5 years have past since the beginning of the Eggman Empire, people are hiding in fear of being used as experiments or turned into heartless robots. It began when Eggman had taken control over Project Light, making his Negative chaos energy consume him after taking his free will by planting a chip in his brain. Enslavement for many years, Light has lost all senses of giving people mercy... since his dark side consumed him and closed his emotions, when Light faced off with Sonic in a battle... it was the last time anyone has ever heard of him, what has happened to Sonic? Who will stop Doctor Robotnik now?

After everything that Eggman has done. He continued to grab more power and control. Pretty much destroying what hope is left in the people's hearts that their hero was gone and making Dark Light his weapon upon those who dare face his army of robots. Although just as Eggman thought nothing could stand in his way. The slaved D.L has his chip damaged slightly by a kick in the head by a rebel. Together with the rebels, D.L and the others struggle to survive the harsh world and find a plan to stop Eggman once in for all. Having difficult times finding a safe place to rest in the ruins of Knothole. Their journey is just getting started.

Nova sat near the crates of food in the old abandoned home. It use to be the freedom fighters place before all chaos happened. Before Eggman completely turned cold and merciless. The more he thought about it though, the more it made him feel sad. Although with the others still out there finding Iblis, he was more worried about them. Hoping they were okay or not found by any enemies. Sighing deeply as he tries to relax and not think about it too much.

Nina noticed him sitting by himself, looking like hes a little worried about something. She pretty much knew who but she wasn't about to bother him about it. The poor kid looked pretty depressed right now. "Hey, cheer up.. D.L and others will be okay. Their pretty strong those three." She said as she sat beside the kid a bit, trying her best to cheer him up. "Besides... D.L would never let anything bad happen to Iblis. Believe it or not, hes saved her life many times." She added, knowing Nova was pretty much attached to Iblis like a lost child.

Nova looked up to Nina slightly, looking still worried but not as much anymore. "Really...? wow... he looks pretty tough though... like the kind that wouldn't do that stuff." he said and perked his ears a bit, seeming a bit surprised.

~Kiro the Hedgehog~

METAL SALLY

Dark Kiro vs Metal Sally final round theme

The young hedgehog was surrounded by a faint sinister glowing purple aura as his predatory eyes of rage glare straight into the eyes metallic soulless being. Suddenly he makes a grim cocky grin on his face with a catch phrase that was amusing in his current mind's perspective,"Its party time. Thats went the aura suddenly combusted all around him like a raging dark flame from the depths of the underworld reaching to the surface. Before Metal Sally could comprehend and theorize what was happening, her sensors were surprise when Kiro crouched down to charge and his eyes were suddenly just a mere foot away in less than a millisecond. Before she could respond, his arm was already unwinded up and his fist already in her face.
She flew at high velocity down the road bouncing and tumbling on the concrete from the intense magnitude behind that punch. Kiro's streak turned from teal to purple in the form of a speeding flame instead of a streak of light like sonic and shadow. He sync his speed riunning right next to Sally still tumbling and swat her with a verical chop upwards sending her crashing through the edge of a building and into the air. He revs up his footwork and leaves a trail of dark fire across the road, up the building and leaps up in the air after her. Before anyone could follow, he was already on top of her winding his sword for a strike. This time Metal Sally caught on and struck back against his blade. The collision made her circuits tremble as the impact from the two force made a shock wave that made the air disburse. Kiro was completely unfazed from her counter attack and stilling making that toothsome grin. In that moment, Sally calculated from his strikes and movements that Kiro has suddenly increased in strength and speed dramatically.

Eragon heard Nina and Nova talking and decided to join them. "Yeah, D.L is a pretty complicated guy. Once you get to know him though he can be really nice. Iblis is a perfect example of that. You've seen how he is with her, right?" the black dragon replied when he heard Nova's comment about D.L. Eragon grinned. "Like Nina said, those 3 will be fine. They're all a lot tougher than they look."

Iblis woke up on a hill not too far from where the battle was taking place. "Ngh... ow my head..." the light blue she-wolf groaned quietly as she rubbed her head. She sat up slowly and looked around. She felt as though she had been in some kind of trance or maybe had fallen unconscious from exhaustion. She couldn't really remember much of what had happened. Iblis' ears perked up and alert as she heard a building collapse. For a moment, she thought she heard a yell. "Was that... D.L?!" Iblis quickly got up worried about her friend and started to run to the scene. Feeling the urgency of the situation Iblis ignited her fists and shot fire at the ground to thrust herself faster toward the scene. Her blast didn't last long though before a sharp burning sensation shot through her arms. "Ack!" She looked down at the many burns and cuts that covered her arms. "Right... That's what happened... Why am I such an idiot!?" she said but yelled the last part in frustration. The she-wolf had started to remember some of the past events. Like how those burns got there, her conversation with Kiro, and the ambush from Metal Sally. Judging from all the commotion, Iblis guessed that Kiro was still fighting with it. Iblis hurried to the rubble and started to move pieces from the large pile. "Hello? Is anyone in there? Please say something if you can hear me!" Iblis called as she continued to dig. Soon she spotted something white under the rubble. "Hey! You alright?" she asked but paused a little shocked at who it was. Iblis took a step back. "L....L-Light..!? B-But how?! You were- You've been-" Iblis stuttered and was at a loss for words. The she-wolf managed to gather enough sense to help Light out of the rubble. "...It's been so long..." Iblis managed to say finally.

((you did it correctly, Zora. No worries xD and sorry for being away for a few days! It's been a very busy week as always. Plus my internet was being dumb at times.))

Nova nods and smiles a little as he thought about it. D.L did act very protective over Iblis when he was around, he also seemed to be shy around her and didn't show any threatening composer. D.L seemed more calm and opened to her then others and even if he was upset with her, he didn't seem to want to start a fight with her. Just seeming like he wanted to chat about it. "I guess your right.." he said then looked at Nina and Eragon slightly but mostly Eragon. "Does D.L like Iblis?" he suddenly blurted out.

Nina coughed a bit from that sudden question, truth be told she wasn't sure if D.L liked Iblis but he acted sorta like he did. Although it wasn't noticeable unless you happened to see the way he acts around her alone, which she has seen back at the hideout that was underground. She had a peek while they were chatting alone once. "um... well.. I guess you could say D.L might. He has been acting different around her..." she spoke truthfully.

Light awoke as he noticed he was trapped in rubble, he tried to move but his body hurt a bit from the fight. After awhile he started to hear someone though calling and the rubble being moved slowly. Just when he could fully tell who it was, he sighed in relief, knowing it wasn't Metal Sally trying to kill him. "Yeah... it's been awhile Iblis.." he said weakly as she helped him out of the rubble. "Sorry about being away for so long... but you know.. being trapped in your own mind and not being able to do anything but wonder what's going on." he said and looked a bit sad. "Yeah... pretty scary... not sure how D.L deals with that... emptiness.." he mumbled a bit quietly at the end about D.L.

Eragon nearly fell over at Nova's sudden question. It had caught him off guard. "Uh..." Eragon cleared his throat. "Well... Honestly, I don't really know. We never talked about it since D.L and I aren't too close... It's possible though. He does act different with her" Eragon said after Nina spoke. The question had occurred to him before in the past, but he didn't want to ask D.L about it. The dragon figured that a question like that might anger the dark hedgehog.

Iblis held on to Light as he spoke so that he wouldn't collapse. He looked pretty beat up and she wasn't sure if he could move around on his own yet. "It's fine... I understand..." Iblis replied. "He's strong... but it's a different type of strong. His time in solitude has toughened him; hardened his soul. He has something that gives him hope. A reason to keep fighting..." Iblis replied to Light's last remark. Her tone seemed proud, like she looked to D.L with respect. She then remembered how Light and D.L didn't get along and wondered if Light still hated D.L. Iblis hesitated before saying quietly, "...He's not a bad guy y'know..."

Nova understood why they wouldn't be close friends with D.L. He seemed to be the very tough and keep to himself kind of guy. "Well... I think it'd be better not to ask him. He might get angry if anyone asked him that question." he said and smiled a little, it would be kinda funny though to watch someone ask him that. Although it'd be better if they didn't bother him, still Nova couldn't help think it'd be super funny reaction.

Light was sorta speechless for a moment with what Iblis said, it seemed obvious that she looked up to him. He couldn't even remember mostly everything on what happened but, it seems D.L did something to change her mind about him. "I guess a lot happened while I was gone..." he said and looked around a bit. The place looked like it was in ruins. "I remember a few things... D.L had done some really bad things under Eggman's control... although he did a lot of good too..." he sighs and looks at Iblis. "He saved you from a few things... I remember a bit about that... even that first thing that happened, when you got shot... I'm still surprised about that." he said and smiled a little. "I guess hes not as bad as I thought he was. The bad stuff he did was Eggman's doing with the control chip." He spoke truthfully.

~Dark Kiro~

METAL SALLY

Dark Kiro vs Metal Sally final round theme

Kiro narrows his eyes with a crack smirk across his cheek as he violently shoves Metal Sally away with the thrust of his blade. He quickly sheathes it up. But before Sally couldnt conclude he was lowering his defenses, Kiro surprises her with a powerful spin dash in mid air. With no surface to bounce off. Suddenly, he fires at her with a homing attack with his dark aura making him look like a dark purple streak. The momentum of his spin and velocity the homing strike of the attack was winded into his arm as he pounds her right in the kisser with a loud smacking boom echoing in the air. Even without a surface to push himself at her, he still managed to use some kind of powerful force to support his counter attack.
Even with the strike coming at her at the blink of an eye and flying all the way downward at a vertical angle, he processors were baffled by what he just did. The strike completely knocked out all connections she had with the empire. Her metallic body crashes like a meteor through the edge of a building near Light and Iblis. The impact of the crash made her scrape across the concrete, bounces of a car like a rag doll and ends slowly slowing down from the rugged surface of the concrete her metal body was grinding against. Facing facedown just several meters away from Light and Iblis, she slowly pushes herself up to reveal a deep dent in her cheek and half her body scraped deeply with peices of metal dust on the ground behind her. "Im...possible...", her metallic voice muttered weakly as she pushes her body. But then, her sensors picked up something coming at her from above as she quickly fires her thrusters to get away. Only to end up being missed by an arm crushed like an aluminum can by the steel-toe boot of a demonically enraged young hedgehog.
Watching Metal Sally thrust her body rightside up with her thrusters, the young hedgehog just stands there glaring at her with a deranged looking chill in his eyes which have now turned from turquoise to red as blood and the white turned pitch black. The impact of attempting to smash Metal Sally with his from falling from the air with his boot left a deeply cracked dent with rubble under his foot. And a crushed metallic arm still twitching. Even with Kiro's increased speed and strength giving him the advantage against friend imitation metal adversary, it seems very clear to anyone that something about him has changed. Kiro's nature has completely changed.

"Yeah, probably" Eragon nodded in agreement with Nova. The black dragon stood, looked around at everyone in the warehouse, and then glanced over at the door. Nobody had returned yet and it was starting to bother him. Eragon had been putting on a brave act for Nova, and didn't want the kid to freak out now. He gently nudged Nina to get her attention. The faintest look of worry showed in his eyes. "Something isn't right... They should've been back by now. I know Iblis can be difficult, but with Kiro and D.L out there with her it shouldn't take this long..." he thought to himself suspiciously.

As Light spoke Iblis remembered all the past events that he mentioned. "Yeah..." was all she said in response. Suddenly Metal Sally crash landed in front of them. "We gotta get you out of here, Light. You're in no condition to fight." she said, but was unsure if they would be able to get away with the robot so close. Iblis was about to attack until she saw Kiro. His new appearance surprised her. She could hardly recognize him. "Holy crap... Kiro? Is that you..?" she asked cautiously. The she-wolf wasn't sure what to make of this situation. She was dangerously close to Metal Sally, her friend Kiro had somehow completely changed, and she was unsure of Light's condition. Iblis didn't know whether to fight, or flee with Light. The she-wolf didn't dare drop her guard. She held Light up with one arm, and had her other arm ignited and ready to defend.

Nina looked up at Eragon, she could tell he was worried. Although she didn't want him to go out into danger too. "I'll be back, Nova." she said as she looked at Nova for a moment, then walked a good distance away so she could talk to Eragon privately. "Eragon... I know... it's making me worry too." she sighed and looks at him, she was really worried too that it was taking them so long. D.L might of ran into some trouble or Kiro and Iblis did. As they were talking though, Nova was looking at them. Seeming like he was curious what they were talking about.

Light noticed Metal Sally land near by, just a few distance from them. Although Kiro didn't look so good right now. He didn't look like himself at all, like he was possessed her something. "this doesn't look good..." he mumbles quietly, although he tried to stand up himself. His body hurt all over but he'd try to fight if he had to. He'd do whatever to protect Iblis, although it seemed D.L would do the same as well.

~Dark Kiro~

Dark Kiro vs Metal Sally final round theme

Kiro didnt make any response to Iblis when she called to him. His eyes were completely dead set on his target. Standing firmly as a marble statue, he glares as a toothsome smirk crept to the side of his face. At first he seemed he wanted to fight for survival. But now it seems his awareness of danger and violence has turned into pleasure.
Nearly all of her functions were damaged from the young enraged hedgehog's assault. With that last strike she took to the head, her head laser was damaged. And now with only the use of her thrusters for movement and her remaining arm, fighting him head on with her energy blade would be her only option. But after calculating the extent of his speed and strength, she knew she wouldnt stand a chance against him at this point. If only Dr. Eggman had kept up maintenance, she would have lasted longer. " Engaging final protocol. Beginning countdown ", she spoke from her metallic cold voice as her chest lit up, revealing her power core and an electronic counter sign. The ignition of her thrusters began charging at full power as she holds out her remaining arm emitting her last energy blade.
"Aw too bad. Did the aluminum princess sprung an oil leak?", Dark Kiro raised his eyebrow in amusement as dark chaos energy charged into his fist.
"5....4...3..2...", Spoke her timer as her thrusters blasted at high speed with enough course to send trashed cars flying up behind her. But at the last second before she got close enough to Kiro, her thrusters changed angles at shifted her target toward Light and Iblis. Why Would she do that? Going against her objective to kill her primary target.
At the very moment, Kiro's keen eyes noticed her aim at Iblis at Light behind him. His consciousness finally took notice to the hedgehog and the wolf girl. At that moment, he saw Kouta and Lucy in them both. And his lust for battle, turned into anger and fear. He roars in anger as his body ignotes in a dark fiery dash towards them. His dark purple stream curved past Metal Sally with in the blink of the last second of the bomb ready to explode. At the very last millisecond when Metal Sally said 'one', everything stopped. She remained in place just a few inches away from Light and Iblis. She suddenly notices an arm has plowed right through her armor like an aluminum can and her power core was right in its hand out of her back.
"Zero", said Kiro as he rips his arm out of the defeated Metal mobian by pushing against her with his foot and lets her fall to the ground. The power core burns out in his hand as he pants in frustration with his red eyes staring down at her. He then crushes the core in his hand and lets the pieces fall.

Light watched helplessly as Metal Sally came towards them, knowing he couldn't run and get Iblis to safety in his condition. He had thought it was all over then and there, but Kiro came in just in time before she could blow up at close range. Although still Kiro looked pretty off and had those red blood eyes, even though he saved them he still felt uneasy around Kiro right now. He had no idea what happened to him though after he distracted Metal Sally from shooting him back then.

Everything had happened so fast. One minute she was helping Light, and the next she was staring death in the face. Of course such events were not unheard-of in the she-wolf's life. Iblis had stared death in the face a many number of times throughout her life. Had it not been for Kiro's quick reaction though, they would've died right then and there. Iblis' life had flashed before her eyes. She had been paralyzed with fear knowing that there was no way she and Light could've gotten out of that alive. Iblis stood motionless and flameless, as if trying to process what had just happened. After a moment she snapped out of her shock and looked toward Kiro. "Th-Thank you" she said to Kiro humbly. She wasn't sure what was up with Kiro, so she acted with caution. Unsure of this new demonic hedgehog. Iblis glanced at Light. "We need to get you back to the others. They can fix you up and I'm sure they'll be glad to see that you've returned" the she-wolf advised to Light. They would have to travel quickly and quietly since the fight with Metal Sally had made such a large commotion. Iblis was certain that this place would be full of suspicious robots pretty soon.

Eragon walked with Nina and listened to her talk, but did not reply. He had heard a building collapse earlier and was worried that the others had gotten into trouble. Eragon looked down at the ground. "I just hope they're okay..." he sighed as he scratched his head and let his arm flop down at his side. With his other hand he gently held Nina's as a way of trying to comfort her. After a minute, Eragon looked back at Nova and then at Nina. "We should get back to Nova. He's probably curious or suspicious about why we left" he said.

Light sighed and flinched a bit when he tried to stand on his own, his legs hurt a bit from the burns but he was still able to walk. It just hurt slightly to move or stand. Although he was mostly concerned if Kiro would snap back to himself again and come with them before more robots patrol this area. "...yeah.. we better go though before more robots come." he said then looked towards Kiro slightly. He felt that D.L was worried about him, knowing that D.L had made a few friends it seems. Although, something was also on his mind. It also seems that D.L has a close bond with Iblis, but he wasn't going to bother Iblis about it. He'd rather not upset his best friend the she wolf. He could faintly remember a few things that happened but not everything.

Nina nods slightly, squeezing his hand gently that was holding hers. "okay..." she said then sighed a bit. Trying to cover up how worried she was but it was hard. She just hoped no more people would die in this war, just praying that wherever that building collapsed wasn't near those three that were out there. "He probably will ask... you know.." she spoke up, knowing Nova was a smart kid. He seemed to know when something was up.

Nova sighed and looked down at his hands that was on his lap. He knew the others were taking a long time to get back. He could feel something was up and sensed the destruction going on, out there. Knowing it was some kind of robot out there causing all of it. His hands tighten a bit into fists, it was proving to be really difficult not to go out and see what's going on.

Sitting in a room inside the warehouse, Umber watched as his little sister, Riola, slept peacefully. The small beeps that came from the heart monitor were like little needles that pierced his skin with each of her heartbeats. It hurt him to see her like this. But it hurt even more to know that it was their older brother, Vash, that created this opportunity for them. Since he gave himself up to become a genetic experiment, Umber and Riola were able to leave the mines and fight for survival in this war-torn world. But Umber had joined the Resistance and he was determined to fight and save his brother. He grit his teeth and clenched his fists in frustration as he looked at his slumbering sister.

Eggman...you did this...your a** is mine!

Before he started to throw his fists around and break something, the black dog left out of the room and walked to the main area of the warehouse. He looked up and saw Nova, Nina, and Eragon here. The energy was quiet and quite somber, so he decided to ask what was going on.

"Hey, guys. What's with the long faces, eh?"

Balto's eyes suddenly shot opened as he lied there on the street of the ruined city. He slowly picked himself up, shaking his head as he reached his feet.

Gahh...what happened? The...last thing I remember is...

He closed his eyes and recalled the events that led to him losing consciousness. He had joined some would-be Freedom Fighters against a powerful robot's assault. Realizing this, he opened his eyes and started to run back to where all the fighting took place. By the time he got there, however, the fighting was over.

"Is everyone all righ-"

He stopped in mid-sentence as his nose caught the scent of something sinister. His crimson eyes narrowed down at the hedgehog who had his back to him. He looked over and saw that golden hedgehog had found support from the she-wolf. Further inspection showed that the robot, Metal Sally, had been defeated. But he could smell the scent of a predator. It was obvious that the hedgehog that defeated Sally had to resort to type of inner strength to become victorious. Balto only hoped that he remained in control of this power, and that this group didn't have another fight on their hands.
