Welcome to Gaia! ::

((Hm... I do believe alandra sent me a PM saying he would participate...))
((EDIT: Yay! Lets hold a reunion party! ...I think Lycanthrope moon died, however. Now we have a dead moon gonk ! ... blaugh Anyhow, lets hope others are still willing to continue this... Or we might as well just plain out start a new rp! ...Well hey, I'ven't a problem with that. Yay! My made up word in use once more!))
((Ahhh... right... *coughs* I forgot about this... Ahhhh... Schooooooolllllllll... *gnaws on her foot* Alright... let's see...))

Cody, not really hearing what she was saying, had quite successfully led the young woman to the men's doorms and to his door. "Ah, we have arrived!" He lilted, opening the door and revealing his overly clean little dorm. Shedding his oddly colored tank top and emptying his pockets of his glasses, beeper sort of device, and other odd objects, he got into the lower bunk of two beds, yawning widely. "Thanks for walking me home, love... There's a bed just above me if you wish to sleep there... Or this one if you're feeling daring... Either way love, I shall see you in the morning!" He beamed a sleepy smile at her, and closed his eyes, softly humming 'Music Of The Night.'

The Englishman slept a good seven hours before he awoke, feeling much more refreshed, and quite chipper. There was something tugging at his mind, though he couldn't remember what exactly it was. He had just had a lovely dream, and those visions were still swimming in his head.

((haha, no, you perverts... NOTHING GROSS! *points at everyone else* Oh yeah, and I gotsta wait for Aka to post before he goes to communications... So, yeah... But hey, I POSTED! and Aka just went to bed, so I'll prod her in the morning about it...))
((Did you inform Teufelchen? Hm... according to his last post, he might not wanna continue... If that happens, we COULD just start over in this thread... but then ppl would msg Nironia, we wouldn't want that. She's forgotten about this.))
((I'll talk to Teufel and Aka... BUt frankly, this rp really DID die I think... Haha, we gotta let some things go sometimes... I'll see what Teufel and Aka say, but there's no promises... If Aka doesn't do it, then I probably won't... since frankly, it'd be boring without her ^^; And Cody would be rather lonely... So we'll see what happens... As for starting it over? Not likely... I'm not sure that I'd join again... The problem with me is that I get bored of things somtimes, ya know? The idea gets old... So I probably wouldn't re-join... But yeah... Haha, I'm gonna go to sleep now...))
((Hahaha, I do honestly believe this is dead! But if it makes you happy I will post just for you, Strokend! *prances about* That and this will be funny to typie XD))

Sawyer had visibly flinched at the man's overly clean room, and seemed rather confused as he just went to bed. She was alone in his room with him and he WENT TO BED. Oddest man she had ever met. She glanced around the room curiously wondering just what she was going to do. She was tired and didn't feel up to wandering all the way back to her own dorm. She noted just how tired when she yawned loudly and so widely her eyes teared up.

The young red head pressed her lips together as she thought for a moment, eyes straying over the sleeping Cody. Who was to know?

In the morning Sawyer found herself in a bed and was quite unsure of how she had come to be there. Oddly enough there was a very warm presence beside her. She squinted in confusion and pushed her red hair away from her face, only to find a very familliar somebody in bed with her.

Cody.

Sawyer stifled a little scream by biting into a pillow. She did not remember ever coming into THIS bed. In a sudden panic she looked down at herself and was rather relieved that she was still clothed... and then flushed wondering just what she had expected at all. Sawyer's face was only to brigthen in colour when she realized she was holding him rather like a teddy bear she had once.

This sent the young irishwoman into another flurry of panic as she attempted to roll out of the bed. This is when she realized one of her arms was trapped under his back... and so was she. Like a fox in a bear trap she was and she was beginning to find herself desperate enough to try and gnaw her own arm off so as to escape.

She would never hear the end of this. Ever.

Sawyer ducked under the blankets hoping he wouldn't notice there was a lump... she felt rather silly for trying to hide, but she supposed it was an instinct. The yong woman flushed all the more furiously when she realized he didn't have a shirt on.

"Why meee...?" She lamented in a half sobbing whisper... and then realized the no shirt thing was probably a plus in this whol mess. She had to keep herself from kicking herself with this thought.

((... Yep... I was right. THAT WAS FUN! XD))
((Hahahahahaha... SAWYER ROCKS MY SOCKS! *snooooooort*))

One of the more odd things that ran through his mind as he woke was this. 'Hmm... Hugs are nice...' Shortly thereafter, his thoughts trailed to things of this nature. 'Hmm... I'm strangely warm, and there is something moving next to me... I think I'm laying on it.' It took a moment for the roots of these thoughts to sink in. As soon as they had, he heard the strangely sad sounding words, "Why meee...?"

"Whot's this?" Cody yawned widely, his jaw cracking and eyes watering. The owner of such words seemed to be a lump of blankets. Slowly sitting up, he gently prodded said lump. "Good morning, love! Have a nice sleep?" The Englishman tugged the blankets off her face and gave her a sleepy grin, falling into another yawn and bout of stretching.

A few moments and poppings of the shoulders later, he looked back at her, an odd look on his face. "Are you alright? You seem... Upset, love. You're very red." He chortled, moving her previously trapped hand above her head on the pillow instead. "You're not too hot are you?" It didn't seem that he was bothered one way or another about the whole affair. "Would you like some morning tea?" If he was, he didn't show it. In fact, a comforting grin had spread across his face and he squinted a bit, due to the fact he hadn't yet fixed his glasses. "Right then... At least now I can have some proper clothing..." Cody slid out of the bed and walked toward the small kitchen in the dorm, rummaging about for a couple of teacups. "I hope I didn't wake you?"

((*is STILL laughing about Sawyer here*))
((hahaha, it's going to be even more fun when she tries to sneak out without being seen XDDDD ))

Sawyer seemed awfully surprised when Cody didn't seem to react at all to the fact that she was in bed. She was SO shocked in fact that she was the picture of... well, shock. Her red face had paled dramatically and she seemed to get a handle on things quite suddenly. Or maybe she was just pretending to. It was hard to tell. That smile of his sure did help quite a bit though. This thought, however, sent her mind reeling again.

The red head didn't move from her spot on the bed and coughed. "Er... no..." He voice came out small and squeaky, and she flushed, cleared her throat, and tried again. "I mean no... I woke up on my own..." Yes, indeed. She had waken up on her own, but it was him that really brought her to wake up in the first place without him really doing so. That was confusing.

Sawyer turned onto her side and half shut her eyes. His bed smelled really nice. This is when she decided to roll out of bed, more so because she had tumbled back with the shock of her own thought. Eitherway, she tumbled out and landed on her rump and she quickly stood up trying to cover up this little tumbling act.

"Right! Good morning!" Sawyer glanced around awkwardly. She was pretty sure they had already been through this.

((hahaha, ooooh dear...))
((....hahahhaahah XD))

Cody spared a glance in Sawyer's direction when he heard the soft 'whump' sound of her bum hitting the floor. "You alright?" He inquired, two teacups in one hand, the other searching for teabags. It was then that the man realized he couldn't quite see right, for Sawyer, whom he really did enjoy looking at, was now quite fuzzy looking around the edges, and he couldn't make out much more of her face than two darker spots for eyes, a big red blob for hair, and a suddenly pale skin color. "Could you be a dear and rummage around in that night stand there for my spare pair of glasses?"

He set a teapot on the single burner stove provided for the water to get hot. "I hope you don't mind mint tea... It's all I've got..." He smiled meekly and set the cups on the table. "Oh yes, good morning... You DID want tea, right?"

With an ear out for her answer, he opened a small door which revealed a closet and rummaged through it for a decent shirt and pants. It occurred to him that he also needed a shower, more for habit's sake than anything, as well as a comb. "After breakfast I'll shower..." He then looked over his shoulder and to Sawyer again. "Did you want something to eat?"

((Haha, wa!))
((XD;; wheee! This always was fun <.<;; ))

Sawyer grinned awkwardly. "Yeah... I am fine! Just... got caught up in the sheets..." She frowned a bit at that excuse, but moved along with her fingers idly running through her hair. "And sure... tea is fine..." She said as she knelt beside his nightstand and wiggled her bare toes. Where had her shoes disappeared to?

The young woman jerked back to attention with his inquiry about food and she merely shrugged and shook her head. "Er... if you have anything. Do you want me to make it?" She felt a little like she was putting him out.

Sawyer then opened the drawer to the nightstand, seeing it to be just like the rest of his dorm: very much clean and well organized. His glasses were set neatly upon a little black book with an assorment of pens and pencils on either side. The young mechanic raised her thin brows as she lifted the glasses from their resting place and settled them upon her head. The little black book had struck her curosity for some reason and she was very tempted to peek a look inside. That seemed a bit wrong of her to do so though... he might not like her poking her nose around where it didn't belong. Would he get mad?

The young woman peered over her shoulder to look at Cody, who was very much busy within the closet. Sawyer's brow furrowed for a moment, but she then reached inside and pulled out the book with her sudden decision. She would only glance to see what was inside. He couldn't get mad at her if he never knew, anyway.

Sawyer rocked off her heels and settled into an indian style sitting position. She then opened the little leather bound, black book and found Cody's handwriting to be scrawled on the inside. Red ink, to blue ink, and then to black with dates settled upon each section of chicken scrawled paragraphs. It was just legiable enough to read. It appeared to be a journal and Sawyer found herself to be slightly baffled.

She let the journal come to rest in her lap, her little peek turning into a full out read. Cody didn't seem the type to ever keep a journal, and she was curious to see what he would write about. It was mostly things she would expect from him: a new idea for a type of drink at his bar (she made note to go there and ask about it). Every few pages or so there would be a little sketch or doodle of some sort, but she paid those little mind. He wrote a bit about wishing he had a good friend and a few sentences later bringing up the fact he would love a girlfriend (she flushed horribly at this and turned a few pages).

The next thing she was to read however made her frown. It was about his family. He had never spoken about his family to her. She had not even heard him mention them. Yet, in here, he was saddened by the fact that they weren't here and she felt herself bite her lower lip. Sawyer didn't even know the man was capable of being sad and she suddenly felt very depressed herself. What had even happened to Cody's family?

((... woo long...))
((Haha, YEAH it was... I MISSED IT SO! *huggles the Cody and the Sawyer... but mostly the Cody 'cause he's male*))

Cody managed to find something to his liking, (a pair of simple khaki pnts and a white dress shirt) and tossed it onto his bed; a very practiced movement. From there, he went back to the kitchen type area, for the tea kettle had started whistling. "Good, good... I wouldn't want you hurt any more than you already are. How's your hand?" He inquired, idly rummaging about in his small pantry for something worth cooking. "No, no, I can cook it..." He smiled and produced some cinnamon oatmeal and a bag of english muffins. ((...the last time I ate those I threw up... I think I was seven... Never again have I eaten one...)) "I hope this'll do..."

The food out and ready to be made, he poured the hot water into the teacups, adding the teabags shortly afterward. That done, he quite gracelessly tripped over the leg of a chair and crash-landed on the floor next to Sawyer. "Ow..." Cody got to his knees, nursing an elbow, and wincing, glanced over at her. "Did you find them?" He asked, a note of shock ringing in his voice.

Cody was now sitting rather still, amber eyes trailing from Sawyer's face to the book in her lap. It was his turn to turn a tad red. For as he had asked his question, it occurred to him what was taking her so long to find them. He looked at her, a twinge of disappointment on his face. "...Er...I see you've come across my little musings to myself." The Englishman gave a little bit of a laugh and ran his hand through his messy hair. "You didn't READ any of that rubbish..." He looked back up to Sawyer's frowning face, already knowing the answer. "Did you?"

((hahaha, awwww... I LOVETH THE CODY!))
((Hhaha, same thng happened to me the cream of wheat... Oh... ahh... the thought makes me feel like tossing chunks... IT WAS PINK! o.O; ))

Sawyer jumped horribly when Cody litterally crash landed next to her. Her first thought was to ask if he was alright, but then she realized she was reading his journal. His private thoughts. The thing she said she was only going to peek at. The young woman looked to him guiltly and shut the journal close sharply.

"I'm sorry!" She said, looking rather flustered and shoved the book rather hard into his chest. Her face and ears burned, she felt like he could never forgive her for this and she wondered why she cared so much.

"I'm really sorry!" Sawyer repeated, adding the really as though it would actually help her situation. "I didn't... no... I meant to... er... I didn't know? No... I knew... Maybe..." She scrabbled around for words and finally she settled upon the one phrase she knew she could never go wrong: "I am really sorry, Cody..." Too bad she had said this a total of two times already, three counting this time.

"I... er..." Sawyer felt a little like crying, and instantly felt stupid. Cody should have been the one crying, not her. Not that crying would get anyone anywhere. She felt so horrible for him, and she hadn't been meant to know. A journal was supposed to be kept private and she had read it knowing this. "I-it wasn't rubbish... Cody..." The young woman lowered her gaze. "I didn't know... your family." She twisted her hands. "I didn't know..."

((Hahaha, women's answer to everything= have a good cry *dies of laughter*))
((Jeez, you really seem to be having fun here *Squint grin*))

Tokoshoran, who had left a bit ago to check for a transmission, returned, with a little cart. "Thought you might be hungry, brought us some cerial," he said, stopping it by Michael.
Michael grinned, thanked Tokoshoran, and grabbed a bowl off of the cart. He poured cereal into the bowl, then milk, out of the freezing unit on it, poured over it. He set the milk back into the freezing unit, grabbed a spoon, and started eating. Cheerios. Such an old brand, easy to create on any shuttle. Cheerios became the name of anything that was, well, like Cheerios.

After finishing the cereal, they set the bowls back onto the cart, and continued playing. A few minutes later, Michael left to take the cart back to the nearest kitchen, where he rinsed them, and set them in the dishwasher.

((Oh, Ala, I didn't know you were a girl untill a couple days ago *sticks tongue out* You playing as guys kinda messes it up.))
((Hahaha, I've always been a girl! *laughs* Yep yep... Lol, I suppose I play guys well then? *laughs* Or something... >.> <.< *types*

Haha, having fun? HECK YEAH! Lol, Sawyer and Cody make me laugh SO much! HAhhaa, I'll get to the control room soon though... >.> <.< We got caught up in things *laughs*))

Cody took the book that was so roughly shoved to his chest into a hand and looked over the cover of it. He chewed a lip for a moment, unsure of what to say, or feel for that matter.

Of course Sawyer felt bad for what she did. However, that invasion of his personal space wasn't expected. "Most of it IS rubbish..." He said quietly, opening the book slowly. "Like this." He laughed slightly, shaking his head. "Me wanting a good friend? Perhaps a girlfriend... There are more important things... Like keeping the last of the humans alive." He turned a few pages and pointed to a number of sketches and mathematical equations. "Like this... These helped get us all up here."

A few pages later, "Heh, a bit of nonsense about some drink mixes..." He shrugged, letting the book drop onto his lap, where a number of pages flipped by, opening to the point he had written about his family. At this point, he skimmed it over and with a deep breath snapped the book shut. "It's alright... I don't much talk about it." He smiled crookedly and took his glasses carefully off Sawyer's head, putting them on. "Not the best way to meet someone, is it? 'Hey, love! My name's Cody and I don't have any family left!' Not the best pickup ever."

He got to his feet and returned the book to its place in the nightstand. "But, if what you're looking for is forgiveness? I can do that..." Cody spread his arms out and grinned. "But only if you give me a hug!"

((...hehehe...))
((Hhaha, poor Cody... and yeeeh... and dude... I play guys more than most of the time! You should not assume! *nods her head*... and I am a girl, yo...))

Sawyer sat there for a long moment and said nothing. She was pressing her lips together so hard they had become a thin white line and her hands were balled up in her lap. Her bright golden eyes appeared glassy and just above her brows were furrowed into a tight knot. She seemed like she was fighting to keep something under control, and after a moment Cody found out just what that was.

The young woman broke out into a stifled sob and tears streamed down her face. "C-cody!" She cried and attempted to wipe her tears away, only for those to be replaced by new ones. "Why are y-y-you like that?!" Sawyer broke out between a gasping breath and seemed quite unable to say much else as she covered her face with her hands.

Sawyer's small shoulders shook with each cry, and she hicupped everytime she tried to take a deep breath to calm herself. She felt incredibly stupid for crying like this... but someone had to cry for this selfless man, for he didn't seem to cry for himself.

"I-i-it's not stupid t-t-to care about yourself!" She sniffed, but was unable to look at him. The man could already hear her pathetic whimpering, he didn't need to see it too. She didn't even remember the last time she had actually cried.

((hahahaha, WOMEN ARE FUNNY! XD))
Cody's grin hovered on his face for a brief moment, shocked into place at what Sawyer had done. He was NOT expecting that. "A-ahh... LIke what?" His voice cracked and his outstretched arms moved into a position of surrender, looking at the woman helplessly.

"Calm down! I-it's okay!" He was suddenly on his feet and pacing back and forth, at a complete loss for what to do. "Uhh, s-stop crying!" The poor man, who normally was cool in every situation, was quite effectively panicking.

Figuring pacing wasn't working, he put his hands on her shoulders and began massaging them gently, now on his knees and whispering. "It's okay... It's okay... Caaaaalm down." Funny thing was, he wasn't sure if he was telling her or himself.

((haha, that's terribly short))
