Master Krillin, Turtle Hermit
Destructo Disk - 600 Ki Points
(気円斬) is Krillin's signature move and one of his most powerful attacks. The Destructo Disk is a razor-sharp disk of energy that can slice through nearly anything; its main weaknesses are that it is generally slow to create, it lacks accuracy, and it can't be guided once it is thrown.
Homing Destructo Disk - 800 Ki Points
(追尾気円斬, Tsuibi Kienzan, literally Chasing Energy Circle Razor), is an improved version of Krillin's Destructo Disk attack. The Homing Destructo Disk can be created in pairs, and is able to lock onto the ki signature of a target. As long as the original user maintains their concentration, the Homing Destructo Disk will continue to follow a victim. Once concentration lapses, the attack can wind up anywhere. (Must know Destructo Disk)
Thunder Shock Surprise-- 900 Ki Points
One of Krillen's most powerful attacks. The user shoots a lightning blast towards the target using both hands, and traps the opponent within an electric field that, according to Yamcha in the English dub, turns every cell in their body into electricity.
Kamehameha - 900 Ki Points
(かめはめ波, lit. "Turtle Devastation Wave" or "Turtle Destruction Wave") is the first energy attack that is shown in the Dragon Ball series. The Kamehameha Wave is the most widely used finishing attack in the Dragon Ball series, and is also a signature attack of the Turtle School.
Bluff Kamehameha - 100 Ki Points
(ブラフかめはめ波) is a comical version of the Kamehameha used by Krillen. First, Krillen holds his hands back to his side in a Kamehameha stance. However, when he fires the attack, it releases confetti and streamers instead of a blue energy wave.
Feet Kamehameha - 900 Ki Points
(足かめはめ波) is a feet-fired version of the Kamehameha used by the turtle school. the user shouts, "Ka... me... ha... me... and backflips multiple times before facing the opponent. Then, he shouts, "...ha!" and fires a Kamehameha from the feet, launching himself at the opponent and leaving him free to attack with his hands, serving as a great advantage. (Must know Kamehameha)
Double Kamehameha - 1200 Ki Points
(ダブルかめはめは) is a two-handed double version of the Kamehameha used by Krillen. First, Krillen puts his hands out at his left and right sides. Then, he discharges a blazing aura as he fires two Kamehameha energy waves out of each hand at the opponents, inflicting a high amount of damage. (Must know Kamehameha)
Scattering Bullet - 700 Ki Points
(拡散弾) is a technique invented by Krillin, and probably one of his most useful techniques. It is a powerful beam charged similarly to the Final Flash, and when fired it is slow as noted by Piccolo. It has the ability to scatter, thus being able to attack multiple enemies.
Double Tsuihikidan - 1500 Ki Points
is an energy wave barrage used by Krillin. Krillin bends down as he brings his arms to his sides and charges up. Then, he brings his hands forward and fires two reddish-orange energy waves that follow the opponent like homing missiles, inflicting a great deal of damage.
Photon Bomber - 800 Ki Points
(フォトンボンバー) is an energy wave used by Krillin. First, the user raises his right hand as he curls his fingers and charges a white energy sphere. Then, he brings his hand forward and fires the energy sphere in the form of an energy wave at the opponent, inflicting a great amount of damage.
Yamcha
Spirit Ball - 1400 Ki Points
(繰気弾 Sōkidan; English "Controllable Energy Bomb") is an attack used and developed solely by Yamcha. The attack is performed by placing one hand forward with the other gripping the arm for either support or delivering more energy flow into the one hand. He forms a ball of yellow-orange energy like a small Spirit Bomb and manipulates it by placing his two first fingers upward from the palm as if he's doing the Explosive Wave. Using this attack, Yamcha can hit the enemy several times with something of a physical attack only from long range. It explodes on the last strike.
Spirit Punch - 1000 Ki Points
An attack used by Yamcha in which he charges energy of a Spirit Ball into his fist and punches his opponent. (Must know Spirit Ball)
Wolf Fang Fist - 600 Ki Points
(狼牙風風拳 Rōgafūfūken) is a technique of rapid, charged melee strikes empowered by a wolf totem, and is Yamcha's signature attack. First seen in Dragon Ball, the Wolf Fang Fist is a unique attack in that no energy is directly expelled from the user, rather ki energy empowers the strikes with incredible force, usually through the focus of a totem animal. The technique is shown as a flurry of punches and kicks that seem much more effective and powerful than Yamcha's standard physical strikes, often times seen trailed by a red aura or the crimson wolf itself.
Wolf Fang Blowing Wind - 800 Ki Points
(新・狼牙風風拳 Shin Rōgafūfūken, also known as Wolf Fang Whirlwind Claw or Super Wolf Fang Fist) is an upgraded version of the Wolf Fang Fist. It is a physical technique requiring no use of ki. With more control of his ki, Yamcha can increase the power of his physical attacks, landing devastating blows on his opponent in rapid succession that can leave his victims battered and bruised.

It was late in the early morning that a male has landed on the island of his teacher. It was not to early, but it was just early enough for most people to be sleeping. It was a shame, but he was not the type of person who would let the time of day to stop his plan. How ever letting out a small yawn, the young male held his hands to his side letting out a little yawn before placing his hands into his pocket. It was nothing more then a way for him to pass the time, as well as let the little things in life not get to him. Taking a look around the island, sin could not help but notice it was a nice sight for his eyes to look upon the night sky with such a grand view. But having a nice view like this would cost something in return right. It did how ever, thus it would be gone when morning came around. Looking more around the island then the night sky, the young male let out a small smile from his face as he looked at the waves of the water once more letting it be a sigh and sound to help calm his mind, letting it be clear of the unwanted things that would cloud his thinking. Letting out a small little yawn, the male smiled as his body started to float above the ground like it was as light as a feather. How ever, the male was not all that heavy, so being up and over the ground was simple for him to do as flight was something that would take some time to learn. But for him, it was nothing more then a little way to help him get to the place he desired to be at with the cost of something so small. Looking around once more, the male made his way over to the top of the house on the island and took a seat upon the edge of the roof top over looking the sight his eyes had shown him on this morning of the day. |

Duos  A short detour along the route to be traveled in order to reach the Red Ribbon Facility was at the famouse Kame House. The home to almost all of the original Z Fighters, or so Duos's built in data base told him so. Duos flew above the island, at the height of the cloud line. The sea below mourned a soothing purple color as he looked down below. The sun was just now coming to surface upon this side of the planet in order to bring what the living called morning. The clouds reflected a hue of bright and dim warm colors and bathed in the sky, this only helped conceal Duos even more. But he had no worries about concealing himself at such a time, because most of the living creatures would be off resting at this time of day. Out of pure curiousity, the cyborg decided he would make a short stop on the island. He slowly drifted downward toward the coast, where he flew so low he appeared to skim the water becaues it picked up on the sides and behind him. As he approached the sandy coast, he would resume his up right position, standing at a ninety degree angle. His sensors notified the citizens that occupied the area, but Duos did not pay too much attention to it. He had the strangest craving for energy, he had had a long day and wanted to get back some of his lost effort to search for his alleged creator. Now the only problem he had was to find a decent source of power without alarming too many of the people here, but where to go.

Moving his hands to the side os his pockets from being inside, the young male smiled at the sight of a new person landing on the island, it was not late, nor early in the day to make it seem like a decent part of the day to look upon, but for the male to see some one else land on the island only meant the person was looking for something with a passion in the soul. But for Sin, he smiled at the male before letting out a small yawn escape from his body as he looked down at the male from the top of the roof of the house. It was a place for him to sit upon as well as get a view to see and over look the island for the time being if things called for it. Looking down at the new male, the sight of him on the island was not a bag thing, but it was not a good thing as well. Looking down at the male, he smiled once more before letting out a chuckle. "What do we have here, a human on a empty island, seems like you got some nerve trying to take my new island away from me." Sin smiled at the male with a little lack of emotion only to keep his hands at his side for the time being if the male was going to attack.. |

He ran from West City. Flying with the heavy blade strapped to his back, he began to free fly through the air. When he got high enough, he would just release the ki pushing him, and allowed himself to free fall through the air. The air hummed through his ears as he flew around. This was a way to conserve energy, and to have some fun while flying. Maybe he should have gotten more stuff while at the antique store? That armor looked good. And so did those arm blasters and scouter. Maybe weighted clothing would help him train faster, but then again he would have to try and find that man again end up fighting more people. No he would wait, perhaps train for the world Tournament. Maybe if he atleast got second place.
“No. First place!” He declared to no one in particular. Then he noticed the ocean coming up way faster than he had realized. “Crap!” With that he performed a U shaped lifted off, managed to not crash into the water below. Stopping for a moment he looked around. Where was he? The map had stated it would be in this direction. He should have taken the map with him. Closing his eyes he intook a breath. Great he was lost.
Floating over the water he looked all around for a moment. Still lost. Then from the waters below, something launched from the surface. Immediately surrounded by large jaws of some ‘thing’ Hero could only spread his arms and legs apart, stopping the creature from chopping down on him. A tongue flicked all around him, confused as to why not it’s prey was simply being shuffled down into his throat.
“HA!” A field of energy wrapped around Hero as he bursts out of the leviathan’s mouth. The large sea beasts cried a mute sound of agony as it submerged itself into the waters. Hero relaxed himself for a moment. “Mental note. There are big things in the water. Do not try stand over the ocean, in the middle of nowhere. Things will try to eat you.
With that little life lesson learned Hero continued his trek to find the hide-out of the Kame school. Really he would only need to fly around the world, several billon times before he could actually find it by chance. However he decided to take another route. With closed eyes he in took a breath. This time flying high above the ocean waters, so he would not be attacked again. He allowed himself to feel the energies of the world. To let them pass through him, to press against his skin and to wrap around his mind. He could see the sparks of energy all around the world. Then like a beacon of light, the nearest one called out to him. Flying towards it, his eyes still shut he made his way over the water.
His eyes snapped open when he came close to the spot. Landing down on the small island. The house in front of him was old. With an adjustment to the heavy sword he took a step onto the small sand island. Only for a bolt of energy to erupt in front of him, causing him to jump back.
“Get off my lawn you damn kids!” Shouted the voice of an old woman. Stepping from inside, there stood an old woman, taking in the appearance of Hero she grumbled something. “Look, I don’t care if you’re the best fighter in your town. I am done with martial artist!” Her voice scratched against Hero’s ear and her tone wasn’t overly pleasing.
“Are you Master of the Kame style? The Turtle Hermit?”
“And what if I am? I’m done with training brats like you. Go away.” He took a step forward but another blast of sand caused him to stifle for a moment. “Look kid. If you got a death wish then keep walking forward. We’re a far cry from anywhere.” It was a threat. A chilling one considering that he had almost been eaten earlier.
“L-look. I just want to train. I m-made a promise!” Perhaps not a verbal one, but he indeed made himself promise to go beyond the impossible like he had been told. Dropping to his knees he pleaded towards her.
“Listen kid. I really don’t care what promises you’ve made. If you don’t go now I’ll kick your a** straight off of here.” She said as Hero stood up. He got into a fighting stance.
“Then lets go!” He said, determination in his voice.
“Your funeral.” With that she attacked. A swift kick to the side of his head. However to the surprise of both Hero and her, he blocked it. “Fluke!” Then she charged a simple punch at his head. This was caught by his hands and a returned punch brought down by Hero. But his own punch was caught, and finally a simple head but by the old teacher and Hero was sent tumbling back in the sand. But that was not the end of it. He bounced up, charging at her his hands erupting in a blue orb.
“You can control your ki. Still it’s nothing compared to this!” She cupped her hands back. Time turned to a crawl for her as she charged up her energy. “KAMEHAMEHA!” With that a bright flash of blue energy erupted from her extended arms.
Hero threw his own attack but it bounced off of the beam and hit him square on. Then the forced of the blast carried him outward, into the ocean. The waters parted where the blast carried him but then splashed back into place.
“Hmph.” The teacher turned back to the house but a single orb shot in front of her. Hero stood there clutching his chest, breathing heavily. He dropped to his knees and then onto the sandy ground. “You got guts kid. I respect that.” With that she carried Hero inside.
Nearly an hour of dreamless unconsciousness later, Hero awoke to a start. Panicking for a moment that he was the in the belly of some aquatic beast, he was both surprised and relieved to find the light flick on and he was on a couch. The day had turned to night and his chest had been bandaged up. A bowl of steaming soup sat on the table in front of him alongside a glass of milk.
“I apologize.” A young woman came inside. Her hair pink and her voice soft spoken. Yet she wore the same clothing as the old woman who had pummeled. And like that her form began to age until she was at the age he saw her at. This startled Hero but it pained him to move to quickly.
“The Kamehameha.” She began sitting down, taking the spoon from the bowl and feeding him a bite. “Is a technique that was designed by the original Turtle Hermit. While variations of the Kamehameha have been made, the original Kamehameha has never been replicated until by me. You see for the user, their body will grow in strength, but it seems for me, after using it I actually revert to the stage of where I was strongest, while and after I use it.” She explained as Hero submitted to being fed. His body hurt to much to actually bend over to get the food. “It is simply one of the techniques I shall teach you.” He nearly sputtered the soup from his mouth, but managed to swallow it.
“R-really?”
“Yes. I realized I was much to harsh on you. It seems you have some talent in the fighting style. And your determination, while reckless and dumb shows that you have some talent. Now then. Rest for the night, it will do you no good to train while injured. Working through pain is for another teacher.” She left him. With that he began to eat, his hunger overpowering his pain. Afterwards he fell back, dozing away on the couch.

“No. You are not ready for the kamehameha wave.” She stated standing on the beach. Hero meanwhile stood opposite to her. He was in the formation he had seen earlier.
“B-but I can do it! Just watch Kame-” He was cut off by the turtle hermit raising her hand. A ki orb formed but it flattened down, spinning over her hand.
“This is known as the Destructo Disk. It is a razor-sharp disk of energy that can slice through nearly anything; its main weaknesses are that it is generally slow to create, it lacks accuracy, and it can't be guided once it is thrown.” She stated throwing it at him.
This caused Hero to drop the kamehameha stance and jump out of the way of the disk. Which meanwhile flew into the ocean, slicing apart the waves that it came into contact with, before dispersing on the horizon. “Are you crazy that could have taken my head off!” Shouted Hero in a panic. But merely was responded by a a chuckle.
“You see, while the Kamehameha technique is indeed powerful. You should not focus yourself on sticking to one form. See the ocean beside you? It conforms to the Earth, but if you try to hold it, what do you think happens?”
“It drips through my fingers?”
“Exactly. Be like water making its way through cracks. Do not be assertive, but adjust to the object, and you shall find a way round or through it. If nothing within you stays rigid, outward things will disclose themselves. Empty your mind, be formless. Shapeless, like water. If you put water into a cup, it becomes the cup. You put water into a bottle and it becomes the bottle. You put it in a teapot it becomes the teapot. Now, water can flow or it can crash. Be water my pupil.” With that she struck at him. But Hero managed to block once more. His arm serpented over the attacking arm and struck at her chest. This was caught by her other hand and Hero found himself spinning into the sand.
“Always remember young Hero. There will always be someone better than you. You can strive to be better than them, but another person shall hold a higher bar.”
With that Hero bounced up raising his arm. “I think I can do this. Here goes Master Genkai!” With that he launched the disk. The flying at her he watched as she easily dodged it. “Ha!” He then directed the destructo disk to fly back. Surprising both himself and Genkai. The blade however wouldn’t stop as it flew back at Hero. “Crap!” With that he managed to direct it up into the air. Genkai released a single ki blast at it, causing it to erupt.
“Well you managed not to vivisect either of us. And learn two techniques at once. I’m impressed.” He couldn’t tell if it wasn’t actually sarcasm in her voice. “Now then, I suppose you wish to learn to use the Kamehameha now.” She said in which Hero gave a happy nod too. “To bad. Your learning those techniques last.” Which once more Hero responded with a disappointed grown.
“C’mon..why not?!” He asked, his voice near a whine.
“Stop complaining like a child. I have my reasons.” She said walking away from him. Holding out one hand, a small ki orb formed over her hand.
“But I know how to use a ki orb. See.” He demonstrated shooting toward the ocean.
“I realize that, but do you know how to control it?” With that she threw the orb at him. He prepared to block but the orb swerved around hitting him in the shoulder, then in the back of the head. Finally in the stomach, causing him to fall back. He could barely glimpse Genkai directing the orb with her hand.
“Ow.” Groaned Hero looking back up.
“See? This is the Spirit Ball technique. Created by a student of the original turtle hermit is an attack used and developed by Yamcha. The attack is performed by placing one hand forward with the other gripping the arm for either support or delivering more energy flow into the one hand. “I see.” He said with a wide grin. “Alright I’m going to master this!” Hero said jumping up, ignoring the pain that his body was throbbing with. Holding his arm up, he closed his eyes. “HA!”
“C’mon my grandmother can collect more ki than you. And she’s dead. Faster!” She shouted, throwing a ki blast at him. The spirit ball in his hand dispersed as he got out of the way.
“I can’t collect ki if your shooting at me!”
“And your enemies won’t be likely to as well. Faster!” With that in mind, Hero collected as much ki as he could, collecting in his hand, as Genkai fired off another ki blast at him. He could only throw his own.. But even her slightly charged attack, destroyed his spirit ball without even stopping. It collided into Hero, causing him to fly back into the ocean.
“Ow..” He moaned swimming back to the beach. However another blast erupted in the waters in front of him, causing him to fly into the air. “What the hell!?” He asked in a shout. Of course he should be used to having the area around him erupt at all times, it was Genkai’s ‘thing’.
“Your not allowed back onto the island until you master the spirit ball technique.” She declared sitting down, watching him.
“Oh yeah?” Asked Hero, utilizing the after-image technique he tried for touching down on the ground, his eye on the sitting form of his teacher. But he was met with a strong kick into the air. “AGH!” He shouted flipping back helpless into the sky. Catching himself he growled in frustration. “You want a spirit ball! Fine I’ll give you one!” He declared forming the energy in his hands. “HA!” He threw it at her, but Genkai merely caught the orb and crushed it in her hand.
“Really?” She asked in response, throwing her own orb back at him. Hero pushed himself out of the way. Forming another orb he threw it down at her. “HA!” He declared as the orb crashed down beside her. With some effort the orb rose and pathetically tapped her on the arm before it dispersed. Meanwhile Hero found himself at the rapid end of being pummeled by her spirit ball.
“Ow. Will. You. Stop. This. Already. Please. I’m. Sorry. Ow. Ow. Ow!” He managed to speak after every hit. Culminating up to twelve hits all at once and blowing up. But Hero was already away before the explosion could take place. Floating harmlessly to the side he had another ki orb in his hand. “HA!” With that he threw the orb down at her. Using the after image technique the orb suddenly appeared beside her and struck at her. Genkai slightly surprised managed to jump out of the way, grabbing the orb in the process and throwing it back.
“HA!” A ki blast pushed behind his spirit ball, catching Hero in surprise. Both blasts hit him square on. Landing on the island below. He formed another orb in his hand. “HA!” This time the orb swerved around her. Hew directed it to fly around quickly, avoid being struck by her hands. He pulled his hand back, effectively pulling the orb towards him. Genkai tried hitting the orb back but swiped uselessly into the air. Pushing his hand forward, the orb flew at her. Erupting on her out stretched fist. “G-gotcha.” With that Hero collapsed to one knee.
“Indeed you did get me. Impressive.” Genkai said walking back into the house. “We’ll take a short break. I’ll get you something to eat.” She said calmly heading inside. Hero managed to walk behind her. His body collapsing into the couch. He pulled on his clothes. Which seamlessly ripped under his touch. “Aw man.” This was a training gi based around the Saiyan of legend Son Goku. Now the orange ki was crumbling under his touch.
“You know the young man known as Goku trained here.” Genkai said setting a sandwich down along with some water. Hero pulled himself to eat the food.
“I know that’s why I chose this as my first school. And why I chose to wear and orange gi.” Genkai set down another item next to him.
“I can tell. This is the official gi of the Kame House. It’s much like your own however it is not weighted. Some antique shop tried suing me for giving those away for free.” Genkai said with a mild chuckle. Hero took the package, wide eyed and teary hugged it.
“T-thank you.” His mood was exaggerated but the sentiment was the same. Immediately he began to strip. However as he took his shirt off he noticed Genkai still watching him. “Uh..aren’t you going to leave?” He asked putting on the new shirt.
“Spoil sport. It’s been years since I’ve seen a young man’s form. To say I’m unimpressed would be a lie.” Genkai chuckled leaving him to change. Hero in his new clothes placed his others in the trash. “Oops don’t want to throw you out.” He said to his headband, tightening back onto his head. For some reason he felt refreshed after he ate his food. Heading back outside he picked up the Z-sword. Slicing it in the air in front of him he began to practice with it. Of course he should be training with the spirit ball but he didn’t want to neglect the sword he had paid 800 zeni for.
Then as expected a ki blast flew at him, to which he cut into pieces. “Gotcha!” Then Genkai formed another spirit ball, punched the orb at him. He tried to slice this one but the velocity of the attack wasn’t impeded by the blade and the two halves struck him. Erupting he sheathed he managed to avoid the lower shot by jumped but the two one still hit him. Sheathing the blade he swung it onto his back. The weight still noticeable but he merely ignored it.
“My turn.” He declared forming an orb in his hand. Then like she, he punched it. Unlike her, the orb merely blew up when he brought force down to it. “AH!” He shouted falling back onto the ground. That sucked.
“You have to form a stable ball of energy. However you must strengthen the orb on the spot you are going to hit it. Like so.” With that she formed another spirit ball. Punching it, the orb flew into the water. The orb erupted as soon as it touched the water, spraying cold ocean water all over Hero’s new uniform. Pulling a fish from his hair he tossed it back in the water.
“Right. So like this?” Hero asked forming another orb. This time he punched it but the orb flew into the water. Simply floating on it like a beach ball before dispersing.
“No no no. You see, you made the orb too hard. In order for it to erupt you need to make sure it still weak enough to erupt. If you just did the orb like that, it would disperse and your enemy could retaliate quicker.” Giving a nod, Hero returned to striking the orb. Many times the spirit ball would fly off and explode but since it wasn’t where he wanted he would have to do it again. Sometimes it would simply explode a few paces after he punched it. He punched until his arms ached. He punched until he couldn’t feel his fist.
“Enough.” Genkai said as Hero struggled to punch the orb which bounced comically onto the ground before erupting. “Your obviously to tired to train now. Besides it’s getting dark. Get some sleep, will resume in the morning.” With that Hero pulled himself on the couch he made his home and fell fast asleep.
Inside his dreams he had thoughts of battle. Thoughts of unknown teachers, showing him the ways of the sacred arts. He could indeed do the impossible! Break the unbreakable! Touch the untouchable! He would surpass all those legends in the past. He would overcome every obstacle. Even if he had to die and return, then die and return again, Hero would become the best fighter in the universe. He would show his teachers that he wasn't a waste of time. He would show that humans could be the best. No matter what. But wait what if that urge for being the best eventually makes you inhuman? What if somewhere along the way you became something that lost their ambition? That lost their urge for simply being the best and became something that simply wanted to hurt? No he would grow beyond that. He would grow strong and keep his humanity. He would. HE WOULD!
"Wake up kid." Hero snorted for a moment as he was awoken with a splash of cold ocean water.
"Gah!" He sat up immediately chilled. Genkai chuckled as she began walking outside.
"Come on then. We don't have all day. Well wait we do." She said with a shrug. "You want to master both spirit ball techniques dont you?" She asked and without pause left him chilled inside. What was that dream? Did something inside him doubt himself? Touching the headband on his head, he shook his head. No. He wouldn't do that. He would be like Kamina and grow past that. He would be like Genkai and be as wise as her. "Are you coming or not!" The turtle hermit's voice made him run outside to which he was met with a surprise.
Infront of him were podiums. Bulls eyes painted on them. "What's this?" Hero asked as Genkai pointed to one. A beam of energy reflected off of the podium and back at her. She hit it back towards the ocean. "These are specially designed to absorb and reflect ki energy at a millisecond difference." She said looking at him. "Your goal is to hit the spirit ball a total of a hundred times before allowing it to explode." She said stepping back.
Licking his lips Hero went up to bat. Metaphorically speaking of course. Forming a ball of energy he released it and punched it. With enough forced the ball seemingly bounced off of the bullseye. Then flew at him. Preparing himself he went to punch it. Only for the force of the punch to cause the ball to erupt.
"Again." So he did again. This time he got a total of five hits before the spirit ball flew up high into the sky. His arms still hurt from yesterday but he needed to master this. After all he wasn't going to get to learn the kamehameha wave. And that technique is something he really wanted to learn.
'Boing!' The spirit ball bounced off of his head, causing him to stumble back. He had been distracted and missed the oncoming orb. "What number was I on?" He asked rubbing his smoking forehead.
"45." She responded sitting down in a lawn chair, sipping tea with a relaxed tone. After all if someone owned a small island, who wouldn't want to chill on it's beach?
Grunting Hero started again. The orb bounced off with a fast start. But soon the speed lessoned. He eventually switched arms, going back to the higher speed.
"Ninety, Ninety one, ninety two, ninety three, ninety four." She counted as Hero raised both of his hands.
"One Hundred!" He axe handled the spirit ball, slamming it into the podium, and causing it to fall over and shoot the orb into the sky. With his command it erupted on contact.
"Congratulations. You've mastered the spirit punch." She said sipping her tea without much enthusiasm. "Now then. You do know of wolves I presume?"
Immediately Hero turned to her. "Yeah! My dad's a humanoid wolf." He said with a smile. "He adopted me. He was a Budokai veteran when I was still in my diapers." He said with a chuckle. "Why?"
Genkai smirked getting up and sitting down infront of him. "Because this next technique is known as the Wolf Fang Fist. A technique developed by the same person who invented the spirit ball and spirit punch." She said calmly. Hero followed in sitting style alongside her. "First one must contact the wolf totem that exists on this island." She said closing her eyes. Doing the same Hero went into the same meditative state.
"Whoa, where are we?" Hero asked looking around. He could see the island but like two pictures super imposed over each other, another landscape arose. Then like that something came forth. It was gigantic. Bigger than the wild dinosaurs that wandered the land.
"So. This is the child raised by a wolf human? Not much to talk about." The wolf didn't speak but from it's maw echoed words.
"Great wolf. Another student wishes to learn of the wolf fang fist style."
"Why? Those damn monkies will only surpass him. My only student was far superior than any other human but weak in comparison to those yellow haired aliens." The wolf said in anger.
"Yes. But he is human. He wishes to aspire beyond them." Genkai said calmly. "Don't make me get the Turtle out here."
"That slow totem is only an annoyance!" The wolf bellowed loud enough that Hero had to keep himself from flying off. "But fine. I shall teach the boy." Turning to Hero the wolf lowered himself down to his gaze. "Tell me human. What is the name of the man who adopted you?"
"F-F-f-f-f." He could only stutter at the sight of the beast.
"Stop stuttering! I asked you a question!"
"Fenrir!"
"Interesting. I had a student of the name. And you said your father was a fighter as well? I suppose then I shall train you in both the wolf fang fist as well as the second technique."
"You honor us great wolf." Genkai said with a bow. The turtle hermit in turn made Hero bow as well.
"Now then..let us proceed."
Hero's eyes snapped open. Suddenly he was forced up as if possessed.
"Do not worry. This is the way I teach." Hero but no Hero said. This was confusing. So the wolf spirit was speaking but not he? But he wasn't Odd. "That is correct." It seems he could also read hero's mind. "Very well let us begin." With that Hero took a different stance. "No energy is expelled, rather it is merely kept inside the fist and legs. Their strikes increasing much greater." With a nod the wolf spirit directed him at Genkai.
"Wolf. Fang FIST!" He shouted charging at her. He could feel his strength increasing his speed and strikes. Genkai predicted each move with ease. As they fought, Hero felt like he was getting hang of the technique. "HA!" He shouted but this broke the concentration of the wolf inside him and Genkai managed to get a blow on him, knocking him back.
"Sorry. Kid managed to reassert control. Funny how he can do that." The wolf spirit said getting Hero up.
"So you mean I wasn't doing that?"
"Of course not, the wolf spirit direct the student the first time, and then they proceed to learn it." Genkai said chuckling. Then Hero felt the massive power leave him.
"Try on your own kid. This realm is making me sleepy." Grunted the wolf totem and with that Hero was left alone.
"Ready?" Genkai got in the same stance as he did before. "Wolf fang fist!" She attacked. Striking at him, her fist took on a red glow. "Who the master?" She asked each strike crackling against him. "I've always wanted to say that." She chuckled as Hero tried blocking but a final strike and for a moment he could here a howling and see a wolf behind Genkai as he was struck back down into the sand.
"Ow." Hero hopped back up grunting. He got back into the wolf stance. "Wolf."
"Fang." Genkai said the next word her own stance going back into it.
"Fist!" They shouted in union charging. Hero could feel the energy channeling through his limbs. The same red glow emitted into his hands as they both struck at each other. "Ha!" (4792)

"Pretty good. But your too slow!" Each of their strikes crashed, red sparks flaring off of their hands. He went for a kick but it was blocked by her hands. She lifted herself off of his leg and he was kicked in the side of the head. He ignored it. Using his free hand he hit her in the chest, knocking her back into the sand. She flipped herself back and the pupil took another charge. For a moment they clashed. Their arms pressed hard against each other. From the corner of his eyes, he could see twin wolves in the same stalemate as they. But the wolf that represented him became overpowered. And just like that so was he.
Sprawling on the ground Genkai stood over him. "You pick up quick." She helped him up and walked a distance away. "You managed to replicate it on the first try. That shows you have some potential for physical combat." She nodded as she took the stance again. "Come at me again."
"Right. Wolf fang fist!" He charged but Genkai changed her own stance. Just enough for Hero to catch.
"Wolf Fang Blowing Wind!" She attacked him. Hero found himself unable to defend himself against the onslaught of her attack. He found himself bruised and battered on the sand. Again.
"W-what was that?" He asked sitting up.
"The advanced move. Of course the normal technique is no match for the advanced move. But it's best to show you." She said looking up at the sky. "Time to eat." Like that she went back into the house. If one thing Genkai was helpful for those who had a healthly apetite. Making his way into the kitchen he sat down at the table as food was served.
"So. Are there more animal totems?" He asked as Genkai shrugged in response.
"Maybe. But I've only seen the turtle and the wolf. I've heard rumors but nothing factual." She said as she began to eat. They both sat silent for a moment as they ate.
"So. Why do you live as a hermit?" Hero asked, causing Genkai to sputter in her food. "Thats not an answer." Hero said with a slight chuckle.
"I live alone because...well the previous hermit did so. And I suppose I like to live alone. And it makes it harder for pesky kids to bother me." A nod towards previous events.
"Oh..so do you have any family?"
"So many questions. Yes I did have a family. But my husband died long ago. My children have rejoined civlization. However my grandchildren visit me sometimes. And people like you constantly bother me to teach them." She said with a chuckle.
"I see. Done." He set the empty bowl down and headed back outside. Genkai sat for a moment, her head bowed for a moment. She really missed her family. But she couldn't let her pupil see that. She was the turtle hermit. A shell harder than steel. But sometimes it hurt too much to repress it.
"Ha!" He struck at the bulls eye. His punches bounced back, it seemed to absorb any ki fueled attack and pushed his hand right back. "Ha! Ha! Ha!" He continued striking until his arms were sore.
"Are you ready to learn the Blowing Wind technique?" She asked intaking another breath.
"Do I!" He said in response taking the same pose before.
"No. We do not fight just yet. First you must meditate. Learn to control the ki within you." She said once more sitting down. Hero followed once more. "Feel the energy within you. It is apart of you."
"Like my limbs?" Hero asked.
"No talking. Yes it's like your limbs. Moving as you want them. But it is also like your heart. Moving without your need to but also moving to keep you alive." She said as Hero started to speak but simply went quiet.
"Now then. Since you can sense ki, look into yours." He did just that. The familiar blue energy within him. This energy moved like a fire, all around and inside him.
"Now then, look into your core. Find the source of that energy."
HE searched for a moment. Not seeing anything but the same blue light he about spoke, until he saw it. Spiraling inside of him was the source of his ki. For a moment he could see it spin but it moved to fast for him to keep track.
"Now I want you to take that energy and control it."
He mentally grasped the energy, but any hold on it was dispersed by that spinning. For a moment he couldn't think of why he couldn't touch it. Then he decided to move with the spinning. Rather than go against it. Like that he could feel the energy come to him rather than him be sucked into it. This energy was his! It was strong. But it could still grow. He would nurture this power, from a small seed into a great tree!
"I did it." Hero said in a whisper.
"Very good now spread that energy through out you, distribute it evenly."
With that he began to pull the energy through out himself.
"Now use it!" Genkai struck at him. But Hero raised a hand to stop it. "Hehe." A smile crossed her face and they commenced their battle from before.
Hero pushed her hand back, pushing himself up with one hand, he struck at her with his feet. Kicking quickly at her. Genkai moved out of the way of the strikes and grabbed at Hero's leg, spinning him around and sending him flying into the ocean.
But Hero kept himself floating in the air. Pushing off of the water, he struck at her again. His fists charged red. Their strikes immediately sparked once more. She slid past his attacks, while Hero took them, pushing himself through pain. Then like that he struck at her, his hit caused time to slow down all around them. The waves frozen. The wind stopped. For a moment their eyes met. A smile crossed Genkai's face. In response so did Hero's. Then time resumed for them with a crash of the waves. Genkai flew back into the air.
Breathing heavily Hero moved to one knee. He was exhausted. Funneling all that energy throughout himself was something he wasn't used too. Yet he felt like he could easily do it again. "Get some rest kid. I need to take a break." Genkai said heading inside. This last week had been a killer for Hero.
"No." Hero stood up spitting saliva onto the ground. "I'm going to master the wolf fang fist style." He got back into that stance. "I don't care if I have to fight myself!" With that he shifted using his after image technique he literally began to fight himself. Although copies wouldn't move he pretended that their strikes coming at him was real. He pushed himself back and as soon as he made a strike, he made the image move to look as though he had been struck. Genkai merely watched in silence.
The boy has potential. But he doesn't know when to give up. "Very well. Here." She moved opposite of him. Hero's mirror images dispersed. "I shall be sending a low end kamehameha at you. Your goal is to keep hitting it in order to keep it from overcoming you." Then she attacked. "KAMEHAMEHA!" The blast fired at Hero. It was low in intensity to the one he had been first faced too but still powerful all the same.
"Wolf Fang Fist!" He shouted charging. He met the blue beam. Striking at it rapidly. 'Gotta keep going, c'mon c'mon I'm doing fine I'm doing fine. I'll be okay as long a she doesnt-'
"HA!"
'Power it up.'
His punches soon became irrelevant as he was overcame by the blue energy. The blast sent him flying back. Hero found himself on the receiving end of another surge of energy. As he was being carried into the air he bounced back he shouted. "Wolf Fang Blowing Wind!" He shouted punching the attack in a much more rapid physical attack. The kamehameha began to disperse as the ghostly image of a wolf began to devour the kamehameha behind. Then as he came to Genkai he released the final strike upon her.
Genkai waiting for this merely stopped the turtle hermit wave and jumped back, avoiding the strikes. "Now that you have learned to defeat the kamehameha wave. You can learn it."
"REALLY!" Her shouted bouncing up in down. "One moment please." Then he fell down unconscious on the sand.
"Suppose I should have went easier on him." Genkai murmured, carrying the young man back inside. Whilst inside Hero had another one of his dreams.
"Oh Hero your so awesome!" Squealed the voices of his adoring fans. Three twins, applied a kiss to him, one with pink eyes and long red hair, one with blues eyes and blonde pigtails and finally a green eyed one with short black hair.
"Girls girls, there will be more time for you later. But for now I have a match to go to." Hero said with a smile. Stepping into the budokai ring, it was the final match. He had come all this way to win. He defeated Saiyans, a dragon, androids and even a Buu monster. Now he simply needed to win one final match.
"Good to see you finally got here." Infront of him stood. Well himself. Wearing darker colors than him to signify the difference. While this Hero wore orange and blue, the opposite wore red and black. Even his eyes were a shade off. "What is this?" Hero asked taking a fighting stance unsure of what's happening.
"I'm you of course. Just...you in a different light." He said grinning and all Hero could see was darkness. Was this what he would become? Was this what he was worried about before? Loosing all inhibition?
"I seek to make a wish on the dragon. To become immortal!"
"No! We're using those balls for peace!" Shouted Hero in response. He had in the past learned the story of the dragon balls. "For the betterment of makind!"
"Pft. Mankind? All these people have become obstacles for greatness. While we shall become above them all!" Hero declared and with that the battle begin. They knew each other's moves. From the simple ki blast to the kamehameha wave their techniques were all the same. However the difference was this Bad!Hero was more ruthless with his techniques. "C'mon then boy show me this true power. For the betterment of mankind!" He said releasing a volley of ki blasts upon Good!Hero.
Good!Hero used a simple shield to block the attack and responded with after-image technique and used the spirit ball to hit him. "I worked for everything! We are not simply getting the dragon balls for immortality! If anything we are going to train until that becomes irrelevant!" He shouted back but was responded to a heavy kick in the back, sending him into the stage. Then Bad!Hero slammed down upon him with a laugh.
"Work? We're warriors. But shortcuts is all about to the path of power." He whispered into Hero's ear with a grin. "I am what you will become. It's inevitable. You cannot resist me. You cannot beat me. So stop trying!"
"NO! I will not become you!" He responded, his energy flaring up and throwing him into the sand stage below. "KAMEHAMEHA!" With that a blue surge of energy shot down below, crashing into BAD!Hero. "Ha. Is that all? Wolf Fang Blowing Wind!" And just like in the waking world, Bad!Hero pummeled his way through his attack and grabbed Good!Hero by the neck. Several feet in the air he began to choke him.
"It's inevitable."
Hero awoke with a start. His throat felt dry and the sky was dark out. Genkai came from outside. "Oh. Your fever broke good." She said setting a glass of water down for him. "You've been out for two days." She explained.
It must of been the constant use of energy. He had drew upon his life force for that last attack and it came back to bite him. "Oh..Then we should get bac-" He fell back down on the couch, his legs felt weak and his body shivered.
"Your not going anywhere. You've been training hard for the last several days and you need to rest." She commanded to which Hero could only do as she said. "But you will get to learn the kamehameha technique when your feeling better." Spoon feeding him again Hero groaned. "You know this reminds me when my little boy was sick. I would feed him when he was laying in bed. I suppose this is simply a moment to recall that time." She said smiling at him. Hero smiled back but sadly.
"I-I never had a mother. I mean father was always there for me. But." He drifted off looking away.
"Well I think any mother would be proud to call you there mother." Genkai said for a moment recalling thousands of memories in the past. "Im going to let you rest." With that she left and Hero leaned back. Imagining what it what have been like if he indeed had a mother. Would she be proud of him? He'd like to think so.

"Kamehameha!" He shouted, as a beam erupted from his hand towards the ocean. The blue beam parted the waters and extended over the horizon.
"Very good. Again." Genkai repeated. This had been the thirtieth time she had said that. Hero grunted firing off another blast of the total destruction wave. Widening the ocean's water with each attack. "Good good." She said preparing her own stance. "Now then we'll be doing a beam struggle."
"Beam struggle?" Hero asked turning to her.
"This is when two fighter's energy beams meet. They must continuously struggle and put more ki into the blast lest they be blown away." She explained and with that began to charge.
"Kame.." She began.
"Hame.." He said as both their hands lit up in a blue light.
"HA!" With that both their attacks flew at each other. The twin blue lights pulsed merging as they fought for supremecy. Genkai made an early lead, pushing the beam back into Hero's face. However Hero managed to force the beam back. His own voice shouting, pushing more energy, the beam slowly moved around Genkai but the old hermit had power to spare.
"HA!" With that Hero was overcame with a blue light that merged over his beam. For moments a light shined around both of them, causing the need to close their eyes. Genkai made her way over to knocked over Hero. "Get up, that would barely knock over a penguin." She said with a grunt.
"Penguin where?" Hero asked suddenly pushing himself up with a grin.
"What am I going to do with you boy?" She asked with a chuckle.
"Train me some more." He said bouncing back up. "Lets go again!" Then Genkai formed right infront of his face. "Wait what're you doing?!"
"Kamehameha!" However instead of a blue beam, confetti and streamers hit him in the face. "Hahahhahaha!" Laughed Genkai. "You should look at the expression on your face. Oho.. I haven't laughed that hard in years." She said as Hero shook his head.
"I suppose that was funny." He murmured in an embarrassed tone.
"I admit that was rather mean but you must be prepared for anything young Hero. After all once you've been taken off guard then your enemy can easily take you out." She said floating back. "C'mon let us go again."
With that Hero performed the beam struggle again. And again. And again. Until his eyes could barely see the bright blue light but something that always belonged on the island. Hero grinned as he bounced around. Then he used the after image to appear infront of her. "Kamehameha!" He said but like she had done, streamers and confetti shot out all over the turtle hermit. This caused both of them to burst into laughter.
"Alright then the second Kamehameha style will require a different usage of limbs." She said. "The Feet Kamehameha."
"Feet?" Hero tried to form the basic technique with his feet but all he managed to do was fall over.
"This is a feet-fired version of the Kamehameha used by the turtle school. the user shouts, "Ka... me... ha... me... and backflips multiple times before facing the opponent. Then, he shouts, "...ha!" and fires a Kamehameha from the feet, launching himself at the opponent and leaving him free to attack with his hands." Genkai said as she did just that, floating over the ocean she performed the kamehameha wave, flipping over and instead of her hands, her feet fired off the blast instead. The blast rocketed her up into the air, far faster than his normal flight. This technique would be good for fighting two people at once. Or atleast one person would be overcome by this technique.
"Right!" With that he began to perform the kamehameha wave. Genkai meanwhile landed next to him.
"No! Wait don't!" But it was too late, as Hero flipped to far and the blast propelled him across the water. "Gaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah!" He found himself floating over the waters with a fish spewing water at him. "Mph." Floating back up he tried again. "Kamehame.." He flipped this time at a perfect 180 degree. This time he fired off, but even with his hands free, he noticed he was rapidly propelling into the sky. One thought came to mind. "How do I stop?" The wave peetered out but he was still flying upward. "Ha!" He tried to fly back up his upward ascent was to fast for his basic flight to stop.
"Alright then..Kame..." He began as the air became thinner and harder to breathe. "me.." His vision shook as he blinked his eyes open. "HA!" With that he fired off another blast, so that he would push him back down. The blue beam did just that and he reoriented himself. Free falling back down to the island. Genkai merely stood there waiting as Hero managed to stop right before he crashed. "I did it!" Hero declared landing back down.
"Yes but you also wasted to much energy." She said shaking her head, her fingers pinching the upper ride of her nose as she closed her eyes.
"Yeah but it looked cool!" Hero said stretching legs. With that he prepared for another try. "Think I can get higher?" He asked with a wide eyed smile.
"I think if you went any higher, you'd hit the moon." She said shaking her head.
"Alright one more time. We'll race...the first whose kamehameha wave stops, looses!" Hero said floating over the water.
"Fine. What do you get if I win?" Genkai floating beside him.
"Uh..I'll visit you?" He asked with a mild grin.
"And if you win?"
"You have to make me some cookies." He declared with a slight grin.
"I haven't baked in ages. Alright then." She said as they performed the kamehameha style, flipping over at the same time and lifting off.
At first they remained tied but Hero took the lead. Then Genkai flew passed him, reclining back as if she was sleeping.
Miffed Hero exerted even more ki into the blast, passing her.
"Well I suppose you win. Have a fun time getting back." Genkai laughed falling back down. Hero who still had more juice in his attack was still flying up. "Crap. Crap Crap!" He said noticing he had fallen for her trick. Falling back down at a rapid pace, he had time to think.
"Can't be a lot of techniques left to learn. Maybe I should asked." Is what he would have said if the wind hadn't swept his words away. Then he saw the small island again, as well as a blue light. Immediately he took flight dodging the beam. Several ki blasts fired back down in response. They were blocked. Deciding to use his descent to his advantage he landed back down. Crashing into the sand, he immediately attacked Genkai. The two began to combat, it seemed this was one of those 'spontaneous battles'. Not that Hero minded, infact it kept him on his toes.
"Aren't you suppose to making me cookies I did win!" He said but a ki blast hit him square in the face as his response. "Ow." He said wiping eyes.
"Food later next technique now." She said.
"Oh. What are all the next techniques? Can you just tell me now?" Hero asked straightening up seeing as they weren't fighting anymore.
"Fine. Double Kamehameha, it is a two-handed double version of the Kamehameha first invented by the monk Krillen. First, Krillen puts his hands out at his left and right sides. Then, he discharges a blazing aura as he fires two Kamehameha energy waves out of each hand at the opponents, inflicting a high amount of damage."
"Double Kamehameha all the way! Yeah. It's a double kamehameha all the way. Oh my god. What does this mean?" Hero asked, tears coming to his eyes. "It's so beautiful! It's so intense!" Genkai merely slapped him in the face. "Huh? Oh. Guess the lack of air made me..a little dizzy." He said slightly embarrassed.
"Next is the scattering bullet is a technique is once more by Krillin, and probably one of his most useful techniques. It is a powerful beam charged similarly to the Final Flash."
"Whats the final flash?" Hero asked with a raised brow.
"Don't worry you'll come across it eventually anyway and when fired it is slow. It has the ability to scatter, thus being able to attack multiple enemies. Slow but powerful."
"Like a turtle!"
"Indeed..like a turtle." She said not understanding if it was a joke or not. "Next will be the Double Tsuihikidan another technique developed Krillen,the user bends down as he brings his arms to his sides and charges up. Then, he brings his hands forward and fires two reddish-orange energy waves that follow the opponent like homing missiles, inflicting a great deal of damage."
"So like a fast scattering bullet?" Hero asked wrapping his mind around the attacks. This Krillen guy sure made a lot of techniques.
"Yes. Lastly is the Photon Bo-"
"Oh! I know that one!" Hero said and he raises his right hand as he curls his fingers and charges a white energy sphere. Then, he brings his hand forward and fires the energy sphere in the form of an energy wave at the ocean. It erupted in a brilliant explosion. "My old teacher Master Shun taught it to me." He said grinning.
"Well then, less time spent on one. So that means we only need to teach you three techniques, rather than four." She said walking inside. "But right now I have cookies to make." With that Hero went inside sitting down on the couch that seemed to be his home. Flicking on the TV, he noticed he hadn't watch television for awhile now. Flipping through channels, he stopped at some cartoon. Half watching and half trying not to fall back asleep. Hero awoke to a start as a large plate of cookies and a glass of milk were set in front of him.
"Eat up." She held a whisk in her hand and look more dangerous than if she had held his sword up to his face. Immediately Hero began to eat, munching on the cookies with a delighted grin.
"These are really good." He drained the milk sitting back.
"Well thats good. I'm surprised I had enough to make them. I suppose the rat droppings work well for chips huh?"
Hero gulped. "Rat droppings?" His stomach churned.
"And I mean I couldn't find any flour so I used coral. And no sugar, but fish guts works right?"
Hero didn't answer. He was already running to the bathroom, ready to vomit out the poison he had been fed.
When he got back down, he saw the kitchen. Flour, chocolate chips, and sugar. And a laughing Genkai in the other. "Oh I never get to old in fooling youngsters." She said with a chuckle. Gesturing outside he grumbled something under his breathe and they made there way outside. Whilst outside she began to demonstrate the double kamehameha.
"Right. So I just spread my hands out to both sides.." He said making a T shape. "And then simply release the technique?" He asks. To which he was given a nod towards. "Right..this will be..easy." "HA!" He shouted releasing twin thin beams in opposite directions. The beams flickered out just as quickly as they came into being however. "I guess eating rat dropping cookies made me a lot weaker than I thought." He said his eyes on her with a grimace. This time he did it again but the beams were stronger in terms of power. "Ha..see?"
"Indeed. I suppose then you are ready for the next technique?" She asked with a mild amusement in her tone.
"I suppose..what was it again?" Hero asked scratching his head.
With a sign Genkai went onto explain it. "Scattering Bullet, It is a powerful beam charged, and when fired it is slow. It has the ability to scatter, thus being able to attack multiple enemies." She said in a bored monotone voice.
"Right. Okay so it's charged slow?" He asked raising his hands outward. The energy began to crackle as he slowly charged it. "Ha.." He murmered in a tone as if he was passing a kidney stone.
"No need to sound like your in pain." Genkai said.
"Right..uh so what do I do when I collect the energy?"
"Sheesh why are you so slow right now?"
"I want to take my time!" He said in a grunt. "That way I can learn all this stuff much easier." And he didn't add so that he could stay here for a little bit longer.
"Well stop it. You'll never reach your goals by being so airheaded." She responded and with that Hero released the attack.
"HA!" It flew slowly over the waters. And with his command, Hero let the attack seperate into several ki blasts. "Very good. You managed to get it right on the first try. Do it again."
"What? But that was perfect!"
"Exactly you may have gotten in perfect in the first time, but what about the third or the fifteenth? Do it again."
With a grumble under his breathe and a another charged he proceeded to do the scattering technique once more. The attack caused the waves to fly over on head. However that wasn't to satisfactory, he did it again. And again. And Again. Until day turned into night. Until the stance was driven into his brain. Until he was weak at the knees and exhausted, physically and mentally.
"Alright. Enough. You got it down." She said heading once more back inside. It had been over a week and while Hero had learned much more than he did over the course of his stay at West Academy, he felt that at the same time he felt rushed. With a few moments he headed into the house and crashed on the couch again. This thing was getting comfortable as hell for him. Next to him was another plate of cookies, labeled 'Good to Eat.' reaching for them he began to eat and watched Tv for a moment. Even with the intense training, this was kinda nice. Maybe the other trainers wouldn't be as nice but right now he didn't mind.
That night he dreamed of the tournament.
He was held in Bad!Hero's grip. But a swift punch to the evil personality knocked him out of the hold he had on Hero. They charged again but Good!Hero constantly repeated 'I am a good guy. I am a good guy!' over and over again. He wasn't going to become this twisted version of himself. He would surpass it.
"Don't you get it? I am you!" He bellowed, his red ki flaring around him. Then something clicked.
"Your right. You are me." With that he dropped down and sat. Closing his eyes he hummed. "You are me and therefore I must accept you."
"What? No! I will destroy you!" EvilHero charged but became intagible, passing through Good!Hero. Then was sucked right back in. At first the crowd was silent. Then it cheered for him.
"We have our winner and new Budokai Champion! Hero Shen!"
"Hero...wake up."

"My..power..is maximum.." Hero snorted waking up.
"I said wake up. Hero." Genkai said throwing another bucket of water. "Today will be your last lesson. After that you shall go off and train with others." She said in a cold tone.
"Wait? Why is today my last day?" Hero asked running out infront of her.
"Because after this I have nothing to teach you." She simply stated. "Now then. Do the Double Tsuihikidan. And to target something." She threw a spirit ball into the air.
Hero bent down as he brings his arms to his sides and charges up. Then, he brings his hands forward and fires two reddish-orange energy waves that follow the spirit ball like homing missiles. They collided and erupted on contact. "Let me guess. Again."
"No. Last lesson. Survive."
"Wait what?" Then she attacked. But not like before. She attacked without holding anything back. A simple punch to the face and a knee to the stomach. Hero managed to reorient himself and she charged again. Swerving out of the way of the heavier hits he unconsciously attacked back. Strike to the stomach and then Hero charged a ki blast, sending her into the air.
"HA!" He powered up cupping his hands back. "KAMEHAMEHA!" He released the blue beam, which Genkai easily twirled to the side of, sending a spirit ball at him.
In response Hero created two destructo disks, which flew, slicing the orb in half but Genkai easily avoided the attack, charging at him. The two resumed their physical fight, punches and kicks. Rapid hits, each of them striking, blocking or dodging in continuation. Then Genkai formed her own Kamehameha.
He recognized it as the one from before. The true technique. "HA!" He shot several ki blasts in succession but her kamehameha easily bypassed them. "Wolf Fang Blowing Wind!" He shouted striking the destruction wave. He rapidly hit the attack, first simply with his fists and then his legs. A red light encompassed him as he took a hard punch, striking in the center of the blast. A howling wolf charged through the beam, dispersing it and hitting her square on.
She landed on the ground, both of them breathing heavily. Then they struck again, both of them using the after image technique, they were blurs all around the island. Finally they clashed over the kame house. "In a manner of only a week you've managed to fight evenly with me." Commented Genkai.
"Maybe your just getting old." He grunted, but the opposite was happening, her appearance was turning younger and the cells in her body reverted to when she was the strongest. "HA!" A field of energy wrapped around him, pushing her back. "Spirit Punch!" He formed the ball in his hand, and punched it with his right fist. The orb flew at Genkai, hitting her hard in the chest and sending her flying back. However she pushed off of it and flew at Hero, striking him much harder than before. Landing on the ground below, the after images began to fade, and Genkai moved into one, striking him from the side. Flipping over, Hero grasped the Z-sword. Bouncing her attacks off of the heavy blade's sheath, he tossed it at her. She immediatly caught it but dropped down, unprepared for the weight like he had been. Then he, raises his right hand as he curls his fingers and charges a white energy sphere. Then, he brings his hand forward and fires the energy sphere in the form of an energy wave at Genkai. The resultant explosion caused both of them to fly back and land in the sand.
"You are perhaps my fastest learning pupil." They had remained in silence for the longest time. Genkai being the one to break it. "You should be proud to know that. And I believe you are going to go on to do great things."
"Yeah?" Hero asked shifting up to look at her. "Look. I'll visit you..if you want me too."
"Oh Hero, you have a whole world to learn from. I'm merely a stepping stone in this world." She said shaking her head. "But I'd like it if you did come and see me sometime." A smile across her face, warmed the young warrior's heart. Getting up she moved to Hero. "You are hereby welcomed to the title as Student Master of the Turtle Arts." She crossed her arms in a stern look. "Remember you are not a master until the day they nail the last nail down in your coffin." A chilling prospect but none the less one that was true.
"Thank you."
"Don't thank me. Go out and learn what you can from this world. Remember you cannot allow yourself to give up, that is when you fail." With that she left him there. Hero got up, and flew off the small island. Flying over the water he stopped for a moment, hovering over the water. Then like before a sea beast roared from the waters to eat him.
"HA!" He powered up, the beast seeing his new strength immediately pulled itself back into the ocean. He was Hero Shen. He was now master of the turtle arts. No he was merely student master. He would go off and learn the other techniques. But in his heart, he was still a turtle. Turtle Power!
Back at the Kame house, Genkai somberly stared at the television. Suddenly the channel changed to someone else. Wearing strange glasses and shirtless, the guy gave a thumbs up to her. Genkai chuckled at the screen. "So the boy has your blessing hm? Well then. I suppose he's much more interesting than I gave him credit for." With that she turned off the television. Heading upstairs, she stopped at a small picture. It was of her son. And oddly enough the boy indeed looked much like Hero. Give that what you will but Genkai turned staring at the outside window. "He did say he was adopted. No. It couldn't be." She shook her head and went to bed. The past week had been a doozy. (5779)

Duos His evil grin crept even further to the side of his face, revealing a little bit of his make shift teeth. As the boy started to move around Duos, his enternal combat systems instantly went into motion; they anticipated the easiest time to iniciate an assault where as his opponent would be caught most off guard. As the human boy would come a to hault in front of Duos, his offensive move would begin. With use of the after image technique, Duos left a temporary image of himself, standing in front of the boy just as he would finish his sentence, while simultaneously teleporting behind him in the motion of delivering a powerful blunt chop to the humans upper shoulders from a higher angle, with slight levitation. If the blow landed, it would only knock the boy down for a moment.
