{Bobbi .:. Angel Grove .:. City}

Bobbi barely had time to notice that Terra had dodged her spell before she felt a sharp impact from behind, followed by a burning sensation. She cried out in pain, caught off-guard by Axel's sneak attack, and stumbled forward a few feet to land face-down on the concrete, hissing in pain. She wasn't sure if it would work, but she quickly manifested a thin sheeting of ice to cover the burn wounds, and rolled over to kick out at Axel.

"You jerk!" she shrieked. "That hurt!"

She saw one of the new Earthlings she'd met for a brief moment before she'd gone back to Disney Castle rush at Axel in an attempt to get him off of her, but since he was kind of right freaking there, she was kind of having issues.

She yelped in surprise as a jet of water erupted from the ground in front of her, obviously intending to shove Axel away from her like the other Earthling's attacks.

"Dude, Axel!" a voice called from off to one side. "That's no way to treat a girl!"

I never thought I'd say this, but thank goodness for Demyx... Bobbi thought. But now I'm all wet...

{James, Luxord : Caribbean Sea : The Black Pearl}

A shiver ran down James' spine for only a second as he felt the increase in darkness and looked around trying to pinpoint it but could not. He came to attention though and smiled as Noelle placed the seed in the palm of his hand, of course she had no idea what he was doing. He wasn't even entirely sure himself, but it was worth a try. At least she trusted him, he was always relieved about that fact.

"If it works... you'll know." He replied, wrapping his fingers around the small seed.

He closed his eyes bringing the hand that held the seed up next to his face at eye level, focusing intently.

'I can feel it... there is mana, energy inside of this seed. Dormant though it may be. I just need to direct that energy into the hexagun and...'

As he began to imagine the energy from the seed flowing into the gun, the seed began to glow a bright green color, the light escaping from the cracks in between his fingers.

'It's working!' Fenrir called out in James mind.

James pulled the trigger and the six bullets erupted, although he noticed they looked more like seeds. They expanded and the six seeds formed a wide net of vines in between each other and the vines were flying straight at Xaldin. If the Brier Trap made contact, they would wrap tightly around Xaldin, hopefully binding him.

James learned Brier Trap

Luxord ignored Jacob's taunts, seemingly bored with the young man now. He had proven no match for him. He scanned the battlefield, just in time to notice Joe coming at him in an axe kick. He moved to the side just in time to avoid a headshot, though it still caught his shoulder.

"Grah! Nice shot!" He exclaimed as he jumped out of the way. Summoning more cards to throw at Joe.

{Leon : Angel Grove : City}

Leon had expected the General to block the attack, she was a skilled fighter, he had had no doubt of that fact. He was surprised though that she didn't counterattack, though he wouldn't show it as he waited for her to make a move again. He watched intently as her body became enveloped in darkness, something she had obviously gained from Ooze's control. His attention was focused on her blade though as she held it to the side and spun, unleashing a wave of darkness at them. Leon raised his gunblade, bracing it with the palm of his left hand along the backside of the blade and planted his feet. The blade cut through the darkness, though the wave continued on shattering the Lotus Shield behind them. His focus was still on the general, knowing of the people they were facing she was the one he could go toe to toe with the easiest.

He charged forward, hoping that Nick's shots would distract Beatrix as he slashed at her back from behind.

Jacob ll Black Pearl

"Not so fast!" Jacob was filled with fire again as he took a sprint off the captain's deck, planted off the mast with a foot and a hand, and rolled to greet the nobody. "Go home." He said passionately as he retracted his hand for a torque-powered shotgun style of ten daggers at near point blank range. Jacob hoped the blow dealt to Luxord was enough to stumble him so that he could deal some real real, piercing wounds.

[Larxene :: Caribbean Sea :: Black Pearl]

The Savage Nymph vaulted away, giggling all the while as she put some distance between her and the Knight. She cartwheeled across the deck; summoning a lightning storm around her as she did so. The barrage of lightning served as a barrier from Dawn's Garuda; lest the giant bird wanted to have her claws and feathers singed by attacking the nobody. She dodged all the Banish waves, but couldn't help the fact that a few grazed her sleeves or cheeks. It didn't cause much worry for Larxene.

"Nice try! Now, it's my turn!"

Larxene's knives sailed through the air, each one with a beam of lightning sailing after it. If any of the knives or electricity streams made contact with Kyle, all the bolts would suddenly move to concentrate on the swallow-wielder. The nobody's hand lashed out towards Dawn to fire a few jolts of lightning to distract the summon towards her summoner.

[Dawn : The Caribbean Sea : The Black Pearl]

Dawn let out a startled gasp as the two nobodies stabbed her in the back, one after the other. She fell forward onto her knees, causing the effect of her dance ending as well. She looked back at the two nobodies that hit her. She threw one of her fans at the head of one of the nobodies, to do it some damage. Dawn used her second tessen to summon wind that blew one of the nobodies overboard (The one that was previously damaged) and send the second nobody in the direction of Anthony.

She was about to raise her weapon to finish off the fiend, when she heard a loud bird cry from Garuda. Dawn looked up as Garuda got trapped within Larxene's thunder.Dawn closed her eyes as she dismissed her summon, and free her from Larxene's trap.

'I am sorry Garuda, but I can't risk losing you,' Dawn said to her summon.

[Kyla: Angel Grove: Streets]

Well, good thing was, she apparently was able to contain both Yuffie & Axel within her shields if need be- the bad news was Kyla’s magical strength didn’t hold a candle yet to Beatrix’s. Wasn’t surprising, she remembered how much she pwned everyone back in the games. Too bad you never got to play as her very much.

The sword mage made it very clear who was the superior of them when she shattered her shields like stain glass windows, and sent a terrifying backlash through the connections of mana back into the pictomancer. Gasping Kyla nearly dropped her book as the fire seared under her skin. Though it was only for just for a moment, it was enough to distract her for a split second.
Which was plenty of time for someone as swift as Yuffie to make her attack. Using Kyla’s blind spot was smart, and even if she did see her coming, Kyla’s physical reflexes were nothing compared to the ninjas. Add to that the fact she was being amplified by the mind control, yup, there wasn’t anything she could do.

The pictomancer’s didn’t even have time to cry out as the shuriken found its mark, the dark aura boosting the level of impact. If she hadn’t used her Warding Lotus before, it could have been a fatal wound.
Thankfully, it was just a severe one…. Thankfully.
The blade sliced into her body like a hot knife, the fabric splitting and crimson spilling into the air as it sliced across from her side-up- across to the shoulder.
Dear God she was lucky it didn’t cross her spine. That would have been the end of it!

She staggered and fell over, body twitching for a second. In the back of her mind she could hear her summon screaming- not impressed. The cyan hue summon leaped out in a glitter of ruby tinted light and charged the ninja ferociously!

“No! Tyue- wait! It’s not her fault! I-aah!” Kyla rolled over to her side, and then pushed herself up as Tyue got between them, biting and snapping, charging the jewel on her forehead to use ‘Searing Light’. Since Yuffie, Axel and Beatrix were using Darkness tinted attacked, the opposing element maybe more effective.

Kyle called out to Amy, asking her to cover Kyla and she appreciated the sentiment- besides, Amy might be just as fast as Yuffie now. Seymour was casting haste on them- Good idea!
Turning around to face the ninja, Kyla re-summoned her book to her hand. “Tyue! We need to get faster too!” The summoned didn’t need to be asked twice. Canceling its Searing Light the creature leaped and back flipped into the air. Turning the page to a sketch she had made earlier, she brushed away the color of the jewel and replaced it.
Correspondently, the jewel on her real summons’s head changed its tint from a glittering ruby, to a lush emerald color. The green tinted light showered down over the artist
.

[Carbuncle has learned: Emerald Light! Effect - Haste]
With a major spell used, the summon vanished back inside her charge, leaving Kyla with Yuffie and hopefully on a better footing.

Sayrike::The Black Pearl

Sayrike had a fun time trying to dodge the lightning raining down from Larxene, or whatever her name was. She had only played the first Kingdom Hearts multiple times and the second game and Chain of Memories only once, meaning she wasn't always too sure about their names or what they did. She thought this was Larxene. Wasn't it? Sheesh, she could remember details about the oddest things, but when it came to names...

For the most part, Sayrike tended to stay out of fights. It was too troublesome, too much effort for a result that didn't aid either side. However, in this moment, she had a debt to repay. Anthony had gone above and beyond, willing to jump off a boat to save a stranger. No one had really sacrificed themselves for her before, except for her mom. It was rare for even best friends to do it. But Sayrike wasn't like that; even if she was too busy, she'd go out of her way to help someone at her own personal loss. She thought fondly back on her mother, from whom she probably picked up the trait. So, when Anthony committed the gesture of sacrifice, she felt warm inside, knowing there was someone like that on the same side as her.

She was willing to enter the fray to help a guy like him out.

Sayrike scanned the ongoing battle, choosing carefully. Ah, there! The Dragoon Nobodies! She turned towards them, concentrating, watching their every movement, from the way they handled the lances to the burst of energy before they disappeared and crashed downwards.

Inhale. Exhale. I can Learn this.

Knowledge about the Dragoon's attack rushed into Sayrike's mind. So when Dawn sent the Nobody toward Anthony, she knew what to do--she had to Jump. Grinning, she vanished, mirrors and all. Less than a second later she came soaring downwards from above the Dragoon, holding a lance and driving it home into the Nobody. With a grunt she landed in a defensive stance in front of Anthony, lance gone, mirrors appearing and at the ready.

[ Xaldin ; Kyle ; Sora ; Kuja ; Zexion : Caribbean Sea : Black Pearl ]

Xaldin braced himself temporarily as the sound waves, grunting as sonic blast shoved him a foot or two away from Sora. Due to Quistis' attack, Xaldin's attention was torn from the Keyblader, and felt the rushing wind coming his way. He glanced over, and saw the familiar pale entity rushing his way.

Oh, hey knew all about the Geists. Summoning his other three spears to form a spinning barrier in front of him, Xaldin stepped backward in order to keep some distance- only for Noelle's own spear to gash through his arm. The Whirlwind Lancer roared in rage, sounding almost identical to the dragon's roar from before, and as he turned to face Noelle, he noticed (too late) the Brier Trap coming his way.

The vines wrapped tightly around him, but he kept himself standing, the spears in his hands getting twisted in the trap.

Sora groaned, finally standing to his feet, glancing around to size up of what was going on. He noted, with a gulp, that the wind around Xaldin was beginning to pick up violently, razor winds shedding the rope and pushing back anyone who dared get close. He threw up his Keyblade in order to protect himself, slowly pushing forward.

Kyle growled once again as he rolled and hid behind the mast, avoiding the lightning and the kunai. This was insane; the moving ship, the storm, the fact that it was three of them instead of one... Even working together, they weren't doing much.

Dammit, Kuja, Zexion, where are you?!

Glancing around to the helm, where he'd last spotted Kuja, his jaw dropped; once again, Kuja was casting his most powerful spell- Ultima. No wonder he'd been quiet. A massive portal was opening, and within moments, Kuja would give some witty, self-absorbed one liner and end the fight once and for all.

Kyle couldn't help himself- he chuckled, sighing in exasperated relief.

"It's time you fell back into oblivion!"

This was it! He couldn't stop smiling, they were gonna take out three at once-

Without warning, however, all magic and magic-related things suddenly died. Heartbound weapons were desummoned and could not be resummoned; all the Heartless that had been summoned seemed to recoil, as if suddenly waking up, no longer under Louis' control; any enchantments suddenly died off...

But only for the heroes. For Xaldin, Luxord, and Larxene, nothing changed.

"Wha- WHO DARES?!" Kuja shouted, thrusting his hands up into the sky, as if trying to stop the portal from shrinking. But nothing seemed to work- even Kuja, their most powerful mage... was powerless.

The grate covering the lower hold burst open as a strange, twitchy machine flew into the sky, a few dozen meters over the deck and out of reach from anyone. Slowly following it was none other than Zexion himself, arms off of his side as he hovered up, floating in midair and reaching the deck with an eerie grace.

"Took your precious time, as usual, Zexion," Xaldin said, walking over to the Cloaked Schemer, a sinister grin on his features.

"It needed some reprogramming for the newer members," he responded coldly, apathetic to the sudden shocked glanced of both Kyle and Sora, and likely everyone else.

There was another brief surge of Darkness, and suddenly a large, hulking mage Heartless appeared behind Prote, blasting the Geist with a Blizzaga spell in order to remove any possible energy he had remaining.

In the distance, from within the storm, the lightning illuminated an eerie silhouette... the shadow of a ship was nearing.

[Joe: Caribbean Sea: Black Pearl]

The male jumped and twisted in the air, dodging the cards by sliding through between them with but a hair's width between him and one of them. And then he landed on the deck. Hard. And on his shoulder. Not like planned.

The hell? The hell did my landing go?

Joe stood, hand going out to the side for his bo...and got nothing.

"What the hell?!"

The male tried to fire a wind blade at the gambler, and got nothing. The buzzing in his head, the noise of Sylph that he was used to, was completely gone. His head was silent, and the wind around him was gone. Or rather, it wasn't 'his' wind that was around him. And looking around, he noticed the flying machine, teeth gritting. It was the f***ing magic-nulling-thingie from Final Fantasy X! What the hell was that doing--

"Oh you've got to be f***ing me."

Zexion was now a bad guy? What the hell?! And he was useless now....

No, he was still strong, and still had his feet.

The male bolted over to Luxord, foot going up in a high kick for the gambler's head. Of course, the male had forgotten he no longer had extraordinary balance and toppled backwards on his a**, hit or not.

[Jenny :: Caribbean Sea :: Black Pearl]

What luck. Just what luck. Xaldin dodged and continued on his merry way as if she had just been some thorn on the side of the road. Not even in his side. Jenny gritted her teeth, ready to just about summon a maelstrom of meteors to bash in Xaldins head when she heard a strangled cry. The mage turned just in time to see Garuda disappear back into her summoner.

"Dawn!" Jenny rushed over to the dancer, letting the music envelop her in a song. Most of the wounds reversed their time, making it seem as if Dawn had never been touched by the attacks. "Are you alright?"

The Nobodies were relentless, how were they possibly going to win this one? Jenny tightened her grip on her weapon, as she glanced around for some kind of ... something! Her eye caught unto Kuja, and she felt some sort of hope bubble back inside of her before her flute disappeared. Jenny glanced down at her now empty hand, attempting to resummon to no avail.

Siren?... Siren? What's going on?

The flautist asked and was rewarded with silence... an uneasy silence that brought up bad memories. Why couldn't they talk to their summons?! Jenny followed the Negator's flight high above the ship with an uneasy look. Holy fudgecakes. Jenny chewed at her lip as she glanced down to Dawn, thankful that she cast the healing spell before all the shenanigans flew loose. "We're in deep voodoo..."

To make matters worse, Jenny couldn't keep the shock off her face as Xaldin talked to Zexion like... like they were buddies in the womb! She thought Zexion had changed! He had helped them! They had trusted him! The mage narrowed her eyes and clenched her now empty hands, if there was one thing she couldn't stand... it was people that didn't signal while changing lanes and backstabbing friends! "YOU TRAITOR!"

{James : Caribbean Sea : Black Pearl}

James watched as his experimental shot took effect, he opened his closed hand to find that the seed was gone. In it's place, was an elemental card, colored green with vines on the face-up side. He quickly pocketed it and raised his gun, about to take a shot at Xaldin as he was bound. However, before he could do anything though, his hexagun vanished from his hand.

"What the...?" He asked, looking around, seeing that everyone else of their group was in the exact same situation.

That was when his attention focused on the strange machine that burst forth from the lower hold. He recognized it from Final Fantasy X and immediately figured out what happened.

"A negator... this is not good..." James muttered quietly, his attention focusing on the Cloaked Schemer who had apparently set the thing up.

'He betrayed us! I should have seen it coming!'

His hands clenched tight into fists in rage, He was surprised though by the lack of a reply from Fenrir, surely the Lunar Wolf was also angry...

'Fenrir!? He called... 'Fenrir Answer me... Oh no...'

He hated this feeling that now filled his stomach, he realized that the negator had of course also cut off his connection to Fenrir, it was just like when he was under that twisted spell...

"I should have known, we couldn't trust you after all!" James yelled in a rage, if he could right now he would have shot Zexion in the head.

{Luxord : Caribbean Sea : The Black Pearl}

Luxord was just about to call forth his Gamblers to intercept Jacob's barrage of daggers. However, that was when Zexion released the negator and the daggers disappeared right before making contact. He chuckled some, simply moving out of the way of Joe's attempted attack.

"That would be check and mate! You Lose!" He called confidently.

{Auron : Caribbean Sea : The Black Pearl}

Auron watched as the negator appeared and all of children lost their weapons and magic. Auron though, was unaffected. His eye narrowed intently at Zexion, rage evident on his face as he charged forward.

"Traitor! You will pay!" He called out as he charged forward, attempting to cut down the Cloaked Schemer.

[Dawn : The Caribbean Sea : The Black Pearl]

Dawn glanced up at Jenny as the song of time washed over her and healed her of her injuries. She smiled at the time mage as she stood up.

"Thanks Jenny," Dawn said as she readied herself for another attack, when she spotted Kuja in the distance readying himself for a spell, "...and thank you Kuja..."

'...I never really expected to hear myself say that one...' she thought with a slight twitch.

~'Sunli-'

Dawn blinked when she heard Garuda's voice then nothing. It was as if Garuda was... gone. Though Garuda had only been a part of her for less then a day, Dawn felt empty not feeling her within her heart. If loosing contact with Garuda wasn't enought, Dawn's Tessen disappeared from her hand. She looked over to see the Negator and Zexion. The machina, she recalled it from Final Fantasy X. But why? Why was it here? And Zexion... he brought it here.

Dawn's eyes widened as her mind put the pieces together, Zexion had betrayed them.

"What have you done?!" Dawn shouted in the direction of Zexion.

Dawn's protective side took over as she grabbed hold of Jenny's arm and pulled her behind her. She may not have her weapons or Garuda, but she could still slap someone if they got too close.

[Larxene :: Caribbean Sea :: Black Pearl]

Larxene grinned widely; letting a wild laugh rip from her mouth. Normally she'd be ticked if someone messed with her prey but the faces of the Earthlings... just too priceless. Their shock! Too good! She's could've taken care of all of them easily, the entrance of the Negator just spiced things up.

The Savage Nymph threw a smile at Zexion as Xaldin walked out to meet the Schemer. "Look at them, so breakable now... as if they weren't before."

Sayrike::The Black Pearl

"Well, hell."

The mirrors in front flickered out of existence. She no longer felt the connection to them, like they were there, lying in wait in her heart, aching to be used...but Sayrike just couldn't reach them. She guessed it had to do with that weird contraption that came out with that one Organization member...Ze---something. The one who had been cold toward her earlier. Sayrike hadn't questioned the inclusion of Organization members in the group, simply because she thought the laws of the Kingdom Hearts universe had dissipated to some degree--heck, weren't the defeated Organization members brought back to life?---and the fact that the group had taken him in surely must have been because he had chosen to be good.

She was wrong.

She should have thought more about these things. Now she was going to have to second-guess everyone in the group. So much for finding refuge; it was almost as bad as being in Port Royale, always having to watch her back. Now that Sayrike really gave it a good think, how well did she actually know any of these people? Maybe Anthony and Jenny and Noelle, since she had significant interaction with them, and she tended to be a good judge of character after some contact. But not the others. For instance, wasn't Kuja a bad guy?

But these musings would have to be put aside for later. Switching mental gears, Sayrike ran through the quandary: they didn't have magic. And, judging by Joe's graceful display, they didn't have any sort of special abilities either. They were ordinary humans again, which was slightly scary when in a fantasy world. Glancing at Sora, she noticed he didn't even have his Keyblade out. Did that mean it was gone too? The negation contraption was too high up for anyone to reach, and the villains would be untouchable---not that they had nearly been so already. There really only seemed to be one option, one that only she and Anthony knew about.

Dang it, and I was almost dried off.

"So, Anthony...how do you feel about taking a swim again?"

Because, as Sayrike's logic went, if the water was as fishy as they thought it was, it mean they couldn't be too far from potential help.
