[Azrael; Joe: Hawaii: Sky above Village]

"...THAT SUNNUVABITCH!" Azrael, enraged at the trolling, dove after Kyle, only to get sent flying once again by his 'original' as Joe crashed into him once again. "GRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA
AAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
HHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH
HHHHHHHHHHHH!"

Azrael and Joe's Zords started to scuffle, claws, wind, and metal feathers flying at each other as the paint and metal chipped and bent and opened. While it was night, it was practically invisible to the naked eye, but those with scanners could probably read the 'Negawaves' of darkness that seemed to surround Azrael, the streams of black, purple, red, and green of pure darkness radiating from him in swirls around his fight...and also notice that they swirled around Joe, too.

This fight was pure and utter wrath, attracting the darkness to the two as their aerial fight kept up with it's ferocity.

[Dawn : Hawaii : Sky above Village]

Dawn was working to avoid the endless barrage of blasts, while trying to keep up with the conversation over the com. At first she couldn't believe that Kyle was asking Azrael, Joe's replica, for assistance. When the replica refused then tried to go after Kyle, then pushed back by Joe. Dawn than found out the true reason Kyle called out Azrael. She rolled her eyes as Kyle broadcasted the victory over the video link with a dance.

"Down boy..." Dawn said to Kyle as she watched Joe and Azrael exchange blows. At the moment she was torn between trying to assist Joe or going after one of the Ifrits that were shooting at them, "Any ideas of a plan?" Dawn asked Kyle hoping for some sort of direction as to what she should do.

[Kyla: Hawaii: Air above Village]

((edited more))

Yes! Now they had their chance and the Falcon Zord took it! But just as quickly as things began to sway to their favor, all hell broke loose!
The Carbuncle-bike-Zord was sent spiraling away through the air, and Kyla was almost shrieking in fright, trying to regain control. Ivans voice boomed dangerously in her ears and seemingly through her whole being as his body turned darker then pitch.

‘Destroy the planet?! But how?!’

~ Kyla look out!!~

The Shiva’s multi-cannons pummeled her craft mercilessly, and though the brunt of the blow was lessened thanks to having cast the buff before, its tiny shape could only take so much damage- it was sent into a tailspin plummet.

Kyla struggled with the controls, her hands flying across the screen desperately trying to relay power to the engines and keep it flying, but the main propulsion was hit. It was utter chaos around her as she struggled to avoid most of the enemies. And now the replicas were entering the fray. Joe was locked in combat with his evil duplicate.
Kyle’s face came over the monitor and told everyone to let the enemy ship have it now that the shields were down. Why not?

She could see it, and though her Zord couldn’t do much for it- she could still attack even if she wasn't flyign very well.

The targeting system was still working. With her controls all fried she was going to have to land this thing or crash- might as well make the most of what firepower she had left while she was airborn
The targeting fixated on the ship and she launched her strongest attack.
[ Birn Strike Lvl 3!!]
The large bird shaped attack fired from the hull of the bikes front before it continued in its tail spin towards the city below.
But just as the giant Birn Strike soared towards it's target- an Ebony tinted version of the same attack came out of left field and the two collided in mid air canceling each other out!

‘..What?! But who-!

But that wasn't all! To add insult to injury, something that looked like a hailstorm of large metal spikes- beams of pointed jagged debris cam flying right up from below aiming for the hull!!
Kyla's zord was pierced like a pincushion! The spikes ramming right through one side of the bike to the other, yet all narrowly missing the pilot within by mere inches!
Who ever launched those things knew EXACTLY what they were doing! Kyla's body was so obstructed by the large metal planks running through the cockpit that she couldn't draw onto the controls cause her arms were pinned! The Carbuncle Zord was finished- and it fell from the sky like a stone!

As it neared the ground the Zord disintegrated around her. Fragments flaking off and returning to useless pages as the bulk of mana that held it’s form together was lost and it’s cockpit dematerialized around its pilot. Kyla’s body could be seen freefalling towards the ground, and as the village zoom up towards her she felt Carbuncles influence slow her fall but she still fell.

~ Don’t worry Kyla I got you!~ she heard Tyue say in the back of her mind, but it wasn’t her power that suddenly righted the artist up and held her aloft a second later.
Kyla felt a arms wrap around her waist and turn her around to face the person who supposedly saved her.

“I expected more of a fight from you.” Kai said with a look of obvious disappointment.

Kyla started back at her shocked, confused and nervous.

The two of them floated in the air in mirrored Ranger Suits, while the one in the darker teal colored suit cast Flight of Blades around them.
“We haven’t much time obviously, so I'll make this quick.” And she grabbed her originals arm which held the sketchbook.

[Noelle ~ Hawaii ~ Village]

Noelle tried her best to keep control of her Zord as she was pushed back by Ooze's Dark Pulse. The giant bear dug its claws into the ground while on all fours and eventually came to a halt. Before she could recover from that she was hit with Ifrit's blast, sending the Zord careening to the side, rolling over itself for some time. It took the agromancer a moment to regain her bearings, all the alarms going off bringing her to realize what had happened. She coughed and shook her head, trying to ignore the images of Kyle on her screen (What the hell is that boy doing?).

"Titan! Are you okay?" She shouted within her Zord, trying to address all the alarms and flashing lights on her screens.

'It's nothing,' Her summon growled, sounding pained, 'Just get a move on so we can end this, human.

"Got it."

The small blonde tried to put tabs on everything, see where they were at. Things were starting to turn in their favor, but only just. Ooze was furious and taking things up a notch. Undeterred due to the severity of the situation, Noelle's Zord got back to its feet then rose up on its hind legs.

"Titan, you do your thing, I'll do mine."
"Don't let me show you up."
"Not a chance."

Two pillars of stone appeared in front of the bear Zord, each with vines growing rapidly up the sides. The vines grew to the tops of the pillars then strung themselves in between, readying the slingshot. A third article of stone rose from the ground, this one being shaped like Noelle's spear, which Titan put into the slingshot and pulled back on. There were no longer any color indicators on Ooze to show his weak spots, she wasn't even sure if those weak spots still existed, but she was trying for it anyway. Aiming for where she thought the center of his chest was, she directed Titan to stretch the vines back as far as he could, then release them, sending the stone spear straight for Ooze.

[Artemis .:. Elleon ~ Hawaii ~ Village]

Elleon could hear Kyle's taunts to Azrael and knew what the reaction would be. She shook her head and clicked her tongue, standing up from her position on a rooftop on the outskirts of the village.

"Looks like I might as well jump in, I've got nothing better to do." She said to Artemis, who remained crouched silently beside her. "You too, hun. You've been working hard, go and have some fun."

Artemis watched as her creator slipped away into a dark portal, most likely stopping by the beach for some sand. The archer jumped from the roof, flipping twice before landing without a sound. Following the sounds of the battle against Terra, Artemis kept to the shadows, using Ink to conceal herself in the ones that were too small. Soon she came upon the area where the battle was happening, hiding in the shadows of a ruined building. She evaluated the targets, picking out a few. The mage was powerful and would have been her first choice if she knew he wouldn't notice her shot, but there was a possibility he could find her. Other than that there was the boy with the gauntlets and the boy on the behemoth who appeared to be causing some trouble. Artemis summoned her bow and a glass arrow, drawing back and aiming for Anthony first. All her attention moved to him as her bird-like eyes tracked his movement. Locking in on the target's chest she released the arrow. Without even waiting for a confirmed hit, she summoned another arrow, drew it back, took aim for Louis' chest with some anticipation of movement and let the glass arrow fly.

((I apologize for the long post. D: My summon woke up! It couldn't be avoided.))

[Anthony ~.~ Hawaii ~.~ Village]

Suddenly! Cannon fire! Everywhere!

Anthony attempted his best to try and avoid the sudden barrage of energy beaming down at the group on the ground, performing an awkward, inconsistent dance of some sort with his arms flailing about and his body curving around and away from the beams, desperately trying to keep himself from toppling over as he allowed his shift in body weight to clumsily lead his steps.

However, as smooth as his moves were, he couldn't dodge them all. A blast from one of the beams forced the young man airborne, pushing him back a good 10 feet or so. A bit dazed, the knight slowly started to rise to his feet, staring around the battlefield as he tried to gather himself. It was about that time when the volcano began to shake violently.

Distracted by the volcano, Anthony had no time to respond (not that he would've been able to given the speed at which the attackers moved in) to the two blurs that attacked his upper and lower back. The young man fell to his knees, reaching for his wounds (his left hand reaching for his lower back and his right hand his upper back).

"Could this get any worse?!" the knight cried, wincing from the wounds he had sustained thus far. It was then when Terra set off her Ultima spell. The young man watched as the energy began to spread out in a dome-like shape, encasing the battlefield. "Apparently it could," he said just as his body was engulfed by the spell.

"IT BURNS!" Anthony cried as he toppled forward, face first into the ground. He laid there for a bit, not wanting to move out of fear of being attacked once more. "Maybe it could get worse...," he moaned, pushing himself back up onto his feet, wincing as his body ached and burned. "But at least NOW things won't get any worse..."

Jay-Kay... it can...

A glass arrow pierced through the young man between his shoulder and upper, right side of his chest. Fortunately, given his instability, the knight had swayed slightly to his left and unknowing avoided certain death. "I gotta... stop saying... that...," Anthony panted as he fell to a knee. "Medic, please..." With that, he fell forward to the ground, slowly fighting the overwhelming urge to lose consciousness.

As he laid there, Anthony began to hear snorting and neighing and the clopping of hooves once again, much like he had heard earlier right before being teleported to Hawaii. Before him, a horned knight with a large sword riding a horse manifested himself only for the young man to see. At first, Anthony thought the manifestation was due to his numerous injuries, but little did he know something within him finally awoke.

"My name is Odin," said the horned knight with his deep and proper voice, much like a character from Lord of the Rings. "I have come to offer my assistance."
"Assistance... right," replied the young man. "I could sure use some help."
"All you need is ask, brother."

Anthony learned: Thunder, Lightning Pummel, Chain Lightning, and Lightning Coat.

Suddenly, as the manifestation faded away, Anthony's eyes began to glow a thick white color and his body, now filled with a burst of new found energy, was covered in spikes of electricity. The young man jumped to his feet and a pillar of lightning shot out of his body and into the sky, which could be seen for miles. Channeling his new power, a summoning circle appeared beneath his feet and out rode Odin on his mighty steed.

The pillar of electricity slowly diminished, revealing a very upset Anthony standing in a small crater, random spikes of electricity flashing around his body. The summon and the human locked eyes, nodding at each other as if they knew what the other was thinking. Simultaneously, they both shouted, "Thunderfall," and immediately the battlefield was covered in bolts of lightning raining from the sky. The attack was so massive that it struck all the enemies on the field, even those who Anthony couldn't see.

Once the attack was over, Odin faded away, leaving the Earthling without any magic strength left to spare.

((Kyle said I could do that attack... so... o.o; Yeah... I'm not cheating. I'm breaking my limit, as Kyle put it, haha!))

[John.:Hawaii:.Village]

[Cue: Alternative]

Ooze's yellow eyes burned through John as he stared solemnly at the great power of the demon. His alarms were going ballistic with the sheer amount of darkness erupting from the villain, but he heard none of it. He simply stared at him and knew that what stood before him was working for the monster that was keeping him from eternal happiness. On countless occasions, he would imagine the reoccurring deaths of his family time and time again, and could not even fathom how gruesome the death of his lover had been. Over and over and over again her image would haunt him like a ghostly apparition in placing herself in his dreams and in the everyday tasks that he did. He couldn't stop seeing her face because he didn't want to stop, and it only hurt him to try and attain what he thought was unattainable... but maybe.

Maybe these last series of events were the ones for him to save his life. If he was in a coma then if he succeeded, he would live. For purgatory he would go to heaven... if it was life, then things would go back to normal. Happiness could be achieved. He could live...

"GO IXI, F*** HIS FACE!!!" John screamed hoarsely. Tears began to well up in his eyes as the Unicorn Zord dug all of it's four legs deep into the ground. Ixion lowered it's horn to be pointed at the same point the earth spear would hit. The horn began to glow radiant in an electric blue fashion and the earth around the Zord began to shake uncontrollably. "YAAAAAA!"

When all hell seemed to break loose around the horn, Ixion released the charged beam and let loose a walloping energy cannon to the same place Noelle's earth spear would hit. All of the happiness of his past life seemed to rush into John with the adrenaline of the thunder cannon. Above he could hear that the battle was in their favor. They would win again... and again... and again until finally when there was a big ole honkin' baddie, they would save the day, f*** some betches and get home with a gajabillion dollars because John finally came to the conclusion that God was with them. Somewhere... he was there though. Keeping them safe and alive.

{Bobbi .:. Hawaii .:. Dogfight}

Bobbi closed her eyes against the flash from Kyla's Zord to avoid being blinded, and took the chance to dive-bomb Ooze's head. Unfortunately, by the time she made it, Ooze had already done that pulse that shoved everyone back, and she was caught up in it. As her Zord plummeted towards the ground, the Archer let out a shriek of terror.

Luckily, Shiva was more in control of the Zord than Bobbi was (well, okay, Shiva kind of was the Zord in general), and managed to get control of the fall in time to narrowly avoid hitting the ground. The Gyrfalcon Zord swept around in a circle, heading back towards the aerial fight. Bobbi was still shaking, but Shiva was in full control.

~:"Bobbi. Focus. To the right of your main control panel, do you see the green button?":~ Shiva asked.

"Y-yeah," Bobbi stuttered, forcibly shoving herself out of the first part of a panic attack. She didn't have time for that now, and Shiva was offering her an out.

~:"That's the missiles you've been looking for. Well, bombs, but I know you, you just want explosions. Press it when I tell you to.":~

"...why the fart-knocking crud monkeys is it all the way over there?"

Shiva didn't deign to answer, and instead rose higher above the battlefield. Bobbi was semi-distracted by Kyle's insane antics, but instead of reacting to anything going on, fought off the phobic terror from the fall. She let Shiva have full control of everything as the Archer leaned back in her seat, closed her eyes, and took deep, steady breaths to calm down. It wasn't working, but it was better than letting herself break.

~:"Mizu, NOW!!!":~

It was almost a spasm-like motion that caused Bobbi to hit the green button. It was all reaction, no conscious thought, but the timing was right and she did what she needed to do. A hatch near the back of the Zord opened, and a chunk of Ice laced with an impact-triggered Blizzard spell fell with alarming speed and accuracy right at Ooze's head. They repeated the pattern three times before Bobbi caught on. And then she started giggling like a lunatic.

"You have got to be sh*ting me!" she said through her giggles. "Pun fully intended!"

~:"Shut up,":~ Shiva muttered, and if it were possible in Zord form, she would have blushed. ~:"I'm not the one who has the morbid sense of humor that subconsciously designed this thing. That was you.":~

"Poop missiles, for the win!"

~:"Bombs.":~

"OH MY GOD THAT'S EVEN BETTER!" Bobbi was outright cackling now.

[[Louis : Hawaii : Village]]

The arcanist and Behemoth shook their heads in unison, attempting to remove the nobody from their weak point. They thrashed violently, but before they could even land a blow, the assassin escaped.

The horns of the behemoth glowed white as negative energy sparked off the edges. It was about ready for it's attack when once more cannon fire rained from the sky once more. Louis clung to Sayrike as tightly as he could, refusing to let her go.
It's too dangerous here! the thought echoed in his mind like a scream in his ear. Before anything else could harm them, Louis pulled Sayrike closer, then with all of his strength, threw her off him and into a portal to safety, just in time before Terra's explosion engulfed near everything in sight. The portal would deliver Sayrike to safety next to Seymour as soon as the light died down from the explosion.

The behemoth flailed violently, it's tail alone splitting small buildings in its attempt to escape all the blows, Louis had a tough time staying in position, frantically searching for a way out through the eyes of the heartless.

Just as he thought he'd found a way, the world froze, a sharp pain in his chest drawing his gaze. A glass arrow punctured his breast, a shot from a master marksman. Louis took a deep, labored breath, then with Behemoth shook the air around him with a roar, sending the energy from its horns into the sky in a giant bolt of negative lighting, slicing clean through an unlucky fighter ship. But just as it shot off, in the middle of their battle-cry, a massive explosion of extraordinary magical power erupted in their side as meteor detonated on its target.

Black lighting rained back down along with Anthony's, striking everything with no discrimination, fighter planes, buildings, groups of people on foot, friend or foe. Overall effectiveness would depend on the target, but in combination with Anthony's attack, it would make this short-lived thunderstorm one to be reckoned with.

---------------------------------------------------------------

[[Cue: Lost Resolution]]

When the cloud of dust, smoke, fire and magic cleared and ringing in their ears died down after the Behemoth's roar, one would not only see the looming mound of the behemoth, but also hear the distinct screaming from one certain arcanist.

Louis lie on the ground writhing, kicking and screaming in a mad fit as he pulled the arrow from his chest. The boy drew the projectile from his skin and threw it to the side shattering it against the wall of a building. Louis panted, trying to catch his breath that simply was not returning. It was at this point, free of the majority of agony he'd experienced a moment before, that he became aware of his surroundings once more.

Suddenly greeted with a blurry image of a yellow figure on his knees, the figure stood as he did. Louis felt a burning on his body that was not his own, a dull pain accompanied by an overwhelming sense of fatigue. He took a step forward with the figure, then once more, till he came to close enough to make out his own features. His own body illuminated before him, the glow only tarnished by the spatters of blood covering his arm and chest that appeared only as sections of grey.

Louis reached out a hand and touched the behemoth with his hand, its rough, yet silky, surface rolling under his skin. The behemoth took in a deep breath, a rumble from deep within its throat escaping with some effort. Louis' fetures hardened as he held back the surge of emotions that greeted him.

"So much pain..." the arcanist spoke, his voice cracking and quickly failing him, "...a heart that has seen so much... but no more..."

Louis' face softened, "Time to end this."

Louis climbed over the rubble of the building destroyed by the behemoth's body, then onto its back. With a growl the monster lifted itself up. It braced itself against a nearby building, as it stood. It took a few steps forward till it was free of the debris and out into the clearing full of fighters.

Louis made his way to the head where he stood upon the small central horn with one foot in front and the other braced against the behemoth's brow. Once in position, the behemoth stopped, the hunched up before lifting itself painfully slow onto its hind legs.

Upon reaching the pinnacle of its body's length in height, nearly 6 stories tall, Louis brought his hands to his chest and spoke silently,

"Sorrowful shadows,
bury not your heavy hearts in darkness,
relieve yourself of sadness and despair,
throw your sorrows on me,
and I shall deliver you from the shadows,
of your painful, blood soaked past,

this is a vanguard's sacrifice."

[[Cue: Rebirth]]

Louis pulled his hands away from his chest, struggling to separate some unseen barrier before whatever pressure suddenly released and his hands slowly drifted out wide. A warm, brilliant light, poured out onto the battlefield below, shimmering and separating like hundreds of miniature spotlights, searching for captives of the dark ocean below to rescue.

Upon finding and locking onto the chest of every ally, they would feel a strange sensation as darkness was drawn from their chest and into the air around them. Sound in this area was like a thing of the past, it was deathly silent. The light over Louis, glowed brighter till matching the sun for a single second, then snapped to black.

All the darkness from everyone and everything around tore into the sky with a sound like a jet engine then into the black mass like a flood of countless rivers. For those observant enough, they'd even notice the behemoth's form vanishing bit by bit from underneath the arcanist.

Everyone below would feel a sudden surge of strength, their mental and physical ailments lessened, and magical sources opened to full capacity as every doubt fled from their hearts and left them feeling near invulnerable.

((Vanguard's Sacrifice: This acts as an omni-buff to all allied forces including Faith, Bravery, Protect, Shell, and a minor Heal))

[[You know, since Dawn failed to mention it, I should clarify that Ultima only struck for 10 MS, not the full 20 MS. That's the price paid for hitting everyone.]]

[ Seymour ; Sora/Riku/Cloud/Lexaeus ; Beatrix ; Yuffie/??? ; Axel : Hawaii : Village ]

Seymour, despite his enhanced form, brought his hands up to guard his front as Terra's Ultima spell was unleashed. Truly, this was a magnificent creature.

Sora had only just attempted to grin at Quina when the eruption of energy went off. Everyone was only knocked back off their feet once the explosion struck them, Cloud included, and the Vanish spell had proved fruitless.

It was then that he spotted Anthony's summon and Louis' Behemoth attempting similar moves- a massive torrent of Lightning struck around the battlefield, hitting all foes... and, unluckily for some, even the allies, as far as the Black Lightning went. Sora was one of the few struck, and to be perfectly honest, he was starting to feel whipped. Luckily, Quina had healed them moments earlier.

The greatest reprieve came from those attacks. Beatrix was stunned, knocked down to one knee for a moment to recuperate. Even Lexaeus, the Earth Elemental, had somehow taken damage from the Lightning blasts, holding his head with one hand as he tried to steady himself. The best part, however, was that the bolts had struck even the unseen foes... even the rapidly moving ones.

Littering the field in random positions were Axel, Yuffie, and Zidane Tribal, all on the ground. They did not have nearly the defense or endurance to sustain such blows simultaneously. They would stand soon enough, but they would need a couple of moments to catch their breath.

Seymour, much to his displeasure, was forced to use his energy on healing those around him. He double-cast an area-of-effect Curaga, just as his Mortibody cast one of its own. Everyone on the field was brought up to at the very least half-health, even those who had been critical moments before...

Everyone except Louis. Perhaps he was simply too far away, at that height?

What exactly do you plan to do...? Can your heart truly sustain so much Darkness without permanent damage?

I'll find out soon enough, I suppose.

[ ??? : Leviathan : Bridge ]

A strike from the right- blocked by the greater of Ghis' two blades; a slash from the left- parried away.

The trio jumped back for a moment after the second round of battle had come to a pause, looking at their opponent. None of them, save Ghis, actually seemed weary. All four of them had wounds, all four of them had taken their fair share of damage, but the only one who seemed labored, despite the power of the Nethicite, was Ghis himself.

"Why do you hesitate?" he asked, and though he breathed somewhat heavily, his tone was arrogant. "Do you now realize the truth?"

"Yes. The truth is, I shouldn't have wasted time on these games," the Gold Ranger grumbled, having looked off to the side, toward the battlefield below, for a moment. He then turned to the other two. "Finish."

They were no more than blurs. The Gold Ranger charged forward with both blades, attacking head on- he was, of course, blocked by Ghis. However, the other two had sped around, knocking his legs out from underneath him and powerfully jabbing at his shoulders as he fell. The force of the blows not only brought him down, but disarmed him, the blades falling out of his hands. Before he could retaliate, the Gold Ranger took his two blades again and thrust them through the Judge Magister's armor- pinning him to the ground by his right shoulder and his left leg.

The Judge Magister let out a groan, but only barely- he refused to show any other sign of pain. The Gold Ranger knelt down and, finding the obvious hitch in Ghis' armor, removed the magic crystal.

"Continue your operations, if you wish, though you'll find your fleet has been decimated," he said, pocketing the crystal and pulling his blades from the body. The other two Rangers had already made their way to the door, and as it opened, the Gold Ranger dashed through, sheathing his blades.

---

It had only taken a few seconds to navigate the corridors and find the docking bays. After all, the Rangers were nothing but flashes of color now, dashing and leaping past anyone who got in their way. They jumped into the first ship they could find (a small Pandaemonium-class transport) and rocketed out of the bay, soaring high over the battlefield.

After making some distance from the Leviathan, the Gold Ranger's helmet seemed to simply fade away, melting into the lower part of his suit. He ran a hand through his messy brown hair and groaned.

"Reeeeaaaally wasted too much time on him," Ajora said, frowning before looking out the windows of the ship. Below, somewhere he couldn't see, he felt the mass presence of Darkness- it didn't hurt that he had a bond with the certain someone causing it. Throwing the Nethicite to the now-remade Celia, he opened a Corridor of Darkness and vanished- nothing needed to be said.

The ship flew on, only to be cloaked in a blanket of shadow, hidden from the world and avoiding battle. Ajora, now in free-fall, also hid himself in a cocoon of Darkness, falling at a dangerous speed. The cocoon lengthened and thinned as it fell, becoming more of a small missile than a sphere, until finally it was nothing more than a streak of black in the black night sky, unable to be seen...

And just before hitting ground, he struck his target- Louis. He was immediately and entirely absorbed into the vacuum of Darkness.

Do you trust me?

[Michelle : Hawaii: Village]

Michelle didn't have long to sit and stare, regardless of if she felt like moving again the rain of cannon fire, then the approaching Ultima spell, and oh look double storms of lightning, had her dancing and dodging what she could, and enduring what she couldn't. She had it a bit better then the others since the lightning at least didn't hurt, but she was still on her hands and knees gasping when Louis added his last bit of effort to the show. It was a disconcerting feeling at first, the darkness literally being pulled from her, and then it was great. She hadn't felt this unrestrained, this light and happy, since, since before the Earth was destroyed. Not knowing how long the feeling would last, and not really caring in this second, she stood up grinning.

First she took a moment to dip into what she thought of as defensive tactics, adding to the by now familiar Shock Spikes and Charge Up of her system, she also focused on a slightly different sort of energy, minor manipulation of Chakra set into play a Regen effect. Since she had the sudden urge, or more like confidence, to go find the others and get back into what was left of the fray, she was sure a little extra health wouldn't go amiss in the next while. Weapons in hand, ridiculous spandex suit in place once more, she started to move in the direction of some of the ground based ruckus, toward where the Ultima spell had come from figuring that someone had to be there.

[ Louis : Hawaii : Battlefield ]

Louis floated in the air a moment as the Behemoth completely vanished from beneath him; Darkness flowed into the mass above his chest endlessly, supplied by his almost-too-giving surroundings. With arms open wide, he accepted all of it, tainting his heart with every last drop that it could hold. Then suddenly, a black falling star collided with his chest, slamming into him with a dull thud and pushing him out of his zero gravity state just slightly before the black mass vanished and he fell.

Do you trust me?

Darkness seeped under the Arcanist's skin, blackening every inch of his visible body. His head rolled back and Louis flew straight into the earth. Upon collision, a sphere of black detonated around his body, clouding him from sight.

When the darkness cleared, a shadow stood amidst the lingering whisps. Instead of Louis, a featureless, lanky, black figure stood in the center of the crator left behind. Yellow lights flashed into existance on its face to take the roles of eyes, and the body of the face pulled apart like putty or slime, forming a razor sharp maw with the same yellow behind the teeth. It screeched, its elbows against its sides, arms out, and palms facing up.

Kill them all.

The fingers burst out into elongated talons, and it seemed to want to burst forward, lunging for the nearest target (ally or enemy). However, as its body tensed to launch itself, it stopped, as if frozen in place. There was a brief but noticeable pulse of Darkness, and its very essence seemed to reverberate with the wave of negativity.

Come now, death is too sweet a mercy.

Threads of Darkness sprang out of its skin and covered its body, forming an intricate armor that bound and held the creature in place. Gloves covered and pulled the talons back into human shape. Lastly, a pointed helm formed over the face and clamped down into position, covering the mouth and leaving only the glowing eyes to be seen through the slots in the guard. The eyes immediately flashed and turned a deep, crimson red along with all the other details in the armor.

But your precious charges will be saved, so fret not.

The armored figure threw an arm out to its side and darkness formed a new weapon for it to wield: a swallow sword, colored the shade of blood, matching the armor in etched color and detail.

With a steely gaze, Louis analyzed the devastated battlefield, quickly spotting his targets. The crimson lining on his armor seemed to flicker for a moment before steadily glowing, a low, guttural chuckle creeping out from somewhere within the armor.

[[ Faith induced. ]]

He held his other arm out, his free hand revealing an open (armored) palm facing directly in front of him. If one blinked, they would have missed the attack's formation- a massive, glowing dome of violet and gray energy suddenly formed a few meters in front of him, and all around the sphere, space began to distort. The trees around the field creaked as they bent toward the Gravija spell, and all manner of debris was quickly sucked in to what could only have been described as a black hole. Even light seemed to refract around the sphere; however, no allies were affected.

Instead, all enemies would have felt an insane pull. Beatrix, Yuffie, Zidane, and Axel were all sucked into the center without even a fair warning. Lexaeus attempted to encase himself in Earth, but even that was merely pulled into the spatial-rending Gravity spell, with him following shortly after. Artemis would have also felt the powerful pull, and unless her resistance was somehow high enough to counter, she would be pulled in like all the others. All those caught within seemed to disappear completely, crushed into a singularity at the very center that appeared as no more than a speck of light.

Even Terra would find herself struggling against the might of Gravija, though with her increased magic, she could break free.

[Terra : Hawaii : Village]

Terra was only stunned slightly from the bolts of lightning delivered by Anthony. The one delivered by Louis's pet did more damage. As she was recovering from the stun from both blows, she was soon being pulled in by the Gravija. To fight it she surrounded herself with her own magic aura and broke free, and took to the sky once more.

"The battle has ended...." Terra said to no one in particular. She soon retreated into the sky. Where a dark portal was opened up and took her in.

Terra was gone.
