I miss that emo
I remember I was like 14-15 when I started playing and had no idea what was happening xD I got lost quite a bit and had trouble killing those Peelungers rofl

Definitely miss this and the required waterworks. Great idea to not let people off the boat train til they know the basics, like raging. I kinda expect when people in PS don't know how to rage their buffs (sad but true), in SS it's annoying, but in DMS, too? The whole point is to prep you for the game and crewing. When newbies don't know how to play after the introduction area clearly you need to rethink your intro area. Or revert. Trainpls.

I actually got stuck in the train station. I couldn't figure out that I was supposed to choose a response in the dialogs. I thought I was just supposed to read the box and click OK.

Eventually my son had sympathy and got me through it.

And then he got me through the sewers, explaining that I needed to kill 25 each of gramsters and pelungers to get the kill badges (because back then you couldn't go back into the sewers to kill more).

I am glad that they eventually let us back into the sewers. I don't think I got my kill badges the first time around. redface
