Coming down from the mountain, you find yourself in a rather unusual setting. The ground before you is cracked yet thick with moisture, rocks piled high and caked with mud in the strangest shapes. A whistling hits your ears, and a moment later a jet of steam belts out from a hole in the rock. One after the steam vents itself into the open air, releasing a sweltering mist over the area. Best watch your step if you don't fancy learning what a steamed vegetable feels like, and one can only imagine what sort of Pokemon would willingly call this place home...

Fungi as it turned out were the bulk of the child's problems. The man had warned him before hadn't he? About the shrooms? From the canopy above a Paras would drop down, landing upon the boy's head. Yet rather than outright attacking the boy it would snip one of the mushrooms from it's back, snatching it and thrusting it onto the child's head. Just what was it trying to accomplish exactly?
[[12+5]-11]+[9-8] = 7 DMG! Mienfoo is at -3 HP! Polaris gains 53 EXP!
And like that, the heroine of justice would fall to the ground, bloody gashes staining the creamy parts of her coat. Polaris was right; the red was exactly what the Mienfoo needed. She wasn't dead, but she'd gain some impressive scars from her "clash with the darkness".

Flexing it's stone arms, the Geodude would fall to the ground, slamming it's massive fists in front of it's face. Firmly grounded, it's eyes and mouth well guarded, the Pokemon would rely on it's naturally rock solid defense to take the brunt of the attack for it. This wasn't some Vanillite she was dealing with, but a rocky warrior of the mountain peaks!

Given Nim was currently... indisposed (a polite way of saying she was shaking and near tears), Eins realized she'd need to deal with this on her own for the moment. She watched at the creature dove at her-- powerful, yes, but sloppy from all that sleep. She'd make an executive decision-- lifting her stick, she'd concentrate as hard as she could and swing right at the oncoming monster in a counter as Wood Hammer!
[2/10]
Starter Pokemon: Mimikyu [F] Name & Level: Eins, Level 3 [Temperament] Lonely Bio: Eins spent most of her pre-capture time haunting a candy store and sneaking free lollipops into the pockets of screaming children. She'd have been content to stay that way but for the will of the cult. Indeed, she was actually caught by Nim's sponsor, and given to the girl in an attempt to give her a step up when it came to fighting. The sponsor also has a slightly better sense of humor than Nim-- giving a Mimikyu a Mimikyu! No one could count on Nim's dislike of Pokémon being quite as... intense as it was, for the girl can barely stand to look at her starter. Nim couldn't even name the creature properly, just giving it a number for a name. For her part, Eins isn't too fussed; humans are strange, and she'll melt her trainer's heart one way or another... possibly by giving it a heart attack, but still. Stats: HP:17/17/PP:18/ATK:12/DEF:9/SPD:11/SP-ATK:8/SP-DEF:12 - Wood Hammer - X-Scissor - Copycat - Curse EXP: 72/100 Pokemon held items: N/A

The Smoochum, reduced to incoherant snarling, merely bounded backwards, glaring right into Spica's eyes. If she could just avoid the lips which had destroyed her sweet sister...
Onyxia side stepped as a thing of steam shot out. "Okay, steam... let's tread carefully Ordo." She watched Ordo move and she did the same. Trying to avoid the steam. Coughing as when the vents off. Pulling her shirt up to make a mask of sorts. "It's so hard to breath here. We need to move fast Ordo." She kept moving, trying to avoid the steam vents that seemed to be everywhere. "HELLO?!?"
Trafalgar didn't know what was up with the Paras but he shook the mushroom off his head by rapidly shaking his head. He remember the worker...seemed to be having sorts of hallucinations. While...Trafalgar didn't necessary mind a wild time every now and then, the mushrooms could definitely be some kind of poisonous. "Dante, come on out!" Trafalgar didn't know the Paras's intentions..but this was food for Dante. "Fire fang!" He didn't know if Dante would be able to attack or not, but something was up.
[I just assumed it was some sort of attack since you rolled in the post. XD]
Unfortunately for the smoochum fate had different plans. Spica had gotten this one by the jugular, maiming her as thoroughly as her sister and ending her instantly. He was even more bloody now; thank goodness his fur was already dark or this surely would have stained. Unlike the other smoochum, he promptly spit this one out. The smoochum carried her legacy until the end - the meat was just too tough to eat.
"Good work, my pet." finally, some praise out of Altair for the sneasel. Before the pokemon could lash out at him he was promptly returned to his pokeball. Slowly, but surely, Spica would get used to him. He would make it work no matter how stubborn he had to be.
The witch moved past the mangled corpse without a second thought. If he had no interest with the first one, he really had no interest in the second.
And there rested the body of Musclebaby Smoochum; gone, but not forgotten. [[Spica gains 35 EXP!]]

(13 + 5) - 2 + (12 - 11) = 17 + 2 = 19
Aerodactyl HP: 2/21

19/5 = 3.8 (ROUND) 4 DMG
Eins HP: 13
THWACK
The sound alone would practically reverberate through the Guardian's bones, the damage however was near catastrophic. Wings up, head down, the Rock-Type would practically faceplant into the ground from the force of the Mimikyu's bones. Yet what was this vicious predator's instinctive reaction to this attack?
Clutching it's fore talons to it's head, the Aerodactyl would stand up sharply and shout ">OWWIE!!!!!!<" Then as it jumped from one foot to the other it would flail about ">OWWIE OWWIE OOOOWWWWWWW!!<" Once the initial pain receded to soreness, a red patch developing in the middle of the Pokemon's forehead, she would squat down, wings clutched to her chest ">Why would you dooo thaaaaaat?<" She sniffled. Sniffled? Wait was she crying? Indeed there seemed to be tears forming in the corners of the Areodactyl's eyes....and more than a little dino snot dribbling from her nose. Tiny mammals weren't supposed to fight back! They were supposed to get eaten so she could look like a big bad protector! Then everyone would leave her and the others alone!
But no! This one was mean! ">MEANIE!<" The prehistoric predator called out childishly, sticking out her tongue in a weak raspberry. One couldn't even be sure she still remembered this was a battle. Maybe she just depended on her rock like hide for defense. Cause obviously that had worked so well just now.
Finally, he made it. If Altair was the emotional type he'd be jumping for joy. Instead he stopped in his tracks, allowing himself a celebratory break from walking. It was incredibly tiring after all, it was probably a personal best in fitness for him so far.

Fire being nothing short of the worst thing for a Paras, not to mention the brightness of the light, would leave the Paras scurrying for it's life in no time flat. Long before Dante reached his target. Sadly in his panic Trafalgar didn't think he plan though. Being blind the dragon would not know to change it's target, and more important hair was very flammable. Due to the intensity of the flame, and the urgency of the command, Trafalgar would soon find he had managed to set his his on fire. Would he be able to put out the blaze in time before it caused lasting harm!?
The Sneasel was however, not satisfied. She hadn't died, and hence his art was incomplete! Though the red added a lovely touch to his work, without the cold embrace of death her body hadn't obtained the proper paler; worst yet without the rigormortis she would eventually get up and ruin the same thing. ">Bah! Unacceptable! I may neither bless this with a name nor my signature!<" He announced, waving a claw dismissively.
Sol meanwhile had been watching. Not that he hadn't wanted to participate in the battle, but he'd come to the revelation shortly upon calling the Sneasel, that he didn't know any of it's moves. Now he knew....well at least one of them. Based on all the ice and the crashing, it was probably Icicle Crash.Well at least it was over? Not as smoothly as Umbra's work, but this one was less experienced. So. "Good work Polaris!" The boy said, giving the Sneasel a congratulatory pat on the head.
The Ice-type was about to protest the mangling of his fur, however it was then he caught the name. ">Polaris you say?....hmmm....yes. I like it. That'll do nicely<" He said, placing a claw to his own chin and nodding ">Fine work! Not exactly up to my own splendorous caliber, but fine work none the less human!<"
Well seemed he approved of the name at least. Smiling at that, Sol would return the Sneasel to his ball. After all he only had the one bag to carry, so why leave two Pokemon in the open? Umbra was the floor model, the rest of the merchandise need be requested.
Golett during this exchange would sigh. That one might become trouble someday. They'd need to temper that ego before it became a hazard on the battlefield.
With their business here complete, Sol would once again march forward!
