[Your Missing Period]

The hare listed things off quickly as he picked up the pace in his step, mind moving quickly through items and objects. He found some of the maids and they quickly knew it wasn't Ipo by how he requested things for the king's travel. This was Kashi, Kashi was the servant who took his job seriously when it came down to it. He moved around, asking questions, muttering and bouncing the lists off Tsume.

"Mr. Von Willow?" the teen finally paused to look at a maid who was quite obviously older than himself. "A package has arrived for you, it's in the front hall."

"Thank you." and moved through the hallways again, looking at the large crate with a crowbar already on it. What was in it that required a crowbar? Oh well, he took it and without the wolf's help opened it, looking at the guns inside. He hesitated, taking a breath. "We'll need to deliver these to everyone that is going." he murmured, taking off his jacket and pulling out a holster, adding it to his waist like he'd dealt with them before, and in a vision he had last night, he had. "Are you going to carry one, Tsume? We already have the upper hand with Reta with magic, but you can never be too careful."

Elliot laughed and nodded. "The biggest bag they own, I promise." and continued walking, finding a small group around the almond seller. "I did. Protecting you is right next to loving you, Leo. Trust me." and smiled, giving him another kiss which seemed to cause more happy cheers. "It's the most protection and love I could give you." and they reached the man, a large bag placed on the counter before Elliot could even order.

"An early wedding present." The man said.

Ellito smiled "Then perhaps you should cater these to the wedding as well."

Tsume helped everywhere he could, moving things here and there and doing what he was able. he took a step back from the crate when the contents were reveled. "you would really ask me if i am going to carry the cursed things that killed hundreds of my people and forced Leo's Mother into the comatose state she is in today?" he shook his head and took another step back, "Carry them if you feel you must, but i will not touch the things."

Leo blushed as he was kissed again, the cheer making him uncomfortable. to go from being a bentien, where he would be tortured and raped in from of jeering crowds to cheers at a simple kiss was too much for him to handle right now. "Stop it-" he hoped Elliot would pick up that he wasn't just being shy, that he really didn't like it. the almonds helped brighten his mood, "oh! thank you so much, sir. i've found myself quite addicted to these." he made Elliot carry the bag, he himself not technically suppose to carry heavy weights, but snagged a couple while they were still hot and ate them happily.

Kashi looked down. "I can carry it because I have no abilities nor can I shift." he explained, shaking his head and turning to a maid. "One in every trunk and suitcase, have Sivaldi place a spell on the cases, only those that traveled with them can open them." and looked back at Tsume. "Pack your things, we'll be departing soon."

Elliot nodded, thanking the man once more and walked back, eating a few himself. "They seem happy that we're married." he said finally as they entered the gates to the castle grounds. "But a marriage in winter is sort of a bad idea, there are low food rations and we might not have any when Winter is over."

"None in Elliot or Leo's," Tsume ordered, "they have no need of such things." Leo wouldn't be able to handle having one so near. "i've little and it is already packed. i never really unpacked after all."

Leo gave Elliot's hand a squeeze, "Falia shall help with that. there is never a season where we are without, the forest is always in bloom." he was getting a little excited, but the coming trip was preventing him from being truely happy for what was to come.

Nix stood in the hallway, waiting for their return. "i'm not going." she looked at Leo, stubbornness in her ice blue eyes, "I won't go there and you can't make me. i'm going back to Falia, Hasta will take me through the shadows. i can't go there, brother it's too-my mind, everyone's thoughts will consume me. i can't be around people like that-"

Leo let go of Elliot and hurried to hug his little sister, "i understand. it's ok, you don't have to come, Nix. i was going to send you back to Falia anyways...actually." he turned to Elliot, "i was going to offer for your sisters to go with her. it's not safe to leave them here alone and at least in Falia they will be guarded with both weapons and magic."

Kashi frowned at Tsume. Even Elliot's ice could melt after so long and Reta was a highly industrialized city. "None in Elliot's or Leo's, then. Make sure they're in everyone else's, and remember the spell." You could never have to much protection, the hare thinking some more now taking in the gunless Leo and Elliot. "We need to check the carriages. There's me, you, plus four equals six, plus two more eight." Who were the other two? Eight people between two carriages, no doubt Kashi was going to drive the two princes' carriage. But what of the other one?

"Would your country accept many people from my country or would they come bearing gifts? I'd hate to have people travel so far to Falia and vice versa." He did not like it at all but he did want to get married in his own country, it was selfish of him. Perhaps there was neutral ground close by? No, the only close place was Reta and Elliot wanted nothing to do with that country at his wedding. "We can discuss this on the trip to Reta. To ease our minds." and squeezes his hand in return, a servant opening the door. "it appears we shall be leaving today." he said, watching the people move quickly around outside, and inside was just as chaotic, Elliot just catching Kashi and Tsume moving quickly down a hall, a crate moving with them.

But Nix was there and Leo left to tend to his sister. No, the girls wouldn't be coming whatsoever. "I was actually going to ask if Hasta could protect them, as much as I hate him." he said, thinking and looking away. "It would be preferred, however. You would have to discuss it with my father, though I agree with is in their best interest."

Tsume moved to Leo and slipped a hand over the other's left, smiling warmly at him to show his approval. he received a smile in return nodded before going to help Kashi.

Leo nodded, "if it is ok with your father then i shall summon Hasta immediately. though we should have the girls get ready. Nix, will you go and talk to them please? tell them to only pack a few things, they will be provided clothing when they get there."

Nix nodded and gave Leo's hand a squeeze as well, "i'm glad it fits." she smiled before hurrying away, "Thank you, Elliot, Leo." she head to the girl's room to 'ask' if they wanted to go to falia tonight.

Leo went back to Elliot and smiled, "We also should tell your father about your little announcement earlier."

"We'll go find him now. He can't be that far." And keeping ahold of the claimed hand he searched through the more commonly used areas before finding them in the Prime Minister's room, the king putting pants a pair of pants properly on the Prime Minister. "Can we interrupt?"

"Of course, El." Alvaro said, finishing up and dusting them off. He really hadn't worn them in a while. "What is it?"

Annabelle's smile almost tore her face in half. "I GET TO GO TO FALIA!" she screamed happily.

Emily looked just as excited, though was less verbal about it. "What do I pack? What books do I bring?"

The only one not excited, Martha, who was looking at Nix like she just told her that it was illegal to have short hair.

LEwis rubbed his hands up and down his hips unhappily. he'd been quite for a while now, silently brooding about what was coming and what they were going to have to do. his eyes fell on the ring almost immediatly and widened. "i think they have something to tell us, Al."

Leo smiled at the men and glanced up to Elliot, deciding to do his part first. "I was wondering if i could have your permission to place your daughters under Falian protection. I am having Hasta transport Nix to Falia tonight, he could take the girl easily if we have your permission."

Nix smiled at them, knowing that this sense of unease and sickness would fade when she was on her home soil. "we've thousands upon thousands of boooks, Emily. you can pack your favorite, but i think you will be too busy reading ours to read it. I was hoping you would wear some of my clothing and we'll be able to get you some of your ow, of course, Anna." she looked at MAtha with worry and walked over, "is there something wrong? do you-do you not want to go?"

Alvaro nodded. "I actually really wanted to ask you that myself. Didn't want to force it on you. But yes! It's splendid! I love it! You have my permission and the cabinets' and the minister's!"

"S-Secondly!" Elliot said, face suddenly red with embarrassment.

"Oh, that's a lovely color." The king pointed out with a smile.

"I-I asked Leo to marry me and he said yes." and he looked away, for a moment looking like the child Alvaro remembered him as with his large ears lowered and silver eyes down.

"Well that calls for congratulations doesn't it?"

The other two girls began quickly packing, Martha sitting on her chair, frowning at Nix. No, she didn't want to go, she had to stay here and protect the house if everyone else was going to the Retian king's party. "Ipo calls it being closed minded." she said. "But I'll go. He said even I might have fun doing something I think I won't like."

Lewis smiled and walked over, giving both Elliot and Leo a small hug. "congratulations, both of you." it hurt, it really did. they were having children, they were getting married-all the things he and Al could never do Leo and Elliot were doing without second thought. "we'll have to get roaring drunk tonight as we travel! what say you, Al? will you let me off my leash just this once?" he desperately needed to get completely and totally black out drunk and stay that way this entire trip.

Leo nodded, "thank you. they will be safe there, i was thinking of sending them to the Unicorn Valley, it is the safest place within our borders and i'm positive the girl would like it." at the announcement, he too blushed, but Lewis' hug pushed the man's tumbling emotions onto him and he had to hold tighter to Elliot's hand. jealousy, pain, fear, longing-those were just a few that tumbled about inside the poor man. "i can't, but Elliot might like to."

Nix had a feeling she knew why martha didn't want to leave, even without reading her mind. "you know, Falia will need protection just as much as here. and we can continue our training there as well. would you like that?"

"Thank you, Uncle." Elliot hugged the man back with one arm, wondering briefy when he'd become so small. he had always looked bigger, more broad, as a child. "Really, it means a lot."

Alvaro chuckled, looking at the group. "I'll have them pack some wine as well in means of celebration. I'll make sure it varies in tastes, since everyone that will be travelling has different tastes as well." Strong for Lewis and weaker for Elliot and probably Kashi as well. Neither liked to drink much. "Unicorn Valley, you say?"

"I certainly enjoyed it." Elliot said. "I'm sure the girls will enjoy it moreso."

Marth continued to stare.

"Really, Martha. It's not that bad. Brother, Father, even the teacher says to explore new words is to open our minds." Annabelle said. "And Ipo did say yours was closed tighter then an unripe chestnut."

"I said I'll go." she said simply. "I've nothing to pack if we're wearing their clothes."

Lewis returned to Al, a dreamly look on his face, "unicorns? i'd like to meet one-oh, but i'm too dirty. they only come to virgins, right? i'm nothing near one of those!" he laughed and it was clear his mind was slipping away.

Leo nodded, "yes, they are some of the most powerful of my people, rivaled by the demons and the dragons. they will take in the girls with delight." he didn't know what to do for Lewis, how could he heal a broken mind?

Nix smiled, "i'm glad you're coming. trust me, you will like it. i'll even take you to the smiths so you can see how all of our weapons and armor are made. oh, and i can take you to the weavers, Anna, so you can see how they spin flowers into cloth. I bet you'd like to visit our scholars, Emily. they are always looking for a fresh mind to talk to."

"If they spoke to Elliot I doubt they go to virgins, Lewis." and kissed his head, signalling the other two to leave now.

Elliot nodded, taking Leo with him. "Let father correct him. There is little we can do." and closed the door, the two standing in the hallway, Elliot giving a sigh before looking around. "Where did I place those almonds?" had he given them to a maid on the way up? "what shall we do until it is time to leave, then?" he questioned.

Annabelle giggled, clapping her hands as she closed her trunk. "Oh I'm so excited! I can't wait to go! Oh you've no idea how long I've been wanting to see something different!"

Emily nodded, packing only a small suitcase. "I hope they welcome us, are we the first humans to enter Falia since brother?"

Martha picked at her teeth, watching nix a bit longer and listening to their mindless chatter about Falia.

Lewis smiled at Al, "did you know i used to be in love with Megan? but i was scared-" he spun in a circle and tripped, falling onto the bed. "she is a woman and i was so terrified, but she would hold me and stroke my hair and it felt safe-" he closed his eyes, "i called her mama once. she was he mama i dreamed about-the one who protected me."

Leo smirked, "oh, i thing one or two things might come 'up'." he took elliot's hand and lead the way to their bedroom, wanting to make sure Elliot remembered just how much Leo loved him before they were confined to a carriage with who knows how many others.

nix thought about that, "well, since he's a half then he doesn't really count. you will be the first human since-since my father. well, no-that's not true. since the men came and took Leo. so since i was born."

"I'd thought so at one point." Al said, watching Lewis spin and twirl, "You two were incredibly close." and saw him trip onto the bed, standing for a moment to see if he was okay before rolling his eyes and sitting on the bed next to the prime minister. "You two can reconnect on the trip. I'm sure she's missed you, what with our busy lives and titles." and flopped down onto the bed, looking up at the canopy. "And Henry will be with us as well. We'll have grand time."

"One or two things?" he questioned, not quite understanding until realizing where he was being led. Ah. "Well then, I suppose the almonds aren't needed."

"Wow! The first humans in such a long time! We need to make a good impression, so you, Martha!" Annabelle pointed to her frowning sister, "You need to smile so we can make a good impression! Smile!"

"This is my smiling face."

"Well it's very lovely." Emily said with a small smile of her own.
