But Mommydaddy would be backing up. They'd be fine! Or so Dictys had thought - but there was the boundary of flame again. Ey looked from side to side, wide-eyed. How could this be solved?

The queen advanced towards two lowbloods near the edge of the arena. One of them was Odette Cygnet - protecting an orange blood?

Tamiya grunted and flinched as the battlefield changed. With a quick leap, she dug into the plant as it swung under her. No you don't...

She twirled her club in hand and rushed on the surface, cutting through. Aendal was in sight. Destroy!

Tamiya brought her weapon down with an immense crack, screaming, and looked around for the three trolls and her lusus.

Tamiya deals 8 damage.

MamaJu's HP: 26/40

While Voscil was busy trying to attend to the lusii, her own mother had grown tired of dealing with this drama and had gone for Aendal himself. As she leapt mid air in her fury to pounce, several plant's whipped, and lashed at her resulting in several cuts blossoming onto her coat's fur.

Her claws raked only lightly at her target, the power taken out of the move as she'd been struck along the way. At least MamaJu was again free, and able to move around unhindered.

MamaJu deals 1 damage. She takes -2 damage.

All thought of striking up a conversation and watching the show of those whacky lowbloods was temporarily pushed to the side as Aendal began to wreck s**t up. Taking a few steps back and trying her best to avoid the brunt of the leafy pillar of doom, she grunted as she forced herself to swing until she connected, despite the urge to move back to a safe distance. Wiping a thin trickle of blood off the side of her face, she glanced around again, taking in all the trolls on 'her side' of the battlefield.

With THAT out of the way, Reemus checked his howlbeast lusus for any extraneous burns. Nothing too bad, it seemed. Some of her fur was singed to almost nothing, but, it would grow back. Woofmum licked his face and Reemus smiled in response. Yeah, they were still okay. Now, back to work!

With the pillar gone, and others being flattened all around him, the little mustardblood took the opportunity to free another injured lusus. It looked like it wasn't about to get up any time soon, so he reached for the vines.

But, surprise! Playing possum! It rose its head in a quick motion and snapped at his fingers, making Reemus yelp and fall back on his butt. No dice!

Free! - Succeed!

While MamaJu handled her side of the battle, Voscil made use of her running around to try and free yet another lusus. It didn't take her long to fine a small one that looked mostly alive, and didn't have too many gashes or freaky flowers growing out of it.

Pulling and tugging at the vines with all her might, Vos hurried for the lusii's sake. Once removed, it seemed to come around without much fuss. Cheering at her mini victory she beamed, absolutely thrilled with the matter. While it wasn't much out of the system of discord, it was still something right?

Dashing off with the little thing, it abruptly hopped out of her arms. The lusii lunged at its attacker, chittering as it went for the man responsible for its suffering.

Voscil freed a lusus! It deals 2 damage~

Working off of some intense adrenaline, Odette jumped quickly between Aendal and Kei. She used her powers to her advantage here, trying her best to be in two places at one time. She was bleeding all over, from thorns, from lusii bites, and from whacking into vines when she wasn't looking where she was flying. Her feet and legs were covered in thorns, and her ballet shoes ruined. Her cape was littered with holes, and would have to be sewn up too. She remembered her last fight with the jadeblood, and how she had lost her coat then, too. Odette shook the sad feelings off. Material matters were unimportant now, when lives were on the line.

Odette turned to the voice calling out to her. The redblood gasped through gritted teeth at the speaker, nearly dropping to the ground. Was that? Could that be?

The queen?

No it couldn't be! What kind of business would she have to be here? Unless...

Odette scanned the room, analyzing the trolls. Seadwellers, high bloods, drones? The pieces slowly connected in Odette's head, and when they finally fell into place she gasped again, covering one side of her face with her free hand. No, this was the worst thing that could be happening! She didn't belong here, not among these royalists. And now the queen had noticed her, probably noticing her powers,too. She was certain the queen would enlist her and that she'd be forever doomed to serve in her Alternian army.

But maybe she was lucky, maybe the Queen hadn't noticed? She just had to play it cool and act normal, like she was supposed to be here. She wiped her face with the back of her hand futilely, only smearing the blood on her face more. She adjusted her posture, trying to figure out how a royalist was supposed to stand. Opening her mouth to respond to Regina, her tongue tied over what introduction to respond with. Instead, all that came out was a lengthy, shrill squeak.

Vremea dealt 11 damage.

Vremea had avoided a hit after the last attack Aendal tried to hit her with, then took a minute to repose, still clutching the vial of green liquid in her hand. Where were the others? She had seen a few of her group from afar, but really... it was troubling her. Taking a quick look around, Vremea barely saw a vine darting at her. She managed to dodge it, deciding to search for them after she got a hit in.

Analyzing every movement of the vines, Vremea took a leap of faith-- literally-- and grabbed the plant tightly, riding it all the way to Aendal and giving him one hell of a whack on his face, right between his ugly flowers. That'll show him!

Zindel dealt 2 damage.

After managing to get untangled from the stupid vine zombies, Zindel watched from afar as the main plant zombie attacked everyone by moving all the plants at once, prompting Zindel to scream and run away, grabbing Wrenmom in a rush of movement and rushing the hell away, only to end up between the flaming walls and the horrible killer plant. With a cry of pain, the redblood wiped the tears away, getting his arm scorched hard and groaning. Throwing a rock at Aendal, he grit his teeth and growled, feeling extremely angry. Stupid plants!

Reemus was getting kinda frustrated. Every lusus he tried to help seemed to want to take his arm off! Weird how they wanted to get out of the vines so badly but also injure anything else they came across. But then, if he was being forced to move against his will, he wouldn't be in the best mood, either.

Cussing under his breath, Reemus rubbed his nipped knuckles as he tried to figure out his next move.

Eostre uses her lithe body to its maximum potential, riding the pillar of giant plants and creatures to slam it right into the jadeblood, while also delivering a nice blow!

She was strangely relieved when she spied Aandes reunited with his lusus. The poor kid was devastated when he went missing.
