In Flanders fields the poppies blow
Between the crosses, row on row,
That mark our place; and in the sky
The larks, still bravely singing, fly
Scarce heard amid the guns below.

We are the Dead. Short days ago
We lived, felt dawn, saw sunset glow,
Loved and were loved, and now we lie,
In Flanders fields.

Take up our quarrel with the foe:
To you from failing hands we throw
The torch; be yours to hold it high.
If ye break faith with us who die
We shall not sleep, though poppies grow
In Flanders fields.

i usually write doom and gloom poetry well here is an example i wroet this by the way!!!

Gone

You took me by surprise,
I thought I had the world,
But it was just a façide,
Now I’m just a lonely girl.
I wake up in the morning,
I wish it was a dream,
Now as I feel the pain,
All I can do is scream.
Every day I see you,
My heart bursts with pain,
You turn around and look at me like you used to,
Then you show me your back and laugh with your friends.
I wish I could leave my body behind,
Soar away in the sky,
But its not that simple,
Cause I know I still love you,
And I don’t want to let you go.
Empty,
Just a shell,
Pain bursts inside,
I’m in hell,
Why cant things be like they used to,
I’ll never let go,
You were my best friend,
Now all you are is gone.

now u c wut i mean and i luv that poem cuase it shows my real emotion, wut i was feeling at the time. that was bout my friend who has recently deserted me and i wrote that a couple days after she confronted me and evr since then i havent really had any more freinds. i pretty much ditched evry1 i knew cuase she was my best freind i thought we always would b bestfriends. it really hurt me when she left me. so right now im sortof really looking 4 some1 2 talk 2. crying
