Corruption, in philosophical, theological, or moral discussions, corruption is the abuse of bestowed power or position to acquire a personal benefit.
It has been 100 years since the defeat of Great Holy Knight Hendrickson, and the Demon Clan he plotted to revive. In those years peace had reigned, but for only a short time. With new Kings and queens in power, corruption began to seep into the ranks, causing for the just & righteous to fall prey to the poisonous descent into chaos. Wars were waged between the four kingdoms, each one trying to dominate the other. In the end, the Holy Knights had no choice but to remove the current leaders from power, placing someone they could trust & silently manipulate in on the seat of power.
In light of this chaos in the Imperial Kingdoms, the people decided to take matters into their own hands. Tired of the strife & chaos, the Revolutionary Army was formed, leading them was a new set of the 7 Deadly Sins. Their goal, total reform of the Kingdoms for the benefit of the people. The people of the four Kingdoms, those who wish for change, rally behind the sins in an effort to change the broken cycle.
Though both forces strive to restore order in the manner they see fit, corruption still seeps within both sides. From the shadows rises the Ardat Yaskis. A shadowy organization of murderers, assassins, & thieves of all trades. They feel that the people should govern themselves and shouldn't be tied down by someones authority. What they believe most of all is that corruption is an unforgivable sin that must be eradicated. No one is safe from the Ardat Yakshi as they target all those who dare try and rise to power through corrupt means.
In spite of all of this however, evil waits for know one. A storm of chaos is coming. Will it be vanquished by the righteous, or shall it devour all in its gluttonous path?
The Story so far........
Liones: Young women of the kingdom have started to go missing. Many believe it to be the work of cultist but no hard evidence has been found to prove it. A 8pm curfew has been implemented to ensure the safety of the people.
Nosdigm: Reports of a strange beast has been seen in the Forest of Twilight Sorrow. Those who have ventured into the forest have yet to return and are believed to be dead. Caution has been issued for those brave enough to venturein there.
Ovnia: The Annual "Tournament of Champions" is soon to arrive and all warriors are welcome to participate. There have been rumors of terrorist plotting to disrupt the tournament but to ensure that it doesnt happen the Holy Knight Executioner of Nosdigm & Holy Knight Superior of Ovnia have taken over security as well are judges for the tournament.
Camelot: Holy relics have begun to disappear from churches around the kingdom, along with the deaths of the priests guarding them. Its said a master thief is behind the thefts and must be captured dead or alive. The Grand Church is requesting that the relics be returned unharmed if possible.
