The path straight ahead leads to Renia. A small bustling queendom surrounded on three sides by an ancient forest and a volatile sea. After passing the city gates a parade of colors, sounds, and smells bombard the senses, not always pleasant, but forever announcing the life bursting within the walls. While Renia has not always been a peaceful queendom, it has fought hard to maintain the neutrality it now knows.
The path to the left leads to Forture Forest, or so it is called by the locals. There are rumors that witches, shades, and other unspeakable things dwell within, but of course, no one knows for sure. Their rumors are spurred by the wall which separates the city and forest since many residents find it interesting that the wall was not built around the forest as to allow them to use its resources. Occasionally there are "sightings" of people going in and out of the forest, abnormal 'humans' wandering into the marketplace, or dim lights seen in the forest. The truth is - no one knows whats in the forest or why the wall was built because everyone is too afraid to find out.
The path to the right leads to a shadowy kingdom everyone calls the Kingdom to the East. Not much is known of the kingdom, but recently it has been reported that it is building a larger army and conquering other cities similar to Renia. With every report, it seems that it is also inching closer to the peaceful city.
With this quickly approaching threat, what will Renia do, and will the people of the forest aid them?
