I don't remember how to go about the eyes gonk

from the outside in.

Draw the iris, then the pupil. make sure part of the iris overlaps top and bottom of the eyelids, if you want a more intense expression, you have less overlap. Looking at reference is really helpful.

Honestly, there are a million ways to draw eyes. But personally I like the way those eyes look. They really suit the style of the rest of the drawing. I wouldn't even color them in. I like it blank like that. Creepy but alluring.
