Also forgot to mention I ordered Maid-sama! 1 and Dazzle 3 on Amazon...right after I said I was done for the next couple of weeks...

I should probably update my list on the front page too...when I stop being lazy. xd

Went back to Waldenbooks to see if it was still open.
It was, but if I had gotten there a wee bit sooner I would have been able to grab Natsume's Book of Friends 6-7...which someone picked up as I walked in. Kinda disappointed about that.

But I still managed to snag a few books for $2 each.
I got:
Maria Holic 2, 3 and +Anima 7

I'm reeeally going to miss Borders/Waldenbooks. emo

Finally bought some more books...
I got:
Bride of the Water God 1 - I decided to see why everyone liked this one. To be honest the only thing that caught me was the art, the rest was just kinda "Meh" to me. Of course, I'm not making any big judgements yet, the first volumes always suck. Gotta give it a fair shake.

March Story 2 - I borrowed the first one from a friend and found it kind of fascinating. ...She'll be kinda miffed that I bought the second volume though.( I haven't read this one yet, so I've really got no further comment lols)

Momogumi Plus Senki 3 - This one...is actually rather bland compared to the rest of the books I bought. I'll admit that it's cute, but it's definitely not A-list material, not by a long shot. I'll buy the last volume Tpop printed just so I can have a liiiittle bit of closure.

Black Bird 11 - This series is still managing to give me very uneasy feelings. This volume is an improvement from the last 3 volumes, I'll give it that. Now, when I read it I'm just slightly uncomfortable.

Ouran Highschool Host Club 16 - Keeping me on the edge of my seat once again. Veeeery good. Though to me it felt like it was abrupt-- OH WAIT, I KNOW WHY-- I skipped volume 15!(Because I was too stupid to look at my bookshelf before buying it) Megaderp. Also, I think volume 17 is the last one...isn't it?


...It's funny how I went from doing an explaination of why I bought the books, to doing a mini-review of them. I kinda like it though. -w-b

Speaking for myself, I'm collecting Bride of the Water God entirely because of the art. xd The story's not the draw here--- and frankly, it confuses the heck out of me most of the time. With this one, I'm happiest if I don't think and just space out with the pretty pictures...

March Story is awesome! I hope you keep enjoying it. I love both the art and story with this one. wink

Ugh, I gave up on Black Bird around volume 4, I think. Too much creepy in my shojo, no thank you. >_>

And I'm pretty sure #18 is the last Ouran volume. They haven't listed it on Amazon yet, though. =_= I think it's coming out this June/July.

Haha! Glad to hear it~ Saying stuff about the manga I buy gives me a chance to tell people how I feel about certain manga and to make good debate topics to keep the guild/thread going. I think I should do it more often instead of just posting a boring list. XD

Well, the art style isn't exactly my favorite, but I like it a lot better than a lot of the other girls' Manhwa/manga I've read.

It has it's moments of "Ew", but it's kind of interesting so far. I do plan on buying more volumes, but only from Amazon. Those "SIG" titles are friggin' expensive, yo. D:

Ha, I probably should have stopped around volume 2. It really is a creepy and unsettling story once you get right down to it. The main pairing does absolutely nothing for me. (But I obviously must like something about it because I'm still reading it)

Well that's not too bad. I still need to fill in my 7 volume gap so that should give me enough time. XD

Got my manga I ordered a couple days ago, I just didn't feel like updating until now.

Got:
Bride of the Water God 2(Hrm, I'm still rather indifferent to this series. It's getting kinda interesting, but I'm not really sold on it yet.)
Maid Sama! 2 (I know there's no point in collecting this one anymore. But it's cute. I'll catch up even if it kills me. There's no way in hell I'm going to pay anything over 11 dollars per volume though. I've seen some insane prices for some of them. Not cool.)
Ouran 15 and 17 (I was looking for 15 to fix that volume skip and I realized that 17 was out~ Yipee! ...Now I have to wait for-friggin'-ever for the next one. NOOOO)
And
March Story 3 (And now I get to add March Story volume 4 to my list of volumes I'm waiting for. I hassa sad)

HOLY CRAP, AN UPDATE!

Well, I decided to swap some manga with one of my friends and I got Ouran volumes 3-7 for both of my Trinity Blood manga and 17-19 of my Fruits Basket.
So now the only volumes of Ouran I'm missing is 8 and 18~! A whole lot better than the gap I had before~ =w=

And for some reason my friend also ended up giving me volumes 21, 22 and 24-27 of Bleach. So now I have yet ANOTHER gap to fill. x_x;

I went to the thread and I said I'd post new pics...
But that didn't happen.

I'm still going to do it, even though my collecting has kinda changed a little.

Meaning, I haven't bought any English manga in a little while. I've been following a couple of series in the Japanese serialized magazines lately...so I've been purchasing Asuka and Comic Birz for the last few months. And that ain't cheap so I never have any money for the English stuff heheh...

But I hope to at least buy a few of them soon when I come into some extra money.

I'll probably update pics tomorrow~
