Kreiss Fangheart, The Knight of the Red

Kreiss was about to speak, his mouth even opened slightly, but then the fingers touched his lips and he had to stop himself from letting out a shivering breath. The small touch to his lips felt like it was going to light a fire. "T-then maybe we can shave it off... I-if we have uh..." His mind just blanked on the words he was trying to think of. His eyes were just locked with the never ending pools that were Zena's. He shifted a bit closer, a hand tracing up her neck very slowly, only a few fingertips touching the skin.

He blinked and his voice dropped to a whisper. "Z-Zena... I um..." His eyes shifted down to the hand that was caressing at his face. "Is it um... I think it's just me but... C-could you check my temperature? I'm getting a bit uh... Light headed... And um... Pretty warm as well, at least warmer than I was. Warmer than the blanket should make me anyways..." He was mumbling at this point, gaze having shifted back up to the small woman in front of him. It was so difficult to form a coherent thought, he wasn't even sure what he had just asked of her. It wasn't anything bad right? He hoped it wasn't. It was a weird mix of moments of clarity and moments of just fuzzy, pleasant warmth that wrapped around his mind and prevented him from thinking of anything else other than of the person in front of him.

" Hm? I think there are some tools in the mothers chest for cutting hair... Maybe there is something there that can get rid of this beard for you Kreiss." Zena said softly with a smile as her hand moved to his red hair and played with it a little between her fingers. " Maybe I should fix your hair up a little too... Its gotten a little longer." The smaller woman pointed out before Kreiss slowly started to touch her neck very lightly. Her hand went back to his as she once again traced his jaw line that was hidden by his red beard.

Kreiss was now closer to her now and was gently touching her neck which Zena did not mind at all. His gentle touch sent shivers down her spine then her body was taken over by heat that made her heart pound and she both loved it and was scared of it. The young man who had her in his arms started to stutter a bit and claimed that he felt hot and was feeling light headed in a mumble. " Huh? Are you not feeling well? Maybe you got something from working out in the cold." Zena said a little worried now. She shifted a bit closer to the man, placing her hand on his forehead and then putting hers on the back of it so she could feel the difference between the twos temperature. " You don't have a fever..." She said quietly as she pulled her hand away slowly but she didn't move her face away. " Do you want me to get you some water?" She asked, clearly worried about the mans health.

Kreiss shook his head gently. "N-no... Not thirsty... Just um..." The hand tracing her neck moved down and around to her back, slowly as if unsure if what it was doing was okay. The fingers continued trailing down the spine with feather light touches. His mouth closed for a moment and he swallowed as if anxious about something.

They were so close. Dangerously close. His face was flushed now if it wasn't before. "A-are you feeling okay Zena?" He asked off handedly trying to distract himself and failing miserably. He wanted to keep her close, possibly even closer. Pressed up against him as much as possible. At the same time he knew that it wasn't something he should do. It was an internal battle that waged and he knew if he didn't do something soon something he was going to regret was going to happen, but what could he do? He had just put them into the situation and now he couldn't think of a way out.

Zena was still a little worried about Kreiss and she touched his cheek lightly to check his temperature once more just to be sure. " Maybe its just from over working yourself? If you feel any worse just let me know alright?" She said softly with a small smile. She then felt his hand move to her back which made the young woman gasp as once again shivers went through her body before feeling hot once more. Zena covered her mouth from letting any other sounds escape her lips as the shade of pink of her face started to change into a deeper colour.

Zena just looked at the bearded man, unable to answer the mans question if she was feeling alright. Her heart aced from how much it was beating and her body felt so hot. She was under his spell again, just like before as she was unable to move away from him and only move closer if she wanted to move. Her hands were still covering her mouth to stop herself from making any more noise and so Kreiss couldn't hear hear her breath deepen though with him so close he most likely still could hear it along with her racing heart. Their faces were so close again, with their foreheads just barely about to touch. Every second that went the more intense the feelings felt that she was having.

Do to her feelings over flowing Zena started to curl up a bit from her heart pounding do hard which made her legs slightly tangle with Kreiss. She could feel the warmth of his legs under the blankets. She was wrapped in the mans strong arms and now her legs were tangled with his. "K-Kreiss... If you want... You can let go of me...Only if you want too..." Zena managed to whisper out, almost as if she was out of breath.

Kreiss Fangheart, The Knight of the Red

Kreiss's hand on her back settled itself at the small of her back, his other hand moving to take the hand away from her mouth and intertwine the fingers. There were no words for what he was doing. He didn't even really register what she said to him. His lips merely pressed against hers as his eyes closed. In that moment for him, it was like nothing else mattered, no other feeling. All of his senses were dulled except when it came to Zena.

His heart felt like it burst in his chest, relieved of all pressure despite rapidly pounding away in his chest. The arm wrapped around her squeezed her closer, pressing her body as best as it could against his, the hand that was holding hers giving it a small squeeze. The legs that were entangled shifted a bit to let hers lock themselves into a more comfortable position, one ankle barely catching one of hers.

The kiss was long and drawn out, not wanting to pull away. However eventually he had to and when he did so his eyes opened. Looking down between them as if ashamed of what he had done. "I-I'm sorry I shouldn't have done it but Zena I.." The words just kind of died in his mouth, unsure if he should say it or not.

Kreiss hand stopped moving and it rested on her back while the other one started to pull her hand away from her mouth. " No wait...If you move my hand..." Zena started as her eyes glanced away from Kreiss, embarrassed for Kreiss seeing her like this. Her burning blushing face and breath deepening. She felt his hand intwine with her small fragile like hands. Her gaze went back to look back at Kreiss to only have his lips press one hers. Zena's eyes widen and it felt like her heart stopped for a moment before pounding so hard she thought for sure her heart was going to burst out of her chest.

Zena felt like she was slowly melting in Kreiss's arms as she felt his arm around her tightened, making her move closer to him as they were now chest to chest. She could feel his heart beating against hers and she squeezed his hand slightly as he squeezed hers. This was it, her first kiss and not only her first kiss but Kreiss first kiss as well. This was what she wanted all along, even though her heart was still pounding and her body still under Kreiss's spell it felt as if a weight was lifted off her chest.

The kiss was long put soon Kreiss pulled her lips away from hers and he opened his eyes. He looked away apologizing to her for what he had just done. Zena was quiet for a moment before she squeezed Kreiss's hand more. " Kreiss... You kissed me. T-That... Was my first a-and yours..." Zena whispered with her face still red. With her free hand she rested her hand on his cheek and closed her eyes and planted her lips on his. The kiss was not as long but it was not a short one either. The small woman pulled away slightly to catch her breath and her eyes never left his. " A-Again..."

Kreiss Fangheart, The Knight of the Red

The second kiss gave him all he needed to know. Just as he was attracted to her, the second confirmed her feelings for him. His body quickly shifted, pulling her small frame atop him much like it had been that night three weeks ago and he leaned up and kissed her on the lips again, the hand on her back tracing it back up, pressing down a bit on her back before moving to her neck and then to cup her cheek.

It was the moment that had happened three weeks ago done right in his mind. He took the step he had wanted to. Once the kiss couldn't be held any longer he pulled away just for a small respite before he shifted from her lips to her neck, kissing just under her jaw, the kiss soft and quick, continuing down slowly with each kiss along the neck, breathing against where he had kissed every now and then as he needed to breath.

"Zena" he murmured, through half-lidded eyes, going more off of what elicited a response from the smaller woman rather than anything of actual thought behind it. He didn't go anywhere beyond kissing her neck, but from the shiver from earlier from when his fingers had touched it, his brain associated it with being sensitive.

Just moments after Zena had pulled away from the kiss, Kreiss quickly pulled the small woman on top of him just like that three weeks ago. She was caught off guard a little and before she could really react to it Kreiss's lips were on her once again. Zena closed her eyes and kissed Kreiss back as she felt his hand trail up her back then her neck making her shiver slightly till it stopped at her red cheek. This was she had been wanting to do all this time, this was what her emotions where trying to tell her to do but she was to scared to fully act upon them and didn't fully understand but now she did.

As the two pulled away from the kiss to get air, Zena looked down at Kreiss with half lidded eyes for a moment before she turned her head a little so she could kiss the palm of his hand that was cupping her face. Then Kreiss did something Zena didn't even think about that she didn't see coming. The bearded man under her started to kiss under her jawline which was fine but once those kiss started to go to her neck Zena quickly discovered and most likely Kreiss as well found out that her neck was a sensitive spot. The small figure let out a gasp as Kreiss gently violated her neck. She could feel his lips, his hot breath and his beard on her soft sensative skin making her body quiver a little.

Zena's breathing deepened again slightly as she was enjoying this new feeling that was rushing through her body but also scared. " K-Kreiss not there..." She slightly moaned out and once again she covered her mouth with her free hand to stop making any noise as she felt embarrassed. She closed her eyes tightly and again squeezed Kreiss hand a little as she had not let go of his hand.

The squeeze to the hand is what broke him out of the trance just as he was about to graze his teeth over the sensitive skin of her neck. He instead let out a long breath and then nuzzled into it, giving her hand a small squeeze back. It took him a moment to pull away to face her again. "I-I know I'm doing this a bit out of order but I... Zena I love you... Forgive me for not saying it earlier before I kissed you. I just... Something came over me."

His face's shade of pink grew and he looked down again. "So... Yes. That is to say... I hope you feel the same way about me? If you do I hope to have you keep treating me fairly and with the same kindness and tenderness as before. If not... I'm sorry, I shouldn't have done that and now I've put us in a horrible situation and I'm sorry for that too." He moved to try and hide his face with something, though with her on top and his hands preoccupies still touching and holding his lover all he could really do was turn his head away and try and hide it in her hair which wasn't all that effective.

Zena bit her bottom lip a little to stop herself from making any more noise as Kreiss kissed her neck but her soon stopped and nuzzled into her neck. Her small hand pulled away from her mouth as it seemed the knight had stopped violating her neck and she let out a sigh from holding in her breath that she did not know of. Kreiss soon pulled away from her neck to look up at her and she heard three little words that she thought she would never hear in her life. Her eyes widen as she processed what Kreiss had just told her and her heart fluttered a little from it.

She watched him turn away from her, saying that he was sorry once more and tried to hide from her. The small framed woman looked down at him with a soft smile before she placed her free hand on his cheek and slowly turned his face to face her again. Zena leaned over and planted a kiss on his other cheek and smiled down at him again. " I forgive you Kreiss..." She whispered before she glanced away for a moment as if she was trying to figure out what to say next. " To tell you the truth... I feel the same." The little witch started and looked back at the man under her. " I have been feeling these feeling for you for so long now... Even before that night three weeks ago but I didn't know what those feelings really were till that night and... I was scared of them... I still am." Zena moved her hand away from Kreiss's cheek and placed it above his heart. " Thats why I kept running from you Kreiss, because of these feeling that I didn't know how to handle them and I still don't b-but... I...I love you Kreiss. I love you." Zena said those last words with her eyes closed shut tight before opening them slowly with her heart racing. " Y-You are my first love..."

Kreiss looked up at Zena as she moved him to look up at her and explain how she herself felt. His features went from surprise to worry to happy within the next couple of moments and he gave her hand a small squeeze. "I'm glad I am... Though I think it's somewhat unfair to say that considering the idea that I'm the first person you've met as well in a long time... I guess I just got here before anyone else could." He let out a small chuckle at his own idea and then took a deep breath, the stray hand moving to just run his fingers through her hair.

"Did you still want us to take a nap or... Just lay here like this with each other? I don't really mind if we do both I just can't promise I won't kiss you when you wake up if we stay like this..." He took a deep breath and then flashed a grin. "Also I guess you could say you now have command over both my heart and my body. Seems like you are just able to get anything you want from me. Might I ask what shall be taken next from me?" His tone was jovial and joking, providing his new found lover with a small joke to snap at if she so wished. "I've been wanting to call you dear for a while now as well... I hope you don't mind."

" H-Hey! Zena sat up a little more on top of Kreiss and looked down at him. " What do you mean unfair? Do you want the credit or not? I can always take back what I said." The small female warned jokingly to the young knight. " Even if I was able to save all your brothers from that night... I would only of fallen for you." She said with a firm nod. " Maybe it was fate that only you have been able to find me... Think of it as you are the only one worthy enough to have my heart." Zena giggled at the idea little as Kreiss ran his hand through her hair which made her smile softly down at him.

He then asked if Zena wanted to stay like they were, have a nap like they originally planned or even both. She thought about it for a moment before Kreiss warned her about kissing her when she woke up which made her blush a little. Now that they both confessed their feelings their would be more of these moments which the idea made her fluster. Zena never thought anything like this would happen to her and now here she was in a mans arms. " D-Don't fraise it like that!" Zena said glancing away for a moment before rolling off of Kreiss but still stayed close to him and still held onto his hand.

" I think I will steal this after dinner." She gently tugged on his red beard and snickered slightly. After a moment she raised their hands that were intwined together to her lips and kissed it softly. " Lets take that nap..." She whispered as she kept his hand close, wrapping her other arm around it as if she was going to cuddle Kreiss's arm in her sleep. Zena closed her eyes and was about to fall asleep when Kreiss confessed he had been wanting to call her dear from some time now which explain a little why he quickly corrected himself when he was calling her over. The young witch smiled softly and nodded her head. " Alright...Dear." She whispered before shortly after falling asleep, still cuddling with Kreiss's arm.

A couple hours went by before Zena woke up to it being a bit darker as it was dark outside and a couple candles had went out. She looked up at Kreiss with sleepy eyes, just look at him for a few minutes before she slowly and carefully started to get out of her partners grasp, not wanting to wake him up. Once Zena was in the clear she light up the candles that went out before she started to cook dinner, as usual it was nothing fancy but food was food and it would keep them alive.

Kreiss Fangheart, The Knight of the Red

Kreiss just kind of laid there after a moment as she called him dear, an arm trapped by the young lady he had just confessed to. So, here he was at a cabin where a lady with no family lived and he was the one to find her and then capture her heart after all these years. It was certainly romantic and worth telling anyone he met when he came of old age. His free hand reached and stroked his beard as if he was of that age already and then he chuckled before shifting a bit and then closing his eyes.

It took Kreiss a while longer to wake up and it wasn't until the smell of cooking started did he open his eyes with a yawn. "Mmm... Zena that smells good. Should've woken me up, I would've helped." He stated as he slowly pulled himself out of bed. His feet carried him groggily over to the small dining room and he wrapped his arms around Zena in a hug, leaning to kiss the top of her head. For him right now he was still in the half dream state to care whether or not it was embarrassing, and besides. He had to make up for lost time on the idea of having not been able to confess earlier. "After dinner is beard clipping right? I do hope you know how to use scissors, else we might be in for a bit of trouble... Wish I had a razor to help with the job."

Zena was at the big black cooking pot over the fire, stirring the stew when she heard a yawn coming from the straw bed. She looked over her shoulder to see that her new partner had awoken from his slumber. she giggled a little before looking back at the pot and took a taste test of her food. " It still baffles me that you think my cooking is so great when it really is nothing when you come from a world where one could make anything if they so wish." Zena said as she added a little bit more of dried herbs before those big,strong and warm arms wrapped around the young womans small frame. " U-Uh Kreiss?" Even though they had told one another their feeling for each other she was still not at all use to this. As Kreiss planted a kiss on the womans head, her cheeks turned a slight pink as her cheeks puffed up slightly while she looked at the pot.

" Y-You were still asleep so I didn't want to wake you..." She muttered slightly with her puffed out cheeks before clearing her throat. " It's ready." Zena pointed out before she escaped Kriess's arms to get two bowls and poured the stew into the bowls and like always, she gave Kreiss a bigger portion then herself and handed the bearded man his bowl. " Of course I know how to use scissors! I may be some woman living in the woods alone but I am still a woman. I know how to use scissors, needle and thread." She stated with a slight hmph at the end before taking a big sip of her stew right afterwords, a little to fast which made go down the wrong way. She quickly pulled the bowl away from her lips, letting out a cough. "H-Hot!"

Kreiss Fangheart, The Knight of the Red

Kreiss gave a nod and moved to sit down, not wanting to resist he movements while she was carrying a hot pot. He just watched as she brought the bowl up to her lips to sip at and when she pulled it away he moved to take it from her with a gentle hand, moving to switch out their bowls before leaning to blow on the larger portion. "We'll switch off who gets the larger and smaller portion from now on... You've been getting skinnier since my time here and if you get to skinny the chill of winter will get to you."

He then settled in his seat and rubbed at his beard. "I mean, just because you are a woman it does not necessarily mean you know how to use certain implements... I can think of a few that wouldn't know the first thing about how to cut a man's beard." He moved to take the now much smaller portion bowl and scoop out a bit, blowing on it and then sipping on it. "I'm surprised you do know how to do it. I wonder what you practiced on for a man's beard."

He glanced to outside and furrowed his brow. It was definitely cold out there, and dark. He was just glad they had candles and supplies that would last them through the winter. She had stated that no animals lived in the forest but he bet he could find something for them to eat to help stave off hunger out in those woods. It might be mangy and skinny, but it would be better than nothing. The gaze shifted back to Zena with a smile. "So... I do not wish to be to forward or presumptuous since we just admitted our feelings but... With the colder months it may be better if we sleep in the same bed. Nothing foul is afoot I promise, I am simply worried about the cold and chill. Back to back is fine with me."
