-Year Zero

    Year Zero, the day the World had reset. This all happen due to a large explosion at the Twelfth Division. It created a hole known as "The Calamity Hole". This hole would devour and release the objects it were devouring back into the Seireitei. The destruction was catastrophic and captains, ranking officers and everyone in ranking positions from the divisions did what they could to stop it, but all hope was beginning to seem lost. Finally the RND had created a device that would make the hole implode on itself, which had worked. Looking around, the destruction was too sad to bare. Captain Commander Toei Kyu-en Shingekuni Yamamoto, who was a great great great descendant of Yamamoto Genryusai, had ordered to see what was all affected. The chaos reached beyond the rukon district and even into the world of the living. Not knowing that there was something else that was created, the Seireitei began to try and fix the balance of life. Over the course of time, they began to realize that the Dangai had an altered reishi which they concluded it to be what will be known as Anti-Reishi or Negative Reishi. Was this created from the Calamity Hole, the Research and Development team wondered. On top of that, they began to see this had also spread afar into the world of the living. Though wondering what this meant or how was it affecting things was another thought

    The Seireitei went on a high alert, sending multiple squadrons to the world of the living to make sure nothing had change, which at first some wouldn’t noticed until actually sensing deeper. Suddenly they felt sad and angering spiritual pressure, turning around revealing itself was what seem to be a soul reaper standing before the shinigami. He was never seen before, but his spiritual pressure seem to be on par with that of a captain level. They battled against the being, but wasn’t able to defeat it, until a captain had slain it. The being had fallen, but no one could recognize whom the shinigami was. RND had ran test and came to the conclusion, it was a Shinigami created in the Calamity Hole. This had them to believe who and what else was affected. They began to run more test to try and find out who was this being originally, but again nothing. What surprised everyone most is, how it was able to fight, and the time period it took to learn how to wield its weapon.

    The Great Calamity War, over time peace had settled and it had been about two hundred years since the event of Year Zero. Peace had came back, that was until a large beam which exploded came from the sky creating a hole in the Seireitei all the way to the World of the living. It was hundreds, or maybe thousands of these Anti-Reapers, which is what they named them after only finding one, no one wasn’t prepared for more. The Captain of Squad Twelve hypothesized that those were the soul reapers absorbed by the Calamity Hole, and released a new being. He figured that they have had to gather and without being noticed by the seireitei, but wasn’t sure how they were able to do it. Not to mention how fast they gained knowledge. The leader, whom pointed his finger at the ground at the court guard 13 squads smiled, and with a instant he was before them along with his group. He spoke with high intellect on how they inter-dimensionaly traveled into the Dangai, and created their own world. They gained knowledge from watching outside in on how the shinigami operated and how they would use Reishi to their advantage. This would help them learn as well, seeing that their creation and power came from the negative Reishi. His final words were”It doesn’t matter now, because the Calamity had Returned”, which his group had rage war again the soul society. Why did they rage war against the soul society? Because all they knew was anger and only to get stronger. They knew that if they didn’t act first, the seireitei eventually would out about find them and eliminate them. So within the 200 years they had began to get stronger, creating and building their zanpakuto power.

    The war was great and more damage had come, many lives were lost, but war was something the thirteen court guard squad was always prepared for. As the war waged on, the Anti-Reaper had noticed that the war was in their favor. This was Until Toei had finally unleashed his bankai one last time. It was the power of the blue phoenix. The bird had began to set flame to his enemies, which this flame was said to be the strongest fire to ever exist in history. However as it seem they had lost, the head Anti-Reaper had created a miniature Calamity Hole with his Zanpakuto, absorbing the phoenix and redirecting it toward the Toei. He stopped it, but due this distraction he was stabbed in the chest by the leader. The Anti-Reapers had fallen back afterwards, and the hole in the sky vanished. Toeis defeat had greatly affected the Soul Society, but they knew they’d have to face these horrible beings again.

    Present Day It has been three hundred years since that day, and things have changed. The Rankings in the seireitei have changed, and Year Zero not many speak of. However those who live it always tell other, always become stronger and prepare for anything. Chaos is never to far from peace, and they know that this is something must keep in mind. Over the years RND realized what was causing this Anti-Reishi to become more stronger. Hollows! When they consume a soul the reitsu left behind is absorbed into the Negative Reishi which makes it grow. The Elimination of hollows has become a higher priority until they can stop the negative reishi. This is where you come in, are you with the seireitei or against it?
