Question about overall C.L.

I've been wondering...

Say I have an overall C.L. of 2.8 at the moment, and all my active ring slots are full, would my overall C.L. go down if replace my lvl 3 fire rain for a lvl 1 wish?

No, you're personal CL only responds to the amount of orbs you have used.You just will simply have a weaker ring. When you switch.
You can even sell your high level rings and your CL will not be effected.

EDIT: Alternatively...buying a level 4 Mantis on the market will not make your CL go up.
