"Th... Three whole hours? A day?" That sounded WAY too good to be true, why was he being so disgustingly generous suddenly? This seriously had to be her dreaming or something, this was just too.... unreal. He told her many times her only hobby and favorite thing to always do would forever and always be taking care of him and giving in to his every whim. What changed?

Chii's heart flickered nervously as he pulled her in closer, pretty damned sure he was going to start taking advantage of her like he always did. But it was a pretty weird way to go about it, usually he just threw her onto the bed or slapped her around.

"I-I don't think I need that much time, Master... th-that's a lot of time to read when I have chores to do every day..." She wanted to squirm away and run like always, but she was deathly scared he would try to rip out her soul like the first time she met him. Pissing him off was never a good thing...

It didn't take very long before the food got here, and the bunny stared at the plate of berries.

Oh my....... She was already drooling inside of her mouth just from the smell of it. That... looks... soooooo..... good! Chii didn't hesitate to pick one up, and took a small bite from it.

She nearly feinted from how amazing it tasted.

"Mmmn~" She purred out, blushing. This was the kind of food rich people ate every day?! It was amazingful, she never knew fruit could taste this fresh and flavorful. Where had strawberries like this been all her life?!

"So do you like it? After you're done eating we can go to the library. Three hours a day just for you Chii."

After she finished, he stood up from the bed and offered her his hand for her to take.

"Shall we take a tour of the Library? My Sweet Chii?"

His eyes were looking directly at hers, hoping to exude as much generosity as he could.

You are really going to make me work for this? Aren't you? Silly slave girl.

Hearing him say her name over and over was... kind of creepy. Which was weird, because on the other hand she was glad he was using her name. But spending an entire month with him mostly just calling her pet or slave instead of Chii... him saying her name so often just seemed very strange and unorthodox.

"... Y-Yes, Master-!" Chii squeaked out, taking his hand. Wow... he really had not done anything to her. Maybe she really was dreaming... Something was just... not right... but she couldn't deny liking every minute of it. She was the last person that wanted anything to do with Demitrious at night, especially after the things she had had to live through with Zuni.

After seeing the library, she carefully carried a few books back to his quarters in her hands as if they were made of gold. They were mostly just for researching how to best plan this gala here at the castle, that way she could study in between chores. She didn't want to mess this up. Especially if it was a shot at possibly (not) being freed.

"Th... Thank you for today..." Chii said softly, holding the books close so she didn't risk dropping them. They were probably worth more than her own life.

With a hard plop, the prince sat on the bed and pat the space next to him, indicating where he wanted Chii to sit after she put the books where she wanted.

God I have to play he nice guy for her to just get comfortable around me, I wonder how she will react later on...

“So what theme should we do for the Gala? Have any in mind or do you need to do some research?”

Chii sat next to him, thinking... This was supposed to be a very expensive show case event, in order to impress other rich people. God, it felt so disgustingly wrong to be helping plan something that cost as much as feeding the townspeople a hundred times over for months. People in this castle were more spoiled than ever thought possible, as well as their guests.

But if it goes well, it will open up more trading and hopefully help the poor townspeople in the kingdom... and maybe I'll get to go free, too. Even if it's a waste of money it will be good in the long run...

The bunny girl blinked at him, "W-Well... It's probably a theme you've done before... but people a-always enjoy the mysteries of a masquerade, people in town talked for months e-even though they didn't get to go... But I don't know if wearing masks is b-business impression appropriate...?" Chii tilted her head a little, not sure what he would think of a simple theme like that. She had some other ideas, but again she had no idea what he wanted...

"We could possibly do that, but it's a theme I have done before and a good four people ended up being murdered so lets not do that."

He looked down at the book she was reading through.

"Do you have any other ideas? Like we could to a classical orchestra Gala, or even a coronation type Gala, or maybe even a dance heavy Gala."

People could end up dead at these things-!? That... That didn't sound good at all! Hopefully he was just joking...

"U-Umn...." Chii wasn't sure how he would feel about her other ideas. "M-My only other ideas are like... 'secret garden'... f-for a natural theme... the garden here is so beautiful..." She trailed off, looking up at him from her book. "A... coronation? I-Isn't that a royal ceremony, not a gala? I-I'm confused..."

"No like a coronation esque theme. Like has all the festivities as a coronation but instead of someone being crowned, it would end off with a dance. However the Secret garden one will do."

He yawned and stood up.

"We will do more planning tomorrow. Would you join me for dinner at one of the Noblemans house? It's tonight and I was planning on asking if you wanted to go. He will be helping out with part of the planning too if you like. Afterwards we need to go to bed though, and I would like you to join me."

Demitrious extended his arm for her to grasp. After she grasped it, he brought it to his lips and he gave it a kiss.

"You truly are the most wondrous sight in this room, Chii."

There were more people to help plan this? Eh... well, this was a big event, it would be a lot easier with more people helping. She had been scared maybe Demitrious expected her to figure it out all by herself.

"K-Kay..." Chii answered softly, getting up and gently taking his hand. She blushed harshly, not at all expecting him to just.... kiss her hand... like that...

"Th-Thank you, M-Master.." She stuttered out, her heart fluttering nervously yet again. Could he just... stop that-!? Why was he being affectionate? It was just way too confusing! Her head was already starting to spin again...

I really don't get it... why has he changed so suddenly? She didn't dare ask, however. That would only be causing herself more pain if she questioned his behavior.

Demitrious pulled her into a hug, trying to get her as close as he could to him.

He then moved his mouth to where it was barely next to her ear.

"I love you, Chii."

He pulled away from the hug and turned around, grasping her hand. A signal for her to follow him to the dressing room for her to choose a formal, nice dinner dress.

"You need to decided what dress to wear for this dinner, since it's very important."

Chii's eyes widened slightly, completely stunned.

Did... Did he just say.... he loves her-!?

She stared at him with wide eyes for several moments. Okay. She was officially hallucinating. What the heck was going on here. What... What... WHAT!? She was too frozen to even react. She had always dreamed of the day that someone she cared about might say that to her... and they would live happily ever after... But this... Him... Demitrious... Being nothing but cruel to her every day for an entire month and now he was saying the thing she had always wanted to hear-!? She was tripping out on drugs or something, this was NOT really happening-!!

As the prince started leading her forward, she tripped over herself, lightly smacking into his back with a squeak.

"I-I'm sorry!" Chii said quickly, before following him completely into the dressing room and looking at the dresses.

"Here are the dresses that you could choose to wear."

He outstretched his arm to show her all the various dresses strewn out for her to choose from.

"My favorite is the red Cheongsam right here."

He picked it up and showed it to Chii.

"I LOVE asian style materials, they are just... so unique."

He walked over to more dresses.

"Or you could choose our boring European style dresses. The choice is yours."

Her eyes sparkled softly at all of the beautiful dresses in the room. He had all of these for girls to wear? There was so many of them... it was kind of sad they just sat in the closet all of the time with no one to wear them. She had never seen such nice dresses before... and she really got to wear one?

Chii nearly gasped at the red dress that Demitrious held up. She reached out and gently touched it, amazed at how soft the fabric was. This is what silk felt like? She had never been so close to silk fabric before. It was something only rich people got to wear.

"I-It's beautiful..." The chimera said in her soft butterfly voice. She had never seen anything like this before. Not even on rich people walking through town. This was from an asian country? Like the fancy sushi she enjoyed eating. It was like nothing she had seen before, she had never been so excited to wear a piece of clothing before.

"Th-This one, please, Master." She carefully took it from him, and gently took it off the rack it was hanging onto. This dress was so original and pretty that she did not mind at all indulging in Demitrious' clothing choice for her. Her bunny tail wiggled happily as she walked away to put it on. She came back as a white tiger neko, wearing the short red dress. She blushed awkwardly, staring down at the floor.

"I-It doesn't... f-fit.... so good..." She said, completely disappointed. Her curves were.... a little bit too much for this tight red dress to handle. She couldn't even get the clasps tied up in the back by herself, so her back and shoulders were half exposed. Chii bit her lip a little, kind of sad that the dress really didn't fit her. And then it occurred to her that nothing in this closet would probably fit, as she usually had to get dresses a size or two too big for her just so that it wouldn't crush her chest when it was buttoned up. "I-I'm sorry..."

"What are you talking about? You look fine with it. It looks like it fits you very well."

He walked up to the kitty and hugged her.

"You look amazing my dear, I would be honored if you accompany me to this dinner with that dress. If need be I can put off the dinner and have it tailored to your desire, though I honestly think it fits you fine."

Having stepped away from the hug he was giving her, he took her hand once again and gave it a kiss.

"Please be my honored guest to this dinner, Chii."

He knelt down on one knee, and bowed.

Chii blushed a little as he hugged her again. It was really scary seeing him be so kind to her... but she was thankful for it all the same. It was hard not to flinch because she was just so used to him slapping her around all the time.

Her face quickly turned virgin cherry red as he suddenly got down and bowed to her. Her tail stood up on end, her heart jumping up into her throat in panic.

"A-Aa! M-Mast-ster!" She squeaked out, mortified he would do something like that. That was a HUGE no-no! She was a slave, royalty should NOT bow down to her. Especially a prince. If someone else had seen that, think of what they would say!!

"Pl-Please d-don't do that! Y-You really don't need to do that!" Her heart was beating fast, getting really nervous. People would probably be very angry like at her slave ceremony when she got stabbed in the leg.

"I-I'll go, but please d-don't do that!" Chii gently tried to take his hand and pull him up from his knee, super anxious that someone might see him bowing to her.
