Halflings

Roy whimpered as his energy was starting to be drained.

Cosette ignored the pain as Roy bit into her. God, this blood tastes weird she thought to herself.

Roy drank the blood and concentrated in where Cosette was biting and hardened this skin pushing her fangs out. He smiled and barked.
Christian turned to human form. "He said to surrender or the girl dies."

Oh no you don't! With the last bit of her strength, Cosette found Roy's stomach and kicked hard. The blow had just enough force to knock him off balance, allowing Cosette to roll away.

Roy fell to his side as the vampire rolled away and tried to get up. Before she could Roy knocked her back over and pinned her back down.
He barked and Christian looked at him. "I'm not saying that." he said
Roy growled and Christian sighed. "He said he likes them feisty"

"Oh, you goddamn PERVERT!!" Cosette shouted. "Now I'm pissed!" She grabbed at the wolf's neck and sunk her teeth into his skin.

Marina laughed and dodged Aliera's attack. "Come on Cossette. Don't let the mutt take advantage of you." She threw Aliera into a wall.

Aliera got up and grinned. "Now you pissed me off." The surrounding grew darker and her aura changed.

The wolf thrashed above her, but Cosette held on and kept drinking. Little by little, she could feel Roy weakening. The blood was healing her wounds and giving her strength. She was finally able to kick him off of her.

"Gods," she said as she got up, "that tasted horrible."

Aliera felt power emit from her as the forest burst into flames around her. She felt herself get suspended in air as she inhaled the scent of burning wood.

"Aliera no!!" Arania launched herself at her sister and knocked her out of the air and shook her. "Snap out of it!!" She felt herself get flung off and she hit a tree. Arania slumped over unconcious

Roy stood up in his human form. "You just ruined the only thing that could have controlled her. At my true strength I could have calmed her, but now I'm just as useless as your friend Gavin... that is his name right?. So if you want to live you wont resist."
He changed into a werewolf and talked Cosette and started sucking her blood.
De ja vu he thought.

Aliera flung everone back as she shook her head. She had to regain control or all her powers would suddenly go crazy. She felt someone grab her and pin her down and she looked at Gavin. He had a dagger pinned right above her heart and she thought for a second and gave a naughty grin as she kissed him. His eyes widened in surprise and he kissed her back for a second until her realized what was happening.

He pushed her away and started freaking out. "Oh my God!! I can't believe.. Ugh... Holy s**t!!" He had a weird look in his eyes that wasn't placable.

Aliera just lay there confused. She hadn't wanted to kiss him or had she?? Was it her powers taking control? She couldn't tell because there was no history on halflings. All had been killed when they were born or if any at all had survived they were under the radar. Her breathing was labored and she lay there in a weird daze and gave a slight smile as the forest stopped burning.

Marina started laughing harshly. "You are a disgrace Gavin... Seriously. You should have finished her off and don't give me that bull s**t about hating that kiss. You kissed her back." She felt weird. Was she jealous? She laughed mentally at the thought. Never but that was still really gross. She could never look at Gavin the same way again. Well the way she looked at him was always a pawn but now he was like a commoner in her eyes which was way worse.

Aithne reached the fight just as the flames on the trees went out. With a prayer to the gods, she drew both her long sword and a throwing knife. Aithne crept closer to the fight. She could hear everyone yelling to it each other miles before she arrived so she knew which one was her first target. She drew back her arm and lit the blade on fire just as she threw it. Aithne smiled as the knife hit its mark, embedding itself in the vampire named Marina's shoulder. The vampire let out a shriek of pain and in the blink of an eye Aithne was there with the blade of her long sword against Marina's throat. She placed her hand on the hilt of the knife protruding from her shoulder and applied more pressure. The vampire gasped.

"May I ask what it is you think you're doing?" Aithne growled menacingly in her ear.

Marina blocked out the pain. "What do you think I'm doing?" She asked with a hint of amusement in her voice. She threw Aithne off of her and Aithne hit the tree with a thump. She then threw some balls of energy at the girl which hit her square in the chest. "Don't mess with me."

Roy almost sucked the Vampire dry. He stopped when she could barely keep her eyes open. He jumpped up, now in his true form, and ran and tackled Marina. He didn't know who this new person in the fight was, but she was aparrently on his side. Roy then picked Marina up and threw her into a boulder about twenty yards away.
Roy then ran to Aliera. He circled around her making whimpering and growling noise, not letting down his gaurd.

Marina got up and laughed harshly. It wasn't that easy to hurt her.


Aliera lay there calmly not moving. She felt like she was floating and she didn't know what was going on.


Gavin was still panicking about being kissed. "Oh my God!!" He was banging his head against the tree trying to convince himself he hadn't liked it, but deep down he had. He shuddered.
