Erm, steampunk came long after the Renaissance era. Try the modern era.

Also, the Von Helsons live in... Von Helson Manor. Sounds a bit newer than a castle and definitely not medieval. It might have Medieval/Renaissance artifacts, but it would hardly be representative of the "OMG medieval!!!" era.


No, Steampunk took place in the Victorian era. (Which technically would also mean the Meiji era, in Japan, and the Wild Western era in America.)
