not modernized. There is also a small bar to grab a drink as well. Although the town isn’t very small, this hotel has been noted to be a historical landmark - it was the first building to start selling alcohol.

Also a town hall and a commons or park area, think New England style commons area or shopping district for area flavor and whatnot

Click the gear in the upper right hand corner and make sure the document settings are set to English, then log in again.

Though it was far (FAR) more complicated than it should have been, I got it. Thanks for trying to help, folks.

We now have more people with editing status than ever on the world building document, but the actual number of contributors hasn't really changed much (only 36% actively contributing). I love that we have so many people interested in the RP itself, especially so early in the project, but it is still early and what we NEED right now is all hands on deck to build the frame work to which the rest of the world interacts with.

If you want to contribute on the foundation of the RP world we need to know. Not by posting here about how busy you are, but grabbing a project from the to-do list and working on it.

If people want to simply keep appraised of our progress I have no trouble leaving people the right to view the document and comment in the chat box, but I would rather keep the world building team as tight and focused as possible for focus and continuality, and that team is going to end up being made up of those who are willing to contribute written material for us to work with.

Plainly put; you cant make bricks without clay.

In light of this, I'll make a list of those who wish to be part of the building process. If not, we will edit your status so that you may comment and view, but this will give us all an idea of who will be able to contribute:
