For thousands upon thousands of years the three council races The Monarch's Hand, the Shardan, and the Nekomian Empire have ruled the galaxy peacefully, fairly, and without incident. That is until the Dark advent returned and wrecked havoc on the outer worlds. The council wore thin quickly fighting the dark advent, as did the council races. In desperation the council called upon the most ancient and dark evil enemies they ever fought in hopes of controlling their ignorant and violent tendencies, they came for Humanity. With humanity at their side they fought the Dark advent to a stand still and instantly the second galaxy wide human war began as Humanity's greed and hate came forth again. The proceeding war thinned the ranks of every race in the galaxy. Humanity did not dare leave their corner in fear of the races of the milky way returning to finish them off. All the council races quickly withdrew to their systems, their spheres of influence shriveled down to just their own worlds. The council still exists but their forces are strained and they struggled to gain control of the galaxy once more. The Dark Advent stays in darkspace sending the occasional party into the outer worlds to gather for the hive.
