However it all came to a stop when an agreement was made. It was decided that six children from each royal family would be married. Each prince and princess married their other and retreated to continue their lives now with one another and continue their plots.
However as time went on peace did not fully settle across the land. However it all started with internal conflict within each kingdom. It first started with the second son of the Valkyria kingdom and his wife who was the eldest daughter of the Xeania kingdom. Each of them had goals to take over their respected kingdoms. After much argument and discussion they came to an agreement, first they would take over Valkyria then move onto Xeania. The second son had many allies and supporters within the Valkyria army. It was not long before he gathered great numbers to take down his elder brother. From then on a great civil war wagged for seven years within Valkyria.
Within those seven years, the eldest prince of Valkyria sent his lovely wife and their new born child away. His wife, who was the youngest child of the Xeania kingdom, ran from the kingdom of light in the dead of night. She rushed back to her kingdom on horse back and quickly informed her eldest brother of what their sister and her husband have done. The eldest Xeaniaian prince knew that Xeania would be the next kingdom the couple would set their sights on so he and his wife would prepare their troops and themselves for battle. The Queen of Xeania, who is also the eldest princess of Zetharaal, sent word to her eldest brother. She requested his aid in the up and coming battle to which he gladly sent troops.
Then the The eldest prince of Valkyria fell came. His wife was now deep underground with their child along with the rest of his supporters. The second son of Valkyria ruled over the kingdom of light. He decreed he would keep his promise to his bride and they were to march upon the land of fire and take the crown by force. Within a week the troops set out to wag war with Xeania.
However when they arrived the soldiers from the land of light were surprised by how well prepared the kingdom of Xeania was against them. The Kingdom of Xeania and their Allies from the Kingdom of Zetharaal banned together and pushed the troops of the light back until a retreat was called. This caused the Queen of Valkyria rage because she could not take control of her home kingdom. She fought with her husband and pushed him away before she went to a fort on the edge of Valkyria to start planning their next attack.
Meanwhile, while the war between Valkyria, Xeania and Zetharaal raged there was an internal conflict within Shadal. The eldest prince who was now the crowned king was struggling to keep his status. With his parents untimely death and his people non-accepting of his new bride things were strained. His wife, who was the eldest daughter of Valkyria, tried to keep his spirits up but the king was breaking. The king's sister, the eldest daughter of Shadal, had her sights on the throne. The princess was very cut throat and dark which was more fitting to the land then a man who had agreed to marry the light.
Although the princess was married to the king of Azaris, the king of Azaris loved another. This left the princess to do as she wished. So she spent much time within her own kingdom instead of her husband's. However, unknown to either sibling, the youngest princess of Shadal and her husband, whom was the youngest prince of Azaris, had their own plans. They too wished to to rule over both kingdoms thinking that it would all be such a fun game.
However the middle sister of Shadal heard about what was going on during her visit back to the kingdom with her first born child. When she returned to the kingdom of Icrasta she spoke with her new family and told them her worries. Although her friendship with the eldest prince, now king, of Icrasta was strained he heard her out. He readied a small section of troops just in case.
Before long civil war broke out within Shadal from three different sides. Because of this, a small civil war within Azaris also broke out. This was because they did not approve of their new queen's actions and many of them began to support the youngest. Because both kingdoms were strained internally they looked to put the blame on an external kingdom. This caused the two kingdoms to lash out at one another causing a larger war between them.
The wars that shook the world after a small period of peace lasted for a hundred years. The kingdom of Azaris had been taken over by Shadal. Whatever Azarisian's that were left went into hiding and live in small villages on the boarders of the countries. The kingdom Icrasta cut off their ties with the kingdoms that bordered them and became isolated from the rest of the world. Valkyria and Xeania came to an agreement but are still at odds with one another. Zetharaal had lost much of it's land in the war and now was only a small present the size of what it once was. Within Valkyria, anyone who didn't support the current royal family was driven underground. Now there is a whole network of underground villages that connect to the other kingdoms for these people.

Now it's modern day. With technology and crop developments each kingdom is finding it harder and harder to survive on their own. So a representative of each kingdom was called to the neutral castle once more. However this castle now was named with a town surrounding it. The name of the castle was Terram Sanctam and the village around it went by that name as well. When the representatives met they decided to call in special people that were around when the wars stopped many years ago. They knew each land had a set of guards, and some of those guards did not suffer from aging. So those special guards were summoned to the castle for their input on what to do.
It was then decided that another round of marriages would come into play. This would come with trade agreements as well as peace treaties. They also decided that a military that was neutral would be banned together to put out any form of tension between kingdoms to avoid as much conflict as possible. However, one guard spoke up and told them that all the kingdoms should be given this treatment. They would all get the same amount of land and whatever kingdom that perished would be given a chance at rebuilding. The guard themselves offered to find the current living royals from those kingdoms.
After many debates and politics it was decided that the terms were fine. Land would be split and the kingdoms would all have a fair share. The ageless guard was sent out to find the missing royals. So four royals from each kingdom were given their forced invitations to the Terram Sanctam castle. They will meet their betroths their and learn about the trading agreements that are to be made.
