Anubis opened her eyes later than normal, but sice they were still somewhat glued together by her tears, she wasn't truly surprised. She sighed and skimmed the clothes that she had that didn't have holes in them before claiming another black dress, a bit looser than the last one had been. To be able to shift, she obviously needed something larger.

Anubis left the house and slunked to where she could get breakfast. She was starved, and yet all she grabbed was a small amount of food.

 

[Makulino]

After the abrupt end of the phone call, Makulino puts the phone back in his back not paying any mind to her attitude for the matter was more important then her attitude. He slams the Mustang into sixth gear hurling towards the guild.

Arriving at the guild Makulino steps out of the car looking around at his surrounding area. With no potential danger he makes his way inside the guild.
Opening the door to the guild he sees the statues and artifacts from the previous Guild Masters lining the main corridor. Exiting the main hall he walks up a spiral staircase leading to a twenty foot tall metal door way. He raises his right arm and presses his palm forcefully on the door pushing it open leading to the Guild Masters Chambers.

Walking into the chambers the room is filled with ancient weapons, armors and artifacts from since the day the guild was first established. Making his way through the room he sits in the chair next to the window peering outside patiently awaiting Kate’s arrival rubbing the front of his medallion with his thumb.

He would have to go into the kitchen to get whatever was left of food. He grabbed a plate and a fork. There was some bread rolls and some fruit left. It wouldn't be enough to satiate his hunger but he would eat as much as he could. There was a generous helping of mixed fruit and about 4 huge rolls.

He put about half a roll in his mouth before even bothering to go sit down. Manners eluded him this morning. A couple people still filled the dining hall enjoying some conversation. A couple girls came flooding up to Nathan after being seated. One of the girls he had hooked up with a few weeks ago sat closely next to him as he ate. He really didn't have anything to say but they chattered amongst themselves while he scarfed down his food.

Well Kate definitely took her sweet time, she should have stopped and gotten something to eat but didn't. Her hunger could wait. Her stomach was used to not eating as soon as it woke up and the guild would have something that she could nab while she was there. Saber was sheathed on her back.

She parked the truck and got out slamming the door otherwise it wouldn't shut. She stretched and yawned again, apparently still exhausted. She trudged slowly up the steps to the guild. The flashy decor of the items inside made no difference to her. She ignored it and headed straight to the guild masters' quarters. She didn't even knock as she let herself in and sat down in a chair that was dark wood and the cushion had burgundy material on it. She didn't say a word as she eyed down the guildmaster, he should be able to tell she wasn't exactly happy to be there. She had never met this man before and really hadn't heard that much about him but she already didn't like him from the way he disturbed her this morning.

Anubis grabbed all of a peice of toast before finding a corner to sit in alone. She watched girls practically swarm Nathan all over again before taking a bite of the toast. The dry, rough toast took forever to go down her throaght, and by the time the first bit was down, Anubis simply couldn't eat any more of the disgusting food, so she tossed it into the trash. Anubis gave a final glance to Nathan before fleeing the all too crowded kitchen.

Nathan knew Anubis had appeared in the kitchen. And oh how he wanted to get up and leave the flunkies to themselves to go pursue her and apologize for last night but he couldn't pull himself to do it.

He sat there eating his food while the girls still clammered on. He ignored them and they didn't even care that he was there or not. When he was finished eating he went up and left the kitchen telling one of the girls to take care of his stuff, which they gladly would.

He didn't know what was on the agenda today so he left the keep to go sit outside and soak up the sun. He found a tree that he regularly frequented and laid his back against the main trunk after climbing up a branch or two. He ended up being about 6 feet off the ground feet dangling from the branch.

 

[Makulino]

Makulino chuckles as he watches her enter the room. Seeing her attitude in person fits everything he has noticed over the phone and through clients. Her attitude didn't bother him to much.

Makulino stands up from the chair and steps into the dim light peeking in through the window. He runs his left around through his thick silver hair as he lets out a deep breathe, and drops the medallion to his thick chest as he takes a couple steps towards Kate.

"So Kate, last night I had this vision that seemed so real, and familiar I don't know what to make it of it. The reason I have called you her and am talking to you about this is because the little girl that was in this vision i believe to be you.."

Makulino explains the vision and what all he saw, and how the medallion around his neck dimly lit the room right before the vision.

"Do you know anything of this vision and why I am having flashbacks of what seemed like your childhood?" Makulino asked her in a calm and mellow tone. He stands infront of her arms crossed and still hoping that she could bring to light something about this vision and how it had occurred to him.

Anubis managed to wander her way to one of the trees that was somewhat out of the way of everything. She hid there as a pup, and it was only out o habi that she found her way back there.

"God... Why do Pack guys have to be so horrid? I have to find a damned mate so... So my family isn't disgraced any longer and yet... Ugh..." Anubis pressed her palms to her forehead, aggravated. "God... Every damned guy... Oh, sorry, Pack gave me a mate. Oh, sorry, i have a mate. Dammit!" She slammed her head into the tree, tears threatening her again.

Kate raised an eyebrow as he brought up something. The Medallion around his neck that he was fondelling that it was a prized possession. Which granted the guy probably didn't even full comprehend what he had. And honeslty neither did Kate. Her father's magic radiated from the thing and Kate felt a horrible connection to it.

She hated her father with a passion for everything he did to her family. He was an abusive crazy a*****e that could never make up his mind. Kate had lived in hiding and would continue to do so but now this idiot had an artifact of her father's that he was not going to let him keep. She knew him, had eaten breakfast with the man. He was very possessive about his things and his women too.

"How do you know it was me?" Kate said skeptically.

She wasn't in the mood for possible situations and this guy knew nothing of her and she really wished to keep it that way. One day her father would find her and kill her. It was just a matter of time. Kate never wanted to harm anyone which is why she always lived by herself. Granted the vision was of her mother and father the night that he had killed her. She was grateful that Makulino didn't see everything as Kate had tried to suppress that memory as much as possible.

Nathan looked down and chuckled silently to himself. She appeared below him and it amused him. From the heighth he was at he could see clear down her shirt and the sight made him smile. He was such a pervert but man he would love to, nevermind.

He looked at Anubis trying to avoid staring down her shift but it was impossible for him. "We are only what you make us out to be." Nathan said with a smirk still on his face. "But if you want to mate that can be arranged." His cocky nature was back. He knew she was looking for long term but he could at least give her some temporary satisfaction. And he knew she would love it if she'd succumb to her animalistic nature. She shouldn't deny that she was attracted to him.

"Yeah, and end up like my mother." Anubis sighed, then realized all Nathan could see from his spot in the tree. She crossed her arms over her chest, glaring up at him. Sure, she was siting in the dirt and getting filthy, yet she was more worried about the guy lookin down her dress.

'Actually Anubis, that is the bigger issue. Get ahold of yourself.' She chided herself mentally, shaking her head, looking down at the grass. He really thought she would just let him taint her? No. She knew better, and yet a part of her liked it, the idea of it.

He frowned it was such a good sight to see and now he was missing out. He had to admit that he liked the challenge from her though. She was sitting in the dirt, dirty little girl he amused himself with the thought. He felt his eyes shifting into his panther eyes in a primal instinct. God he wanted her.

He smiled though he eyes glowing greenish yellow. "So are you saying if I came down there and kissed you you would deny me?" He asked testing the waters. He made no effort to move from the tree, yet.

Anubis raised an eyebrow.

"No ******** duh." She told him, rolling her eyes as she spoke. "So, don't you dare." Anubis warned, narrowing her eyes as she turned to look up at him again. But then, his eyes were those alluring ones she saw in her dreams. The taunting ones that made her want to give in to him. But she couldn't, she couldnt put her family to even more shame, could she?

She was lying to herself and he knew it. He continued to smile and find amusement in her desire. She was probably getting moist just thinking about him kissing her. It made him thrilled and pursuing her was fantastic. He finally jumped down from the tree.

"Well if your so convinced that you don't want some attention, then I'll just make my leave." He said hoping she'd change her mind. Anubis was sexy and the dirt on her outfit was getting to him, it gave her a rustic dirty appearance and he loved it. She didn't care to get dirty and he really did enjoy that. It meant he could take her anywhere.

"And just to let you know. The pack won't look down on your for making yourself happy." God knows how many women the pack leader had in his room at night.

The wolf girl bit her bottom lip slightly, debating on wether she should stop him or not. Well, if she wouldn't get in trouble, then that would be fine. Yet, a part of her was still terrified.

"You really like to taunt girls, dont you?" Anubis murmured, standing up. She reahed her hand out and took his hand gently. "If you walk away from me a third time, I do in fact think I'll go insane." She added, feeling an abnormal blush flood her pale cheeks. What could one little bit of fun do to hurt her?
