Iblis walked down through the city and couldn't help but marvel at it's greatness. Such a high tech city being able to not only function underground, but also stay off of Eggman's radar, was quite a feat. Then again, this was Tails we were talking about. Iblis had never gotten close to the Freedom Fighters, but she did watch them a lot and she knew from the first time she saw Tails that he was something special. This may have been the first time in her life that Iblis felt any sense of safety or security in a place. When she finally arrived, she entered slowly through the main entrance and tried not to make her presence known. She just wanted to check on everyone and see what was going on. Iblis smiled at the sights of Kiro and Nova. It warmed her heart to see those two happy. Especially Nova, considering everything the kid had been through. Iblis was relieved to see him getting along. She almost didn't recognize TD however. She never would've thought that TD was a cyborg. Knowing how old that way of enslavement was, Iblis didn't think Eggman would keep something like that around for so long. So much has changed in the past 5 years. Iblis found it very unsettling, not to mention they had started a war, but wasn't about to let her worries ruin everyone's fun.
Seeing Light nearby, Iblis took a few steps back. She had so much going on in her head, she wasn't sure she could even try to figure out her situation with D.L and Light. She had dug herself into such a deep hole with those two that the idea of resolving anything seemed impossible right now. Her anxiety was starting to get to her, so Iblis began to back farther into the shadows and head toward the exit of the lab.

Light notices Iblis before she even tried to escape, and smiles at her warmly like nothing was wrong. Completely oblivious that she was trying to avoid him or D.L at this moment. "Oh hey, Iblis... you doing alright? I hope Eragon didn't hit you too hard when he knocked you out..." He said and sweat drops at the memory, it kinda left Light pretty worried she'd get a bruise from that hit or worse.
"came to check on everyone too though? I just got here myself to see if TD was recovering, turns out hes doing alright." He said as he looks back at TD, and frowns at the scars he has. "I didn't think Eggman was so messed up like this though... but I have been gone for a long while. Things have changed so much since then..."
Light sighs and shakes his head a bit. "Five years in that dark abyss and it feels like I have only slept for a few hours... seriously I don't know how you deal with that D.L..." He said as he turns his attention to D.L, seeming to catch his attention and snap him out of his thoughts.
D.L looks at Light seriously with empty emotionless eyes. "I don't... I got use to it after awhile of being stuck there. Although sometimes the feeling of solitude tends to drive one mad... Your lucky it hasn't done that to you." he said and seriously spoke the truth, without hesitating on answering. Light was surprised that he was more opened about this sort of thing. Mostly Light was use to being treated coldly by D.L and not told anything that was private. Although D.L wasn't much in the mood to care if they know or not, he was in a weird mood today and seemed... maybe depressed about something? Though Light knew he'd probably not tell if he asked.
TD silently lets Tail's repair his legs, but he was listening to the others talking. Although wasn't sure if he should say anything, since he was near a stranger with two tails. He didn't want to surprise him by talking.

Nina slowly starts to open her eyes, waking up from her deep sleep. She was still a bit groggy as her vision was a bit blurry, so she started to rub her eye gently. Seeing someone over her bed, she looks at him sleepishly. Noticing it's Eragon. "Good morning..." she said and yawns while stretching a bit. Although she sat up while she stretched for a moment.
Noticing that she's not in a familiar place, so she looks at Eragon a bit confused. "What happened? Did I pass out or am I dead? Cause I swear I remember the place being attacked..." she said and couldn't remember anything after that, other then trying to join in the fight.
((xD I'll just say he had to knock her out too lol She can be stubborn too in fights))
Balto gave Nova a smile as he agreed to have Tails operate on TD. But the smile quickly faded after he saw the horrible scars the dog had after being with Eggman for so long. He grit his teeth and clenched his fist in rage, but managed to suppress his anger in front of his comrades. One thing, however, was certain: Eggman needed to be stopped. Balto may have had his doubts about initiating the conflict with the tyrant, but this had to be done. No more people needed to become victims of his world domination. This all had to end, and he'd personally put himself on the front lines.
Light eventually joined the group in the laboratory as well as Iblis when she finally awoken. After the shared dialogue between Light and D.L., Balto noticed something. He never really knew the reason why Tails' guard sentries tried to turn on D.L., nor the connection between the two hedgehogs. With the conflict fast approaching, the wolf figured that now would be the best time to truly understand their story. As he has come to understand Kiro's. (RP Notes: What he's been told, anyway)
"Pardon me for asking this, Light. But how is it that Eggman's changed in the past five years? I've always known him for being evil, constantly trying to take over the world and whatnot. Did you used to be allied to him?" he asked. With Balto being the latest addition to the Freedom Fighters, he realized that he didn't know much about his teammates, except their collective hatred for Eggman. He wanted to get know his partners, who these people were, and why they sought to end the Doctor's reign. ------------ Umber grunted as he slowly opened his eyes and sat upright in his bed.
"Ugh...What the...Where...am I?"
He looked around and saw that he was very unfamiliar with his surroundings. It looked like he was in a hotel of some sort, but he had no idea how he got there. The last thing he remembered was finishing off the last of Dez's robots before passing out. Then there was the matter of his sister, who has still been in her coma. Frantic and worried, the dog leapt from the bed and sped down the hallway of the hotel.
"Gotta find Serenity! Gotta find Serenity! Gotta find Serenity!" he yelled as he ran. Eventually, he found the exit and ran towards it. Once outside, he was completely blown away by what he saw. The buildings here were tall and the technology powering them was way more advanced than Mobius. The dog just couldn't believe where he had ended up.
"What the hell is all this?!" he shouted.

Eragon couldn't help but smile a little when Nina woke up. Though he hated to admit it, Iblis was right, he did think Nina was cute. However, that wasn't something he would admit to the world just yet. Seeing her confused expression, Eragon let out a small chuckle. He found her reasoning amusing. "Heh, yeah... about that..." he began, pretending to let on to the death theory. He paused a moment for extra suspense since he often enjoyed messing with people's heads a little. "Nah, I just had to knock you out is all. You're fine. You were pretty rowdy back there however. I never thought I'd see the day when you and Iblis actually agreed on something so stupid. If I hadn't stepped in, you two would've gotten yourselves killed" Eragon explained with a small grin. "Oh, and sorry if you're sore. I used a pressure point on you, but Iblis may have gotten a small concussion in the process" he snickered a bit when he said it.
Iblis' body went stiff when Light saw her. It was no surprise that he noticed her so quickly. They were very close for a long time, but she wasn't sure how much of Light's memories had been tampered with. Iblis tried to calm down a bit as she came out of the shadow. "Um... Yeah. I'm still kinda sore, but it's fine. I'm ok." She nodded when Light mentioned checking on the others. "Yeah. I wanted to make sure Nova was alright" She admitted as she looked over at Nova helping TD. Her expression softened. Iblis hadn't realized it, but she had really taken a liking to Nova. Almost as if he were her sibling or child. Iblis frowned with the mention of Eggman though. "If you didn't think he would go this far, then you didn't know the guy like I did..." she said with a scoff as she looked toward the ground. Memories of her enslavement to Eggman flashed in her head. The thought of the experiments sent shivers down her spine. Iblis snapped out of her thoughts when D.L joined the conversation. Again the anxiety began to build inside her as her seemingly impossible decision stood before her. She could tell that D.L had something on her mind, but she wasn't about to ask. She had more than enough on her plate currently. Iblis couldn't help cringing slightly at Balto's question. "It's... uh... complicated" she managed to say after a small hesitation. It wasn't her place to talk about Light's past. She instead tried to answer the part about Eggman since Light might not be able to remember. "Eggman has always been a pain, but never anything like this. When he finally rose to power, it all kinda went to his head. Y'know, power hungry? It seems his sanity has gone completely out the window. He slaughters innocent people and keeps the strong ones as slaves using mind control. Some tortured before death" Iblis tried to explain in a saddened tone, but then looked at Light and D.L for reassurance that her explanation was decent. Or somewhat accurate. Iblis' ears perked up suddenly. "Did you hear something?" she asked as she kept alert for more sounds. The light blue she-wolf could have sworn that she heard a voice, but maybe all the recent stress was messing with her.
The little girl shyly took the ball from Kiro's hand as he remained knelt down to the child's eye level to look less intimidating. "Where's your mom?", he asked nicely. The little mobian girl stood there looking to ground and fidgeted the blue ball in her little hands. "In heaven.....with daddy", she answered. Kiro's eyes widened and made a deep wince at those very words. "I'm sorry. You miss them dont you?", he said solemnly. The little girl shrugged her shoulders, which confused the young hedghog. What child would not miss their parents? "They died when I was born", she answered. This shocked him. But at least it now made sense. He gently pats the child's head as she looked up at him with those big eyes on that little face. "I understand....I never met my mom and dad either. I'm sure where ever they are, they love you very much. And will always protect you", he said in a gentle calm tone to comfort the child. Just then, the little one's eyes became full of wonder and asked,"Is that why they sent you?". Again, the childs word confused the young hedgehog as he raised his eyebrow, "Sent me?". "Yes. Did mommy and daddy sent you to protect me and my uncle. And My auntie? And my friends? And my hamster?", she asked relentlessly. Again more confusing questions. "Sent me from where?", he asked. "Heaven", the child answered. "Are you an Angel?", The little girl asked him. This left Kiro speechless as his mouth remained agape. "When you when with your friends to fight those robots and I saw you fly. And the grown-ups say you died but now you are back to help us", she explained from her own perspective from her untainted innocent mind. Kiro wanted to say 'no', but he'd never want to destroy a child's hope even if would could or could not accept her words. The only answer he could give was a gentle warm smile as he tenderly stroked her hair. Suddenly, he hears a woman call out "Molly!", she cried. Right as the child's attention averted, Kiro quickly backed away into the darkness and walked off. He wasnt in the mood for anymore conversation.
Molly's aunt finds her little neice kneeling down and wipes her face with awash cloth. "There you are! What were you doing back here all by yourself?", she asked with worry in her tone. Molly smiled and looked up answering,"I was talking to the Angel". Molly point where Kiro was standing. "Honey, you know angels....", Thats when her aunt noticed Kiro walking away as her eyes looked at him with realization.
A little later, Kiro was standing outside Tails's door. Last he heard, he was working on fixing T.D. and wanted to check to see if he was okay. He looks to the ground and reluctantly raised his hand, giving a few knocks.

Tails hears the knocking on the door, but doesn't look away as he was fixing the last leg up. "Come on in! sorry my hands are full." he said, as he kept his focus on TD's front paw. It had a lose bolt in the front ankle area, so it only needed a bit of fixing.
TD had his ears folded back in submission, showing that he won't bite Tails. Even though he could speak, he still hadn't said a word around Tails. Still unsure if he should use his voice box that was programmed in him, even without the armor, he still had a somewhat robotic brain built inside. Mostly for communicating, but also a storage for memory data.
Although TD's attention soon went to the door, where he heard the knocking. Only slightly looking in that direction, but most of his attention was on Tails as he worked on his front paw's ankle. Fixing up his last robotic leg, which kinda made TD excited to start testing his legs out on a walk. Making his robotic tail start wagging in happiness.
Light droops his ears a bit, now just remembering about what Iblis told him years ago. He had almost forgotten completely about that. "I'm sorry... my memories are still scrambled a bit..." he mumbled quietly towards Iblis, then nods to what Iblis said. "yeah... he has changed a lot, but no even back then I wasn't allied with him... I just completely forgot about somethings, but I remember he wasn't this bad. At least not as power hungry and crazed.. if anything, D.L knows alot more on how true that is."
D.L nods slightly to that. "It's true what Iblis says... it was all that, and I had been there to see it. Mostly used as his slave to slaughter people... without any control on my own actions, like a puppet." his eyes went misty and somewhat depressed. "You have no idea how much I wish I could forget..." he mumbles so quietly that it was hardly noticed unless someone was close. Although his depression soon vanished as quick as it showed. "Now you know why I hate that b*****d so much." his expression turned cold and serious, his purple eyes glowing with deep hatred towards Eggman for all he made him do.
He snaps out of his anger though once he heard some yelling near by, it was barely noticeable but he heard it at the same time as Iblis. "I'll go check..." he said but mostly so he could leave. He felt like he was suffocating here, with all the depression. He needed a good walk to clear his thoughts. So he left the lab, before anyone could stop him. Not wanting to deal with anymore questions, but he guessed that it'd be fine as long as it's not about him. So goes to check the hotel just in case that Umber guy had awaken.
No one probably should of left that guy alone without trying to answer his questions, and it was a good thing the hotel wasn't too far off though. But just enough so he could get a good walk to clear his head.
As soon as he got there, he noticed Umber not too far off from the hotel. "I'm guessing you woke up not too long ago." he said as he stopped close by Umber, noticing he looked a bit panicked but mostly confused.
"Don't worry, your sister is safe. She was also sent down here and is at the hospital. Tails made sure she was kept safe there with doctors." he said and explains how they ended up down here, just after explaining the fight against the robots. Having Dez the crazed bat flee and no one getting hurt too badly but TD. Although he also explains that TD is recovering well now, with Tails helping him recover. "If you want to go check on your sister, the hospital is that way." he explained and pointed towards the white building with the hospital sign in the distance.
As frantic as Umber was, he tried to remain calm to figure everything out.
"Okay okay okay, stay calm and remember." he said to himself. "We were fighting those robots, we were getting our asses kicked, I used my bloodline trait and then...."
Try as he might, he couldn't gain any more memories after the battle with the robots. And while he couldn't come up with answers, he was getting more worried about his sister. That's when he heard a voice call out to him.
"Huh? D.L., you're here too?" he asked. The dark hedgehog approached him and explained the entire situation. After he passed out, the rest of the Freedom Fighters managed to force Dez to retreat. After that, Zhai led them to this underground city where the rescued refugees were safely hidden away. Umber was moved into the hotel to get some rest, but Serenity was taken to the hospital. He showed him the way, to which the black dog nodded.
"Got it. Thanks, D.L." he said as he ran toward the hospital. He knew that the everyone would have to meet up and go over war strategies eventually, but for now he just had to make sure his sister was all right. ------------ After asking the question, Balto learned the truth behind D.L.'s cold demeanor. Eggman, who used to be an unsuccessful antagonist, was completely engulfed by his own power once he obtained his first victory. He began a massive campaign against the residents of Mobius and gave them one of two options: Either serve him or die. For the stronger members of society, he merely manipulated them to his bidding. Light and D.L. weren't any different.
The wolf could only shake his head in dismay after learning this information.
"I see. So much destruction was caused after his first victory. How did he managed to beat the Freedom Fighters? How did he overcome Sonic the Hedgehog?" he asked.
Balto didn't know much about Sonic, but it was due to him and Knuckles that his home world of Angel Island was saved during one of Eggman's raids. As he asked this question, a knock was heard on the laboratory's door.

Nina frowns once he pretty much tricked her with the death theory. Not only that but, he also kinda hit a nerve with the stupid comment. She humphs and crosses her arms, pouting a bit since she was upset somewhat.
Although she looked at him slightly when he said he may have given Iblis a slight concussion, but only used a pressure point on her. She could defiantly feel the soreness, but it wasn't too bad. "I'm not too sore, so I should be fine..." she said but smiles at the thought of Iblis feeling dizzy and falling on D.L by accident. Was kinda a funny image, specially what D.L's expression would be. "Still I'm pretty sure you could of just told me not to, and I would of listened... You didn't have to knock me out really, I'm not as stubborn... but thanks for stopping mefrom doing something stupid..." she said and blushes in embarrassment.
Iblis nodded to what Light and D.L said. She felt bad for reminding D.L of his past. Iblis knew that was a very difficult subject for those two. The light blue she-wolf returned her attention to Balto when he asked another question. This one was a bit of a challenge to explain. Iblis scratched her head. "Umm... Well, you see, that may be a better question for the freedom fighter himself" she replied uneasily; referring to Tails. Iblis felt that such a tale should be told by someone who was actually there. Iblis had been there for part of the time, but the trauma of losing Light had made her memory of those days blurry.
Eragon chuckled at Nina's reactions. She was a tough girl who could take care of herself; he knew that, but there was no way he would've let her join what had looked like a suicide mission at the time. "You're welcome" Eragon replied to Nina's comment. He stood up and offered a hand to Nina, though he had a feeling she wouldn't accept it given her nature. "We should join the others. They're in Tails' lab, I believe." He paused a moment looking down at his apparel."But first, we may want to clean up. Iblis left filthy, but she's wearing all black, so she might get away with it... Or we could hunt her down and make her go back and clean herself like when we were kids?" Eragon suggested as he took off his shredded leather jacket. He dug through the drawers of a dresser next to Nina's bed and found some clothes that someone had left behind. Eragon put on a gray tank top and dark green cargo pants right there at the end of Nina's bed. Surprisingly, changing in the bathroom had not occurred to him. If Nina saw him, she would see his black, scaly body covered with scars.
((omg Eragon there is a lady in the room! Use your head! eek ))

Upon hearing the clear from Tails behind the door, the young hedgehog entered the lab silently. As he walked in, there was Tails and Nova working on T.D. on the table. He quietly walked toward them and loomed his head over T.D.'s unveiled body. He was almost exactly how he remembered as a child. Only there were horrible scars under his fur. "Hows he doing?", he asked the Fox genius.
((remember when Alice talked about her german shepherd, xXShadow? o.o I was wondering if Kiro would remember it, since TD doesn't have his torso armor and head gear on.))
Tails looks at Kiro, after finishing up on the last robotic leg. "Well his injury were pretty deep, but I was able to clean and stitch it up. So the bandages around his torso will need changing every few days." he said then smiled and adds. "Other then that, hes doing a lot better now." he then looks at TD and pets his head gently. "Oh and also I got his robotic legs repaired as well. So he should be able to walk and run better now." he said and seemed pretty glad to help out the dog.
Although Tails somewhat heard the conversation Iblis and Balto were having, even the talk they had with D.L and Light. As he noticed D.L walked out just after Kiro entered.
He never knew that D.L had such a harsh past really, until he heard of those mind control chips back then. Now that he thought about it, he still had that container with the broken chip to study. Although his mind wasn't on about the chip at the moment, as his thoughts were on the past events when Sonic was around. Those memories on the battle field still haunts him til this day. "Balto... if you really want to know..." he said but had to pause, sighing as he tries not to get worked up over the memories as he explains further.
"The person who was involved wasn't just Eggman... it was D.L too but at the time, we didn't know he was using mind control chip on him. We didn't even know what we were up against either, since we didn't know anything about D.L's abilities."
He shakes his head slightly and sighs, closing his eyes in silent grief for his best friend. "I only got to see Sonic being knocked down by D.L before he shot down my plane. Making me crash into a forest a few distance away. Everything else is a blur, and I remember waking up back at Acorn castle being treated of my wounds." he said truthfully. "I'm pretty sure one of you has seen the throne room by now, knowing what happened with Sally and everyone else since Sonic disappeared. I'm not even sure if hes alive and being used as a slave, or died in the fight against D.L... But that was the last thing Sally wrote before she gave her self up to protect what was left of us, though Eggman didn't keep that promise to not harm any others and instead slaughtered more of the freedom fighters with D.L's help."
Tails looks at everyone with a somewhat held back emotion and stress, looking more serious then anything else. But it was easy to tell he was bothered by the past events still. "Truthfully I don't blame D.L, since he wasn't conscious of his actions but... I use to have a grudge against him before I knew anything about the chip. Still... it's going to take me awhile before I get use to having him on our side..." he said and sighs deeply, seeming sorry that he hasn't fully trusted D.L but hes been on edge. Mostly because hes afraid that he'll fail everyone he's trying to protect here. It was hard without the help of his good friend, Sonic. He always seemed to keep people in high spirits, but Tails would do his best no matter what. He owned it to him and swore he'd protect the underground city for Sonic, Knuckles and the rest of the freedom fighters.
Nova stayed silent through the whole conversation. Mostly because he already knew about D.L being controlled by Dr. Eggman, but hes never heard of D.L actually doing all those things. Although it was Eggman to blame for all this, since D.L had no control over his actions.
Light was speechless and furious, as he tightened his fists by his sides. He never knew D.L went through all that and more. Being used by that psycho as a tool to slaughter innocent people. "I can't even imagine how D.L is feeling... all those horrible memories and events from the past... Though I can't see what happened, and I think D.L is blocking them for a good reason." he said and looks to the floor sadly. "I can defiantly tell when hes hiding something though, and normally I remember everything he saw... but there is only some memories that he allowed me to see, but nothing about the freedom fighters or what happened back then."
Light sighs deeply. "I know you don't fully trust him, Tails. But D.L must be very affected by it too. Although it's hard to know what hes thinking, but he didn't seem like himself really. Something is really off with him."
TD looks at everyone then at Nova, as he could sense the emotions everyone was feeling. Wishing he could cheer up the conversation somehow. Then he started to get some kind of idea, though it would probably not be the best idea. But it was better then nothing. "Maybe he needs someone to talk to... you know? Like let out some steam as people say?" he said in his robotic and slightly high pitched voice. Although his mouth didn't move whenever he spoke, but it was noticeable now where that voice was coming from. As he had some kind of neck machinery that looked like a necklace sorta, with three glowing red gems in the front. Kinda like his own builtin voice box apparently. "Keeping something in like that won't help the stress levels... I bet..."
TD then stands up and jumps off the table he was on, (since he was set on a table by Tails) Knowing he can walk now. Though he was being careful with his bandaged torso. "If no one will talk to him, then I will." TD said and seemed serious.
Nova stops him though by standing in the way. "Whoa, TD! Sure it's a good idea but, your forgetting you and him don't really get a long much." he said and sweat drops, he wouldn't want TD to get D.L even more stressed. Even if hes just trying to help D.L out.
TD looks a bit nervous by the thought. "oh... right, um..." TD then droops his ears and whines silently. "But someone needs to talk to him...high stress levels can break ones self-esteem and cause unhealthy thoughts and actions."
D.L stayed where he was near the hotel doors, even as Umber left to go see his sister at the hospital. He didn't even seem to knowledge that he said thanks, but instead stayed silent in responds as there was a lot on his mind. The death of every soul he had taken still fresh in his memories.
Even if it wasn't his fault, he still felt like a monster. He had so much held in for years. Although holding his emotions in for so long was starting to break him, but he kept it hidden as best as he could. Not wanting to show weakness at his breaking point, but that was the reason why he left Tails' lab. He needed to breath and try and calm his emotions.
If anyone were to see him now, they'd notice him gazing at the ground slightly. Hiding his face with his spiky hair, when underneath that. He was trying to hold back tears.

Nina blushes deeply and looks away quickly, not knowing he'd change right out of his clothes beside her bed pretty much. She was pretty much covering her eyes in embarrassment. "Eragon, what the hell?! You know you could of used the restroom!" she yelled at him, as she kept her eyes covered. Although she did see the scars on his scaly back and chest, but as soon as he started to take off more then a shirt. She had quickly covered her eyes.

As Kiro entered the lab, he walked over to Tails and Nova to check on T.D. Iblis shifted uncomfortably at the wolf's question, giving the scientist the floor to explain things more properly. In that instant, Balto was starting to regret his "Q&A" session with his new friends. He learned that Eggman used mind controlling technology in order to bend D.L. to his will and used him as a tool for destruction. With the hedgehog as his sword, Eggman cut a path of death and destroyed what was left of the Freedom Fighters. With the full story now given to him, he could understand why Tails' security system went on high alert when they first arrived.
The wolf stayed quiet as T.D. tried to change the conversation. He smiled at the dog and decided to follow his example.
"I see. All of this makes sense to me." he said. "Forgive me for asking such personal questions, but I just needed to know...if it had always been like this. You see, I was born on Angel Island and spent the majority of my life there. I never traveled to the land below like Knuckles has. Based on all of the stories he used to tell me as a youth, I did wish to adventure pass the borders of my land. Perhaps I would've been able to meet all of you under better circumstances."
He kicked off the wall and started making his way toward the exit of the lab.
"I agree with T.D. about D.L. He could really use a good ear to ease his troubles. We've been granted a reprieve from dealing with Eggman, so let's make the most of it everyone."
He then left the laboratory to be with his clansmen. ------------ Umber ran through the underground city until he reached the hospital. He flew threw the entrance and nearly crashed at the front desk.
"Hey! Is a girl with hair like mine being held here? Name is Serenity Mythos?" he asked in a hurried fashion.
"Well, let's see," the receptionist replied as she checked the database. "Hmm....Hmm...Ah, yes. She was checked in about a few hours ago."
"Can I see her?"
"Sure, sir. Allow us to escort you."
With the male nurses accompanying him, Umber walked through the hospital until he reached his sister's room. When he walked inside, he could see the young girl sleeping soundly. The conditions here were a thousand times better than in the base aboveground. With her being in this medical facility, it really felt like she could wake up at any moment.
Umber watched her sleep and gently stroked her face.
"Just you wait, sis." he whispered carefully. "I'm going to bring Vash back real soon."
Kiro could feel the tension in the air when D.L. was brought up. Tails story was no surprise to him. After being in this world for a while, he knew the circumstances of what everyone has been through. He wanted to know more, but there was a more important subject in the matter right now. Kiro knew something was off about D., but he didnt have the time to take his feelings into condieration due to the situation. Since now that everyone is settled for the time being, he figured it would he wise to have a little heart to heart with one another before they start thier bot stomping of the century tomorrow. After hearing Light talk about D.L.'s problem, Kiro couldnt agree any more. And when T.D. began to move, Kiro tried to quickly refrain him from doing anything rash, but he was already off the table before he could say anything. The moment of watching everyone struggle made him wince, Luckily, Nova was able to get through to him before he could have possibily done anymore damage. But the fact that Light and T.D. were showing empathy for D.L. made the situation easy for the young hedgehog to take in. And seeing how Nova came such a long way from listening to Eggman to becoming such a sweet boy made it all the better. For a moment, he wondered if his influence on the little hedgehog boy might have had anything to do with it. But he then shaked it off. All he thought was that he only point him in the right direction and nothing more.
The moment Nova settled T.D., Kiro crossed his arms and sighed, "I couldnt agree more...". In that moment, he walks up to T.D. and wraps his arms around their cybernetic friend and gently lifts him back up onto the table. He then scratches his ears and does something he never thought he'd do again. It was quick, but Kiro leaned in giving T.D. a little nuzzle with his nose. "You havent changed....". he said giving T.D. a warm smirk. He then passes Nova and gives him a surprise ruffling of his quills with one hand. "Look out for him.", he says before heading toward the door.
Before stepping out, the young hedghog looks back at Light for a moment silently for a moment with his usual stern look and silently nods as a way of saying,"I got this". He then looks at Tails one more time, wishing he could have talked with him a little, but others will have to come first. The least he could do right now was help everyone make peace with themselves before himself. From what Umber said, thats whats more important right now. And even though Kiro has no one to make peace with anymore, the least could do was do something he needed to for a long time. Be a friend.
He gently closes the door and sets out to look for D.L. "I hope your okay.", he thought to himself. He wasnt sure what to say to him when he finds him. But there is one thing he understands that has close common ground with D.L. "I know D......I know", he said as he starts asking around to see where everyone has seen him. As expected, he couldnt get much out of them, which made him scowl for a moment. Luckly, he ran into the doctor from earliar, who was more than willing to help. He recalled seeing him at the hotel doors where Umber was staying at as he was leaving to grab some extra supplies. Kiro gratfully patted his shoulder and ran off heading straight toward the hotel, which wasnt far off.
"Damn that kid is strong for his age.", he said rubbing his shoulder and winced at the soreness. "What the hell have they been feeding him?", he thought to himself before heading back to the hospital.

TD drooped his ears more as Kiro picked him up carefully, setting him on the table again. Although what surprised him was the close nuzzle to the nose, though it was quick but he felt like hes had this happen before. It just seemed familiar somehow, but he couldn't remember why.
As Kiro left to go check on D.L, TD whines a bit silently. Snapping out of his thoughts, as he realized he was on the table again. "I don't like being on the table... when can I actually get to walk and run, Tails?" he said towards the fox, finally saying something to him. Although Tails seemed not too surprised, just didn't know TD could talk. Mostly because he was so quiet earlier.
Tails smiles warmly towards TD though. "As soon as you rest and recover first." he then sighs and looks at the bandaged part on TD. "You better not try moving too much or you'll undo the stitches." ---------------------------------------------------------------------- ((lol that poor doctor xD))

At the hotel's front entrance, on the right side of the wall. D.L was still standing there, leaning against the wall behind him.
His fists tightening as they hanged by his sides, his face still hidden beneath his spikes. As he struggles to hold in his emotions, breathing kinda shaky as he tries to calm down. Feeling dizzy as well from the stress he was feeling.
He felt kinda ill from holding such things in and it was tiring him deeply, but truthfully he was much better at holding this stuff in when he had no one to care for. No friends or anyone close to him, and yet now it was proving difficult to control, with all the people starting to act like hes apart of this world with them. Plus now that his memories are back, his mind has been slowly remembering every single detail. All the things hes done without control of his actions. The families, and freedom fighters, even the children hes killed by his hands.
He felt like a monster and defiantly didn't feel like he belonged here. Pretty much wishing he had just stayed in the dark abyss of Light's soul, never to emerge from the shadows again until he forgot everything. Even if he had to forget the friendship he had gotten from the others, it was better to just forget then to endure and hide what's on his mind. Although before D.L could move from his spot, he ears perk up to the sound of rushing foot steps. And D.L only had enough time to slightly calm himself, but it was still pretty obvious he wasn't doing okay by the look of his eyes. Seeming troubled somewhat, but he kept a cold gaze as he looked at Kiro. Which usually was the look he gives when he doesn't like being disturbed or bothered, but even then he was just not use to others caring what he does. As long as it didn't evolve others.
After awhile of standing there silently, even though it wasn't that long. D.L spoke up in annoyance. "what do you want?"
At the sound of Nina's startlement, Eragon snapped to his senses and realized his mistake. He quickly turned invisible and put the clothes on before reappearing. "S-sorry Nina..." he managed to say shamefully. One hand hung on the back of his neck in embarrassment and he looked down at the floor. Such displays of vulnerability from Eragon were unheard of. "Being Eggman's slave for so long has desensitized me, I guess..." He said as he walked to the window and looked out over the city. His expression took a more depressed turn. Being enslaved had taken a greater effect on Eragon than he had let on to everyone. He had been treated like an animal for so long, that he had forgotten common social standards like privacy. Not only now had he slipped up on that regard, but he also had let Nina see him in such a sorry state. He couldn't look his closest friend in the eyes. He was not his old, cocky self like when they were kids. Now he had been broken and mutated with chameleon DNA. He didn't even look the same. Half of the spikes on his long dragon tail were gone, he had a horn on his forehead (like espio), and his large dragon wings had bullet holes in them. Not to mention he had almost as many scars on his body as Iblis. Even though he had gained new abilities, he was not the person he used to be and he hated it.
Iblis said not a word as the group conversed. She felt sorry for D.L and wanted to help, but Kiro had already set out in search. After a moment of thought she found it best that Kiro had gone to talk to him. She had a feeling that Kiro would be able to relate to D.L on a different level; a level that would hopefully help D more than she could. Iblis turned her attention to Balto, and nodded to him as he left. But here again, she was with Light and the awkwardness was noticeable. "I think I'm going to take a walk" she said and excused herself from the group. She took one last look at Nova before leaving the lab. She had really grown fond of the kid. Then she set out into the city streets. She needed some time to think about things.
