[Noelle ~ Hawaii ~ Sacrifice to the Lava Gods]

"Sounds fantastic," Noelle replied with grim enthusiasm at the plan, following after Ooze as best she could. Her Zord, being a four legged animal, actually made decent time and she'd reached a good position as soon as Kyle V. passed off the finishing touches to her and her fellow terramancer.

"Got it," She replied, remaining serious. Sensing that the end was close and victory was at hand, she couldn't keep up the focused demeanor and cracked a smile before shouting with a fist pump, "Go-go-gadget volcano plug!"

We got this.
'Give it all we have.'

The bear Zord pushed its massive paws into the earth of the volcano, forcing as much energy into moving it as possible. Both summon and summoner were trying to put forth the same effort to finally end this battle. There was too much at stake to fail now, so they had to guarantee that they wouldn't.

[Joe: Hawaii: Village]

The male arrived at the village, and there...was apparently dark tentacles, and then suddenly nothing. Well that was...what the hell WAS that? No, seriously, Joe was so confused on so many levels by that.

Oh, and apparently Ooze was knocked into the volcano. And the aerial battle was done.

What the hell was Joe doing here, then, if the fighting was pretty much done, when he could've tried tracking the replica?

"...Dammit."

[Anthony ~.~ Hawaii ~.~ Village]

"What is what thing?" Anthony asked, sounding a little spaced out. The knight didn't even bother to turn to face Dawn. His eyes were set on the battle above. He shook his head when he fully realized someone was talking to him, then turned to face the girl. "The thing? Oh, that thing!" he exclaimed, his eyes widening with the sudden epiphany. "That's, uh..." The young man paused to turn around and look at the monstrosity in the air. How was he going to explain this one?

"That's, uh... Louis," he finally said. "But a 'swallowed up by a Sergeant Heartless, but more epic looking, with cool armor and wicked looking sword' Louis." Anthony knew what he just said made little to no sense, but he couldn't really make heads or tails out of the situation either. "He totally went ape feces and sucked up all the darkness around him. Next thing I know, people were being sucked into a single point, things are blowing up, and there's tentacle rape everywhere!"

Anthony turned back to face Dawn, a crazed look on his face. "And now they're in the sky and I have no idea what's going on 'cause all I can see are random blinking red lights!" The knight cleared his throat and took in a deep breath, slowly exhaling it, when he realized he was being a bit too dramatic. "I'm sorry... it's been a long day."

[Dawn : Hawaii : Village]

Dawn stared at Anthony as he rambled on. Her eyes drifted into the sky as she watched Louis. She listened to Anthony's story as to what happened. It didn't cease to amaze her the power that Louis seemed to possess over the darkness and what he could do with it. He saved her from Ajora's seal with that same darkness. Now he seemed to be a warrior of the darkness destroying everything in his path. It was capable of so many things. It both made her feel hope and terror at the same time.

'I wonder...' she thought briefly, as she watched the scene before her. Her eyes soon drifted back to Anthony who was still freaking out. She gave him a small comforting smile. as she pat his shoulder.

"Well I believe the battling in the sky is coming to a close soon. They've taken care of the airships. Ooze is the last one remaining...and he just got pushed into the volcano..." she finished as the giant fell in.

She paused as he mentioned about how the day had been. She started to feel for him as she remembered how he came flying in on their doorstep and randomly thrown into the chaos of the group she too joined not even a day before him. Dawn could see how he had every right to be freaking out.

"I know..." she smiled once more, this time with a hint of regret in her eyes before she turned to look up at the sky, "I'm sorry too..."

[ Matt :-: Hawaii :-: Village ]

As Matt finished belting out a face melter, his viewwindow clacked shut and he had to steady himself. 'Eee, that took a bit more out of me than I thought it would,' he thought to himself, feeling a bit light headed from the amount of magic he just used. He shook his head trying to sort himself straight, then looked at the clustered group to see his results.

'Okay, I think that took more out of me than I thought, because I doubt I'm seeing gigantic tentacles holding moaning people. If I just close my eyes, I'm sure it'll all go away.' Matt squeezed his eyes shut and took a deep breath before reopening them. Sure enough, the tentacles were gone and so was the dark knight.

"Well then, everything went better than expected," he said, not letting that vision of... weird evil get to him. Then he felt a rumble emanating from the volcano and stiffened. "WhydidIhavetosaythevolcanowasgoingtoeruptwe'reallgoingtodiewhyMurphy'slawwhyyyyy," was all he could say, unaware that the volcano was in the process of being plugged.

[ Kyle, Rangers : Hawaii : Volcano Top -> Village ]

As earthen slabs stretched across the caldera, covering it up from all sides, the volcanic activity seemed only to grow. With more and more closure came more and more pressure inside, and with the energies all being catalyzed by each other, it seemed like it would only be a matter of seconds before the eruption. When the crater was completely covered and the light from within blocked out, the tremors ascended to terrible quakes...

And then, as the ground began to vibrate so violently they could hear it even down in the village, it all stopped.

"The volcano- it's stabilizing!" Pleakley shouted over the intercom for the Zords to hear. He was obviously over-joyed, because the image of him on the screen showed the one-eyed alien bouncing up and down and dancing. "I can't believe it! The energy eruptions actually managed to cancel each other out! That shouldn't even be possible!"

"Well, it was, so let's celebrate!" Kimberly, the Pink Ranger, exclaimed as the Ninja Thunderzord started to get to its feet.

"We still have some issues on the ground," Kichi said, looking toward the village- the Negawaves were skyrocketing. Not quite as high as Ooze's outburst earlier, but pretty high for someone not in a Zord. "You guys go check on Zordon, we can handle the rest!"

"Holy cow, you're right! Come on, guys, let's go!" Tommy said, a sense of sudden urgency in his voice as the Megazord took flight over the volcano and into Angel Grove.

Nodding, Kyle opened up a com-link to the other Zords, grinning. "Awesome work, guys. We just kind of saved an entire island. I'd say that's an accomplishment, right?"

The Divine Dragon Zord soared over the village as he spoke, and when he was just over the group below (but not in the way of whatever that odd red flash was- they were moving to fast and were too small to identify), the Zord disintegrated in a flash of light, leaving him falling the rest of the way to the ground.

[ Sora, Riku, Cloud, Seymour, Kyle : Hawaii : Village ]

Sora recoiled slightly, both at Louis' response and the explosion. Was Louis so far gone into the Darkness he couldn't give any mercy?

"We're trying to save them, right?" Sora asked in a rather astounded tone as the tendrils erupted, and when he got no response, he almost ran up to Louis to get his attention- only for everyone to just disappear.

"He's too far gone," Riku stated, glaring up into the sky. He knew very well exactly what Louis was feeling (or thought he knew, anyway). "He won't listen or stop until..."

"Until they're broken," Cloud said, drawing his Buster Blade and keeping it at the ready, his eyes dancing about as if he could actually see what was going on.

A few feet away, near Seymour and Sayrike, Kyle landed in his green-and-gold Ranger suit, though the helmet was absent as he looked around. "Ooze is done for- the others should be free of his control now... where are they?"

There was a low, almost weak tone in his voice when he asked- as if he knew, but was hoping he was wrong.

"Louis seems to be taking care of them," Seymour asked, beginning to fade out of his Natus form; the Mortibody also began to evaporate into pyreflies.

"But- if they're free from his control-!" Sora exclaimed, only to look skyward.

The red flash was still moving rapidly to-and-fro.

[Dani :: Hawaii :: Sky > Village]

Dani smirked as Ooze fell into the Volcano. “At least it is finally over up here Leviathan.”Dani thought to herself

“Yep,” Leviathan thought “We can finally rest a little. We need to get out of the air anyway.”

“Alright.” Dani thought as her Zord flew low to the ground near the village before it faded like the other Zords did. She, as graceful as she could, landed on her feet before wobbling a little from the damage she received from her Zord. “That could’ve gone better.” She thought before she walked a tiny bit forward and found Bobbi.

“You alright Bobbi?” Dani said to the archer, “At least we managed to make it through the air fight and got rid of Ooze together….right?”

[ Louis : Hawaii : Battlefield ]

When Ooze was destroyed, there seemed to be little change in the events unfolding above the group. There was one difference though: below, the group would begin to hear yelps, shouts, and groans of pain and shock coming from above.

About this time, the red flash finally stopped moving back and forth in the air, and instead began to descend rapidly, like a falling crimson star or meteor. The blaze of energy around Louis' twisted armored form dissipated the moment he landed on one knee, knelt over to cushion the fall. The blood-red swallow blade remained in his right hand as he stood, rolling his shoulders back. The others remained above, still falling...

But not for long.

Without waiting for anyone to come up to him (and it was pretty easy to see Sora being held back by Riku), he glanced up into the sky and held up his blade above his head, both hands on the handle. Slowly, the blade was once again enveloped in an aura of crimson energy, and the moment Louis let go of it, it began to spin above him. It rotated slowly at first, but the further Louis' hands drew away from its handle and out to his sides, the faster it spun.

When his arms were straight out from his shoulders, the blade was nothing more than a disc-shaped blur- and immediately a purplish-white and black burst of energy burst from Louis' body, covering at least 15 feet of ground in any direction with the magic light. It had the same hues and appearance as the Gravija Dome from a few moments before, only instead of having any noticeable form, it simply covered the ground like a blanket of mana.

Only hostiles were pulled in by large Gravija Field-- and the only hostiles were in the sky, already falling at what would normally be maximum velocity for free fall. Now, however, they were being pulled down by a force magnitudes higher than normal gravity. From the height they'd started falling, and including the intense damage they'd already taken from the battle before and Louis' Limit barrage, it would take nothing short of a miracle, a change of heart, or intervention for them to survive.

{Auron, Leon : Hawaii : Village}

All around chaos ensued as Auron was attacked by Beatrix and then hit by the Ultima Spell that nearly finished off the Unsent Samurai. However, after a series of several attacks followed by a powerful healing spell, he was able to rise to his feet yet again. He watched intently, analyzing the situation as the dark soldier dealt with the remaining opponents and as Ooze was knocked into the volcano. He listened to Anthony's words as the knight spoke to one of the other Earthlings regarding who the one surrounded by darkness was.

The guardian was forced to plant his blade into the ground to prevent from collapsing as the ground shook furiously as the volcano seemed to reach it's inevitable eruption point. Just as it seemed it was all over it all stopped, and judging by the sounds of pain coming from those trapped above they were back to their senses.

Leon had been in the exact same situation as Auron though he too had finally recovered and watched as his comrades were now being injured by this warrior who was clearly surrounded by darkness. He raised his gunblade, as if determined to stop the soldier from hurting them anymore and was just about to charge in when...

"Wait! That is no enemy. Though it seems as though he has lost control," Auron stated, his attention locked on those above.

"What are we supposed to do then, just let him kill them?" Leon asked, his thoughts clearly on his comrades, in particular Yuffie who was still his friend.

"Do as you will, just try not to kill him in the process," the samurai replied.

Leon nodded his head in understanding and then turned his attention to Louis.

"That's enough! They're no longer under his control!" he shouted, trying to dissuade the man from continuing any longer.

Without waiting for any kind of reaction he charged forward, aiming for a strike at Louis' back. However, he was not putting full force into the attack. His objective was to stun or to knock the young man out.

Sayrike::Hawaii::Battlefield

Suddenly being thrown into a portal of darkness again was just as disorienting as the first time. Landing on her knees by Seymour, Sayrike could only stare agape as Louis took the blows that would have likely knocked her unconscious, if not worse. "LOUIS!" she cried out, stumbling forward but failing to regain her balance. No...what is he doing?! That...that idiot! She was too furious at his self-sacrifice to let any tears surface, her body merely trembling in either guilt, anger, or the rumblings of the volcano---she couldn't be sure which one it was. She was NOT important enough to die for. He was stupid, a stupid, self-centered man who felt he couldn't cut it as a protector for the group, so he went and did the stupidest thing possible and saved her life like some fool because if he could save her then he at least fulfilled some kind of purpose.

Sayrike knelt there on the ground, her head down, eyes squeezed closed as she desperately and viciously clenched her jaw shut to keep from screaming obscenities at him. A flash of light paired with a shot of darkness struck the ground beside her. She slowly stood up, looking into the raining bolts of lightning as they fell across the battlefield. The pent up emotion faded away as she took in everything, the falling debris and the yells and cries of pain and the dogfights all moving in slow motion to her. As her eyes rested upon Louis, Sayrike stood there and watched listlessly as Darkness crept over his body like a disease.

No...Please don't.
Why? Why are you doing this?

Her feet began moving on their own towards Louis--or, what used to be him--and away from the protection of Seymour, her legs increasing their speed with each step. But as the gravity spell was activated, Sayrike had to pause as more debris and the enemies themselves flew past her and into the growing sphere of distorted space. Louis continued his attack, and again Sayrike could only stand and watched as he dashed across in the air from one portal of darkness to the next, a black and crimson blur. He finally landed again, and suddenly Sayrike found herself sprinting towards him. "Louis!" she desperately yelled. "Stop! That's enough!" She paused again as the blanket of energy shot out of his whirling blade, but only for a split second. She ran, not caring what happened to her. She needed to stop this--not only to save those caught above, but also Louis himself. Sayrike crashed into his blackened, unrecognizable form. But, she knew it was him; she felt his presence, somewhere, buried, tainted, twisted. It wasn't so much of a magical awareness of him, but an innate one. She clenched her fists, fingernails embedding themselves in her palms, and she rested her head against his body, fighting back the raw emotion. "Louis...please..." she whispered against him. Sayrike's body ached in frustration, wishing she could dive into his mind to reach him. She had no idea if she could, but she sent her magic into him anyway to try and see if she could establish a connection. Louis...you've done it. You've saved everyone. You don't need to continue this... Sayrike could only hope that he could hear her. (She was so focused that she didn't even see Leon's rush toward Louis in an attempt to knock some sense into him.)

[Anthony ~.~ Hawaii ~.~ Village]

"Ooze? Holy cow, Ooze!" With all the commotion on the ground, Anthony had near forgotten about the purple-skined villain. His attention darted in the direction of the volcano just as Ooze's burial was was coming to an end. He felt the tremors caused by the inescapable energy building up within the volcano, somewhat wobbling from the quakes. Once the ground stopped rumbling and the volcano stabilized, the knight sighed in relief. "Phew... I'm glad that's over with," he thought just as Kyle landed beside Seymour and Sayrike.

The young man turned to Dawn once more and raised a questionable brow at the girl, obviously confused about her apology. "Sorry?" he repeated, taken back. "What'cha got to be sorry for, missy? It's not like you did anything wrong." He smiled and hesitantly patted the girl's head as he felt himself slowly reverting back to his usual care-free and silly attitude.

Though it was no time to lower his guard as Louis came falling down, landing on one knee behind the knight. Once again, Anthony turned around, immediately feeling the same mix of emotions from before: fear and awe. The young man rose his arms to shield his eyes from the sudden display of purplish-white and black colors shone from the rapidly spinning blade. When the light dimmed a bit, Anthony recognized the colors from the gravity dome Louis had used on the enemies earlier.

"Oh no...," he thought as he quickly tilted his head back and his eyes skyward, spotting the free falling bodies. "What to do, what to do!" he thought as his mind raced for ideas. "I know Yuffie is a good guy--er... good girl. A person on the side of good. Lexaeus is evil. So is Axel. Or is Axel good? He did do that whole... self-sacrifice thing... but obviously he's un-sacrificed, so he's evil. But even if they are evil, do they deserve to suffer this much? What about the other two? Who are th--THERE'S NO TIME FOR THIS!"

As Leon rushed in for an attack, Anthony used this opportunity to spring into action. He ran forward and leaped into the air towards the falling bodies, then launched both of his chains towards Yuffie and Axel, in hopes of wrapping them around their bodies and pulling them into himself; however, things changed rather quickly as Louis' gravity spell suddenly had took effect on the knight, who came crashing down with a loud thud.

[[ Anthony, the only real correction would be in your first paragraph- how could you possibly see him getting pushed in when two of the people who pushed him, Bobbi and Kyle, were already back in the group? xDDD ]]

[ Louis : Hawaii : Battlefield ]

'Louis' had, at first, merely gazed up into the air at the poor souls falling. Even with his Heartless vision, they were nearly impossible to keep track of-- after all, having reached maximum falling velocity, compounded by the Gravija Field, they were going faster than 135 miles per hour- possibly even double that.. The lights of the hearts, brightened by Ooze's disappearance, were naught but blurs.

And then the idiots decided to act up.

Leon shouted from behind him, causing him to turn his head to glance over his shoulder as he rushed forward. Before Leon could reach him (although he came pretty close), the Gravija Field came into effect, and the massive increase in gravity literally brought the Gunblader's entire body flat onto the ground, holding him there with all the power that such high magic [ 18 MS ] could do against his resistance.

As Sayrike's arms wrapped around him, he seemed to do... nothing. Instead, he looked over her to gaze at Anthony, who was foolishly dashing in to try and save those falling. How amusing. Did he not understand basic movement principles? The people overhead were falling so fast they couldn't even be seen properly, and he was going to land under them.

Fine. Let him.

The moment Anthony entered the field and twisted his body up to throw the chains into the air, the Gravija Field kicked in once again and his body was brought with a painful 'thud' down onto the hard ground, the chains having not even reached their targets due to the gravity pulling them straight down. Facing upward, Anthony would get a chance to see just how fast they were falling- and Yuffie was going to land directly on him.

Nearing the last moment, Sayrike would have felt her connection take effect- and as a result, she would have felt every ounce of Darkness inside him. It would have felt revolting, as her heart felt such taint, such stain beyond what her Light could imagine- or stand. She would know immediately that her words fell not on deaf ears, but on the ears of a sadistic man who only received amusement from them.

And even if she tried to cut the connection, she couldn't. 'Louis' returned the connection in full, letting her grasp the weight of the Darkness inside him before sending a simple message in return:

"Of course I don't 'need' to continue this. I could have stopped after the first attempt. But where's the fun in that?"

The connection immediately cut off- and simultaneously, the whirling blade above him, the disc-shaped blur, came to a sudden halt. As a result, the falling victims stopped in mid-air, mere feet off the ground (and in Anthony's case, mere inches away). Leon and Anthony would have felt the gravity's pressure let up considerably, bringing them back to normal.

"Death... is too sweet a mercy."

And everyone would have gotten a good look at those hovering, finally seeing the damage done. Large bruises, gashes through clothing and armor alike, and most of them were passed out, with agonized expressions still etched into their faces. Only Beatrix and Lexaeus remained awake, too stern to show such a weakness, but they were still beaten and battered.

Louis used one hand to push Sayrike away (possibly pushing her down if she didn't catch herself) and the other to lightly wave through the air. The Gravija Field disappeared entirely, allowing them to fall to the ground, and the swallow blade flew into his hand, resting there without use.

And then, Darkness began to seep from him, enveloping the Crimson Knight like a thick cocoon. He was out of sight for a few moments; the only visible parts of him were the beady, crimson eyes, which soon changed to a typical beady-yellow before disappearing entirely. The Darkness gently pulsed from his body, returning to its previous owners, and the large portion (likely from the Behemoth) that was left simply seemed to seep into the ground, forming a swirling pool of Darkness before disappearing entirely...

Leaving Louis, completely (and mysteriously) rejuvenated and in spotless health. He would even feel that his energy was completely restored, the mana well filled to the brim.

{Bobbi .:. Hawaii .:. Village}

Bobbi’s eyes darted back and forth, latching on to each flash of red light in the sky, but with the sealing of Ooze in the volcano and the tremors it caused, she had to drop to one knee to avoid falling over.

I am so done with falling for the week, she thought, clenching her jaw against the frightened gasp trying to come out. When the trembling was done, she decided to just stay there for now. She had a good view of the battle ground from here, as well as a clear shot to pretty much anything in the clearing. She couldn’t have found a better location if she’d planned it, really. Not that she could do much, and the sounds of pain coming from above made her wish she were able to shoot something. Well, she could shoot something, but it wouldn't be very effective to fire at a tree.

She heard Dani’s exclamation, and waved a hand to indicate she was alright, though she didn’t say anything. She didn’t really get a chance, since that was when the thing she’d seen earlier decided to land back on the ground. She heard shouting, saw Leon rush the creature, and saw a girl she didn’t know running towards it, calling it “Louis.”

That’s Louis?! Bobbi thought, remembering the “Ivalician” who had joined them in Halloween Town and fought Oogie Boogie along side them. Something was way, way wrong here. She remembered feeling slightly off about Louis, but her feelings had never indicated anything so completely wrong as to warrant this. The aura, the magic, the falling bodies, none of it added up. The only twinges she’d really felt around Louis was the general sense that he was lying or hiding something, not that he was evil!

She watched the situation unfold before her, still trying to wrap her exhausted mind around everything. Axel, Beatrix, and Yuffie she knew needed to be contained, but not... not brutally slaughtered like this! With Ooze now a part of the volcano's magma, they should be in full control of themselves again. As the waves of darkness flew out of Louis and back to their hosts, she shoved herself to her feet, arrow still nocked on the bowstring, and paced into the clearing of the battle, eyes trained on the Ivalician.

“Please for the love of God don’t give me a reason to shoot you,” she muttered under her breath. She kept glancing to the prone figures on the ground, praying for movement, for any signs of life.

((VAGUE CATCH UP POST @n@ I'm backkkkk~!!! I've totally been around the whole time *gets shot*))

[Jenny :: Hawaii :: Village]

Jenny could feel her energy waning throughout the fight but thankfully, her and Siren were able to knock out their share of heartless. Of course, it wasn't accomplished without the both of them having to get used to the ethereal songstress becoming a large mechanical griffin. Jenny released a silent yet triumphant huzzah as Ooze fell into the volcano, hopefully, the last time they or anyone would have to lay eyes on him; though in a world brimming with magic, that was hard to say.

Siren vanished around her, the job having been completed and Jenny panicked for a second before she realized that her ranger suit brought her safely back to solid ground. She was about to let out a sigh of relief before something in her mind stopped her short. A perilous song echoed in her mind painfully and she followed the gaze of all her companions to one single point. "Louis..." There was something about the song that wasn't his, but was so familiar to her. A song that had left an impression on her before, something she could not pinpoint that exact second in time. The song is twisting itself, I don't understand it...

"Nothing but a troublemaker in the end~"

Jenny's eyes narrowed at Siren's remark. She knew that her summon didn't trust the Ivalician but still, he was part of their group now. The mage stood a little ways behind the frost archer watching, perplexed and worried, as the darkness seemed to drain itself from his body outwards. As the darkness left, the song seemed to settle itself into Louis' regular song but something continued to tug at Jenny's mind. What had weaved itself into the very fabric of his heartsong? She wanted to venture closer, to help but Siren's sharp and wary voice stopped her short.

((Ignore this crummy post which will probably be subject to a bunch of edits. I crammed my head with a bunch of information, I am bound to miss something big o.o;; Also ignore my horrid sketch for a ranger outfit.)) ((Edited 7/15))
