A Sewaddle hung onto the side of the massive tree's bark, chewing a leaf slowly. She stared right at Jasiri, completely unafraid. Lacking in any kind of experience or worldliness, she hadn't yet learned to fear humans or flying types. So instead of fleeing, she just watch curiously.

In the Garden of Monsters
A cold, dark wind blew over the two as they stood before the windmill. Closing his fingers into a fist, the Golett felt as though they didn't do so properly....it felt....weak somehow....and a familiar feeling return to him. For a moment the Pokemon felt dread.
Yet somehow, as Sol stood beside him, the Golett felt that things would work out. Somehow.
Giving the Golett a thumbs up, Sol would merely grin before waving his starter forward. They still had ground to cover, and if they found a water hazard they could finally clean off the Wingull droppings.
Starter Pokemon: Golett Name & Level: Umbra, Lv 4 [Temperament] Brave Bio: Shaped from clay and given life centuries ago, this Golett was created with a singular purpose: to serve the people of his homeland. In times of peace that meant simple feats of strength, hauling limber and iron. In times of war...acts far more grim in nature. His last images of a world long lost to the sands of time, were of his comrades and redness of flame. Then....darkness.
When he rose again it was to the shattered ruins of what once was, and the broken forms of other Golett. He wandered the remains of the castle for a time, but departed before long. There was no point in protecting a land which had been forgotten by the ages, and so he went in search of a new "purpose". It was this same search that would lead him to the tunnels beneath Roshan City. A veritable maze, the tunnels see frequent use by smugglers and those of less than legal enterprises. It was here that he encountered Sol, and where he found purpose once more. Dubbed "Umbra" by the boy, he once more found himself with a home and people to serve; but in his ticking "heart" he knew it was only a matter of time before he once more graced the battlefield.

Nim might not have been able to understand t he Pnapour, but she recognized what kind of person he was. She remembered the Elders' lectures, about that boy who injected one whole marijuana into his eye and exploded... say no to drugs! With a shriek, she booked it.

Starter Pokemon: Mimikyu [F] Name & Level: Eins, Level 4 [Temperament] Lonely Bio: Eins spent most of her pre-capture time haunting a candy store and sneaking free lollipops into the pockets of screaming children. She'd have been content to stay that way but for the will of the cult. Indeed, she was actually caught by Nim's sponsor, and given to the girl in an attempt to give her a step up when it came to fighting. The sponsor also has a slightly better sense of humor than Nim-- giving a Mimikyu a Mimikyu! No one could count on Nim's dislike of Pokémon being quite as... intense as it was, for the girl can barely stand to look at her starter. Nim couldn't even name the creature properly, just giving it a number for a name. For her part, Eins isn't too fussed; humans are strange, and she'll melt her trainer's heart one way or another... possibly by giving it a heart attack, but still. In the Garden of Monsters
Paradise Resort
Finally. The Organization's intended place of leisure lies before you... it's a bit underwhelming. A wall stands before you; from the shoddy materials used and the haphazard design, it must have been constructed as the workers fled the resort. The e only opening before you is a makeshift gatehouse. Squeeze yourself inside, and take a look at the wall. Painted on it is a map, which gives you a clearer sense of the island-- you're currently at the outsides, and the place where you were dropped off is in the direct center. But it's not what's behind you that draws you interest, is it? If you've come this far, you want to know what drove away Team Rocket? Do you love the thrill of a mystery unsolved? Do you wish to loot what was left behind? Do you crave justice for the workers? Or do you intend to force whatever powers lie beyond the wall under your yoke? For the map also shows you three paths, the three parts of the resort that Rocket completed before abandoning the project. A golf course, a well-manicured garden, and the pathway leading to the hotel itself-- you'll have to decide with path to take. But beware; what chased the Organization remains, and its anger has not abated.

For a few moments, Nim just stood in the gatehouse, biting her lip. Where to go, where to go... she pushed the hotel out of the way automatically; the Swellow wouldn't have taken the human to such an urban area. The... golf place was out for that same reason. Therefore, there was only one place left. With a swallow, she'd take off down the path to the Garden Center.

It was actually a quite pretty place, if a bit empty, Nim pulled her sweater back over her body as she walked, looking around. The grass was lovely, after being on the snow and then the rocky wasteland

A little Totodile paddled happily in a little golf course lake, completely oblivious to the world around her. His little nose perked up, and he stared right at Umbra and Sol. /HUMANS!/ he cried out happily... well, Sol was definitely human, but the Golett was human-shaped, so perhaps his vision wasn't that good. /I've heard I get a bounty on you guys! C'mon, c'mon, c'mon!/ With a roar, he'd begin to throw water up in the air, trying to set up a Water Sport!
Totodile [m] Lv 4 Nature: Adamant Stats: 19/19/PP:18/ATK:12/DEF:11/SPD:9/SP-ATK:9/SP-DEF:10 Moves: - Leer - Aqua Jet - Water Sport - Scratch EXP: 0/125
The little bug should have been safe, but the sound of crunching caught Jasiri's attention.
It should have been safe, it was only a little bug and made no motions of attack as Jasiri would whistle loudly.
It should have been safe, the sound would catch the bug's attention, but not just Sewaddle as Chrono would dive from the sky with his wings folded.
It should have been safe, another trainer, another person would have walked pass the bug and let it live, but Jasiri couldn't make herself let weakness live.
Besides, it has been a while since she had feed Chrono ...the Battle Arena had stole his chance at fresh meat. This would not be the case here, and with this creature especially weak against Chrono, why waste a chance to gain experience? Not only that, they had the element of surprise if nothing else as the Murkrow would level with her as she pointed and then he rockets towards his opponent.
His deadly beak gleaming in the sparse light of the forest.
A creature of high speed, Jasiri knew there was few pokemon that can match or beat his speed and definitely not a Sewaddle. The advantage was all theirs and she wouldn't let it go ...as the Murkrow used peck aimed at it's unprotected head. (3/10)
A big mistake, the Snubbull would charge forward in a counter-attack as the pokemon would laugh at them both. The plan it would seem had worked in their favor despite Tiye's mistake. The pokemon's attack hadn't been lowered, the move had failed ...but laughing her head off, the Vullaby's defensives it would seem had indeed drop.
When the pokemon would start to leer ...the Snubbull would be in her face as her maw curl with flames.
- Battle Information - [Bael is at the ready in case of conflict!]
Glad that his compliment seemed to drive away whatever anxiety the odd sandshrew might have had, Bael gave a smile as the white pokemon showed off her hide a bit better. Based on what she said, she was rather rare, just as they thought. Not unique, but still rare. At her question, though, Bael glanced at the fur on his back before chuckling. ^Not really. It's colder than I'm used to, but my fur helps keep me toasty,^ he answered, grinning a bit. Of course, being a fire type helped with that, but that might not have been the best thing to say to something that lived in a frosty area.
As if to protest, Aria let out a sneeze, causing Bael to whip his head around to see what caused the sudden noise. Realizing that it was just a sneeze, the canine pokemon laughed a bit before looking back at the sandshrew. ^My trainer's not so lucky, though...^ A thought struck the pup when he said that. The sandshrew mentioned outsiders... ^Actually, we're supposed to be looking for an outsider. Apparently some humans, older ones, got stuck on this island. We're supposed to find one and rescue them,^ he explained, then gave the sandshrew a cheery smile. ^We're also supposed to find ourselves a new partner, and we were hoping you could be that teammate. It'd be good to have someone that knows the place, and I'm sure you have some interesting abilities compared to other sandshrew.^
- Traveling down Everlast Summit (paused) - [2/10]
Flames would lap and scorch the Vullaby's fine plumage. Of course such a disgraceful mark upon her beautiful feathered form meant war; but as the Vullaby moved to strike she'd catch the smell of burnt feathers. The bird Pokemon would flinch as a result....her steely revenge would just have to wait.
Aida didn't even hesitate as she opens her maw wide again. Her teeth flashing flames as she would move to bite again. This time, she aimed for the neck to try and crush the pokemon's spine.
"Fire Fang."
"Too bad, you are so ugly ...if not, I would make you my own pokemon."
/Oh dear!/ the Sandshrew squeaked as she peered over Bael to observe the human. She'd never really seen one this close before, but Aria looked much like how some of the Pokemon from the Steam Fields did when they accidentally wandered onto the mountain. Couldn't she just grow a thicker coat?
She'd turn her attention back to Bael and his mission. /Well, I haven't seen any old humans around here. All the humans are kinda young, and they come from the big loud steel-flying types. Are they just really noisy Skarmory?/ Well, she didn't really have the right words for human settlements. She'd pause her thinking as Bael mentioned the partner thing, and tilted her head to the side. Admittedly, the praise made her perk up a bit, and she'd thump her stumpy tail against the ground in a cheery manner. /Weeeeeell, I dooooo have some skills other 'shrews don't!/ she preened, smiling. /And... well, this place iiiiiiiiis kinda boring./ She'd arch her neck to look at Aria, and nervously scamper closed. /What's your human like? Is it nice? Does it give gifts?/ She'd stretch out her claws as if to say 'gimme!' in a childish manner, but the creature had a fair bit of potential, and was pretty charmed already.

The little Sewaddle's eyes widened as she watched the Murkrow dive. Oh dear! She hadn't expected an attack so suddenly! Why were all outsiders so war-hungry? Couldn't they just enjoy a nice snack of leaves and bark? With a wail, she'd try to climb out of the path of damage.
The bird's beak would slam deeply into the pokemon's back. He would tear into it for a moment before backing off to make sure it was dead. His wings fanned open as he caw happily as the feeling of fluids on his beak.
Yes, he love to hunt, and hunting pokemon weaker than him was the best. (3/10)
