Question about leveling rings - Please read

I have a question...... it seems when I level my rings up they never get any stronger in power, as far as when I kill the monsters I hit them by the same damage all the time.... am I doing something wrong?

I have Solar Rays ring at CL 3 and Hack CL 2, and they are so weak...... everytime I level them up there is no difference in my attack power..... I am confused. Please help someone. Thank you smile

You should notice at least a small increase in power. But if you're going by the "killing blow" then don't because you can never do more damage than a monster has HP. So if it only has 4 hp left then that's how much your last strike will do.
