Need help in otami ruins!

[Wired little demon]

This is the quest im on:
High atop the cliffs above the ruins, you must find the idol of Chaloc, touch it, and then survive the Rain Spirit's Gauntlet.

I have no idea where the idol is and I have looked everywhere. Please help! gonk

Go to D4.
Click on the door.
Run all the way up.
Then go left.
Then run all the way down.
Touch that fish.
Then run all the way back to where you came from.
Speed is necessary and don't fight anything on the way back.

"Fight"?
If you're doing that quest, the only thing you should be fighting is the birds along the path.
Once you touch the statue, you just run to where you came from.
I mean, you can totally fight them but it isn't a necessary thing to do for the quest.

i had a ring that helped with quickness and i didnt even attempt to fight back aha
i barely made it out alive but it is possible alone.
