For those wanting to join the Guild
Please donate to our mascot! With the creation of our new mascot HTDM Guild, we have decided to get rid of the entry fee of 100 Gold. However an entry fee is still very much needed, but in the form of a donation to the guild mascot. We are hoping to be able to host guild-run contests and other events with these donations, so anything you can give will be greatly appreciated. We understand if you don't have anything to spare or want to keep your hard-earned gold, but even the smallest donation of gold or items would really help us make the guild more interactive and fulfilling for everybody. *A donation to the guild does not guarantee membership.
Convince us that we want you in our guild. Give us a reason to accept you other than, "I want lern hwo draw anime and i lik anime alot!!1!111!!" It's OK to tell us you like anime and drawing, but we expect to see more than just that. We want to know that you will be a mature and productive member. Tell us a little of your experience so far with art and drawing, and maybe even give us links to an example or two of your work (if you don't have it, that's ok too). The work must be your own. Artwork untruthfully posted as yours will result in a declined request, and you will be permanently banned from the guild.
Keep in mind that this is an art guild. While we appreciate your enthusiasm for certain animes/mangas, this is first and foremost an art guild. We want to hear about your interest in art and drawing, not about which animes you love to watch. If you were hoping for a place where you could discuss your favorite animes/mangas, then this is not the place for you. Try one of our affiliates at the bottom of this page.
Use complete sentences and good grammar. We'll understand if English isn't your first language (please mention if it is not), but please do not use slang or l33t speak. It annoys us and will result in an immediately denied request.
Don't use forum code in your applications. It doesn't work and just shows up as a lot of annoying text that we have to sift through.
Have a way to show us your work! Although this is not a requirement, please understand that we can't help you learn as efficiently if we can't see your current level of skill So try to have access to either a scanner or a digital camera if possible.
If you have multiple accounts and want them all to be members, they must all apply in the same manner. If you want, you can copy and paste your request with a note that one account is your mule or whatever, but they can't just say, "hey this is so-n-so's mule. accept me!" It doesn't work that way.
