Welcome to Powerplay. An RP Guild for experienced players and creative writing fans. In this guild A special ruleset is used for some RP threads, called Assumed Interaction. Guidelines for Assumed Interaction are found in the Roleplay Workshop. [ATTENTION This is not a god-modding guild. Guidelines for Assumed Interaction are strictly enforced.]
This guild is designed for many different types of RP, but is also a place members can post and share all sorts of literary works; short prose, poetry, short-stories, even full-length original novels. Art is also welcome; drawings, paintings, photography. Powerplay is meant to be a creative hotzone, where users can bounce ideas off one another and share in a creative think-tank.
In this guild, literacy is required. This is a haven for writers and story-tellers. There are no age limits, but much [if not all] of the material covered in this guild will push the PG-13 restrictions as much as legally possible. Expect plenty of graphic gore, and suggestive, not descriptive sexual themes and context. Under no means do we break Gaia ToS, but will play at the strings of your imagination nonetheless.
The criteria for literacy is as follows:
1. Post length
(One-liners are forbidden. If you're are RPing properly there will never be a need to post a lone sentence. Each post must be at least one paragraph. [Four+ sentences, including dialog.])
2. Grammer and Syntax
(Always use third-person in the writing. You act as the narrator of the story. Also, grammer and spelling errors are frowned upon. It takes only a few minutes to proof-read your post and fix errors. DO IT. If you have troubles with spelling, there are dozens of free spell check programs on-line. Just Google it.)
3. Formatting
(A splash of color and/or a very small picture [100X100 - 200X200, no larger in posts] enchance the visual impact of the writing making it more approachable than a bland block of text. [Color/Pics aren't required but are a plus.])

Anyone may join the guild but all Users wishing to join must submit a sample RP via a PM to the Guild Captain to exhibit their writing style and skill level. Your sample RP does not determine whether you are accepted to join the guild. (Anyone may join.) The submission, will give the captain a scope of the players and allow him to create new threads and suggest threads that are relevant to you and your style. Sample RPs may consist of old submissions from user's past Guilds and RPs. It doesn't have to be long. (Try to pick your best work) Failure to submit a Sample RP will result in a denied submission.
[NOTE: If you are not a literate role-player and your sample reflects that, you may still join; however, the captain will encourage you often to improve on yourself. It may seem like an after-school tutoring special, but trust me. You'll enjoy Role-playing more as you improve your writing skill. All it takes is a little practice.]
Guild and Thread Rules

"Assumed Interaction" is allowed where specified.]
2.Follow Assumed Interaction guidelines where necessary .

3.Follow Gaia ToS.
[Any sexually explicit conduct or other Gaia ToS violations must stay in PM's.
Membership will be revoked if a User fails to uphold Gaia ToS in guild threads.]
4.Place out-of-character comments in double-parenthesis. ((OOC"text" ))
[OOC posts are reserved for public member updates only unless made in the Chat forum or an RPs OOC thread. (announcing leave of absence, signing off, etc.)
Other forms of information will be considered spam and should be taken to PM.
Spam OOC comments in threads will be deleted from posts.]
5.No flaming or spamming.
[Keep issues civil. PM the thread owner/creator with concerns about other members, storylines, or posts.]
