Halflings

Marina winced and fixed her bone.

"Damn it Roy!! I could have gotten it." Aliera's face turned red with rage and she stomped her foot causeing everyone to get thrown back. Somehow the air grew cold as her rage increased. Lightning struck by Marina.

"Oh, now look what you've done, half-breed," Cosette spat. "Now you've gone and made the halfling angr. We're all screwed now." She drew her sword and began to walk forward. She stopped and looked back, "Gavin, you okay?"

"Depends on your definition of okay," Gavin muttered, trying to force smile, despite his pain.

"That's what I thought," Cosette said as she lunged at the halfling.

Aliera raised her hands and hit the ground letting out an electric shock that imobilized everyone. She laughed. "Oh this isn't even me being completely pissed."

Roy ruffled his and walked to her. Luckily his fur coat was resistant to most earthly elemental damage (water, fire, electricity). He walked towards Aliera and did a mixture of a whimper and a growl.

She looked at Roy and understood what he was trying to say. "I'm not losing control yet. Trust me. I feel completely in control." Her eyes went completely black as she let out a wave of air knocking the vampires back. She was contemplating on what to do next.

"Aliera no!!" Arania screamed as she saw her sister in the state she was in. "You might lose control... Your eyes!!" She knocked her sister over and Aliera shook her head.

"I.. I'm fine. Get out of here Arania."

Arania let out a scream as she felt a sword on her throat. It was cold as ice as it tried slicing through her but it couldn't harm her. It just left a bluish colored mark.

"Damn I forgot these things don't work on royalty," muttered Gavin all pissed. Gavin felt something knock him back as Christian morphed and tackled him. "Aww puppy wants to play."

"Don't touch her." Christian got out before he completely changed.

Roy went to protect Arania.
He made a head twitch towards his back to tell her to jump on.

Arania got on and clung to his back. "My sister... Don't let her do anything stupid," she whispered. "I think she might... Please don't kill her if she goes out of control. I can help her if it happens." She wouldn't use her powers as much as Aliera would. She was much more cautious. "She's all I have left."


Aliera dodged Marina's attacks and sent out a ball of fire at her. Marina dodged it and melded in with the shadows. Aliera did the same and started playing around.


Marina glared as Aliera set out attacks. She barely missed the fireball. Shadows surrounded her as she sent out some attacks. How Aliera mimmicked her she didn't know. Her goal was to kill. If she died then oh well. Her cousin would just get the throne.

Cosette saw the werewolf Christian attacking Gavin. As the boy changed, she ran to him and kicked him in the chin. She drew her sword.

"Hey, dog, there's better things to chew on than him," she taunted.

Aliera screamed at the top of her lungs and the trees around her caught fire and formed a ring around everyone. She felt herself loose control.


Christian grinned cockily and bit her.

Roy looked at Arania and ran to Aliera.
Aliera got off of him.
Roy then ran to help Christian.

Cosette smirked as Christian bit into her arm. "That really hurts, you know," she said, drawing her sword. She stabbed the boy in the shoulder, and he let go, howling in pain. "Hmph, looks like you're nothing royal." She turned to face the hybrid running for her.

Roy stoped only a couple feet away from Cosette.
Christian limped behind him. Roy bit into his own arm and let someblood fall on Christian's arm and let it heal.
He then stood staring at the vampire infront of him.
Why don't I just attack? he though Can I move? He circled her to test his movement. Yeah, then whats wrong?

Cosette noticed Roy's moment of hesitation and took advantage of it. She lowered her sword and kicked the hybrid in the jaw. "What's wrong, half-breed?" she taunted. "Scared of a pure vampire?"

Cosette kicked Roy in the jaw, her foot cracked under his pressure.
Don't they understand that I have their strength and a werewolf's? he thought. He tackled her to the ground and growled loudly. She struggled, but couldn't move.

"Ow," muttered Cosette. "What is it with you and breaking bones?" The hybrid's strength was immense, much more than Cosette had anticipated. She only had one option left. "This is going to be so GROSS!" she sighed as she sank her fangs into Roy's neck.
