" That true, but if I have stayed there, I wouldn't be here doing Phantom instead. My friends that are also producers with me came to me right before I left Sweeney Todd about possibly doing Phantom. At first I wasn't sure as I wanted to stay at Sweeney Todd but then the issues there got so messed up I left. As you can see I'm here and glad for it." Jamson said back to her, before Niko came up to give Mel some water. " No, and that's a good call there Niko. Himiko, want a bottle of water? I was thinking of getting one myself before speaking to y'all." Jamson said to her, not wanting to get over heated himself or anyone in the show to get over heated for that matter.


"Thank you Niko, for the water."Amelia said before opening the bottle and taking a sip. She was watching the interaction between Jamson and Himiko. She wondered if either of them had any thoughts about the other in a romantic way. Now Mel coud be way off about that but who knows?

"Well, I suppose then it's better you're here now for Phantom. I mean this is such a large production, The Phantom of the Opera, so it seems more suited to your skills." To be working with such a big production, not to say Sweeney Todd wasn't a big name too, but Phantom was the biggest, so it was better. Nodding, "I can tell, I bet it helps that your sister is in the production too. You're both getting out there and showing off your talents." Saying she could tell he was happier with this production, working here. Looking at Niko as he spoke to Amelia and handed her a water bottle. Smirking at the two, she could practically feel the cute lovey dovey air around them, like a newly involved couple. "Adorable," stating plain and simple, probably confusing the two, if they heard her and had no idea why she had said just that word. "I'm Himiko, it's nice to met you," extending her hand to shake his a moment.

Looking to Jamson as he offered to get her a bottle as well. "That sounds great, wouldn't want to get too parched after all. How about I go with you to the vending machines." As a subtle way to say, let Amelia and Niko have a little time to chat before the rest of rehearsal continued.

Smiling, "you're welcome," glad he'd thought of the water bottles. Since he didn't want her getting too exhausted during the rehearsals, so having some nice cool water would be good. His ears twitching as he heard Himiko, blinking, looking confusedly at her. "Hi there...uh, Niko, how do you do." Introducing himself, though still confused still and curious, but she seemed to turn her attention onto Jameson shortly after. Looking to Amelia with an expression wanting to say 'that was random.'

"I am happier here, that's for sure. It's the first time that Mel and I get to work together in a production. We try to do our best, " Jamson said back to her, before raising an eyebrow on her comment about adorable and took the hint from Himiko. "Alright, let's go then." Jamson said to her, before heading with her over to the vending machines.


" So what do you think so far about the production so far? Getting to see all the behind the scene things."Amelia said, pretending not to know what Himiko meant. She knew what she meant by that and wasn't surprised by it. The question was, will one of the male leads might try to win her over possibly.

"That's nice, good to see you two siblings work so well together." Glad he seemed pleased to be working with his sister and vice versa. At least for the most part, since Amelia had to deal with some snarky ladies from the chorus. Smirking, seeing the look he gave to her remark, winking at him. Hooking her arm in Jamson's, even though he hadn't offered his arm to her, she just wanted to speed their walk a bit. Walking with him to the vending machines, "I figured we ought to give the love birds a moment to themselves." Letting his arm go, before pressing the button on the vending machine for water. Picking hers up, "Mhm, nice and cold," perfect for cooling one down during these rehearsals. Looking to Jamson, wondering if he might ask her anything, or just some small talk.

"It's really very cool, it's...er...uh what's that word, inspired? I mean....your performance and all, it's really amazing. Getting to see the workings of everything, and the put together." Chuckling sheepishly, as he was trying to sound all...fancy using a word like inspired. He was fine just saying it was cool, in simple terms, because it still meant he liked it. "You're great up there," smiling, complimenting and all. "And you and uh..Himiko, seem to be hitting it off pretty well? You seem like thick as thieves already," since Himiko had been walking arm in arm with Amelia. He had sort of ended that in a question, his remark about hitting it off well, because he wanted to make sure that was the case. That the two were getting along and it wasn't an odd...frenemy thing.

"Hopefully it will stay that way and not tearing at each other throats later on. " Jamson said back to her, hoping that his relationship with Mel will become better after working together possibly. "Well, I should have seen it coming a mile away after meeting Niko after she got him as her bodyguard. But I had hoped that Mel and my friend Ryo would become a couple. I highly doubt that that would happen now, seeing those two react together." Jamson admitted to her as she got her water bottle from the vending machine. Then he got one for himself as well.

"Thanks, I try my best and it's always good to see behind the the scenes to be able to appreciate the crew more. We couldn't do it all without them. "Amelia said back to him with a slight blush on her face from his words about her own performance."Yes, we are friends, thick as thieves in a way. I'll tell you more later about that. Shouldn't be concern about her trying to send bad vibes my way." She said to him, letting him know that she was a friend, not enemy.

"I doubt you two will have to worry about that changing ever. You don't seem the type to be a brute about anything, and your sister doesn't seem the type to throw hissy fits. So I doubt you two will be at each other's throats." Chuckling, since the two seemed like they had a good sibling relationship, maybe with a small bit of sibling tiffs here and there but nothing that could be tearing at each other's throats. "Aha, so instant sparks? Or at least you and everyone else was noticing the sparks. With those two, how cute and innocent like this that they are, the new lovebirds...I bet it took them awhile to start this budding romance?" Taking a sip from her water, as they chatted.

"Yea, I see that...makes sense when you see how it all comes together, all the practice...definitely better way to appreciate it all, especially as a viewer to the performance." Glad that Amelia confirmed her and Himiko were friendly, since he could tell some of these other cast members were pretty catty and snooty. Raising an eyebrow though as she mentioned telling him more about it later, "Oh? Alright, so we'll talk more on that later then. I'm just glad then that she's not one of those other snooty women. She's got...quite a fire to her though, it's a little intimidating, like she might take a person down a peg at a moments notice." Chuckling lightly, thinking how he would hate to be her enemy.

🎶 Jamson had take gulp of water into his mouth before her comment about him not not being a brute. It was all he could do not to to snort or laugh aloud. he manage to swallow the water before chuckling."Hahaha, Mel might disagree about that, me being a brute... Then again those times were about her safety though..." He said looking back over at Niko and Mel. A sigh escaped his lips before looking back at Himiko.."Let's say some things has happened in the past few years that I rather discuss later dealing with that topic. But since I am the musical director and one of producers, I might become a brute to get things done. I hope not, but we'll see how that goes."

"Oh she can throw a fit when she wants to, just depends on what going on at the time. She mostly on the quiet, shy type until you get to know her. Amelia has her own art gallery on Almond Avenue and next to the Magnolia Park. You should check it out one day soon. I could take you there even on one of our off days.'' Jamson said, not thinking that he might have suggested a date with each other indirectly. "Not sure if it was right off the bat but I could tell for sure that night after the attempted kidnapping on Mel last week that they had feelings for each other that goes deeper.... They are cute, aren't they?" Jamson said, taking a sip of water and then checking his watch.

🎼 "That's true, it still blows me away at times of how much the crew does for a show." Mel said to him before laughing at his comment about her taking a person down a peg. "Oh she certainly can do that, no doubts to that. I saw her do just that a few minutes ago with some snarly chorus ladies. I'm glad she's on my side." She said to him before taking another sip of water, wondering when the practice will begin again.

"Well then that's protective not brutish, it's just you being a good brother. Though I'm glad I could amuse you," when she made her remark about that, smirking to him. "We shall see then, whether you must eventually be a bit of a brute or not. Can't make a good show after all, without a bit of backbone when it's needed." Since one might have to take control sometimes if any of the performers were being difficult for him. Chuckling, "Aww well that's hard to imagine her throwing a fit, she seems like such a doll. Mhm a gallery? Well then I will have to check it out. I'm always on the lookout for a new bit of art for my place. Oh a personal escort hmm? My my, mr. musical director, you might a girl the wrong idea," chuckling teasing him. "But that sounds wonderful, I will take you up on that offer." A bit shocked to hear about the attempted kidnapping, "Goodness...well it's good she has that bodyguard then. Yes indeed they are very cute. Like little love doves," like they seemed all that cute and innocently in love like.

"It's really cool seeing how much gets done, and just how...seamlessly it all goes together when you guys actually open for the performances." Raising an eyebrow again, "Oh really? You'll have to tell me more about that later, I'd love to hear how she did that." How she took them down a peg, hugging Amelia, he gave a comforting little kiss to her forehead as he held her close for a moment. "I'm glad she's on your side too...it's good to have friends like that."

🎶 "Thanks for your vote of confidence in me on that score of not being a brute to her. We'll see how it goes for the show though.There's a lot of new faces here that I don't know. Usually there's more faces I that I do know in the shows that I'm involved with. " He said to Himiko."Well Mel does have a backbone when she wants to but sometimes she doesn't when she needs to have it." He said before her comments about being a personal escort for her to visit his sister's gallery. Jamson rolled his eyes but there was a very light blush on his cheeks."Glad that you are taking up my offer, I'm sure that you will like Amelia's artwork and take a few home with you. But now it's time to get the show on the road." Jamson said back to her before heading to the stage center to call practice back into order.



🎼 "That is true, sometime I can take it for granted, but I try not too. Yes, I'll do so later my darling." Mel said before he kissed her forehead and held her close. She enjoyed the closeness and this time together."It is and one day soon, we may have a girls' day out or night out or something like that." She said back to Niko, not knowing how Himiko and Jamson were hitting it off.

Nodding, "Indeed, and with Phantom being such a big production, there are definitly a lot of faces in the cast, a new crowd here. At least you have a few familiar faces around though." Smirking, meaning herself and Mel mostly. "Oh? Hmm...I can't wait to see one of those times when the backbone comes out. She looks like she can be a feisty one," chuckling thinking how interesting it'd be to see Mel have a reaction like that, see her get all feisty. Having a little coy smile, seeing the little reaction Jamson did have to her remark. "Well I look forward to it," having him escort her and buying up some nice pieces from the Gallery. Following him back to the stage to get ready, drinking some more from her water bottle on the way.

Niko holding her a moment longer, "that'll be good...maybe you, Himiko and Cammie can have a girls' day. You can all discuss performances and such." Or whatever they would chat about, since Cammie was a stage performer too like they were. And it would be good for Mel having some girl friends and his sister. Letting her go after a moment he started heading back to the stage with her, "Your brother and Himiko seemed to have disappeared on us...they're probably back and ready to practice more I guess. I'll be down in the front row, knock em dead." Winking, cheering her on in her rehearsal.

🎶 Another two weeks have passed and Jamson was on his way to pick out Himiko from her apartment. He was surprised at himself for asking her out indirectly two weeks ago. Then again, maybe it was time for him to date again as it had been a while since he had done so. It didn't take long for him to get to Himiko's apartment. He parked and then went instead her apartment building to pick her up. He found her room number and knocked on her door. Jamson hoped that she was still wanting to go with him to the gallery...


🎼 Mel was excided that Jamson and Himiko were coming over to the gallery today. It was good to see him spending time with some one besides family and at work. Mel like Himiko and wondered if things between Jamson and her might go beyond friendship."Hey Niko, do you think we should have some refreshments ready to go for when they get here?" She asked him, not knowing whether to do so or not.

Up and ready that morning, Himiko got herself together for that day's escapades. She was going to Mel's gallery with Jamson, something she smirked about. Pleasantly surprised that he had sort of asked her out, indirectly of course, but it was still an amusing turn of events. It would be fun today, and nice to get out and about to something other then rehearsals. Dressed casually, but nicely, her hair tied back, boots on and her jeans and a nice v-neck top. Grabbing her purse, she was ready to go and at the door already opening it to Jamson. "Well there you are mister director, thought you might have forgotten about little ol' me." Teasing him just joking around. "Shall we then~" Stepping out to head out with him.

Niko looked around as Mel questioned, "Hmm...I mean...it can't hurt right? I'll go get something from the kitchen...er...are they on a date or something?" He wasn't quite sure what was going on between those two. "Those two seem like an interesting pair...I mean, she'd certainly keep him on his toes," chuckling a little. Meaning just with Himiko's personality, things would never be boring for those two, with Jamson being serious like he was and Himiko's sass.

🎶 Jamson was still surprised at himself when he had asked Himiko out the other day practice indirectly. He hope that no one else has noticed but who knows? Anyways he was glad and slightly nervous at the same time. When was the last time that he actually went on a date period??? "Ah, our dear Carlotta, who can forget you?" He smirked back before taking her to his car.

"Yes, it not a long trip to Mel's gallery but just enough to take a car over there." He said, leading her to his car. He unlocked the car with the clicker and then opened the passenger door open for her. "Your carriage awaits my lady." He said after opening the door. Once she was in though, he closed the door and got in on the driver side and began to drive over to Mel's gallery.


🎼 " I agree, it couldn't hurt to have something out. There should be some spinach dip and chips we can use." She said, as she thought of what they had gotten from the store of late. "Yep, we'll see what comes of it or not. Trying to think of the last time Jamson was on a date.... Too long ago to remember now. "

Stephen had finish his jogging routine at the park neat to Amelia's place. It was one of his favorite places to jog. He was thinking about calling Cammie but called Mel first."Hey Mel, it's Stephen and I was wondering if I could stop by and take a quick shower since I'm at the park next to your place and just finished a jog--""Sure, come on over before Jamson gets here with his hot date.."]"What?!? Jamson on a date? I'll get my things from the car and I'll be there asap."Stephen said back to Mel, jogging over to his car to get his gym bag that had some shower things and some fresh clothing to change into. Mel let him in and told him to take the shower now before they got there. That he did, wondering who this woman might be to catch Jamson's attention...

Himiko fluttered her lashes and did a faux swoon, being silly as he said that, and called her Carlotta. Adding in that diva flare, being joking, "Yes quite right, I'm unforgettable after all dahling~" Doing a hair flip to boot, before she let out a little raucous laugh at her own antics. Getting herself settled in the car, teasing Jamson a bit, "Onward Jeeves~" As if he were the butler, as she got into the car, a.k.a 'carriage' as he joked back.

Niko nodding about the chips and dip, "Well...good on him then...to be getting out like this. And good luck to him, hope it goes well...and he's gonna need it. I think...she seems like a woman with a really strong will and a lot of sass. You and Stephen might need to be moral support for your older brother. He's gonna need it and be strong." Laughing a little, as he thought he was going to be in a run for his money with Himiko. At least maybe it would provide some amusement for Jamson's siblings. Wrapping his arms around Mel, smiling as he gave her a sweet kiss. "I can understand being with a woman with a strong will." Adding that as a compliment of sorts as he hugged her.

He saw Stephen come in as Mel let him in to shower and change. Shortly after, before he could go to the kitchen, Cammie showed up. "H-hey sis, is something wrong?" Since he wasn't expecting her to stop by, he had to wonder. But of course the siblings hugged, as he led her in. Cammie giggling, shaking her head "Oh no brother, nothing wrong at all. I just wanted to stop by and visit. Also to bring a little treat. I wasn't sure if you two would be busy. I got this lovely gift basket from the show I'm in from a reviewer. It's got some wonderful chocolates and little snacks and all that. I can't possibly eat it all myself, so I thought we could all enjoy some." Since reviewers of performances sometimes sent gift baskets to the performers to get in their good graces. It helped reviewers maintain good relationships with the sort of 'famous' individuals and get welcomed to things like cast parties and stuff. It was good to make connections.

"Oh okay that's cool then, yea um Mel is just getting things ready for her brother Jamson he's bringing a fellow performer in Mel's show. A woman named Himiko, to see some of Mel's art. I was just gonna get out some chips and dip from the kitchen. I'll take this into the kitchen and set everything up. You go relax," Cammie stating she was going to go use the restroom and then sit and relax. Niko bringing the gift basket into the kitchen to where Mel was, "Hey my sister just got here...she brought some extra goodies with her. Looks like you're gonna have a party on your hands today." Chuckling, as it seemed all the siblings and their dates would be here today.

Cammie had gone to look for the restroom, not realizing, as Niko had forgotten to tell her...that Stephen was there showering. She had just walked into the room as he was finishing up. Seeing he was about half dressed, his pants on but shirtless. Cammie felt a heat as she went red from like her head to her toes. Blushing, a little wide eyed, "OH S-stephen I'm sorry I didn't know you were in here!" Almost letting out a shrieky squeal in surprise, her voice a bit pitchy as she turned, bringing her hands to her cheeks all red. Scurrying from the room, to hide her flush, she got all flustered.
