Amelia smirked at his reply and the look on his that said didn't need to know that about her being sick comment. Her smirk changed to a look of concern when he he told her about the food issue at the shop."Aye, your welcome Niko. We'll go down to the restuarant down the street to eat after I change out of this monkey outfit that my brother insisted that I wear going to the shop today. Older siblings can be a big pain the arse."Amelia said as she put her hand into one of the three hidden pockets in her skirt and pulled out her keys. Then she went around to the side of the building where the entrance to to workshop was and unlocked it and open it to go in. After both of them were in, she closed the door and put in the passwords into the security system so the alarms won't go off.

"Thanks Mr. Bodyguard,"Amelia said as she smiled as she then headed over to the stair case that lead to her living quarters. The workshop area was bigger that the art gallery in the front half of the first floor of the building. "Okay, you can either stay down here and looked around in the workshop and the gallery while I change into some regular clothes or come on up and I'll show you where your room is before I change my clothes."Amelia gave him the choices as she began to climb up the steps with out waiting for a reply."And to think that I used to really like this dress before now,"she murmered to herself as she was half way up the stairs.

His stomach had grumbled at the mention of getting food. Why did it always seem like stomachs had seperate minds, seeing as how they answered for people when they were hungry. Snickering, "well my stomach definitly likes that plan." Raising an eyebrow at her, but smirking when she made the statement about older siblings"monkey outfit?? Interesting word to use for it. Heh, I can relate." Not that he'd ever say that about his sister. Noting the security system, "is that to protect your work, or yourself?" He really had to ask, why exactly did she need a bodyguard?

Grinning when he heard the 'Mr.bodyguard.' And now he wasn't sure of his answer, go see what would be his room, or stay here and look around? He followed her up the stairs, figuring he might get too side-tracked if he went looking around at what she had in the gallery. Tilting his head, "Oh? So you don't like the dress now, because you had to wear it today?" That seemed a bit odd...but understandable.

Amelia heard him following her up the stairs and when he asked about the security system."Both. There was a break-in about three years ago while I was at a family event.Then two months ago, I was working on a painting when two people break in into the gallery and this was at night and I was already dressed my night clothes. I was really involved on working on the painting when one of them came into the workshop and grabbed me from behind. His buddy took all the money out of the register and then loaded up their truck or suv with all the scrap metal that they could fit in their car."Amelia said as she unlocked the door to the living area and went in. She shivered at the memory and then continued the story."Once they were done with that, they both fondled me a good bit before my old alarm went off and then knocked me out cold on their way out."Not to mention the two stalkers that I had and that the last one tried to kidnapped me...

"Even thought I have a new system installed now, I'll feel better with having a bodyguard. Jamson, my eldest brother also gave me a deadline to find one for myself or he would have found one for me .What set him to do that was when someone tried to kidnap me last week in broad daylight mind you and almost got away with it if the crowd hadn't come to my rescue. About the dress, well, I still like it for the most part but there's times when it's a bit much."Amelia said as she passed by the kitchen and living room and went down the hallway.

The first door on the right was the guest bathroom that was connected to the guest bedroom. The door for it was further down the hall."This first door on the right is the guest bathroom which you'll be using and it's connected to the bedroom at well. The bedroom that you'l be using is the guest bedroom and we can redecorate it to you liking later."Amelia said as she opened the second door on the right that was to his room for him to look around in."The first door on the left side of the hall that we already passed is a hall closet and this door is to my music room and I used for other things as well but mostly music."She said as she opened the door that was right across from his room.Then Amelia opened the last door that was at the end of the hall which lead into her bedroom."Finally, this is my bedroom and now for me to change. It shouldn't take me long."Amelia said before closing the door behind her and then headed towards her bed where she already had something else to wear laid out.

As he was listening to her tell him about the various incidents, a low growl rumbled in his throat as she told him about the men 'fondling' her. He hated people like them and how they preyed on those weaker then them. Those that took advantage of others were just disgusting. "Nothing but scum...people like that, that's all they are is scum polluting the world."

"Heh, so your brother's very protective...can't say I blame him. Tch, you've really got the worst luck don't you. Kidnappings and break-ins...along with perverts...I have my work cut out for me huh." A devilish smirk played across Niko's lips, let someone try and pull something with him around. He was just itching to let out some frustration from being stuck in a cage for so long. Disgusting creeps, anyone tries to go after her and they'll regret it.

Poking his head into the room when she opened the door, listening as she said he could redecorate to his liking later. "Cool." It's not like the room was horribly plain, but still, redecorating it would be fun. Passing another door, "music room? boy you have a lot of jobs...or hobbies?" Whichever word was more suited, either way, she did a lot of artsy things. Which was pretty cool. And then tehy reached her room. Leaning against the wall outside, Niko crossed his arms across his chest while he waited for her.

It didn't take Amelia long to change out of her dress and into her light blue capris ant her dark pink tank top. Then she slipped on her white ballet shoes and grabbed her purse on the way out of her room."Yep, you do Niko. I am an example of a modern day damsel in distress. Maybe I jinxed myself from not majoring in music perfomanc like the rest of my family some how. Anyways my family is very talented in the music and I as well. I decided to be the oddball and try something different for a change with my visual art instead of my vocal art."Amelia said as she hadn't seen his devilish smirk from earlier.

"Every now and then I land a small singing job in a musical or in an opera. There's an audition next week for a musical that hasn't been on the stage in years and I'm really hoping to get a major part in it if possible. Plus, I sort of want to take a break from my visual arts for a bit."Amelia said as she walked passed Niko back to the living and grabbed her light white jacket."Ready to get something to eat Niko?"She asked as she then headed towards the same stair case from before.

Chuckling, "So I guess I'm the knight in this scenario, I have to fight off the dragons to keep the damsel safe. Anyway, at least you chose to do something different. When you follow a routine, life becomes dull."

"Oh really? What musical?" Following after she left her room, heading back towards the stairs. When she asked if he was ready to go eat, "Definitly."

"Yes to both, but sometime I do like going back to my roots every now and then."Amelia responded after she open the door to the steps and let Niko pass before closing it and locking it. Then she went down the steps and soon they were back outside after she reset the alarms and locked the side door again."The musical is The Phantom of the Opera. Ever heard of the musical before?"Amelia ask him as they were now walking on the side walk in front of her store. "There's four different restaurants in walking distance from here. One is Japanese, Mexican, American, and the last one is Greek. Which would suit your fancy Niko?"

His eyes widened briefly, "seriously, who hasn't heard of it. That's pretty amazing right there, and you're trying for the lead. Heh, pretty cool." When they were outside, she told him what was around and where would he want to go. Walking alongside her, keeping an eye out for any danger. "Hmm, those all sound good. I'm not really a picky eater, so I'm not sure. How bout American, haven't had burgers in awhile."

She should have known that he had but anyways."Alright, American it is then. Burger King here we come. It's been awhile since I had a burger too. Oh, with my aution, I'll be trying out for all the female leads at one time so i don't know which part I'll end up with if at all."Amelia said as she realy wanted the role of Christine but we'll see what happens next week after the tryouts. Amelia thought as she wonder if they will see that fairie again. Something about her rubbed me the wrong way and I have a feeling that she doesn't like me at all after what happened at the slave shop.

When she said Burger King, "great, they've got good stuff." Thinking about this, he remembered the last time he'd ever eaten there, that they had really good onion rings too. The memory made him lick his lips. Oh man, if I keep thinking about that food, I might start drooling. Hehe that wouldn't be good. Listening to what she said about her audition, he would've said 'Don't worry, you'll land a part.' But Niko hadn't heard her sing, so saying that would be sorta pointless. Though from what he saw of her art when they first walked into her place, she was good. "If your art back there was any indication of your singing talent, then I'd say you have no reason to worry."

"Thank Niko for your support there and here we are."Amelia said as they reached Burger King. They went in and got in line to order their lunch."Order what ever you want Niko." She told him as she knew what she wanted and that was their new bacon cheese steak burger combo meal. She tried it last week after making herself come down here to get a bite to eat after not eating all day. Sometimes she has the habit of not eating like she should when she in the middle of an art project.

Order whatever I want? Hmm, what should I get? Staring at the menu they had above, "that new thing they have looks really good." The guy behind the register called for the next in line, so Niko walked up with Amelia to order. "Can I get the bacon cheese steak burger combo meal, onion rings instead of fries please." The guy gave Niko a look like he wanted to say no substitutions, but instead he turned to Amelia waiting for her to order. Niko almost laughed at the look he was given, okay, so he was picky when it came to food sometimes, at least he wasn't like one of those people that gave ridiculous orders. Like, a burger cooked a certain way, and they wanted things left off of it that are usually there, or want other things on it that are just weird. At least he wasn't like that. And at least i said 'please.' Grinning, he looked at Amelia, wondering what she'd order.

"I'll have the bacon cheese steak burger combo meal as well but with fries. For my drink thought I want a large Icee cherry instead of the fountain drink." Amelia told the guy and he ranged it up. She paid for the food and he went and got her cherry icee and handed to her along with their ticket. He passed the cup for Niko to him. They moved away from the counter so Niko could fix his drink and to let the next in line order."Keep an ear out for our ticket number, 456."Amelia said before taking a sip of her icee.

Taking the cup and moving over to fix his drink. He chuckled a bit after hearing Amelia order. After filling the cup with orange soda, he went and stood next to Amelia, smirking. "If I didn't know any better, I'd think you were the one that hadn't eaten in days." Sipping his drink, he raised an eyebrow at her 'keep and ear out' comment. Jokingly, "Oh, poking fun at my ears now are you?" He was listening for their number anyway, and heard 455 called. Guess ours is next then.

She knew that he meant that comment about not eating in days in jest but it true with the exception of the bannana that she forced herself to eat early this morning. She didn't realize it but her face paled slightly for a moment, and then regained color when she laugh at his question about his ears."No, not trying to there Niko,"She replied before hearing their number being called and tried no to laugh as she went to get their food.
