No. The weapon items are just accessories. They don't add stats. In the Battle System you'll be using rings to fight instead.

You can't battle yet. The system is not out, yet. Currently the way most (if not all) people battle is through RP-ing. And I agree with them. READ THE STICKIES FIRST.
