A year has passed since the defeat of Asura, the Kishin. Since then, the DWMA gang has been training as hard as ever in order to keep the peace in this world. Kishin Eggs and Witches still fought for control, the Meisters and Weapons having the upper hand. All seemed to be under control and incidences have plummeted greatly thanks to these brave heroes.
However, not everything was as it seemed. The Grand Witch Mabaa has been developing a new spell over the past year to help turn the tables to their favor. It is a new spacial magic simply known as Time Fragment. It allowed her to open a portal to the past, no matter what time it was. It's original use was to alter time itself by messing with past events. However, this spell took a lot of magic and didn't last very long. After a few modifications, she then tried to simply suck out characters from the past, but those who existed currently weren't allowed to travel through time, the past copy simply vanishing moments after being summoned.
Regardless of previous failures, Mabaa came up with a plan. She would instead steal the deceased Kishin Eggs, Witches and other evil beings from the past to help her in the present. Thus far, it has been a complete success. Enemies that were slain are once again terrorizing the world as we know it and have started to outnumber our heroes no thanks to the Grand Witch's constant summonings. And due to the fact that she is in her untouchable dimension of witches, there is no stop to this madness.
It is now up to the Meisters and Death himself to control this situation. Both old and new members of the DWMA have stepped forward to help while the past started to come flowing back into their lives. Can the world be saved from this new Hell on Earth? Or will the DWMA be overwhelmed and fall before the might of darkness?
