Predator Squad Leaders and Commander

Is there a suggested level that you should be before tackling these two? I'm a level 5.5 and I can barely solo a squad leader. any suggestions?
(p.s. I'm not running any healing rings, it's all damage)

Preda commander is pretty hard to solo although I did it on my first play through the game. I'd suggest cl 6 though and perhaps some superchargers and amps if you're aiming to solo it.

That may be part of your problem. I'd suggest buffing with Rock, Halo, and Div, all fully raged at R4.
