"Wow. That's really neat." Tyler said and followed after Roy. He browsed the menu before turning to Roy. "Let's see..I think I'll have the mocha and a death by chocolate,when she gets to us. I know I've never tried crepes before,but the mocha ice cream won me over. What about you?" Tyler asked.

Roy browsed his choices carefully before finding the one he was looking for. "I'm going to go for strawberry cheesecake and cookie creme." He informed before looking at Tyler. "Ryan brings me here all the time. At first it felt weird since crepes are thin waffles. But the way they stuff it with ice cream, fruit, and assorted cremes and sauces... I found myself remembering the tastes on my train ride home." He huffed. "Now I can't get enough of the stuff."

"Then I can get a crepe!" Tyler exclaimed as he heard they stuffed them with ice cream. A few minutes later,it was their turn and Tyler walked up to the counter. "I'll have the mocha ice cream and the death by chocolate in a crepe."

Roy blinked in surprise at Tyler sudden enthusiasm, then another smile crossed his face as he watched Tyler get his order. Being able to see him this happy up close was making him forget the worries he was having not even an hour ago. After he got his own order, he turned to Tyler. "Wanna eat these outside?"

"Sure." Tyler said happily and went outside with his crepe stuffed with ice cream. "Oh my god. This is so good!" Tyler said and took a bite of the crepe

Roy took them outside and found an open umbrella table for the two of them so that they could eat without the sun beaming down on them too strongly. "I'm glad you like it." He then took a bite of his own. He savored the sweet and smooth flavor of the ice cream mixed with chunks of fruit, a serene look coming over his face as he looked out at the street.

Tyler smiled as he watched Roy. "You look so adorable when you look like that." Tyler said and ate some more of his ice cream.

Roy ended up taking a bigger bite than intended when he heard Tyler call him cute. His ears burning as they turned red. He chewed his food and swallowed thickly in embarrassment, which obviously gave him a bit of a brain freeze and hung his head during the momentary agony.

Tyler giggled and silently ate more of his ice cream. "How long have you liked me?" He asked.

Roy recovered after a few moments. "Um...how long?" He thought about it, taking another bite. "Since sophomore year, during the summer sports event. You were eating lunch." He smiled, remembering it. "We had a rare breeze that was blowing your hair. In the sunlight, you looked like you were shining. I'd never seen someone so beautiful." He slurped up some of the melted ice cream. "From that day on, I found myself seeking you out at school." He sighed. "That's how I got caught."

"By your friends?" Tyler asked,pausing from eating his ice cream. They're just a bunch of homophobic jerks." Tyler said,shaking his head. "I don't even think they can think for themselves."

Roy slowly nodded his head at the question. "Yes. They walked up talking crap about 'your kind'. I panicked...scared to receive the same treatment since I don't have many friends." He was starting to get to the end of his ice cream. "They can think, just...their heads are full of girls right now. Well, the ones in our school anyway." He then gave a short laugh. "They think I'm into older women, so I haven't had to be around them at parties."

Tyler laughed and shook his head. "You know,you'll have to tell them eventually. There are many people at school,who don't care about your sexuality. I know it's shocking to hear from such a small town,but there is."

Roy sighed, starting to eat from the bottom of his waffle since his ice cream had melted. "I'm aware I will have to tell them. Honestly, I'm kinda looking forward to it." He sighed, eating the rest of his crepe. "I've been starting to feel like I have no reason to hand out with them in the first place."

"That's good." Tyler said and finished off his ice cream. "When we go back on Monday,I'll support you. People like us need to stick together."
