The Metalbending Police Force is the elite law enforcement team of Republic City, formerly led by Toph Beifong's daughter, Chief Lin Beifong, and Chief Saikhan. By using metalbending to manipulate the metal cables within the cylindrical spool devices on their back, the metalbenders are able to restrain criminals and navigate the city quickly and efficiently. They also carry equipment such as truncheons and riot shields. The Metalbending Police Force monitors events in the city through use of several airships, and this mobility allows them to easily apprehend criminals and deploy forces for pursuit.

Greetings Earthbending Citizens of Republic City!
My name is Ozzy Oddwick and I am a member of Chief Lin Beifong's Elite Unit of Metalbending Police Force.
I have been given orders to formulate a new unit of elite metalbenders to be used for an upcoming raid against Equalists.
If you wish to be a member of this new elite unit of metalbending police force, you must have the following requirements:

• Must have combat training.

3rd:
For the metal cables, you can use the whip from The Nightmare.
But I do not require it, in case you can't afford it.
There is a cheaper one, strings from an item called Puppet Master.
