{Leon : Hawaii : Village}

Leon's gunblade had gotten close to Louis' back before a sudden force brought it and Leon crashing down to the ground and hard as the Gravija field took it's effect on the gunblader. He could barely move and he tried a few times to rise back to his feet. However, he never even managed to raise his body a few inches before he crashed down again.

It seemed that someone else's efforts were more successful as suddenly everything stopped, the forces on his body returned to normal and he finally managed to rise to his feet again. As he regained his footing the darkness began to seep from the dark form he had just tried to strike down. When all of the darkness was dispersed, in it's place, stood one of the allies of the Earthlings. Leon recognized him as the one who had been riding the massive behemoth earlier.

Leon quickly made his way over to Yuffie, who had nearly landed on top of Anthony and carefully moved her away from any further danger. One look at Yuffie and the others told the tale better than any words could. They would need some serious healing, something which Leon could not do. His attention then turned to Louis once again, who after all of that seemed unscathed and rejuvenated.

"What was all that about?" the gunblader asked, trying to understand what all had just happened.

((Edited to make more sense! XD And YAY! Welcome back, Lavi!))

[Anthony ~.~ Hawaii ~.~ Village]

Try as he might, Anthony struggled to break free but found the immense pressure from the gravity field too great, though he kept trying, clenching his teeth and shutting his eyes as he used whatever strength he still had to attempt to break free. His efforts were fruitless. He rolled his head to the middle as his body relaxed, accepting he was trapped, and opened his eyes. It took a couple of seconds to register as the blur from his tightly shut eyes cleared up that Yuffie was headed straight at him, falling at an intense speed!

"Louis!" Anthony cried out, sounding panicked. "Stop this!" Again, the young man began to struggle, his body becoming tense once more as he attempted to break free, but the results were the same. This was it, no way out now. He prepared his body for the impact, imagining the worse possibly scenarios in his head. Anxiety and panic were beating at his chest from the inside as his clenched fists dug his fingernails deeper into his palm, causing them to bleed a little.

This was it. Yuffie's body was approaching fast--now just meer yards away. It was only a matter of seconds now. At the last possible moment, the knight turned his head to the side, shutting his eyes and screaming through bared teeth, preparing for the collision--

But nothing happened...

Slowly, Anthony turned his head, peeking through one open eye from behind his helmet's visor. Yuffie had stopped falling, suspended just inches above the young man, giving him a clear view of the wounds that masked her face and the cuts on her clothes and armor. Just the sight alone was overwhelming and caused mournfulness to well-up in the knight's throat.

It was then he felt the pressure let up and he was able to move again. He unsummoned his gauntlets, and in doing so reverted back into his regular outfit, then using his hands to back paddle, Anthony slid out from underneath Yuffie and took hold of the girl, much like one would cradle a child (an arm underneath and around her neck and shoulders for head support and another arm over and around her stomach, his hand resting on her lower back), just before the Gravija Field disappeared and the bodies all fell to the ground. Leon rushed over shortly afterward and the young man passed the girl off to him.

"I don't know...," Anthony responded, though unsure whether or not Leon was speaking to him. He craned his neck and looked over his shoulder at Louis, who, after all the damage he took and dealt, seemed perfectly unphased and rejuvenated. He felt the darkness the arcanist borrowed return to him and felt its taint's burden upon his heart once again. Though little, its absence made a significant difference in how the young man felt. Without bothering to face Leon, the knight continued speaking, "But I'd sure like to figure out how he did that," he said, his voice monotoned and distant, but with a hint of interest. "It was kinda... cool..."

[Kyla: Hawaii: ]

Leon’s unspoken wish was heard as a tiny blue summon scurried forward from between their legs and right up to the fallen warriors, her partner in tow clutching her book.

Kyla quickly closed the distance, not bothering to ask for a re-cap, still dressed in her matching teal colored ranger suit, minus the helmet.
It was still unclear if they were free of Ivan's control or not, but that seemed irrelevant.
It will be ok,” she said to herself. She still had the Lotus Shield she used before to contain them. Frankly she hoped she wouldn't need to - last time she tried to trap them all she did was hurt them somehow.

By the looks of their injuries, that was the last thing they needed.
Kyla moved from person to person as did Tyue, who used Healing Ruby on their most serious wounds first. Best get them out of danger, then worry about a total fixer-upper AFTER they clarified they were safe.

Kyla gently turned Axel over, and Tyue climbed up on his chest, she checked his head for any sign his brain had been smashed in somewhere as the creature’s jewel lit up and bathed his battered form in it’s warm light.

As her summon worked on him she moved onto the next person who happened to be- Blond? Cloud wasn’t brainwashed was he-
!!!
Kyla gasped, and her hand flinched back from the fallen form.
Ffter taking an overview and realized that there were 2 more people that she didn’t remember were among the ones Louis and quite literally ‘grounded’.
Someone who’s identity completely eluded her for a a movement, and then it hit her. She was terrible with names but his face, she recognized it. He was big and brutish- like he must've been in the army in his past life. Past life obviously because most importantly, she remembered he was one of the nobodies!

Then Kyla's gaze trailed back towards the blond who originally surprised-

ZIDANE!
But that’s imposs-
No it’s NOT! What was she thinking?!! Nothing seemed impossible right now , no here, no in this place and time! But STILL!
Kyla almost hesitantly, tenderly turned the prone genome over from his side, his head rolling limply around. IT was him alright. Kyla would never forget that face. There was something heartbreakingly surreal seeing your ’childhood hero’ completely humbled and more or less broken before you the first time you meet.

She felt something wet falling down her cheeks, but ignored it and she flipped open her book and looked for something to better speed their recovery- She found it.
Tyue had just finished healing Axel and moved on over to her when she saw her partner looking at her new 'trick' very seriously.
"Kyla no- that's not necessary yet, and their not near death form what I can see!" "But it can ease their pain." "I can heal them, just wait." she growled and climbed up on Zidane's front and repeated the processes.
Kyla still looked unconvinced, still she reluctantly left the side of the genome and proceeded onto Beatrix, since Leon had Yuffie. She closed her book but kept the page marked- then fished into her robes for her potions. Gently she lifted the soldiers head up after uncorking the bottle and tipped the contents gently between her parted lips.

[ Sora, Riku, Cloud, Seymour, Kyle, Beatrix, Yuffie : Hawaii : Village ]

When all was said and done, Sora couldn't help but release the breath he'd apparently been holding in a loud sigh. He'd stopped; he'd waited until the last second, but... he'd stopped. The Keyblade dispersed, and as Kyla ran up to start healing them (where had she come from?), Sora went up to the others (Yuffie and Lexaeus were luckily pretty close to one another) and cast an area-of-effect Cura spell. It probably wouldn't revive Yuffie from being passed out, but at least she would rest easy.

Lexaeus, though, was now at least half-healed, and since he was still conscious (like Beatrix), he would probably start to rise.

Cloud had rushed up to check on Yuffie after Leon got ahold of her. Due to Sora's healing, her wounds completely closed up; she didn't have quite as much HP as Lexaeus, so the Cura spell had completely healed her. He wiped a little of the blood off her face before turning his steely gaze toward Louis.

"I can't tell if the Darkness is still staining their hearts or not," Riku asked, standing over Lexaeus with his Keyblade at the side, ready just in case. "For those that have hearts, anyway. Lexaeus, I see you've come back like the others."

It was a neutral phrase in wording, but the tone obviously held suspicion. After all, they'd known he was under Ooze's control, but who's to say he wasn't working for some other Nobodies anyway?

Beatrix said nothing as Kyla helped her drink the potion. She didn't even try to lift herself up at first; she was simply too sore, too pained. Despite all that, however, she felt one thing overall- relief.

With her wounds slowly healing due to the potion, she finally began to sit up, holding her head with one of her hands. She glanced around at everyone, noticing quite a few more new faces. Had they called in reinforcements?

"Is he... is he dead?" she asked, and though her voice was calm and collected, as she refused to show any sign of emotion, the hesitation was all too evident.

"Yes, Ooze is dead," Kyle said, dismissing his spear and Ranger suit and appearing in his normal outfit again. "The battle's won. Are you going to be alright?"

"Yes, I will be fully functioning soon enough," she said, and despite herself, sighed with relief. So, Ooze was dead. She could tell the others like her were hurt, but alive all the same.

[Dawn ; Quina : Hawaii : Village]

Dawn remained silent as Anthony asked about her apology. Even if she was going to respond he ran off to help aid those who were trapped in the spell that Louis had created. She wanted to scream in fear for the safety of not only those who went in to save those who, apparently were under mind control by Ooze, but also wanted to scream in hopes of getting Louis to snap out of his current state. She wanted to do something, but just couldn't. She stood there frozen as everyone seemed to rush in. Though she was thinking it would end badly, Louis seemed to return to normal and released those who were in the void.

Dawn watched as Kyla, along with Sora, came in and started to heal those who were hurt. She slowly started to walk over to Yuffie, who she noticed, though she was healed, she was still not coming to as the others were. Believing she needed more healing magic, Dawn kneeled down by the ninja and touched her on the cheek as she summoned some of her healing wind, but found it made no change in the girl.

"Oh no, Yuffie..." Dawn said as her magic continued to show no change in Yuffie's condition.

'Damn it.' Dawn thought as she pulled her hand away, 'She needs to wake up. There's got to be something I could do.'

The Dancer stood up as and took a couple of steps away from Yuffie. She summoned her fans, that put her back into her blue ranger suit, without the helmet and before long she started to dance, though she was unsure it would do any good. It was the only thing she knew she could do.

She twirling in place with her fans moving around her. Almost as if she was mimicking the a sending. As she danced the air seemed to glitter in a way tears would when flying from Dawn's face. The glitter flew out away from Dawn and landed on Yuffie's motionless body. Yuffie seemed to almost shimmer as the unseen injuries that kept her from waking were healed.

When the dance was complete, Dawn feel to her knees and breathing heavily. Her own energy feeling drained after the completion of the new dance.

[Axel: Hawaii: Village]

….ohhh….God…that…huuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuurrrrrrrrrrttttssssssssssss….

WHY oh WHY was it that being heartless didn’t cut off the physical pain receptors?! Couldn’t it have been part of the package?! It wasn’t much to ask was it?

He couldn’t remember anything. How long had he been out?
The last thing he remembered was opting to sneek in and check out what that walking nasal congestion was up to- seeing him talking to Beatrix and Yuffie, who were currently under his control and then…
… and then.

Darkness. It surrounded him. Normally this wouldn’t bother him, what did he care, it was part of his life but- no suddenly pressure, inside his head. His mind felt like the walls were closing in on him and suddenly oblivion.
After long last he finally felt something, something warm.
For a split second he thought perhaps he’d finally – finally found- no, as his eyes opened to see the warm light of the illuminated jewel he registered the absence of the respective sensation of disappointment- it wasn’t his heart after all.

It was just a small, four legged, teal colored, long eared, jewel encrusted ….squirrel?

“What…the ..hell..?”

Oh! Wait, the gears were turning again, he knew this fluff ball. He saw it before back in the Land of Dragons. It belonged to the ‘Book Worm’, it was a summon.
He was awake, and starting to feel much better with every passing second he was exposed to that light it’s head was emitting. Slowly the Flurry of Dancing Flames sat up, and gave a groggy groan, his hand going to his neck and rubbing the soreness. He felt like he’d slammed head first into a solid wall from miles in the air! What the heck had he been doing?!

Just then the tiny creature stopped shining it’s light on him and hopping off his stomach where it’s been perched, it trotted off towards the girl it belonged with who was cradling someone else in the dirt. The wheels started turning faster now. Beatrix was across from him, Riku was talking and had a really grim look on his face.
Did someone die?

Oh great- worse than that. Lexaeus, since when did that Jar Head get here? He too looked like hell. He, the blond unknown, Beatrix, and Yuffie all seemed to be being treated just like he’d been. Everyone had a really sore look on their faces.

Dawn stepped away from her with a desperate looked, transformed , then started dancing. Her dance creating some kind of healing spell which left Dawn spent by the end. He creaked his neck and looked towards her before asking very hesitantly-
“Did I miss something?” he said.

Sayrike::Hawaii

She thought he was there, just for a split second; but before Sayrike could look further, the Darkness inside overtook whatever sensation she might have felt--magical or physical or otherwise. There was no way to describe how or what Sayrike felt. The closest approximation might have been sinking into a tar pit, every pore and orifice blackened and suffocating. She couldn't even move, couldn't summon the energy to breathe, couldn't think as her mind reeled.

"Of course I don't 'need' to continue this. I could have stopped after the first attempt. But where's the fun in that?"

And in the next moment, she felt herself falling backwards, consciousness slipping. The last thing she saw before her vision dimmed was his hand--whoever this was--clutching his swallow sword.

This presence...

And her world went dark.

[[Louis : Hawaii : Village]]

[[Cue: Gott Statue]]

The arcanist saw everything, or more, he saw most of what he didn't want to. He wasn't trapped like before when under Mateus control, no, this was different entirely. He was free, free to experience every ounce of pain, every moment of dread, all the torment and sadistic satisfaction that the darkness he absorbed had to offer. Glimpses, flashes, and emotions not his own flowed through Louis' being all while watching as what remained of his body acted on its own and wrecked havoc on those incapable of defending themselves against their power. It was like watching a movie through a cloudy tunnel vision, only there he was, he could feel the energy rushing through his veins, the pressure of the swallow sword against his palm, the flow of magic as his coursed to the end of his finger tips, but most of all, he could feel Ajora.

It was different, confusing, foreign. He could feel everything Ajora did, every emotion, every pain, every pleasure, all that he was, felt as though it was being branded into Louis. The darkness was overwhelming... but not impossible to comprehend. Louis found himself in a state of bewilderment. How was this happening? How could he think this way? Why wasn't he angry? How could he find himself in this situation and not care?

But Louis did care, but not in the way he thought he would. He was getting to know Ajora, whether he liked it or not. Not in personality, but his drive, his passion, the underlying emotions that kept him going. In a way, it all began to make sense for the arcanist. The "why" of things. And just like that, how Louis viewed Ajora... began to change.

And then what seemed like an eternity buried in the darkness, ended as fast as it began, Louis finding himself back in reality, blinded by darkness.

The seal on the arcanist's blindfold burned a deep purple for a moment, then shimmered out of existence. The folds of the cloth unraveled and slowly slid down the boy's face one by one till his closed eyes were revealed and the blindfold lay on his shoulders.

Hesitantly, he opened his eyes and viewed the world anew, color splashed onto figures previously only yellow shapes. His ears slowly took in all the commotion, everyone shuffling around and talking, finally his eyes drifted down to his feet where Sayrike lay unconscious. He knelt down next to her and looked her over, she was fine, a least physically as far as he could tell. His hand tentatively brushed her hair out of her face.

"Hey, someone make sure she's alright. I don't know anything about healing," he said, not even noticing/caring if anyone had even spoken to him since his recovery.

[ Ajora ; Celia ; Lettie : Castle Oblivion ]

The Corridor of Darkness opened up in front of the grand visage that was Castle Oblivion, and from it strolled Ajora, seemingly in high spirits. Though fully refreshed and full of energy, he still seemed a bit more jovial than one might expect.

Waiting at the entrance to the castle were Celia and Lettie in their usual outfits, acting as lookouts. When Ajora arrived, they merely waited for him to approach, and as he entered the castle, they followed him in, allowing the massive doors to close behind them.

Ajora had picked Castle Oblivion for a very specific reason. It was isolated, certainly, but Ajora might have picked the most isolated place in the universe and still be found and followed. Not here. In Castle Oblivion, there was no set path. It was a winding labyrinth, the map of which was known to no one- not even the Organization, who'd spent years here, had grasped the construct's strange defenses and mysteries.

Ajora made no claims to have done so, either. Quite the contrary: he wanted to get lost. So lost that the only way out would be a Corridor of Darkness. Someone could attempt to follow him, sure, but the odds of finding him in these forsaken corridors of memory were much, much slimmer than anywhere else in the universe. Even the Dark Margin would not conceal him properly.

Within minutes of traversing the many halls and doors, Ajora knew himself to be without a sense of direction.

He held out one hand, and Celia dropped a nice-sized crystal into his palm- the nethicite. It was jagged, unrefined, glowing a soft, pale-green light that gave no warmth; quite the opposite, the crystal seemed to absorb warmth from the vicinity, casting a chill through his arm.

But the Nethicite was not meant for decoration. The Nethicite was meant for power. Anyone with a sense of Light and Darkness could feel that, despite its glimmering light, it was pure, crystallized Darkness- a deceitful facade tricking the unknowing into comfort.

Ajora held the Nethicite in front of him, and it began to hover over his palm. Bringing both hands near the crystal, placing them on either side of it while it hovered between, he began to move it into his chest. At first, it simply made contact, pressing against him. However, energy began to surge between his hands and his chest began to pulsate, Darkness spreading outward from the center. The Nethicite sank into this Darkness, and within moments, was fused inside his being.

Ajora gasped, his eyes flashing from his normal brown, to crimson, to violet, before finally to a sinister gold- and then Darkness began to seep out of every pore, enveloping him in an obsidian cocoon of malevolent energy.

The metamorphosis had begun.

[Joe: Hawaii: Village]

Joe watched on, body tense for a fight...that wasn't apparently necessary. What the hell had he missed while he was up in his bird? By the looks of it, he had missed quite a bit.

Jesus f***ing Christ, am I not allowed to leave them alone without major stuff hitting the fan? Then again, I left and major s*** hit my own fan, so I'm not one to talk, I guess.

The male was tired, and staring at the field, he just...stood there, leg bouncing beneath him as his hand tapped at his thigh. He was antsy, and just sitting here didn't really seem to help him any.

{Bobbi .:. Hawaii .:. Village}

The Archer let out a sigh as Louis apparently returned to normal, and dropped to his knees to make sure the masked girl was alright after she had fainted. Bobbi slipped her arrow back into the quiver at her hip and slung Taulmaril over her shoulder. She didn't dismiss the bow, just in case something decided to happen. Being caught off-guard right now was a bad idea.

Bobbi ran the last few steps to the battlefield, examining everyone to see if there was something she could help out with. Kyla and her summon were casting Cures on everyone, so there were no open wounds, leaving her Frost Balm superfluous. That meant she wasn't good for medic duty, but she could at least stand sentry.

She was about to go set up some sort of perimeter watch (also known as pace around the clearing and make sure nothing was trying to sneak in) when Louis spoke up. Seeing as she was unoccupied, she walked over to the two and knelt beside them.

"Good to have you back," she said as she checked the girl for a pulse. She found it, steady, and her breathing didn't seem labored at all. It seemed to Bobbi she was fine, and she relayed this to Louis. "I don't think there's anything wrong with her, just strain, stress, et cetera. She'll be fine after some rest."

{Demyx .:. Hawaii .:. Ship >> Village}

Demyx was listening to the aliens all throughout the battle the Earth kids were doing. He'd found himself a nice corner to hide in, out of the way enough that no one dragged him out, but still perfect for eavesdropping. Apparently there was some back up that came in, and everything turned out just fine in the end. Although it was a very near thing from what he could tell...

Deciding now was a good time to put in an appearance, he snuck right on out of the ship, Sitar in hand, and headed back towards the village. He got close enough to see the destruction, and let out a long, low whistle.

"Damn. What didn't you guys break?" he asked no one in particular. Then he saw the people on the ground, and jumped back, Sitar at the ready. "Whoa! They on our side again?" He wasn't going to relax until he was sure he wasn't going to be attacked by former allies again.

[[Louis : Hawaii : Village]]

"Thanks," returned Louis with an empty voice, his eyes locked on his open palm soaking and stained in blood not his own.

Sayrike... the blood was hers, from his fingertips to his elbow he'd soaked his arm from the gash she received from one of the assassins at the beginning of the battle. He stared at blood saturated and encrusted cloth that pasted itself to his skin and it bewildered him to think, I don't feel anything.

He felt no remorse, no sense of worry, not even the tiniest bit of guilt, simply that she'd been cut and her blood was on his hands, "Excuse me," he said politely as he took his leave from the archer and stood. Louis wasted no time moving away from the scattered bodies as his skin took on the color of a ghost. Louis could feel his stomach turning over and he wanted to make sure he got away from the others in case his self control wasn't enough.

He moved over to a slab of cement that was the remains of a fallen building's wall and leaned against it, sliding to his back down it into a slouched sitting position. His hands opened and closed, gripping meekly before repeating the process over and over, Relax... re-lax... pull yourself together... it wasn't yours... you're not bleeding... nobody is bleeding anymore. Get a hold of yourself...

((Edit: OOC: FYI- Louis while in his right mind gets sick at the sight of his own blood, gratuitous amounts of gore, or certain bloody mental images, as is the case here.))

[Dawn : Hawaii : Village]

Dawn jumped slightly when she heard a voice to her left. She relaxed slightly when she realized it was Axel, who looked pretty beaten up. Slowly Dawn turned to look at him, trying to think of a good way to answer his question. She only knew vaguely what happened with Ooze. Heck, she didn't even know Axel was under mind control until she came on the scene and he was in the gravity spell with everyone else.

"Depends on what you want to know. 'faid my knowledge of the situation is rather limited," she said with a slight grin, which faded as she tilted her head to the side, "I do know you've taken quite a beating. How you feeling? I can help."

{Bobbi .:. Hawaii .:. Village}

"Louis?" Bobbi asked as the boy stood and walked away. She checked to make sure the girl in the mask wasn't otherwise injured, but it looked like everything was taken care of*. The Archer glanced behind herself for a moment to see if anyone needed her, but they all seemed somewhat distracted by making sure anyone who had been under Ooze's control was alright. It was hard to make anything out in the dark, but it didn't look like she was needed, so she followed Louis, and knelt beside him where he sat against the remainder of a wall.

"Are you okay?" she asked, then winced internally as she removed the stifling helmet of her Ranger suit.

No, of course he's not okay, stupid, she thought. He just spent God only knows how long as some sort of bloodthirsty monster. Why would he be okay?

((*Correct me if I'm wrong, but I'm pretty sure someone somewhere cured everyone and their mother at some point in time.))

[[Louis : Hawaii : Village]]

Louis breathed slowly, deep, excruciatingly slow breaths. His whole body felt like hundreds of mosquitoes were swarming over his skin as his cells searched for blood that just seemed to vanish from his body into some dimensional hole in his stomach somewhere.

Louis gave off a hardly convincing wave, "Mmm-Hmm, I'll be fine." Louis dropped his hand and proceeded to bury his forehead in his clean arm, "Go check on the others..."
