It would start again, the chattering as the pokemon would seem to land hard behind him as banked and then would swerve a bit until he does a complete 360 following his own tail to turn around in the air.
Yet, even as he turned ...that sound followed. Chattering and picking at his brain, as he saw that his trainer was trying to stop the sound but unless he landed there was no protection for him.
None at all.
Jasiri at this point has press her hands agains there ears.
Why did that pokemon had to chatter so much ...?. An idea came to her, she knew a way to make it stop. She knew exactly how to make it sound ...as she looks over at Chrono and smirks.
"Use Screech to try and shut that pokemon up."
She would declare sharply to him as Chrono would nod and then ....give a huge ear piercing screech.
Tiye wasn't sure nor did she care as they continued their track through the barren place. Nothing ..nothing everywhere, and the girl would start to wish for something cool to drink.
They were more than halfway through this place before it occurred to her to start complaining.
"This is a very stupid mission. Why send students out to do what the Professors themselves could have done in half the time?"
She started to whine to herself as Aida kept her attention on the area in front of her. Her nose sniffing the earth for any signs of what they were searching for, but she was finding nothing at this point.
A million feet of land and there was no way to find a single track in it all.
She would simply lift her head and looks back at her.
"OH well, we just roam around and hopefully we will find something."
There certainly wasn't any risk to the Kecleon. With aim like that the Dieno was more likely to hit the ground than his opponent. So poor was it's opponents aim, the Kecleon would merely take one large step to the left.

On the upside, Bael hadn't been attacked this time. Instead, it seemed the roggenrola wanted to do some prep work, sloughing off bits of the stone and dirt that were weighing it down. That was good for now, as Bael and fell muzzle-first into a snow bank in his attempt to evade the rock pokemon's moves. Unfortunately, the pup was at a disadvantage, one that would only get worse as the battle progressed. "Fall back, Bael! Let our new teammate take over," she commanded, and before the pup could complain, Aria recalled him so that he could spend a few moments to steady himself.
The roggenrola wouldn't be without an opponent for long, though, since Aria would then toss out the ball containing her new sandshrew companion. "This'll be as good a chance as any to see what you can do, Isolde," the girl said as the white sandshrew got a look at what was going on. ^Oh. Okay!^ the little pokemon squeaked as she tried to close the distance between her and the roggenrola. Without getting hit, of course.

Descending upon the archway, a number flying types would begin singing.A flabebe would come forward first, a literal flower girl, followed by two Salandit. One seemed aged, and a bit warn, wearing a bowtie and cumberbun made out of a silk napkin and tablecloth. More importantly beside him, in a dress clearly made from repurposed drapes, was the bride. Unsurprisingly a female Salandit.
The ceremony would proceed in traditional fashion and without incident, and as it came to an end and the new 'couple' walked down the aisle, Nimrose and Eins would find themselves shoved and dragged to the front by the other bridesmaids and anyone else female in attendance. The reason why would be clear as the Bride turned her back on the steadily gathering crowd. She was about to throw the bouquet!
A wink and a toss, flowers sailing through the air in slow motion as the Pokemon around Nim pushed and shoved....unfortunately for them, Nim was quite a bit taller than anyone else in attendance. Hitting her like a board at the back of the hope, the flowers would strike the girl in the chest and land in her hands.
Based on the series of glares she was now receiving...she probably shouldn't stay for the after party....

Unsurprisingly, Sol would choose to have Umbra handle that particular task. Both because it saved him from getting wet, and because it would help wash the Wingull's parting-gift from the Golett. Signalling the Golett to retrieve the ball....a process which took three tries and a great deal of pointing...the boy would then remove his cherished scarf and dunk it in the shallows. He needed to cleanse that particular article as well.
Once Umbra returned with the ball, Sol would take it in hand and hold it up to the sky. Noticing the 'day-moon' out of the corner of his eye, the boy would smile as he announced proudly "I'll call you Rille."
With that the Pokemon would be safely tucked into his coat along with Polaris. Once Umbra had shaken off the excess moisture and once more donned the backpack, the two would head off deeper into the golf-course.
Starter Pokemon: Golett Name & Level: Umbra, Lv 4 [Temperament] Brave Bio: Shaped from clay and given life centuries ago, this Golett was created with a singular purpose: to serve the people of his homeland. In times of peace that meant simple feats of strength, hauling limber and iron. In times of war...acts far more grim in nature. When he rose again it was to the shattered ruins of what once was, and the broken forms of other Golett. He wandered the remains of the castle for a time, but departed before long. There was no point in protecting a land which had been forgotten by the ages, and so he went in search of a new "purpose". It was this same search that would lead him to the tunnels beneath Roshan City. A veritable maze, the tunnels see frequent use by smugglers and those of less than legal enterprises. It was here that he encountered Sol, and where he found purpose once more. Dubbed "Umbra" by the boy, he once more found himself with a home and people to serve; but in his ticking "heart" he knew it was only a matter of time before he once more graced the battlefield.
Pokemon: Totodile [M] Name & Level: Rille,Lv 4 [Temperament] Adamant Bio: Rille is in a word...enthusiastic, as well as prone to wearing his emotions on his sleeve, and disregarding common sense. The Totodile is quick to put up a fight, even when he's not sure who or what he is actually fighting. All that matters is the reason why; especially if that reason involves a reward in some form. Sol obtained his Totodile after a short battle in a golf-course water hazard, during which the Water-type had intended to collect some form of Bounty. His eyesight is an occasional subject of concern, as he is prone to misidentifying others. Stats: HP:9/19/PP:18/ATK:12/DEF:11/SPD:9/SP-ATK:9/SP-DEF:10 MOVES: - Leer - Aqua Jet - Water Sport - Scratch Held Item: EXP: 0/125
My it was suddenly very quiet around here wasn't it? Though the boy supposed that was supposed to be normal for a golf-course. Then again this was mini-golf which some would argue was not real golf. The girl's whining wouldn't go unnoticed. Ears perked up, a Rockruff would trot out from a nearby pile of rocks.With fur a tattered mess, covered in dust and salt, the Pokemon's wild appearance didn't match her upbeat demeanor. At least until the second her blue eyes set on the Snubbul, a deep feral growl rumbling in her throat like thunder.
Taking much more deliberate steps than before, the Rockruff stalked forward. ">You...Go! <" The Rock-type growled, staring more at Aida then Tiye. It would seem being faced with another canine had turned this into a territory dispute. ">My...home!<" She'd stamp a paw to emphasize. Though her words were few and halting, it seemed likely from her behavior and unkempt appearance, the Rockruff didn't do a lot of talking.
Now it certainly sounded like a warning, but it was clear that this was either going to be a fight, or involve the Rockruff nipping at them the whole way out of her 'territory'.
The creature that came to greet them this time was of the doggy type ...it's growl and barks had Tiye looking at it strangely. It's fur was matted and it looked rough around the edges, but it's behavior ...made the girl smile. It was a creature of different breed, and Aida only rolls her eyes at the dog. She was a well-breed dog, and knew better than to act like a common stray or a mutt. This territory business came about only because ...she couldn't control the world around her, and thus, she seek to make a sanctuary in it.
Aida didn't have that problem, and thus, she would urn up her nose at the Rockruff's behavior and actually starts off mocking it.
(You...go? Can you not speak properly?)
Aida would declare with a sniff.
She didn't turn to run, because the moment that she tried to do that ...she knew this female would chase her all over the dunes. Thus, she stood her ground and spoke to it.
(We have no interest in your territory, and I have no interest in you. Go chase your tail somewhere else and leave us be, barbarian)
Aida would declare.
She hadn't turn to see the sparkle in Tiye's eyes. Another doggy type pokemon and one of a different type is something she had no problems with adding to her group, but for the moment, she chose to only wait.
She needed to see a bit about what she was made of, and thus, she didn't interfere as it seemed to continue to be aggressive towards Aida.
Not the best attack, but hopefully there would be time to fix his mistakes. As Dante lunged with a mouth full of flames, it would be very apparent to him that he would lunge for thin air. What was wrong with his nose? It just was not working today. It was now time for defense. Dante would lunge around with his teeth bared in attempts to scare the enemy.

Mini-Golf might not have been "real" golf, but you know what it did have? Balls. The golf course's lake was currently dotted with them, bobbing up and downcarelessly. Perhaps they'd been left behind in the evacuation, or maybe Pokemon liked to throw them around. Regardless, it seemed Sol was here just in time for the clean-up grow. Little Surskit ran across the surface of the water, scooping up the multi-colored balls and balancing them on their heads before fleeing. One Surskit headbutted the ball a bit too hard, getting caught in a flash of light and sucked in before sinking right to the bottom of the lake.
Perhaps I should have been more specific; not just golf balls, but Pokeballs.
While they weren't all Pokeballs, there were enough that perhaps a trainer could be tempted to try and fish one out of the water. Would Sol risk it, or would he move along?

[MISS!] /EY! CRAM IT, JABBERJAW!/ The Pachirisu hadn't taken the rather unsubtle hint from Chrono, and proceeded to yell right back at the Murkrow. /Cripes, you're a crazy Chatot, aint ya? What crawled up your tailfeathers and died, huh?/ He cackled, amused by his epithets, and totally unaware of how loud he was. Rubbing his hands together, he'd launch himself forward against, fangs glinting in a Crunch attack

Nim watched the whole situation curiously. Even if she wasn't particularly fond of Pokemon, she had to appreciate how much the creatures seemed to care for each other. Were human ceremonies like this? It was... nice.
Except getting pelted with flowers. She... wasn't certain she appreciated that. Such strange traditions. Lacking any frame of reference for what the flowers meant, she'd shove them in her bag and run off, well aware of the hostility around her.

Starter Pokemon: Mimikyu [F] Name & Level: Eins, Level 4 [Temperament] Lonely Bio: Eins spent most of her pre-capture time haunting a candy store and sneaking free lollipops into the pockets of screaming children. She'd have been content to stay that way but for the will of the cult. Indeed, she was actually caught by Nim's sponsor, and given to the girl in an attempt to give her a step up when it came to fighting. The sponsor also has a slightly better sense of humor than Nim-- giving a Mimikyu a Mimikyu! No one could count on Nim's dislike of Pokémon being quite as... intense as it was, for the girl can barely stand to look at her starter. Nim couldn't even name the creature properly, just giving it a number for a name. For her part, Eins isn't too fussed; humans are strange, and she'll melt her trainer's heart one way or another... possibly by giving it a heart attack, but still. Oh? Switching out? The Roggenrola narrowed her one eye, clearly frustrated and confused. Humans were be such cheats, weren't they? It wasn't like she could call for help... she'd heard of it happening on other islands, but nothing like that happened here. Generally. She'd heard talk of the Pokemon blessed by the guardians of this island... but they weren't here right now, and she needed to prepare for another bit of trickery. Shutting her eye, she focused, slowly levitating rocks around Isolde and herself. A Stealth Rock set-up to deter any more games!

Aria frowned at the roggenrola's antics. Great. Like we needed more rocks in this place, she thought bitterly as the stones began levitating around the field. Not like she was planning on switching Bael back into the fight if she could avoid it, but the rock type's move certainly served as a deterrent. It did give Isolde a chance to close the gap between the two pokemon, though, and Aria wasn't about to toss that aside. "Let's see what you've got!" the girl called out to encourage her newest ally.
^Please don't take this personally!^ Isolde squeaked as she got within range of the roggenrola. Ice formed on her claws and built up, forming large icicles. The white sandshrew swung with one claw and then the other, causing the icicles to fly off towards the roggenrola and hopefully crash into it. Still not the best of attacks to use, but it would hopefully be more effective than trying to shoot fire at the little rock pokemon.
