In the beginning...

---The Gods of Old created Pandora to live in a beautiful land known as Eden. The first day was perfect and for many more days to follow. Pandora went off one day in the Garden and found a swan sitting in the middle of a lake which then transformed into a handsome, young man. She grew attached to this man without realizing that the man was a God. She held an odd relationship with him. She would go to the lake once every other day after taking some time off of naming all of the animals and things in the Garden. A jealous Goddess soon found out of the affair that the God was having and manufactured a box that would destroy the perfect infidelity and the land of Eden itself. That is if it were to be opened. Pandora found this box on her way to the lake one day and the Goddess, disguised as a serpent, told her to open it up. "Within that box..." she said, "is forbidden fruit. One bite and he won't be able to stay away from you." The cunning Goddess knew too well how to pull on the heart-string of Pandora and the Garden of Eden was soon swallowed whole by that box and Pandora would be forever sealed in it, along with the Garden.
---The Gods soon realized that they needed something. A perfect life would not do it for them. They needed entertainment and people to worship them. This started the spark of creation and a new world began to take place. They left behind the box that sealed Pandora since the start of creation to see if anybody would be able to find it. New lands and different species started. The Gods and Goddesses of Old split up and decided to reign over separate territories in the lands they created. As time went on, groups of people started to turn their backs on the Gods of Old and their influence started to become as lost as Pandora's Box and the Garden of Eden. They left their presence in trinkets and talismans around the world in hopes that people would be able to bring them back to full power someday. Certain Gods became greedy and felt the need to gain higher power than others. They started to play on the wants and needs of mankind in order to gain power that they had lost. Some wish to overthrow the other Gods and others wish to restore the lands back to the days of Old. But even Pandora's Box is lost to them.
