My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and a half now and living together for a month short of that. We've talked about marriage and children several times before, but money hasn't exactly fallen into our laps. I've recently acquired a factory job that pays pretty well and allows us a little spending money. He's not exactly into rings, but he has always wanted a watch, and I found the perfect one for him. I asked him how he would propose to me and he said he would do it while we were alone so that there was no pressure of our peers to influence my decision, so that's exactly what I want to give him.
One of my favorite songs is "Easy to love you" by Theory of a Deadman, so I've "remastered" the lyrics, I guess you could say, to fit the summer we met. I plan on recording the song on our computer with the help of his best friend playing the guitar to accompany my singing. I plan to ask him to listen to the recording and offer feedback since we're both heavy into music. My version of the song slows down at the last couple lines and ends at the line "Baby will you marry me?" at this time, I would grab the watch from wherever I hid it and give him my speech.
