The Idea
Okay, so I'm not sure if this is the correct forum or not (was contemplating on putting this in the site feedback forum) but here's my question:

Do you think it would be cool to have zombies/undead monsters in zOMG?

This thought randomly popped into my head halfway through a speed run down in SS. Instead of attacking them with rings like Hack, Slash, Solar Rays and all that jazz (which would do minimal damage), we would attack them with the healing rings. (O.O)

Rings

Defibrillate: deals an instant KO for one enemy, but has slow recharge and must be used at point blank.

Diagnose: acts like an AoE ring such as Fire Rain; short range. [should this also heal nearby allies?!]

Bandage: deals a slow but steady damage to one enemy; long range.

Wish: deals a relatively large amount of damage when rr1 and has AoE with higher rage ranks; medium range. [should this also heal nearby allies when higher rage ranks are used?!]

Meat: lowers the max health of one enemy; higher damage with higher rage ranks

Sweetheart: slightly lowers health of one enemy

I'd think that these new enemies could be used for the Halloween event for next year, but it would be pretty sweet if they were permanent monsters(probably not though). If they were to be permanent, I guess they would go in Deadman's Pass or maybe a new area (GASP). If they were to be in Deadman's Pass, perhaps the entrance to their territory would be beyond the gate on the hill or via a tombstone in the graveyard (?)

It has also been suggested that the zombies should be in the new Durem area (from Red Kutai)

Of course, Gaia (or...someone) would have to come up with a way to tie the zombie appearances into Gaia's storyline. (refer to this post by Kitsune Michiyo for possible choices)

So what are your thoughts on this idea?

Other Ideas/Furthermores:

If-- an expansion was to occur, those zombies could be there not only as a new feature in zOMG! but be there permanently and not serve as a (mini-)event.
If there's no expansion, those zombies would best serve as a mini-event.

Krovahn

maybe when/if they implement the graveyard outside of durem, near halloween town. they could be animated corpses, which would tie in quite well.

What if the zombies came from outta nowhere and attacked you, but only at night?

no. it would take far too much recoding, and we have members that are zombies and grombies and glompies... so that makes no sense to have them attacking others like them. Plus, one of the updates in the works is for Dead Man's Pass, and includes vampires... so zombies would add more undead, really unneeded.

My response: bah, like all things, there's a lot of controversy about...every aspect of this subject ._.
and there's more that I should add to this post...but I'll do it later. >.>
